Gary represented me in the recent sale of my townhouse. He was very professional and handled everything smoothly from beginning to end. Gary knows exactly how to properly market a property in conventional and social media. In a market where it is generally taking 45 to 60 days to get an acceptable offer, we had multiple offers within 3 days and were in escrow within a week.It was the first time I had sold a house, and Gary made the process relatively painless. There never were any surprises. As we proceeded through the somewhat complicated escrow process, he prepared me in advance for each step so that nothing came as a surprise. We had minor mold issues, and the very day the report came out identifying them, Gary had bids from two mold remediation companies to eliminate the mold. The company I chose was able to start the following day and by the time they finished, Gary had a contractor ready to immediately begin to restore the areas where they had worked. As a result, we met our target closing date and I exceeded the amount I had expected to clear from the sale.I would recommend Gary to anyone wanting to be represented by a skilled professional to sell their home.

Gary is by far the best and most attentive broker that I have ever worked with. From the first time I reached out to him, he immediately called me back, and throughout the process he was very responsive, attentive to every detail, and went above and beyond to prepare the property for sale and bring the deal to closure. He knew the market extremely well and gave advice on pricing, staging, improvements and necessary updates to move the property. I live on the East Coast, so the transaction was bi-coastal and Gary handled all of the requirements, like handymen, inspections, and other on-the-ground appointments, on my behalf. We had a delay on the buyers side, but he kept calm throughout the process and we closed the transction. I would recommend Gary without hesitation for his professionalism, knowledge, extreme attention to detail, and working hard to get the deal done. Truly the expert for the West LA market. He secured 2 offers within the first few days of being on the market by tapping into his extensive contact list and relentless marketing strategies. For situations completely out of Garys control, the unit fell out of escrow two times but the amazing thing is that after each time escrow fell through, Gary secured an even better offer, ultimately being that the final offer that was accepted was far more than any of the previous ones. A few years ago, I purchased a condo on the Sawtelle in which Gary was representing the seller. Gary was professional and knowledgeable and made me really comfortable purchasing this condo. It was a great decision and I thoroughly enjoyed living in that home.Recently, I had to move for a new job and I decided that it was time to sell. My previous agent ended up moving to Indiana, so I needed to find another agent to help me sell. I remembered Gary and I immediately gave him a call. Gary went to work right away to help me prepare for the sale.The sale of my condo has been incredibly tough, facing a nightmare scenario caused by a unresponsive HOA. Gary was able to find me multiple buyers who offered over asking, but HOAs poor communication prevented one of the sales and forced it to go with a back up offer for the same price. Gary was incredibly patient with the HOA during this time, and helped facilitate a lot of the communication necessary to unblock the sale of my condo.We just closed earlier this week and I have been really happy with the sale price I was able to get. Gary impressed us right away with his thorough preparation for our first meeting, complete with a 1.5 inch think binder. He advertised our unit widely, thoroughly, and expertly, using a professional photographer. He gave advice when asked -- always sound and professional. He did advise us to adopt a strategy of listing low to draw multiple offers, to end with one above the listing price, but we elected to list at what we were hoping for. After a couple of low feelers, we did in the end get the offer we wanted -- in less than two months. Wed use him again and recommend his highly.

I feel lucky that on the day I happened to walk into Coldwell Banker to start my search for a home in Santa Monica, it was Gary who was on duty. I have bought and sold several homes over the years, but, I have never had (no hyperbole here) a realtor who I felt was more in my corner or who had my back. In todays environment people, myself included, question the need for even having a realtor.
