2024-07-01 07:08:36TWENTY DOLLARS PER DAY FOR PARKING! Spoiler alert: you won’t hear about it until it shows up on your bill.We stayed the weekend here while visiting for a family wedding. The hotel room was beautiful. There are parking signs everywhere letting students know there is a $10 daily rate (it’s across the street from the university). When we checked in, nothing was mentioned about a parking rate. We were given a pass to place on our dashboard in our car to show we were hotel guests. Nothing on the parking pass indicated a daily fee is charged.Everything in the room was what we are familiar with in staying at multiple Marriott’s throughout the years. The biggest disappointment was the iron that leaked water all over the ironing board and the floor. I didn’t have time to call housekeeping to get another one so we just emptied the water from the iron and made the best of what we had.Upon check out, Michael was working the front desk. I brought down the iron so it was taken out of the room. I explained what happened and gave it to Michael. He put it aside and said “I’ll make sure it gets to engineering”. He appeared as if he just couldn’t be bothered with any ironing mishaps. He checked us out and gave us a receipt. On the receipt I noticed TWO parking charges $20 for each night totaling $40. When I told Michael nothing was mentioned when we checked in about the parking fees he appeared uninterested. When I asked to speak with a manager, he said it was Sunday and no one was available to do anything until tomorrow.Unbelievable.Not the experience we are familiar with when staying at Marriott hotels. I don’t recommend staying here. Next time, we’ll find another hotel to stay at.

2024-03-17 08:50:10Had a very good stay for 8 days here.Service is very good staff are very helpful. Breakfast is good. They offer food options for large group meetings that happens in their big conference rooms. They have everything that conference would need from projectors to mic and nice seating arrangements and food and snack options.Rooms are comfortable for a long duration stay as well. They have ample car parking.Only draw back is there are no super markets near by. Without car it will be very difficult to go around.

2024-05-31 21:24:33What a lovely hotel that is very close and convenient for a staycation. Beautiful pool and grounds. Plenty of friendly staff and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Easy convenient parking for a fair price. Great location for access to plenty of things to do, and enjoyed a walk around the CSUF campus. I was sad to learn that they no longer have hot food in the Concierge Lounge, but I will still definately return to this Marriott.

2024-02-20 20:13:19Stayed here for 5 nights and 6 days. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wish the room cleaning service was better. The rooms were not cleaned thoroughly on daily basis and the beds were not comfortable. I see effort put in to “renovate” the films, but it still seemed very old including switches, AC unit, and the bed. Not too bad, but not satisfied.

2024-02-19 17:41:21Cleanness super good, prices are good a little on the higher side considering the extra parking fee. The rooms and hotel are spacious and overall I was pleased, the only problem I encountered was my dogs. Be careful when checking with a pet all the way at the bottom of the website it warns you about dogs (which I didn’t see). This was a big issue to me they basically opened the option to leave because my dogs where barking, honestly it ruined my trip if you allow dogs into a place you would expect their behavior as well. I have been to other dog friendly hotels in fresco CA and Sacramento CA. Nothing like this one they give you extra care for your pet as well. Don’t come to this hotel if you are bringing pets, they will also ask you to come “remove” or calm down your dog immediately or they will call the dog pound. It’s really ridiculous just don’t allow dogs into the hotel

2024-02-09 17:00:00For a hotel that often costs almost 200$ a night, the fact that delivery people are not allowed to bring orders up to these expensive rooms is ridiculous. Additionally, why not have the front desk or other employees run the orders to the rooms themselves. I stayed here last summer and orders were brought upstairs at that time. I will literally never stay here again. If you can avoid this location, do it!

2024-02-01 19:17:00Kudos to the Service staff...but the administrative staff is useless, particularly the finance manager. Tried for days to get minor changes to my bill corrected and was met with a curious mix of lies, delays, platitudes, obfuscation and ignorance. Numerous messages to the finance manager were not returned. Do not recommend and will never stay here again.
