AMAZING!! I went to gilroy nails for the first time. Literally my nails have never looked this good ever! I’m so happy! Natalie is a true artist I will definitely be coming back! I am always nervous about getting my nails done because I want them done right and they just never seem to be what I want. But with Natalie no joke It looks exactly like the picture I showed her! Couldn’t be happier! I would rate this place 6 stars if I could! 😍

The worst service and they come up with different/extra prices for same design on different visits. The nail tech that sits two rows back near the front right has a terrible attitude and tries to keep adding more charges to the agreed price and rolls her eyes and is nasty when I declined extras. I asked her how much for a full set and she told me she has to tell me later as it depends on the length.This should be a posted amount of $ not a car salesman type negotiation as who wants to deal with that when trying to relax? I asked for medium length, she quoted a price which seemed to be very hard for her to come up with and when it was too long because I have to be able to type I asked for shorter and she told me it won’t be cheaper to go shorter. I thought it depended on length?? So going from medium to shorter is the same $$ but going longer is also more expensive?? Either way you have to apply the same fake nail?? Prices should be posted not left up to nail techs depending on their bad mood and miserable disposition. I didn’t even care about the price but she made it such an uncomfortable experience and is a bully trying to get more money on the quoted $75. She was also in a hurry taking off my old nails damaging them and very rough and cut me!! When they cut you and make you bleed they put a nail polish type glue on without changing the brush applicator which is dangerous. Just take a look at the responses from the owner of the negative reviews and you will see their customer service and petty attitude. This place is way overpriced, careless and just sheisty!!!!

I am very pleased. I will definitely recommend this salon!!Today I only received a gel manicure. Very prettyI went back to Gilroy nails today and I had a wonderful visit the lady took her time giving me a pedicure and was so relaxing it felt so wonderful and the lady who did my nails did nail art it looks Christmas yet looks so pretty pretty. Thank you Gilroy nails. They are my favorite salon by far. I try and use somebody else And 2 of my nails turn green, so my mistake. But I moved far away so I had to try somebody else, I dont care how far they are from where I moved when I come down every 2 weeks thats what exactly were Im going to get my nails done.Always busy, will always help you!

Love this nail salon! My mom, aunt and I come here to get pedicures every month or so. The prices are reasonable, they do an excellent job, and the chairs are super comfy.

Overall the work that they do is pretty good depending on the nail tech. I have been serviced by 3 different ladies for acrylics and they turned out very nicely each time. However, Ive noticed that they tend to upcharge every chance they get and then get upset when you call them out or settle for a cheaper option. The last time I came in I was quoted $75 for a fill+ design (which I showed her in advance). I agreed and proceeded to sit in the chair. While she was doing the nails the tech was extremely rough to the point where she cut my finger so bad that it started bleeding. In addition, she wanted to charge me an extra $10 for the tiny little gems I wanted on 2 fingernails. Insane. Im the end I ended up paying $80+ tip which is more than I expected. Nearly $100 for a fill is crazy but she did a good job besides that. If you have the money, dont hesitate to go here. There work is good but service could be improved.

Very disappointed in the place, I have been several times because it is close to my house, the customer service is bad and the service is not good, they do things very quickly, the only thing they are interested in is finishing quickly to get paid, I do not recommend it. As soon as you walk in they ask what you want and tell you where to sit. They dont bother telling you about how much the wait time will be. From the time I got here till the time the girl finished with my pedicure, it was 2 hours (just for pedicure). This is ridiculous. I could of went somewhere else and got both my nails and my pedicure for that amount of time. I felt like the lady that did my pedicure did not do her job right like the package that I got came with a 6 minute massage, I got less than that.The only plus side of this salon is that it has plenty of parking, plenty of nice colors to choose from, and plenty of chairs for people to sit and wait.

Just went today with my mom. Bad customer service. The lady who’s in station 9 her name is Tracy has a very bad ATTITUDE and yelled at my mom. My mom already chose a color for her nails and all she needed was a refill. The lady was doing her work in a rush and refused to give the color my mom wanted and “Tracy” wanted to give my mom a different color to charge my mom a lot more. That’s what they do here. They take advantage of you with the prices. They trick you in order to pay more. It’s a RIP OFF. “Tracy” needs to learn how to be PATIENT with their customers and watch her tone of voice. With her attitude that’s how you lose customers!With this bad experience with the lady in Station 9 definitely not coming back. Just warning everyone with the lady in station 9 “Tracy”.

