Arriving with little more than a broken laptop and anxiety, Alex helped us out immensely. He was both knowledgeable and friendly. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes.

I wanted to get a cell phone to replace at least 1 of my lost/stolen cell phones and I was only checking out the Motorola G Play cell phone and I was informed about their cell phones are unlocked phones and I checked out several other cell phones and I got print outs on the cell phones that interested me and I was surprised at how many I liked and wanted to buy and the sales guy was very helpful and kind and most of all very patient with me.

November 18, 2023, 11:15 AM, Best Buy Citrus Heights store. To be fair I have had more positive good experiences at this location than negative.Unfortunately not today. I went into the Geek Squad area where there was one person being helped at the counter, and I was the only one person in line waiting to get help. I’m a total tech Best Buy member.The guy at the counter never acknowledged me while I was waiting. After the customer left I continued to wait as a professional courtesy as I realize there may be some paperwork to finish prior to being available to assist me as the next customer in line. At this point with no customer at the counter, the employee at the counter starts to talk into his speaker to another employee, and starts to converse with another employee in the service area. I still have not been acknowledged. When I am asked to come up, I tell him I have two matters as a total tech customer. He quickly tells me what they do there and appears to make an attempt to discourage me and get me away from his area. I was asking to set up an appointment to get my Apple Car Play purchased at Best Buy repaired. He was negative and abrupt and to me it was clear he did not want to help me. He lacked basic customer service skills, he was awkward, and he had no fundamental social skills. He needs a lot of work and shouldn’t be at the counter engaging with customers. He should be in a back room counting beans 🫘 or taking inventory without customer contact.

In store customer service was great. I was probably a little difficult at first having had issues with another repair company before coming here but the team at this facility did a great job and explained everything they were doing very thoroughly. Totally appreciate the work and customer service. Recommend this location for any laptop repairs forsure.

Worst experience. I scheduled an appointment, brought my HP laptop in that was processing slow. When I got there, they have their service prices posted, which are PRICEY. The kid at the counter who obviously has more knowledge than I do with computers, was the LEAST BIT HELPFUL, if you want any information get ready to pull teeth! Unless you ask specific questions they aren’t giving any useful information other than recommending you pay for their service! Not to mention the kid LAUGHED IN MY FACE when asking him questions.I was recommended to get a solid state drive, after a tech in the back checked to see what was using so much memory he took the bottom of my laptop off to see if adding 8gb of RAM to the laptop would help. The recommendation for an upgrade to a SSD stuck. Not a cheap price either. I took my laptop home to think it over, the price I was quoted I might as well have gotten a new laptop!When I took my laptop out of my bag I noticed that THE TECH LOST A SCREW, so now there’s an open hole in the bottom of my laptop! The TECH BROKE THE RUBBER STRIP on the bottom, the other strip was also DAMAGED and not properly fitting back in place. THEY DID NOT INFORM ME THAT THEY DAMAGED MY DEVICE.Photos attached.I do NOT recommend this Geek Squad location, they have no respect for your device, your questions, or their quality in customer service or work.

I have a membership with Best Buy, and even that membership didn’t get me a discount or anywhere with my iPhone repair… this place is a joke, and I hope they like so many large box stores go out of business. Why spend the money on a membership or at this place when I can take my phone to apple for the same cost, and it’s faster. Sorry geek squad but you’re basically pointless… also, good luck calling the actual store…

Run as fast as you can AWAY from the Best Buy at Birdcage. If I could I would give this store a big fat ZERO!! It was absolutely the worst customer service experience EVER!! Jonathan quoted a price for an iPad repair and I agreed to a price. He then tried to charge me double the price that I agreed to. I asked him to check the price and the Geek Squad manager Kell came over and he was worthless. Hopefully the store manager Sabrina sees this review and gets rid of these two buffoons.

I had an appointment at 5:40 pm to have my computer checked out as my computer had been hacked. I arrived early as I came from work, so I thought maybe I would be seen earlier. Yes Vicki took care of me right away and fixed the problem quickly! And she showed me some things I had no idea about these things. She was wonderful and made me very very happy. I will be sure to ask for her if I need Geek Squad assistance again! Thank you Vicki!!!! And Vicki I take care of your ‘parking ticket’. LOL

The team at Citrus Heights Geek Squad are professionals. I was totally impressed when they fixed my Pc. I thought it was toast. Turns out just the usb-c port was fried on the front panel. They put everything in a new case and I was good to go. Thanks for being awesome.
