I was excited to switch ISP providers. I had been waiting and watching the last year+ for our neighborhood to be activated. I finally was able to switch over in January 2024. Unfortunately the speeds and service has not been as advertised. I constantly have latency issues. There have been multiple service outages, and the tech support is very hard to get in contact with. Sadly this has not been the experience I had hoped for switching to fiber. Less stable, lower performance and poor customer service so far.

What a joke this is. They said it would be fall of 2022 when they could install. It is now summer of 2024. Ive been waiting to do some cement work because the area I plan on cementing will completely cover the route of the line to my house. To make things easier for everyone, I wanted to know if I could install some conduit or an electrical box before I cement it all in. Their answer was you will be contacted by an installer when it is time to install and you can discuss the route of the line then. Im not waiting another 10 years for them to get around to us to install this line! Im cementing it all in now! Good luck trying to figure out where to run the line now.

Just signed up for GigabitNow starting Dec 22, 2023, but they charged my credit card starting from Jan 15, 2023 all the way to Aug 14, 2023. I’ve called twice on Dec 28 and Dec 29. They indicated they need to open a case to investigate with no ETA when it will be resolved. The first customer service rep, Kyle was friendly, but the second, Rachel, was rude showing no empathy and non-apologetic. It seems, until they are able to resolve this, I have to pay 7 months worth of service where I was not even a customer. What they should do is to reverse the charges immediately while they investigate the cause of the erroneous billing. $420 is a lot of money. It’s 7 months of funds I can use for other needs. I may need to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges if GigabitNow doesn’t resolve this soon. This is way too much headache. It is not a good start of a relationship building with a customer.Update: Jan 6, 2024. I can confirm Rachel called me back after 3 hours on Dec. 29 to inform me they had made a mistake and refunded me. On this second conversation, Rachel was much more friendly. Later, on Jan 3, 2024, Bailey, GigabitNows Regional Manager in California called me as a follow up to apologize and explain the mistake. In addition, Bailey credited me for one free month of service to compensate for my troubles. As a result of their post customer care, I decided to update this review from one star to 4 stars.

Multiple outages. Every month there is an outage which last more than an hour. Called customer care and after being on hold for 30+ minutes I was told they had escalated my case and I would be getting a call back. And its been almost two months since then. Gigabit Now is trying really hard to get their customers to switch back to old ISP.

My community HOA contract with Gigabit now as new internet provider in Fullerton.The connection is unstable and downloading speed constantly at 25-35mbps. When its good, it can bump up to 200-300mbps.But its so unstable and tech support line took forever to get someone to answer you( just answer, not fix).I hope I can give zero star!!!!!

Garbage all around! Customer service is ineffective and worthless with promises to send technicians that never show or call. When the internet is up it’s slow, choppy and frequently disconnects. DO NOT USE THIS Company!!!!

Been a customer for over a year. GigabitNow is a good service at a fair price. Up and down speeds are exactly as advertised and customer service is pleasant to work with. Compared to cable, GigabitNow offers much better value for your money.

I signed up 2 months ago...sent a couple of emails, called, and went online to find out about my service installation....and NOTHING...just think, if this is what happens when youre signing up as a new customer, what the heck happens when youre an existing customer and need help because you have no internet. Im going with an established company and staying far away from this joke of a company UPDATE: ok, I changed to 4 stars after being contacted by GigabitNow, Why? Well, they did actually reach out to me over a week before I wrote the original review to schedule an install. Unfortunately, their caller ID did not say Gigabit Now and it was from an area code in Los Angeles and I live in Orange County and thought it was just another scam caller. All cleared up so Ill give them another shot...BTW, they are creating a whole new internet system from scratch...from laying fiber in the streets to then bringing to your home...so Im cutting them a little slack.

My internet went down at beginning of the long weekend and their level 1 tech support couldnt help and told me they would have level 2 tech to call me and help resolve the situation. Next day no call, so I call back and was told level 2 tech will call after 9:00AM. No calls. So I call back in afternoon and tech name Alex who claims to be the manager and is the highest authority and they cant do anything till Tuesday as its long weekend. This company is in service business and actually running like Monday to Friday corporate business. No support over the weekend. I will be looking for new service provider soon.
