I paid $1,700 for the parts and $1,000 for the labor and I came out feeling great about the big spend for my hybrid EV car! I was impressed with the speed of the services, which included purchase of brand new tires and the flush and refill of three separate cooling systems. We coordinated the delivery of the parts so when the parts arrived the next day, I dropped off my car and they were finished within just 5 hours.An automated wheel alignment test was provided and it identified a torn control arm throwing the wheel toe out of alignment, which the Globe promptly fixed without delay. While some may believe unexpected surprises during inspection may be dubious, this one made complete sense as my car did use to yank to one side when I drove. I did not feel my trust in their mechanics were abused.I cannot think this could have been the same experience with my local dealership. My car would have had been in their garage for multiple days and without an alignment test, the torn control arm would have not been found.I needed this car done fast and they did deliver within 24 hours of getting the quote. Thanks Alan and Globe! The car drives like the day I bought it brand new once again!

I’ve always come here for my tires. Their work is precise and clean. Their prices are the best around, even offering better prices than big box stores, and Globe tires are far superior brands and models than you can find at those types of stores. I just won’t go anywhere else.

Ive used Globe in the past and theyve always been great with new tires. This time, I had a nail in my tire and called and spoke to Jason and he took good care of me! There was an issue with my tire lock and Jason got it squared away and got my tire patched...he kept me posted on the progress, provided great service and was very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend Jason and Globe Tires as they are top notch!

What more can I say about this place? The second I pulled in and Jason the store manager approached me and asked how he could help, it felt like we were already buddies. I’m still in shock, and total disbelief. A shop that removes your nails for free. We have two cars with nails on both tires, off both cars. Globe tire removed the nails for you and Charge. Everyone working there were so courteous, and professional. I recommend them to anyone. Most of all, how could they be free?

I was down in Manhattan Beach helping my father (and mother who was his primary caretaker) after a very intense surgery he had. The day before I was to drive back home to Clovis I was “luckily“ sent on an errand by my mom for my dad. As I got in my truck it said my right rear tire pressure was down to 22psi and I did see the screw in the tire I picked up. This was a Saturday around 2pm.The closest tire repair place to me was Globe Tire & Automotive so I gave them a call for the first time ever. They said they could patch the tire but, they closed at 4:15, everyone would be gone by 4:30pm. They were very busy with other vehicles and only had one guy in that day working. Brett went out of his way to help understanding my situation, having to leave in ~18hrs for a 4hr ride home. He had me leave my truck there so he could “sneak my in“ when there was a chance to do so. I got an Uber back to my folks house and just as promised, got a call right before 4pm saying it was done and ready for pickup. When I went to pay, Brett said “no charge, glad we could help you out,” which was so nice it almost made me uncomfortable (nobody does anything for free these days!). Chatted for a while during drop off and pickup and he was a very nice guy.I tried to leave my first Yelp review but, having problems signing up. This is only my 2nd Google review I’ve ever left in my life and it is more than earned by Globe Tire & Auto. Very good work, quick turnaround, nice guys working there who care about doing the right thing for their customers. Did it all while short staffed and 100% free of charge. If I’m ever in need of auto/tire repair when I’m down visiting my folks, I’ll be going back to Globe Tire and Automotive. Thank you Brett and crew!

In dealing with Brett on the phone, he was kind enough to offer me priority on Saturday as my car was desperately in need of tires and wheel alignment. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised, that due to the holiday weekend, they weren’t busy and were able to work on my car immediately. I waited in their lobby, which could use a little refreshing.They had the tires I needed, installed them, and performed the wheel alignment. As the mechanic was pulling my car out to take it for a test drive, I oversaw another mechanic tell him not to take it out (?) I thought this was strange, but paid for the work performed and rolled out onto Sepulveda, only to find that within a block of leaving my car was pulling to the right pretty severely. This is definitely something that they would’ve recognized during a test drive. I immediately went back and waited another half hour for them to make the adjustments. Why they wouldn’t allow the mechanic to test drive it, before handing the car back to the customer, is really beyond me.

Globe aligned my Tundra for me after I got it lifted and put new tires on - they put it back to factory specs and it was off a bit, I found some new specs and they re-aligned it to those specs at no additional cost. Good people, good shop - call and talk to Brett, he will get you hooked up.

