It’s a good park, always clean. Been bringing my daughter here since she was 1. But just a heads up be aware of this vehicle. It had two girls with two little girls. One of the girls was wearing blue scrubs with a logo that looked like it had a flag with hands and said Mag medical school. My daughter was playing in the sand with a few other kids. when the girl in scrubs approached my fiancé asking her somewhat personal questions. Then my lady called me to stand next her as she felt weird and uncomfortable. As soon as i walked to stand with my lady she walked away right away. After a while we decided to sit down on a bench meanwhile my daughter was riding her scooter with another little girl near some flowers. When we sat down we noticed the girl in the scrubs was pointing at us and talking to the girl she came with. Then she began approaching other parents there continuing to point at my fiancé and myself. There was a gentleman sitting across us and confronted the guy if the little girl that was playing with my child was his and to keep a better eye her. that he wasn’t doing his job as a parent. Then said that “ well keep an eye on her bc those people look interested in her “ while pointing at us. I then stood up to ask if there were any issues but quickly walked away flipped me off and seemed like she was taking photos of my daughter, my fiance and myself.

Beautiful park nice big playground for the kids .We went for a birthday party under a canopy house a lil to pricey to booked and I heard theyre strick on throwing a party no jumpers allowed or taqueros . Other than that its nice to just go hangout at the park but I dont recommend a birthday party there since they have strick rules and way to expensive to book.

This is my favorite place in Downey. Because it is walk distance where I stay with a baby. We almost every morning visit here and have great time. We walk and play together. It’s really peaceful place.

This park is very beautiful and clean besides the shelter we rented,shelter 1. It was for my daughters 1st bday, the shelter had trash in the floor I was a bit upset because we didn’t have anything to sweep it with. The parking gets busy on weekends since they have baseball games there so make sure you get there early if you plan a party, also the bathrooms were pretty far from shelter 1 if you decide to have elderly. Bathrooms some kind of clean and workers are on top of it which it’s a good thing. Other than that is beautiful park and the kids playground is nice and clean.

This park is a great place to get so many fun activities done. You can find a running/walking trail, swings, basketball & tennis courts, baseball. Theres also gazebos and grills where you can bbq. This is the place to bring family for relaxing, exercise, passing time, playing games and have a fun.

People the come are so rude in this park. My boys were playing tennis and only because they look small this guys come to us and say if i was using it I said my sons are and they said that’s not tennis and kick us out trying to make us feel bad. I guess that office couldn’t do anything but that’s so rude of this people.

This is a great neighborhood park in a nice part of Downey. Beautiful walking trail, tennis courts, and rugged outdoor exercise equipment. Bathrooms are clean and theres NO GRAFFITI OR TRASH anywhere. This is an ideal place for family picnics or just a relaxing walk. Nice baseball fields too.

Awesome park for the kids, has 2 separate play areas for the different age groups and a good amount of swings and slides. and has a fitness section for the teens and adults plenty of open space considering its location. Very modern design is present throughout.Oh and from what I can tell there is almost always an ice cream truck near by or soon to be. Short on parking but Im sure it can be found on the nearby streets.

Love this park I take my one year old son twice a week. They have a big kids playground and a smaller toddler playground. The only thing I didnt like is that I saw two big roaches by the playground that kind of freaked me out a bit. Other than that awesome place to go for a run and take the kids to have some fun. Playground is also a few steps away from the parking lot.

Fun fact about this park if you call the main number to this park. They will let you know what huts are reserved and which are not. The ones that are not reserved are first come first serve. So be ready to be there at crack of dawn for these babies. I was up at 730am setting up so no one would take them. Great park awesome place for kids just please clran up after yourselves. The staff are super friendly shot out to taat staff that helped us out we appreciate u.

Its a nice park with multiple playgrounds, basket ball and tennis courts. There is a great walking path throughout the park for humans and pets. There are also BBQs and picnic tables with shaded seating. The bathrooms are clean!

My husband and I attended a short play held at the museum. The live art was interesting and thought provoking. The smaller size of the museum made more a more intimate performance. We enjoyed both the venue and entertainment. A recent visit to the museum website revealed other unique events. I wish I lived closer.

As a family, we used to go to this park as a kid. We had many Father’s Day picnic here with family and friends. Good memories...but now it’s more beautiful than ever!!! We love the improvements made and now my wife and I enjoy this park weekly....

Beautiful park! Two large playgrounds for smaller children and older children. There is also exercise equipment and lots of sporting events on the weekend. Restrooms are clean. Plenty of parking. Tennis courts, basketball court, and baseball fields. Walking trail its great too. Many ppl walking their dogs (leash is required).

