I have never left a bad review for any business, because I get it…I’m a worker too and stuff happens, but I am genuinely confused on the service they offer here, I have to call to make an appointment with someone over the phone (after no remote service is offered I couldn’t even make a reservation online), and that person tells me they can AT LEAST look into my PC to determine what’s going on at the location, I show up…only for them to tell me I need someone to come to my house to look and see what the issue is, after not even looking into my PC (we only got to the start screen), the worker only turned it on and told me there wasn’t anything more they could do…shouldn’t everything you need be at Best Buy BECAUSE ITS BEST BUY??? And even when I asked the worker how exactly was it an “at home issue” he told me…”honestly I don’t know”… I honestly don’t know what the point of the “Geek Squad” is.

Tried calling ahead of a schedule to see if they had the part for my repair. They must not have the number for the in store geek squad listed because they couldn’t confirm if the part was in store. I went for my appointment and they didn’t have the part but also said they couldn’t order it. It was just an iPhone 12 pro screen. I don’t blame the team there but Best Buy / Geek Squad as an organization. I just had to end up going to apple directly to do my repair.

Called the IT geek squad to get help on my graphics card and he told me they fix GPUs, made an appointment and now they say they dont fix computer parts. Wasted my time and hope. So for people out there dont make any appointments regarding computer parts.

They dont know what theyre doing with PCs, and honestly dont have any parts in stock either. I asked them to fix my heat sink, and they took the still broken one, put it back in the rig, and didnt even try to screw it in; just left it hanging by a cord and some thermal paste.They were kind and didnt charge, but I WANTED to pay them for services which they apparently couldnt provide.

ZERO customer service! Went in with an appointment, the guy that was there didn’t seem to be wanting to help at all! He said he didn’t know anything about what could be done, we explained him what was going on and he acted like he didn’t cared. I usually have good things to say about best buy but this guy deserves to be home and not working “helping” people! Geek squad should be about helping customers, we didnt go there wanting to get the PC fixed for free but i guess they didn’t want our money.

Made an appointment with them at 12:40 PM to get my iPhone XR looked at. I arrived at 12:20 PM When I got there, the associate told me they cannot support Apple products at this time and suggested I go to the other Best Buy location nearby. No problem. I asked him if he could transfer my appointment to that location for me since theres something wrong with their systems if they allow Apple appointments they cant support at his location. He said yes, but the closest appointment would be at 2:20 PM. I couldnt do it because I have to go back to work.Fix your appointment system with Apple, Geek Squad.

They don’t repair laptops. Wish they advertised it that way on their Best Buy website. What’s the point of saying they can repair computers if they don’t. Useless.

I brought my Iphone 8 here to replace the battery and when I got it back the vibration functionality no longer worked on my phone. It was working fine prior to my visit. I was able to get my money back but they would not offer compensation to repair the damaged vibration on my phone. The fix would actually cost more than the battery replacement. I actually lost money bringing my phone for repair here. This really hurts me because Im no longer able to test any vibration functionality on my phone for IOS development for this device if not fixed. If you have any apple product I would recommend just bringing it somewhere else.

Took a Mac computer in to replace a hard drive and they did but when I took the computer home, the monitor wouldnt turn on, the fan was significantly louder than before I took it in, and the screen of the monitor was not completely closed all the way. Took it back in and they said that the wire to light up the screen was probably loose and that it would be fixed by the next day at the latest. Three days later and theres still no one assigned to the computer for a supposedly quick fix. It takes forever to get a hold of anyone on the phone and when I finally do get someone on the line, they offer nothing helpful and make more false promises of my computer being fixed by tomorrow at the latest.

We bought a new receiver. They installed and hooked up laser disc, DVD along with the other stuff we have. My man is happy!!