I Had rear bushings and side arms replaced as well as front pads and rotors. The customer service was great from beginning to end. I think a good job was done on my car at a good value. Most importantly I feel confident in the safety of my car after the repair work. Kudos to Service manager Leo and themechanics that worked on my car. Worst experience ever! The guy told me it would be 1 hour to do a front end alignment, I waited over an hour and he comes walking up to me and said I needed new struts, I asked how much, $2,500! I told him my car was just at the dealership and I just got 4 brand new tires and there was no mention of needing struts, he says “well we didn’t do the alignment”- 🤯 I said “why did it take you an hour to tell me?” What have you been doing this whole time? He said he was “busy” but he was sitting behind his desk doing nada. I left, went to the dealership, NOTHING wrong with my struts! This as* just tried to scam me!! Do not ever take your car to this place, it’s shady, filthy inside and they are liars and scammers!!

I appreciate how friendly and helpful Nadine ALWAYS is and they go out of their way to avoid suggesting any repair that you don’t actually need. If Globe says you need something, then you can trust that you need it. They made a mistake on my car once and put on the wrong oil filter. I recently brought my car to Globe Tire for new tires as well as other maintenance checks and I am extremely disappointed in the service. They told me they were going to order me firestone tires that were a lot more expensive than tires they already had. They never offered the cheaper tires until I inquired. Additionally, when I picked up my car, everything from my glove box was on the floor of my passenger seat after they checked my cabin filter. I found one of my earrings that I left in my driver side door, however the other is not to be found in my car. I will not return back here for any future work I need done to my car.

I was referred to Globe Tires by a family member who use their services numerous times and never had an issue. I decided to give them a shot as my machanic retired. I dropped the vehicle off at the shop on a Saturday to have my water pump replaced, by Thursday I still did not received a call from the shop or receive any emails regarding the status of my car. I called Globe Tires on Thursday and asked what was the status of my car? the front desk stated that they found more issues with my car which I was already aware of and stated they are not going to replace the water pump unless they can fix everything on the car then proceeded to say that they did not want to work on the car because it would take too long and asked when I can pick the car up. Smh........ I was speechless then frustrated that they waited almost a week to tell me they did not want to work on the car. When I picked my car up they charged me $85 for a diagnoses that I didnt ask for, I only wanted my water pump replaced. This is one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with a mechanic shop. DONT GO TO GLOBE TIRES IN MANHATTEN BEACH CA, this place is a scam.

Ive been taking my car here for years and they always do a great job. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accomodating (special shout out to Josh!) They provide accurate wait times and are always thorough with their explanations and work performance. I never feel that I am being overcharged or that more work is being done than is necessary. Just wanted to compliment the folks at Globe Tire for their excellent service this past weekend when I brought in my Porsche 911 on short notice to ask if they could remove a nail from my rear tire and patch it. I also asked them to take care not to scratch the black wheels, which is easy to do. They assured me they would do so, and finished the job within an hour without a blemish and at no charge to me. Needed wheel realignment. Promised itd be done in an hour. Very busy day, so I didnt think much of it. Wait time ended up being 3 hours. They broke the Lug Nuts and claimed they didnt have the parts to replace them. Charged far more than what I was quoted for the service. They resisted in ordering the parts to replace the Lug Nuts, after repeated calls on their status. I felt like I was punished for their mistake.Do not go to them. I’m generally not a fan of mechanics. Is it so hard to just find an honest mechanic? Evidently the answer is: yes. It’s sad that a merely passable grade constitutes a good mechanic.Globe has been really good. They seem upfront and generally nice. I’ve taken my three cars here for a variety of different things.They do more than just tires. They have a full mechanic section also. I’ve had new tires put on, balance, rotate, align, new CV joints, new wheel bearings, new shocks done here. They’re usually fast and get your car back the same day.I will say as a big plus — they usually call you when they say they will. Lots of mechanics don’t. Like I said, pretty low bar for this profession.No reservations so get their 15 min before they open as there’s usually a line already. And it’s not organized or consistent how they form the line at opening.

