I bought Total Tech last month from Alex since it covers repairs, both physical or software issues. I asked if I could have my other computer fixed from home, has a physical problem, and he said it doesnt matter where you bought it as long as you have total tech. So I did. Now, a month later, theyre saying that its not covered by the plan. And that it only covers any device you buy after total tech which is very confusing and misleading. Very disappointed. We seeked helped and he only suggested to call tech support or nothing.

I went around 1230p today. I ask the Geek Squad associate inside of Best Buy if they would be able to look at my tablet because it only charges to 87%. He (the associat said, it could be the tablet theres nothing they can do or the tablet may need a new battery), the Geek Squad associate appeared irritated by my inquires as i asked how can i get it fixed. He said not here as he walked away saying i would need to fine the battery for my tablet first and somewhere else maybe able to help.Im not extremely tech savvy but i had the charger i bought the previous week at the same Best Busy and the old charger and the table. The sssociate came off as disinterested in helping me with my inquiries. The worst customer service ive had had about tech devices!!!

Beware. Geeksquad and Bestbuy are like the automobile mechanics that try to scam you. They outsource your device repair and send it out of state. My device was returned with no repairs and, with cosmetic damages that were not there before. My neighbor who is an elderly man was also scammed by making him purchase unnecessary security systems.

I would rate less than 1 star as they couldnt even schedule my appointment correctly, after booking it a week in advance. Not only did they not have me scheduled correctly, it took over 2 hours (and speaking with 4 other associates) to speak with a supervisor, who put me on hold until the call automatically hung up. In essence, they blew me off. If possible, I will never use Best Buy again if I can help it, and certainly never call on the Geek Squad for in home assistance.

Dont waste your time. You need to purchase a one year membership for 250 before they will look at your issue. Not happening.
