Disappointing to say the least. The dentist seemed nice and knew what he was talking about but unfortunately the lady that does the billing is only interested in making money. They never tried to work with me and consider my financial situation, they just wanted to do as much work as possible. They try and push a loan on you at some ridiculous 30% interest lol. The dentist was good, the lady that does the billing is the absolute worst.

Too many issues with this office. Push expensive things not covered by insurance instead of basic care, offer a high interest 3rd party payment plan and dont talk about cost and options with the patients. I took a half day off for a visit, and they didnt put it in the computer, half a day wasted, and they want a 48 hour cancellation to charge you.. stay away!

This is one of the worst place to go stay away from them they take insurance but the co pay are a lot more then what you will pay with out insurance somewhere else

Dr. Galvan has been my trusted dentist since 2008. Ive recommended him to my friends and family because of his professionalism, honesty and great work. His new location looks phenomenal and relaxing, and his staff are always courteous, efficient and friendly.

Before I even set foot in their office, everything leading up to the visit has already set the tone for a stress-free appointment. Scheduling is easy, and the text messaging feature is so helpful when I cant get on the phone.Their new office space in Vallejo is clean and beautiful. I even had a lovely view from the treatment chair! Everyone, from front office personnel to back office and Dr. Galvan himself, provides careful attention and care to each patient. Ive had more involved work done in the past beyond my regular cleanings (e.g., root canal) and they always make sure to keep me informed throughout the process, relieving any uncertainty or discomfort during these longer procedures. I gladly travel across a bridge a few times a year knowing I can trust Galvan Dental Care when it comes to my oral health.

I recently looked up on yelp to find a good dental and by far this is one of the best dental office I have been to. The staffs are very nice and courteous. They are very polite and takes good care of you. Especially Dr. Galvan who is very good and knowledgeable at what he does. He constantly ask you if you are okay throughout the procedures. I had a crown prep and filling to do which he worked really hard to ensure that I was in less pain as possible. His assistance was also very good and she was so nice and helpful. So glad I found this dental office with who take such good care of their patience. I would highly recommend this place.

This practice delivers the highest quality dental care. The dentists, dental assistants and staff are painstakingly attentive to dental and overall health. Everyone is friendly and polite and I get the feeling that they enjoy their jobs and each other. My only complaint is that, even though I have some dental insurance, I still have to pay significant out of pocket costs for some things. As with everything wages, social security and insurance reimbursement is not keeping up with inflation in dental costs.

Ok I never do reviews but I think I found my new second home for the next year. My teeth are in the worst state right now.. so I’m sure I’ll be coming here a lot to get the help I need. I called on a Saturday afternoon in so much pain sitting outside of a closed western dental (that said open online 🙄) crying my eyes out… the front desk was so kind and helped me get in for an emergency checkup with Dr. Galvan. They even took a look at me after office hours. God knows I needed the help! My gums and jaw was swollen so badly I didn’t know what to do. I was so grateful for his informational advice. Since I have severe dental anxiety he gladly listened and actually heard me. Most dentist don’t care about nerves imo.. but he prescribed me something to help with the pain/infection. It’s Only been two days but my jaw is 80% less swollen now! I have yet to get any work done by him but I’m sure I’ll be safe in his hands simply because for ONCE a dentist explained what’s to come and educated me on the process. He even heard me out when I said I’m very scared and anxious about being in the chair without judgement and that really means a lot to me. Coming from a long history of dental trauma and pain therefore avoiding the dentist completely I finally feel kinda safe? Too soon to tell.. but I know there is a long road ahead but I’m grateful for everyone in this office that welcomed me and is willing to help me get my smile back someday 🙏🏽

Dr Galvan was recommended by a co-worker. They are pretty amazing and work with me as far as scehduling and my share of cost break down. If I have questions...I ask! They are always more then welcome to explain and Dr Galvan does excellent work. My family and I have been going here for years now.

Dr. Galvan and his team have been awesome with my mother-in-law. She got a full set of new dentures. She had to have bone grafting and build up so her new set would look and feel good. They are very patient, caring and respectful from front office to back. She just got the new dentures and they look great! You can see her upper front teeth much better now and her smile is beautiful. It’s been a long wait with the procedures, healing and the temps until the final product buts she’s VERY HAPPY with the new dentures. Thank you Galvan Dental!