Awesome experience. I had a nail in my tire, so I took my car in. Very nice people, put the car right on the lift (on a busy Saturday!), patched it up, and had the car done in 20min. Came here for brake fluid and low tire pressure and it looks like they only helped for brake fluid because i went to another mechanic and they said the tires were very low and there was also a screw stuck inside of one of my tires which i had to pay extra to get it fixed somewhere eles. not a good place and you might just end up with something in your tire.

Absolutely the best place to go for tires and tire repair. The staff are competent, efficient, proefessional, and friendly. They erapired my tire when I ran over a big nail. They repaired it within any questions, hassle, and did not even try to sell me anything. Months later, when it came time for me to consider replacing my tires, I could have gone anywhere; but I came to them. Their prices were competitive; even to Costco. More importantly, their random acts of kindness, hands down, are priceless and win my lifetime business. These guys are crooks. They would not honor a warranty on tires that were purchased from their establishment. They did not want to help me at all and I was forced to go to another tire shop to replace the tires at full cost. The other nationally known tire shop I ended up going to stated the tires should have definitely been replaced under warranty. They went on to state that if they had sold me the tires, they would have surely been replaced for free under warranty. Lesson learned. I would not recommend working with Globe Tire.

I’ve used Globe Tire a number of times now and I really can’t speak highly enough about their people, process and professionalism. Living in Manhattan Beach, our cars seem to pick up a nail or screw every other week. Nadine at Globe always does her best to remove the nail free of charge, and most of the time she succeeds. On those occasions where more expensive repairs or a replacement are required, the costs are always reasonable and the work is done quickly. Other companies could learn a thing or two by watching Globe Tire.

Went there initially to fix a flat tire a year ago. They fixed the tire then when I asked what is the cost the front desk said they plugged it for free. There are garages in town that for them to just lift your car is $50. Next time 5 months later a different tire was shredded and they replaced the tire and balanced it right at the time they stated which is important in regards to my time. Recently had another tire I thought was damaged and after their expert looking at it. They stated I dont need it yet. I couldnt believe it in that I went there and they knee I prepared to buy a new tire. I will only buy tires from this establisment as long as I am in southern California. Honest, on time service and not just trying to sell you stuff. They understand that repeat business and word of mouth has higher moral value and in the long term, better for business. My BMW dealer actually recommended them to me initially.

I suspect Globe has a company that manages their internet presence, since I cannot see how they get a positive score on Yelp. I spoke to a mechanic named Dave at Globe/Manhattan Beach... He said he could change the tire pressure sensors on my Porsche for less (still about $450) than the dealer or my non dealer mechanic, so, I thought Id give Globe a try. ...Dave clearly had no idea how to replace the sensors and was clearly winging it, after waiting for 3 hours on a job (NOT completed) that was suppose to take no more than two hours to complete (his quote), he gave me some BS story saying the sensors work, but it must be the main computer and a bunch of other smoke, blah blah blah... and he fixed nothing on my car... At which time I told him I had a friend who was a service manager at an out of town Porsche dealer and would he be willing to explain it to him ---his eyes got BIG --- he said you know a Porsche service manager???? I called the Porsche manager on cell and gave the phone to Dave; Dave weirdly disconnected him, so I called my friend back, and gave the phone to Dave AGAIN -- he was very rude to the Porsche guy, and said can I help you? in a gruff voice, as though it was some new call and he had no idea what it was about ...I told Dave, auuuuh, you are suppose to tell him the problem you are having, and then Dave hung up on him again. .... It was VERY APPARENT that Dave was TRYING HARD NOT to connect with the Porsche mechanic....I guess he knew the BS story wouldnt fly with the mechanic who knew about the car... Dave completely wasted my time. After this draining experience with Globe, I promptly took my car to my non dealer Porsche mechanic who charges a little more, and he said it would take an hour to replace the sensors and that that was the problem, and he gave me a shop loaner car to run my errands. I am paying 10% more than Dave and Globes quote, but at least I have a person who knows how to fix the car, has integrity, shoots it straight, and doesnt BS me or waste my time. Also, I didnt mention it earlier, but Dave is also a very condescending individual; that was my first red flag. I would have preferred to skip this experience, and will avoid Globe in the future.