I just moved in the area and I was searching for a local Park where I can run/walk. This was the closes to my house, today when I visited this park although it was a bit dark I did like the walking trail its a nice size they have tennis court, basketball court, a area with workout equipment, and they Kids playground of course. The only negative thing in my opinion is the parking lot and that because its small!

Its on the smaller side, but it seems well maintained. Theres exercise equipment and a track to run. A couple baseball fields, tennis courts, a couple playground areas and several areas to grill. I havent met the staff here, so I cant comment on that.I do know it closes at 10:00pm, which is better than other parks that close at sunset. Recently, the cops are fairly consistently checking between 10:00-11:00pm to see that people are out of the park after closing.For those that play pogo, this is an ex raid location. It also has several spots to spin (I believe 3 without including the gym).

My 3 yr old son calls this the cool park. We take a drive from Paramount because it seems safer and he seems to enjoy this one more than our local parks. I am not exactly sure what is so special but you can feel a difference.

Bathrooms dont get checked,very dirty. Toilet paper on the floor, feces on the wall, no toilet paper to use, cobwebs on the wall, sink doesnt look like its been cleaned no towels to dryer hand and the smell was awful. The park is clean and the kids playing equipment is new.

This is my kids fave park! They have a kid friendly exercise station outside by the playgrounds. So parents can work out while watching their kids play or (there is an age limit posted) the kids can come over and join in the fun. We go at night so hardly anyone else is there. The kids play ALL over the gym since its their favorite. Lol Shhhh, dont tell! 😁

I absolutely love this park and I have personally seen the city clean the kids play ground and it’s dog park friendly just make sure you clean after your fur baby 🤗 two laps around is a mile and the trail is dirt don’t recommend wearing white shoes.

When I decided to get back into a walking routine, three things about the location were important to me: somewhere I wouldnt be accosted by a creep, attacked by a dog or hit by a car. And I found all three in abundance at the Furman Park Walking Trail. I walk in the morning anywhere between 7:30 am and 9:00 am and Ive always found a high volume of walking traffic that makes me feel safe from any stranger danger, Ive yet to see a scary pet among the dogs being walked and Im obviously not going to run into a car on a walking trail ... or vice-versa.

While others were fighting traffic and waiting for tee times in Hilton Head, we were able to experience one of the best kept golf secrets in South Carolina . Located off the beaten path, about an hour from Hilton Head or Historic Savannah, iIts a quiet drive up 321 and and over to 601 into Furman. Penny Branch is a lovely family owned golf course which has hosted many celebrities due to its first rate conditions and fairways. Its a challenging and engaging course with reasonable cost. Best of all is the service and the feeling that you are welcomed and treated like family. The drive is definitely worth the drive and the play. Dont miss this hidden gem!!!

Beautiful park. But a lot of people misuse the basketball court and tennis courts by doing exactly what is prohibited of doing. Its so annoying when you are trying to play tennis and people are in there playing soccer. Others are roller skating in the basketball court while people are waiting to play basketball. Its really sad when people dont follow the rules.

Furman Park is a great park. It is safe, and very clean. But there is one thing that can be improved. The swings; there used to be four of them and now there is only one. It is really hard to get on the swings without waiting for a while. And the kids get really impatient. Other than that, the park is acceptable.

The staff was great but the kitchen was dirty . I originally went to see the place 3 weeks ahead and there was food in the ovenThe refrigerator was very dirty also the kitchen was just filthy. I asked if it was going to be clean and they guaranteed it would be. When we walked in it was just has it was 3 wks prior.food still in the oven. When you have a timed event you do not have time to start clean .We did not use the kitchen. I would never put food in or on a stove so dirtythe event room was find . thank god we brought crockpot s . It was a baby shower everyone has fun at a baby shower. Once again the staff was great they removed the food as soon I. Found them as they were also taking care of the park. Very apologetic.I would use the place again but would go a day ahead to make sure things were clean. I had originally planned to but the time got away from me

Since I’ve made all the changes this park it has become a lot better there is now a walking trail as well as a workout area and many different picnic areas to choose from the parking is halfway decent but I can fill up if there is baseball and soccer games going on at the same time.

I love how the little kids playground is fenced so you can make sure your kids wont run off without you seeing them. They remodeled a few years ago. Has more activities and bathrooms are available all week.

Let me just say that the remodeling in terms of play ground, bathrooms, and adding more canopies was beyond great! The only thing I didnt like was the fact that the mens bathroom was remodeled but still has 1 stall!!! Really??! And for that reason I give it 4 stars.

Bathrooms clean, it is by a busy street but it is residential, two sets of playground (one for the little ones and for the big ones), sand at both playgrounds -which can be a negative for some people, walking trail,tennis courts, and workout machines.
