I had probably the best experience on my dental cleaning today at Fuller Smiles! Front desk ladies greeted me as I walked in, I was called in fast to get the cleaning started. I got my x-rays taken fast as well as the first step toward this process. It was my first time with the male doctor that helped me out today, he was super nice and even had a good compliment on my teeth before the negatives which made me feel good still. My cleaning ended with another assistant for flossing and the best thing about her is she showed me exactly how to use floss sticks that I had never used before. I have been to this location for many years since the change of name and management. Even though its a drive for me I would not change dentist because of bad experiences Ive had in my past with other dentists that are just trying to get money from the insurance with things I didnt even need. This place is amazing! & would HIGHLY recommend this place!! Once you try it you wont settle for less! : )

I had a dental emergency while traveling. My son recommended Fuller Smiles. I called at 8 am and was told to come right in. 3 hours later I had my broken tooth treated and my temporary crown on...as an add in patient !!! Dr Ho was excellent, with a professional and calm demeanor. She explained things well. Her staff was friendly, capable and kind. I am a Primary Care physician and was very impressed with Dr Ho and this practice. 5 well deserved stars !!!

Hello Everyone! My experience was fantastic from the moment I entered the office. The front end staff greeted and took care of all of my information to ensure everything was up to date. The dental assistances were pleasant informative, energetic, kind, and understanding. The Dr. was phenomenal, he was able to address his concerns with me and was able to recommend his solutions that would be best for the needs of my mouth. I will be going back again soon and will be very happy to keep my pearly whites!

It was my first time visiting this location. I would like to say I greatly appreciate the kindness that was exhibited to me. It started with Jen at the front desk. She was exceptionally kind, pleasant and wonderful. Those types of traits are becoming more rare. I think she is most definitely an asset to this company. I hope she is treated well. Always an extremely positive experience at Fuller Smiles. Dr. Nancy Ho is an excellent dentist. She’s very knowledgeable and meticulous with her work, but more than that she’s warm and makes you feel at ease in the chair, which is helpful for me since I don’t especially like going to the dentist. Would highly recommend.

The staff at Fuller Smiles have been a joy to work with. As someone who has moved to Orange County from being local in Culver, I have continued to make my way back because theyre just that good. The most bizarre dental experience I’ve ever had. I’d estimate the cleaning by the doctor lasted only between 1-2 minutes, followed by a polishing. I can still feel plaque clearly on my teeth. I will be going back to my other dentist, despite a longer commute there.

Fuller smiles and their team did a great job with my procedure many thanks to Maria and Dr. V who helped me. I had a deep cavity that needed a crown after, I felt no pain Dr. V mentioned I might experience the entire process and I am pleased with the final outcome. The placement/color of the crown compared to my surrounding teeth was done with amazing precision that left me happy. Would highly recommend if you have anything that needs to be done you’re in good hands at this establishment.

I first came to this dental practice to see Dr Bruce and always had a good experience. Since it has transitioned to Fuller Smiles I’ve continued to have a positive experience with the Drs and staff. I recently had three cavities filled. I was very anxious about it but Dr B was great, made me feel very comfortable and was gentle throughout the process which I very much appreciated. Ive been going to see Dr Bruce at fuller smiles and its been a great experience. Theyre very prompt where my appointment starts just moments after I arrive. Dr Bruce also looks just like wolverine, so thats cool to have a movie star dentist. After not being to the dentist in over 10 years, I really appreciated that no one shamed or guilted me, and jumped right in to talking through how to help me get back on track. Every staff member was so positive, efficient, friendly, and did a quality job cleaning my teeth. Stabilized the situation. Fully helped me within 24 hours, and I have follow up appt coming. Warning: Most of the 5-star reviews were from when Dr. Bruce independently ran his practice here, before Fuller Smiles bought out his business. This is no longer a dental practice, but a business.I have noticed a significant drop in quality of care since Dr. Bruce left, and it seems that Fuller Smiles is more interested in maximizing profits in conflict with quality. Most of the dentists seem stressed and constantly rushing through procedures.I had a dental implant scheduled, only to be told in the chair that I would have to go to another location to see a specialist with a referral. I had a cleaning also, and compared to previous cleanings with Dr. Bruce, it felt rushed and sloppy. There were no comments or questions about my oral health after the cleaning either.I would have given Fuller Smiles 3 stars as another run-of-the-mill profit interested dental business, but the audacity to buy out Dr. Bruces social media platforms and ratings to pretend to be a 5-star service drops my rating to 1. My whole experience with Fuller Smiles has been sleazy and I caution anybody who is considering this practice.

I was really sketched out by how disorganized they were. I was here the other day and told them I was pregnant, I came back to get a cavity filled at their recommendation the next day, and reminded them I was pregnant, luckily, as they didnt remember and did not have it written down. They had planned to do an x-ray and then they were scrambling deciding what to do instead, debating whether they should do it. Then they left me in the chair with my mouth pried open for at least 10 minutes before releasing me until the doctor came back.Ive never had a cavity before and based on other stories Ive heard about this place, Im not convinced I had one and I worry that they did the procedure unnecessarily..I would avoid. Not coming back. Leaving this review to warn others as I chose this place based on the 5 star reviews. I recommend reading the other 1 star reviews.

I’ve gone here for several years. Was glad to get recommended by someone after I tried 8 dentists in 7 years before this. The primary issue I had with the others was them trying to get me to replace every filling and crown. Dr Bruce is very good about telling you if things will last a while. He doesn’t pressure you into anything but will tell you when they do need to be done. His hygienist is very sweet as are his front office staff who always greet you with a smile. They are very helpful in checking your insurance, helping you make appointments and reminding you of them too. It’s always a very positive experience when I go there. I always leave feeling happy, as if I’ve had a nice visit with friends.