Today we were serviced by a lovely lady, named Cathy table #7. Cathy took care of my new set of acrylic nails and did my nails perfectly. I love them. She was very meticulous and ready to listen and make corrections when necessary. The 3D flowers were done perfectly.My mother had her nails done by a wonderful lady in table #2, I was pleased by how they came out. and they do that a very professional job. The manager is wonderful I would recommend this place to my best friends I have💕

I was a walk in and needed a new set of nails and was asked to sign in thinking that I would have to wait for a little bit, but just like that I was asked to have a seat and then I was on my way to having my nails done. I love it here ! The staff is real not afraid to speak up when customers are rude I love it ! First time I had gone I didn’t really like it because I thought it was too rushed but now I see that they’re just really good and they do get lots of business and are busy trying to get to every client ! I like that they’ll turn you down if they know they won’t have time for you instead of having you sit around. I don’t know but this will be my go to always for as live as I live in Gilroy! This was my first visit at Gilroy Nails. My experience there was out of this world. A lot of available staff, so waiting was minimal to none. I did go on a Monday. I had the honor of getting a pedicure done by Anna, she was so sweet, gentle and amazing! I also had the honor of getting my nails done by Deedee, also another amazing nail technician and experienced! She provided me with a great recommendation on the design of my nail, had me laughing the entire time and was so fast! 😊 Thank you for having such a wonderful, clean and inviting atmosphere with outstanding staff. I was very satisfied with the service I received and outcome of my pedicure and acrylic nails. I will definitely be returning.

Id like to start off by stating this was my favorite nail salon however lately the services offered are terrible. I find it extremely rude to be brushed off & have to be worked on in between other clients. I am paying for a service & understandably would like to receive decent experience. Today I waited 45 minutes for a new set I have acrylic overlay so yes it’s need to be soaked off. The nail tech was bothered by this she said I’d have to wait 40 minutes for a soak off while meanwhile she got started on a new set for someone else. I explained normally takes 20 minutes for a soak off when a nail tech is actually servicing & not putting someone off to the side. This bothered her more. She stated that it was my fault for not saying anything when I arrived. After my soak off was complete she disregarded me once again to finish the other set extremely rude & disappointed I clear expressed my concerns in a polite manner & was treated unkindly. I paid for my soak off & left, I will no longer be returning as it seems like customer experience is not a priority here at all. Fun fact: since the nail salon is soooo busy seems like they forget to disinfect properly just something I noticed while I was seated waiting for my soak off. Anyways if you’re looking for a nail salon that actually cares about the customer service they provide try Veda nails a little pricier but way better service & you get what you pay for. My sister took me here as a birthday present, to get my toes done, and I have to say that I was NOT disappointed at all.The place itself was pristine. It was clean, smelled fantastic, and the overall feel was calming.The women working were very nice and professional. They took their time with each customer, even ad the line at the door began to grow. I didnt feel like my time there was rushed because customers were lining up at the door.Ill definitely be going back when Im in the area again. They did a wonderful job on my toes, and I was so relaxed the whole time.

Today was my first time coming to get services here. My sister always has nice nails and feet. Tran did an excellent job! I had ankle surgery at the beginning of the year and its still quite tender. She was gentle enough around those trouble areas, but still did an awesome pedicure. I will be back for more services.

Every time I go they are able to get me in quickly, even if they are busy. There are always a lot of people working so even if I have to wait its not for very long. Other places I have been have turned me away because they were too busy. The nail technicians are friendly and do great work. All you have to do is show a picture of what you want and theyll do it.

I came here twice and wont be returning I loved how the first nails came out to look, but the wait time was very long even with appointment.I returned again to get a mani pedi but was not very happy. They kept changing the prices on me and ended up paying almost 200 dollars on my mani pedi my nails werent even painted they just made a line and dabbed some paint with a sponge and charged me 90dl dollars for it. It didnt even look like the design i brought in. My nails didnt even last 2 weeks before starting to fall off. One of my toe nails even came off completely. I will never be returning here again very disappointing.

Me, my mom and daughter(child). Went in today to get our nails done. I got there at 5pm and left at closing. They kept taking other customers, leaving us to wait. When they finally sat us down, they constantly interrupt our service to go attend other customers. When I finally got helped, they kept adding additional costs after quoting a price. I showed her a photograph of what I wanted, the design she painted looked nothing like the pic. When I pointed it out she looked annoyed and refused to give me what I wanted, leaving me unsatisfied. When she was done with my nails, she asked me to go wash my hands. When I came back, a new person was already sitting at my spot. With my wallet, keys and phone exposed infront of the new customer.!!! My mom, age 76, waited even longer then I did for her pedicure. They did not sanitize the foot spa or replaced the bag in the tub. They obviously dont care about sanitation. FYI Covid +Monky Pox +Fungus (DANGER.) I also noticed they dont clean their utensils or SANITIZE CHAIRS!!!. WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR MY CHILD TO GET HER NAILS PAINTED, Near closing time. Exhausted, TIRED AND FUSY. THEY PAINTED GEL ON ONE HAND, and did not put her hand under the light to dry. So it smeard. The Nail Tek told me Thats why nobody wants to paint her nails. Not considering she is a child, and how long they made her wait. She ended up refusing to finish her nails. I asked her to remove the gel, and she refused. She said another nail place could remove it! I thought it was very unprofessional to act this way after waiting for so long! I wouldnt recomend this place to anyone! They were rude and unprofessional. 😡

