This is a perfect shop for Chico!The Staff & Owners are very nice and knowledgeable about their minerals and gems. And the Quality is more then A++. I travel and see a lot of shops and always enjoy this shop.

I love this place! My sister, mom, and I came here for the first time a few weeks ago. We each chose a few crystals and checked out. They have great prices, amazing crystals, and the employees are so nice! Needles to say we have been back since and talk about it all the time.

Edited to add:Thank you for the response to my review and the offer for a discount! Sorry to hear an employee was not feeling well. We are not locals and thought the metered parking was information worth sharing, as parking availability can factor into the decision to visit a business.Original review:We arrived just after 5:30 pm on a Friday evening and found a gate closed and padlocked shut in front of the door, though a sign on the door clearly stated they were open until 7:00. With gas prices as high as they are, I feel ripped off that I drove there and could not get in during their claimed business hours, and I resent that the sign is not accurate. There is metered street parking only.

This place is awesome! The woman working was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Very high vibration, quality crystals. They have a lot to choose from, Id recommend giving yourself a good amount of time to browse their wonderful selection.

What a great store! My girlfriend is a rock and mineral fanatic and they have so much selection here. Ever looking for something you just cant find in any other gem shop? They probably have it here. Also have fun novelty cut rocks here. Great friendly helpful staff, will be coming back here for sure!

This store is absolutely amazing! I went in for the first time today for my birthday and was floored by the collection they were selling. I walked out with $100 worth of crystals and they are worth every penny. Amazing staff, good vibes, and beautiful crystals & rocks! Definitely come here if youre a collector and/or wanting crystals for spiritual work.

The girl working was so sweet and answered all our questions, the shop was beautiful!!! Didnt think Chico has another shop like it. Definitely better than all the others Ive been to. This place... Wow... One of the greatest rock shops Ive been to (although I havent been to many) the staff were absolutely wonderful and(Im not saying they will do the same for you) but they gave me two specimen on the house!a small little smokey quartz and a beautiful flouride. If I could give a higher review I would. I personally love the little mystery bags that they have. I got a $100,$30,$20 one and I would say I got 2 or 3 times what I paid for. I think they are great for someone who isnt as experienced (like me) and doesent know what to choose Absolutely wonderful store, great vibes, great looks, great in general.

Visited the Geo biz booth on Thurs market--very impressed with the young people tending the sales, esp the tall guy, natural born salesman...Spent more than I planned and it was fun!! Highly recommend, and I dont even know them but they were friendly and cool!

I saw this business at the recent Gem & Mineral Show in Chico and finally had a chance to pop in to their storefront last week! What a beautiful place. It has showcase vibes, yet you still feel welcome. There is quite a variety of gorgeous specimens ranging from big to small, including jewelry. I ended up purchasing a beautiful Flourite tower at a goodprice. Ill be back! 👍👍

They have the best selection of raw and polished stones. Im a particular fan of the carvings, but this place really has everything you need to expand a crystal collection based in your love of science, or metaphysical studies.

The specimens in this store are beautiful. I just wish some of the staff was a bit better trained & did not need to look on the internet to answer my questions. However, everyone I have encountered has been polite, very helpful, & always willing to find answers for me.

So cool on the inside, BUT I will not buy another cluster with a price tag on it directly again. I bought an Amethyst cluster and the price tag got put on the front of the crystal kind of in the crystals and when I lifted the price tag, it had a gum like adhesive on it, I didnt mind that it was on the bottom too because it was easier to get off but in the crystals? I had to sit there and pick the adhesive out of the crystals crevices.

Geology Rocks! & Minerals is a great place to find most types of stones your looking for, from natural to processed. If they dont have something, they are still good to ask for something youre looking for and theyll try finding it. They found me a quartz ball and were really great about making sure they found the right one. Give them a visit, their showroom is awe inspiring.

This place is amazing!!! The people are very well educated and the customer service is beyond and above the threshold. My children love the one on one conversations they have with the owner on learning of what the mineral or the rock is made of, the meaning, the effect and everything intel of how it comes from the earth thru the process to his shop. All who work there take a deep interest in not just selling the product but educating us of how the earth is AMAZING in making these beautiful minerals and rocks!!!!
