Worked with Chris for a couple cases from my car accidents from 2018 & 2019. (Both not my fault). He guided me and most of all wanted to make sure that my family was safe and healthy. He helped me navigate through insurance issues and assured me of my worries. My child was in the car so replacing the car seat was mentioned for any accident. The cases were prolonged and i was pleased with the outcome.

Chris Zhang claims that he is a patent attorney and had worked in big patent law firms before. He convinced me that what I have been doing was patent-able and charged me $7000 fee upfront for doing a patent for me. He promised to give me a first draft in weeks. But the two weeks promise was dragged to more than eight months without any result. He didnt respond to my repeated emails or phone calls for a few months. I started to realize that he didnt know my industry and was not qualified to do a patent for me. Upon my suggestion to cancel the service after eight months, he immediately sent me a draft which was not anywhere near what I was looking for or resembles what I was doing. Another three months later, I suggested that he came to my job site to see what I was doing to get a better idea. He agreed and came. He was exited and told me that now he knew how to write the patent application. But again, he failed to deliver the draft within two weeks as he promised. Now after a year and a half since I wrote the check of $7000 to him, I still dont have anything. I am taking him to the small claim court and going to file a claim with the State Bar of California.Ive noticed that Chris responded to my review above. Here is my answer to his response.Yes, Chris, you did make an offer to refund my fees. However, that was only after I had posted my review above on your non-service. I wouldnt have had to write this review if you had made the offer earlier. I hope my review didnt have any negative effect on your campaign.I didnt accept your offer because you had conditions with your offer. Part of it was to withdraw my review and delete it from the Internet. I told you I was reluctant to do that because I didnt want other potential clients of yours make similar mistakes, i.e. pay the complete fees upfront. My counter offer was that you file a different patent for me which I knew you could do. Instead of me paying upfront, you treat it as if I already paid a down-payment. You didnt agree and withdrew your offer. Now I have to file a complaint withe The State Bar of California as well as file a case with the Small Claims Court. See you there, Chris.