Tren did my gel manicure and she was amazing. She took her time and was very gentle and meticulous. My cuticles and nails have never looked better! When I was indecisive about colors she went out of her way to paint samples on diff fingernails so I could see how they would look on me. Will definitely be returning.

They do not care how they leave and damage your nails. So very disappointed in the service I received last Wednesday, August 2. I got a full set and originally I was going to get gel on the acrylic set but I witnessed someone sitting next to me with ombre pink and white acrylic set I requested for that to be done instead. As my nail tech was doing my nails I looked online at the website for Gilroy nails to get a price on the new set. The service online stated the set would cost $45 and up considering the length shape and any other work that may need to be done to my nails. I got short nails squares shaping with nothing extra done. When it came time to pay for the set I was being charge $65 I was really taken back because that was a whole $20 more than what I intended on spending that day. I did not want to go back-and-forth with the owner so we settled at 55 for the set the owner did try to tell me the set I got an received are long nails however I’ve always only gotten short nails and the length check every time I ask my nail tech to continue to cut down very confusing on what they consider long or short nails. As of today one week and one day later my nails are already starting to chip at the cuticles and they look about 3 to 4 weeks old I’ve done nothing out of the usual with my nails and now I am stuck with nails that look weeks old yet I just spent $55 for them to be done last week. Eno before the owner writes me back asking how we can make this right just know I’m posting this to make everyone aware of the price confusion when in the shop please please please check their online to make sure they’re charging you the right amount for each set or service that they do for you it seems that they only charge what they feel is right when they see the person right in front of them instead of honoring the price that they have set on their online site.

This is the best nail salon in gilroy. For starters, it is a beautiful salon. It offers a trendy but classy scene and ample waiting room. This salon does get busy, especially after 2 pm! So be prepared to wait. However, the wait is worth it. There will be someone to greet you and make you comfortable.The aspect that makes this salon stand out to me personally, is the livelihood of the interactions between clients and technicians. It is a place you will be pleased with your experience with any technicians.They have a mix of tasteful and classy women, trendy and bubbly younger women, and even the sweetest older man who helped me out today. My experience with this man in particular was so nice. He was so fast, efficient, and caring.You will be happy with your experience if you’re looking for a fresh experience at your local nail salon.

I should have just gotten up and left when she told me she didnt want to cut my toe nails. I shouldnt have to cut my own toenails the day after a pedicure. That was the first clue that this would not be a good experience. I could go on an entire tangent about everything that I thought was wrong with the place but I think I will summarize it to they do not practice good sanitation methods because that is the most important part of a pedicure in my opinion. There was many other things I considered to be wrong but I dont have the time to list it all.

Definitely some positives but the negatives outweighed them for me. If you don’t like to be pushed into getting something done and you’re a bit nervous or new to the nail trends, I would not recommend this place to you. Although if you are pretty much at ease with different types of nail art and designs and “services” like overlay, acrylic, gel etc then this place is okay. Although not everyone is as trained. You might also get judged for your appearance and clothes.Positives - they have a lot of staff so you might get a spot right away or after a short wait.They offer a lot of services in manicures and pedicures and have a “menu” with prices that you can choose from.The pedicures are really nicely done.Negatives: they push you and force you to get a service done and then charge extra - anywhere from 20-70 dollars for it.Not all staff is well trained and they really messed up my manicure. They filed in too much that destroyed my nail bed and my nails started breaking and peeling. It took me around 3 months to get them back in shape.

My girl came to get her nails done here last week with Cathy, matte black. Im currently in here right now and this is the 4th time shes had to come back because the color keeps chipping off half the nail. Shes asked why this is happening and if shes gonna have to keep coming back with no answer. They just kind of look at it and yeah they fix it, which is why i gave them a second star. But its so inconvenient to keep having to come back. The lady said she could change nail color today, but it would be 20$ extra. Dont waste your time. Never had these kinds of problems at Luxury spa. If youre here, dont go to Cathy #4

I have tried out a lot of different nail salons in Gilroy and I finally found the best one in town! My daughter & I went for pedicures on a Saturday evening. The place is very open & clean. Our nail techs Lisa & Anna were wonderful! We will definitely be requesting them when we come back. They were gentle but VERY thorough. We got the signature pedicure treatment and they spent over an hour with each of us. It was very relaxing and no one ever seemed rushed or pushy. I highly recommend this place.

