This library is very beautiful, and very quiet. So, if you are a student that needs a quiet place to study this is a good place to come to. They also have free wireless internet, which is a plus! It’s a very clean library as well…restroom are very clean too

Beautiful 2 story facility. Stairs and elevators. Books, media, periodicals, reference. Childrens area and teens, meeting rooms and quiet spots. Large, open building, beautifully taken care of. Very helpful, friendly staff.

I love the Gilroy Library! Its a very nice building, and they have, or can get, most of the books that you would want to read. They also have great programs, like the Reading Program which can help adults learn or refine reading skills, that can be very helpful. A truly great place that deserves support!

Love the Gilroy Library! Great selection of movies and books. Awesome staff! They are always willing to go above and beyond to help you. Very relaxing atmosphere. They recently installed an outdoor seating area. So cool.Update 1/29/2023: Still quite and relaxing. Staff so helpful. Visit and see for yourself.

Preschool story-time is so much fun here. My grand daughter is really coming out of her shell; Covid baby. We have several high risk people in our family so we didnt socialize during Covid. Its been difficult but the songs, stories and playtime at the library on Thursday mornings have been so great to get her socialized. Its a wonderful program and the leaders are so sweet and energetic. Plus you can check out books while youre there. This is a great resource for families.

Very nicely designed, clean library. My only two gripes are there arent enough power outlets for laptops and the wooden seats get uncomfortable quickly.

Beautiful library with a great selection of modern books, well curated. Big selection of DVDs and Blu-Rays as well. Very clean and a great ambiance. I love going there and plopping down in a comfy chair in a quiet corner with a bunch of magazines. And if they dont have something you want you can request it and theyll order it.All in all, great library. Seems out of place in Gilroy :P

Great local library with modern facility and good selection of materials beyond just books. Is large enough that you can easily find a good place to read or work. Also, their website is easy to use and schedule items for pickup. Great online resources such as Consumer Reports and Lynda Learning come with your SCCL account!

One have their privacy to study. Homeless folks come to charge the phone inside the library. I have seen cops standing at the front double door. librarian are really helpful.

Quite difficult to play Minecraft. But overall very nice and safe. I totally recommend going there. Very cool inside, very nice employees, the security guard is wonderful! Very clean. Ive never had a problem with this library. I love it there, They have very fun people that go there such as The Bubble Lady, Roy The Reptile Guy. Its so amazing. They even have days where you can go read to a dog! Its AMAZING! There vending machine is almost always full with healthy and unhealthy treats. There is this program where you can teach an adult to read. And if you dont have a library card sometimes there is this room where you can go to play Minecraft with other people. Its wonderful!!!!!!! I love the new library. The terminals make checkout a breeze - no waiting. Everyone that Ive encountered that works there have been very helpful.I would give them 5 stars except their new book selections are limited by finances and they arent open on Sundays or Mondays.

The best place in all of Gilroy. Its spacious and staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Adults materials are on the 2nd fl and 1st fl is for childrens. Story times every Sat mornings is great for babies and toddlers. Lots of arts and crafts.

Beautiful inside. Fully handicapped accessible. Elevator to 2nd floor where the adult and young adult section is. First floor is childrens.Modern self check out system and easy access return.

Nothing bad to say about the library, itself. Frustrating note about Google, however. Ive sent 2 edits to Google about the librarys location. Both had Actions Taken without editing anything.Thanks for finally doing something 5 months after the 2nd request for edit. You might want to get google maps to actually face the library now.

Great place to work with free Wi Fi, go straight upstairs for a private quite work area. Looks like a great place to bring kids downstairs as well. Free Parking to!

Horrible service from a Mrs. Sara. He attended very poorly and does not respect the Latin Community, I dont know why he has that type of job. I will never go back to that place to process an ID to use the library. Only four people were talking and they werent helping anyone.