In a town like Los Angeles where beautiful teeth are important, I found him to be the best on the Westside. Ive been a patient of Dr. Bruces for over 10 years. The office has consistently provided excellent quality, low pressure dental work for me throughout that time period, which is what keeps me coming back. I originally showed up with a lot of low quality dental work from my childhood and adolescence that needed fixing and replacing. Dr. Bruce and his staff worked through that process with me and Im happy to have transitioned into more of a maintenance mode with my teeth over the last few years.My last appointment was a cleaning with Dr. Nguyen. She was very polite, clearly explained every step of the work she was doing, and made sure she had my consent before starting each new part of the cleaning. Can highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Bruce now for over 10 years and i have always been extremely happy and satisfied with the service and the level of quality of the work. This is about my most recent experience at Bruce Dental, specifically about my treatment under Dr. Nancy (not sure on spelling) who was filling in for Dr. Bruce while he was out of the office. First, I had to wait for almost 15 minutes by myself before she came to do the post-cleaning evaluation. I asked the dental hygienist how much longer she was going to be and after speaking with her, he told me it could possibly be another 10-15 minutes on top of the time I had already spent waiting! I was never given a reason as to why there was a delay and I did not see her with any other patients. After I told him that I was considering just leaving, she finally came out, didnt even look at my X-rays, and spent a few seconds poking around before declaring that I had a cavity by rubbing some black stuff on her glove and saying that was the decay. Okay, fair enough, I have a cavity but showing it to me on your glove? Her bedside manner, delivery, and tone had a lot to be desired.I was so frustrated by this experience that I immediately sought out a 2nd opinion. Lo and behold, there was the cavity she saw... plus 3 others in between my teeth that my new dentist said could only be seen by reviewing my X-rays, which Dr. Nancy did not do.As an aside, I asked the office to forward my records and they said they would. Unfortunately, my new dentist told me they never received them so I had to pay $150 out of pocket for new pictures. Overall, a very annoying experience that has sadly colored my previously positive experiences with this office.

I had the crown of my tooth crack and fall out only leaving the root. I called Dr. Bruce(and 5 others who couldn’t take me and quoted me for more) and informed him of the emergency. He brought me in within the hour and got me out within the hour of arriving. I had to get a rear tooth removed and he gave me options on either repairing, replacing, or simply removing the tooth. Being that I was on a tight budget I choose to just remove without being hard sold to do other wise. Less than $500. Very kind and friendly doctor. Staff was also accommodating. Good experience.

I find the prices perfect for me since I don’t have dental insurance. They do a terrific job for all my dental needs.

Dr. Bruce is a awesome dentist that doesnt push cosmetic treatments down patients throats (like many others do in Los Angeles). I had a terrible experience with another dentist and treaded cautiously towards this one. Dr. Bruce will work with you, whether the approach is cosmetic, preventative, or conservative and he has great bedside manners in case you get nervous. His kind staff deserves praise too. They are quite busy, so make sure to schedule in advance!

I honestly cant say enough great things about this office. I had immense pain in my molar and already knew I needed a root canal. Im a new patient and saw the great reviews here on Yelp, so gave them a call to see if I could see Dr. Bruce today as the pain was unbearable and they were able to squeeze me in right away. I spoke to Polly, the receptionist and she is so incredibly helpful, professional, and nice. It really makes a difference when they staff cares and is friendly. I was able to walk-in, get an x-ray and the first part of my root canal all in the same day for a few hours, and I am scheduled to go back next week to complete. Dr. Bruce is extremely nice and attentive and made sure my procedure was pain-free and smooth. He let me know what he was doing at every step and even gave me more anesthesia when I felt even the slightest bit of discomfort--both of which I appreciated!!! I LOVE the fact that they have personal flat screen TVs with movies playing to keep your mind occupied. I had never seen the movie Taxi before so that was cool to watch while Dr. Bruce drilled away. Dr. Bruce even called me later that evening to check-in and see how I was. I will be a returning long-time patient!!! Thank you Polly and Dr. Bruce!

I really like this dental practice. I went here recently again for my second cleaning, my dental hygienist did a great job, while also answering all my questions. Also, the front desk and billing staff is great, which to me, make a HUGE difference when patronizing any medical practice. Theyre always polite and personable. I also saw DR. The only reason they get 4/5 stars is because there is no dedicated free parking for this building. I had an appointment with Dr. Bruce on September 9th and they called the day before to reschedule it. I rescheduled it and show up to my appointment in the middle of the work day and they let me know upon arrival, when they could have called in advance, and let me know my insurance is maxed out. The reason my insurance is maxed out is because they were billing Dr. Arshjot Ahuja instead of Dr. Bruce. This made my claim be out of network instead of in network. My insurance has called the office multiple times asking them to fix it. I assumed they did prior to my appointment since they did not mention anything to me. The front desk lady pretty much said its too much paperwork and they arent going to do it. Not only has this cost me money in the past (unknowingly because until I called my insurance asking why I had back claims I owed I had no idea they were billing under the wrong dentist) but now I wasted my time again today. Although Dr. Bruce is an amazing dentist his incompetent staff have forced me to find a new dentist.

They do not do regular clean even when it already agreed. Trying to upsell me on the deep cleaning for over 2400+. Totally bad experience