Started off good. I took my friend there for her birthday. I got the French nails and she got the shellac color change. The lady that worked on mine wasnt social at all and kept tapping one of my fingers constantly to go down instead of telling me. When my hand is relaxed one of my fingers tends to stick up. The lady that was working on my friend was more social, but seemed to be getting distracted by another employee that was hovering her. When another employee came in she tapped on the coworker that was doing my friends nails on the head which caused her to hit her head on the light. Later on my friend was telling the lady that was working on her that the nail polish is wrong and is not the color changing one. Her response back was that it is just wait a few hours and it will change color. My friend knew she was wrong because the color changing is immediate especially when under the UV lamp to dry. She didnt want to argue anymore with her and was just fed up and wanted to leave. We are not going back there just due to the unprofessionalism.

I have been going to this place for over 1 year and have decided to look for a new nail salon. Dont bother calling to schedule an appointment, they dont even track your appointment or take your name down. They have an electronic check in which is useless again they dont use it for appointments. They will have you wait 1-2 hours even if you call ahead. They dont care about customer service even if you give them the feedback regarding appointments. They wont do anything about it. Ive gotten excuses each time... they are short staffed (but they dont tell you that when you call ahead) and you can even see on the google reviews here, when they respond to an unhappy customer, they dont action on it, clearly. Ive had to speak to the guy that answers the phone a few times about their poor customer experience, but again, they only want you to come in regardless if you have to sit and wait for long hours which is at the cost of a customers time. People have walked out so many times due to long waiting hours, their poor business management and lack of action on customer experience. Dont let the fancy looking place fool you! All they care about is making money and youre definitely NOT treated as a VIP as they mention on their website. This is the only nails salon that Ive ever been to that does not take appointments. Even if you ask for a specific nail tech, they will have you wait 1-2 hours guaranteed. So if you have time to waste, go for it.UPDATE: I received a text message since they searched me on their electronic check in instead of taking a positive action and responding here like in every other feedback, they basically told me to go elsewhere and dont need to go to their nail salon. LOL well, I didnt need a text to know there are better nail salons out there; I wasnt planning to go back anyway. Clearly again, they decided to text me directly rather than address it publicly here and do something positive about it. My pedicure was do e very well here. Sometimes it is hit or miss with the pedicures being able to get in grown toe nails out .. this lady did it with ease and mostly no pain. Her name is Anna if you are in need of ingrown toe relief!

Horrible customer service. I had previously had my nails done twice at this location. I had went back because I wanted my nails to be taken off because of work . The lady refused to take my nails off and complained about having to do so because she was only going to make 10 dollars in removing my nails I had previously asked for thou and the woman said she would be in later I could not wait and I had to leave unfortunately I took my nails off my self but if anything they shouldnt be money greedy like that over nail removal especially if I have been a customer several times with them due to this bad experience i removed my previous 5 stars and rating . Never going back again 👎

I recommend that you call ahead and make an appointment before coming here as it gets very busy. They are currently expanding into the next store space and the grand opening should be sometime in November. I was happy with my nails and I was happy that I was in-and-out fairly quickly I think I may have found my new nail spot.

The price on their menu shows 20$ you can get a manicure.. instead the women out there they just do not want to Bill for 20$.. The same service which comes for 20$ they want to fool us and say 30$ for gel nail.. Come on.. either you remove 20$ option from your menu. Thao is AMAZING!!! Ive been having her do my nails since about 2 years. I always text her last minute, and she not once, has told me she cant take me in. Thao is very good, thorough, and a perfectionist. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied with her work. Her OMBRE Nails, are THE Best!! She does a beautiful job!! Worst salon experience ever. They took almost 3 hours to do a mani pedi for me and just a pedi for my friend.... not only that but they DO NOT sanitize their supplies. After she did my gel nails, she had me get up to wash my hands, I wasn’t even finished washing my hands before she was working on the next person. As for the pedicure.... they actually gave me an infection in my big toe 🙃 so yeah... don’t go here. Sanitation is TERRIBLE

I regret not taking photos of my finger after getting my nails done here :(. The lady who did my nails was being so careless I got a cut on the cuticle on my thumb and it got infected. That is the second time it’s happened here and it’s been with the same tech. It was painful luckily it got better within a few days of taking care of it. I’m not sure if I’ll return here :( it’s upsetting because I thought this would be my to-go to place now. Other than that the quality is pretty good
