I am running the LA Marathon this March and desperately needed to have my feet mapped and get new shoes. Shay helped me out from start to finish! They were absolutely fantastic; they answered all of my questions and gave me lots of great feedback/information on what running is all about! Cannot recommend highly enough- will definitely be going back! Purchased a pair of Glycerin 21s that feel like they were made for me. Thanks Shay!

Amazing experience!!!! They scan your foot for a 3D model and explain arch, ball, heel, in step height. Woa! Very knowledgeable crew! The manager Ryan helped us for over an hour and we were very happy to buy two pairs of shoes, in soles and new laces ! Amazing service! Would definitely recommend!

I have been coming here for many years and I after having yet another amazing visit to the store today I finally thought it was time to write a review.I have only have nothing but great experiences while visiting this store. The entire staff has amazing knowledge of the vast shoe selection, and they are experienced at finding the perfect fit for you. All while giving an amazing customer experience. Super attentive and somehow they always have my crazy size in pretty much any show I ask for.I can only shot out Shay and Alex because they are the only names I can remember right now but the entire staff deserves kudos.So great job FrontRunners. This is my 2nd time visiting this store and the staff has been extremely helpful. Giving a big thank you today to Shay. I was hoping not to spend a long time looking for some new shoes bec I didnt have a lot of time to spend. She greeted me immediately, she looked at my shoes, could tell the type, suggested I go for the upgrade (unless I was looking for a different type of shoe....I wasnt) which some were on sale, she got me the shoe I picked and added the insoles, and badda bing and we had a winner! She was very nice, knowledgeable and attentive (she had another customer she was working with). I was happy to be able to donate my old shoes and walk out with some new ones....and they felt SO much better 😊.

I waited for help for 10 minutes. There was a salesMan standing near the wide doorway that led to the store room checking out the butt of a female customer. I motioned I would like customer service. His reply was what do you want! I had to shout across the room. Help me find my size. He scoffed, so it escalated into a verbal exchange and I walked out. A real punk attitude is what I found at this store. This happened in March of 2023

My son and I had yet again an amazing experience purchasing NewBalance yesterday. Our initial purchase of the 990s is what brought us back. This time, and thanks to the Asset Manager, Michael re-measuring his feet and so provided him with excellent options for work shoes by the 928s with the therapeutic insoles. Michael was genuine & knows this stuff! This is our family store no doubt about it now!

These are the second pair of New Balance and this is the only place I will get them. Michael is so knowledgeable and knows exactly what the right ones for you are. It has always been such a challenge and never had anyone take as much time as Michael has. He is patent and explains the differences. Yes they are pricey but so well worth it and so much better for your feet and body. It makes a huge difference.

I went to the store this morning and was helped by Tehani. I bought one pair of shoes and they didn’t have the other pair I wanted so Tehani offered to call the other store. Then I bought some insoles for my shoes and she helped me trim them down to fit. Great customer service. Will come back again. 👍

Orthotics are very effective for foot issues. I had problems with my arches because of the concrete Im walking on every day. Picked up a pair of orthodics from New Balance. They even gave me a 10% discount because I had a Drs prescription. The very next day, the pain was gone! They work, folks!

Just bought my second pair of new balance of shoes here and the customer service is great! The guy who I was with was really attentive and recommends on what will look good and comfy on you. It is also a place to go check on how your foot arch is and if there are any problems revolving around, they let you try a bunch of foot soles that would make your feet normal again.

Alex was such an awesome help! Ive always had horrible ankles and pain in my feet and his recommendations were spot on. Id definitely come back here, and I even decided on getting personalized insoles and he helped me with ordering those to, very helpful and let me explain what I was feeling and going through with my pains in my feet and knees. He also was super informative with not only my issues but also helped my partner get shoes as well. Alex explained everything to us in detail and not once did I feel like I was pushed to buy anything, he was very friendly and made sure we were both comfortable in our shoe choices as well as our inserts. Excellent. Theyre not cheap but they are worth it. Think of it as an investment in your heath. Your feet carry you through life and a good pair of shoes that support your feet will also align & take pressure off your hips, spine, and knees. Yes I get my dad shoes here, but they just Mahe a damn good shoe. All sizes and extra wide widths in stock make this the store to beat. Staff is friendly and helpful. Precision foot measurement is great, all digital. It fits give them more latitude when recommending orthotic inserts to give better results. Not cheap, but worth the price.

New Balance has very good, well-fitting and comfortable casual and athletic shoes. I have worn them for 10+ years without any problems. The Torrance store is spacious, with a wide selection of New Balance models. The sales staff have always been friendly; they know the brand, and wait on you attentively, unlike most other stores today. Always a positive experience.

Nio gave me great customer service & was super informative on the types of shoes I should be training with. Although I came in to try out the shoes I will be back to purchase the ones he has recommended. I would definitely come in and get your feet scanned to see what kind of shoes are best suited to prevent injuries. Something that most shoe stores dont offer. Thats why I love New Balance. My visit was on Oct. 01, 2013, Looking for the same model Number Shoe [927] Ive been wearing for years; of course NB upgraded the shoe. Now I was a little concerned due to the fact that I am diabetic; nerve damage in my back that caused my left foot to swell from time to time. I received assistance from the store manager Alex and let me tell you, it was by far the best trip I have ever had! I explain my conditions to Alex and he was on it. Tried the new model number shoe [928] in the size I was told by a shop I was paying almost $500 a pair. Because of Alex pointing out a few things that my old shoe store never did, I ended up with 2 best fitting pairs of shoes I ever had! The Staff was great there and because of Alex, I am more then willing to drive that extra mile to get the expert service i received at NB of South Bay! GREAT JOB Alex! Keep It up!

I am looking online and I have found a lot of shoes that are closer to $50 but none of them are in my size. Why dont shoe companies realize that REAL women have wide feet?

The store have a machine that asssess your both foot then staff will explain which type oshoes u should buy from walking shoes to traning shoes. Store is closed between 2 pm and 3 pm. We walked up to the door at 2:59 as they were letting the 5 people waiting at the door inside to shop. They shut the security gate as we were walking up. 15 minutes later we were still standing there (and finally left). No one ever greeted us or made any comments about any limited capacity. No one said a word. There is also nothing on the doors or chalkboard to indicate any capacity limits. If you’re only allowing a certain number of patrons in at once, that’s totally fine. But be polite and communicate, in some way, with the people you shut the gate on.

The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and to me, extremely patient. Ive been dealing with foot pain (burning sensation) making my feet very sensitive to fit. Although many shoes fit fine in the store, once I get them home and wear them in the house for several hours, my feet start to burn and ache. The store, especially the manager, has been understanding of this issue and they have taken back shoes that just didnt work for me. On top of the burning pain, I also have supinated feet and use custom orthotics. This store has bent over backwards to help me in my search for comfortable shoes. Thank you New Balance South Bay.

I guess Im Too Old school. Every shoe in this store is over $120 and sales people are crawling all over the store to help justify the cost of every shoe. Some shoes were $190-$250 but somehow I cannot justify paying such Outrageous pricing for something that is being made by a person in China for $8.00 dollars per day and 5 bowls of rice bonus. I just cant make the justification and value Leap.Corporate has gone crazy to think thats acceptable for there gross profit numbers.Better to try on some stuff figure out what works and then go online and buy them as cheap as you can.Nuff Said***

After having measured my foot in a machine that read out the exact measurements of my foot they brought out the wrong shoe size three times. Then told me nothing is exact.Sure nothing is exact.
