Great experience all round. Purchased a slimsport roofrack with a number of accessories. Install done with their fitment center.Comfortable lounge area with drinks & snacks + Wifi to get some work done while waiting.There are a lot of complaints RE to customer service, but I had a rather pleasant experience from start to end.Yes, you cannot always get a hold of someone when calling in, but they do have black friday specials at the moment, so expect delays.I will definitely be back !

Update. Front runner after several weeks finally send me a full refund a d cancelled the entire order. It is a shame that I had to post a 1 star review to get thier attention. I will not be buying from them after this recent transaction.I have purchased two (2) Front Runner Kayak mounts at $400+ separately for the pair. As excited as I was to receive them, I became quickly disappointed in 3 things. 1, how quickly the pads fade.2. The lack of support not only I have received from Front Runner but also the lack of support my distributor has with them. I paid over $400 for 2 racks that fade out. When I reached out to Front Runner and their “Lifetime Warranty” that is a LIE! I have received no refund, I even had to order 2 new pads thinking they will last longer with Scott guard fabric protectant and the pads faded just as quickly. It’s now Thanksgiving and Front Runner has dropped the prices $100 to around $300+ a rack. I will go ahead and say don’t waste your time with them. Front Runner, you had the chance to make it right with a refund or replacements. This brings up to my 3rd point. I had to resort to leaving a review because Front Runner has zero communication since this complaint with me. I have been frozen out.

Andrew at Front Runner tracked down some obscure parts, had them shipped in from South Africa for me, and acted like it was no big deal! Front Runner makes the best products available worldwide for overland expedition and their customer service is the top. I own and use equipment from both front runner and their competitors but going forward I will be using Front Runner exclusively. Their customer service and parts availability are the best I’ve ever experienced and that makes this company the best in the market. Thank you, Andrew!!

I purchased the front runner bars for my Toyota Tacoma to place them on top of my Diamondback cover. This bars look amazing! They are well built for my personal use. I was missing two stickers in one of the bars and I personally contacted Front Runner. Their customer service department was incredibly attentive to my needs. So for background i work at a shop thats done aftermarket accessories for decades. Ive done this stuff for around a decade. Between the guys and i, theres around 40 years of experience. The directions for their products are garbage, vague and poorly written. After following their instructions too the T, on my personal vehicle, their product damaged my paint. They said they were going to talk it over and get back to me, no response. The product was never going to work as directed. Had to make multiple modifications to get it to clear. Would have just returned it, but had already drilled holes in my car. Definitely would not recommend buying any products from these folks.

WARNING to anyone who is considering buying anything from Frontrunner. I recently bought the Slimline II roof rack from Frontrunner for my ikamper tent. Turns out that this roof rack is not compatible with the ikamper unless you buy additional parts from Frontrunner which cost hundreds of dollars. Trying to return their product has been a nightmare. Their website claims “30 days money back guarantee” but what they don’t tell is that you will be charged shipping both ways and a 20% restocking fee. By just assembling the roofrack it was considered used. My fault for not looking at the fine print of their return policy before I bought and just believing their money back guarantee. Will never buy anything from this company again and advise anyone considering buying from them to carefully review their return policy prior to purchasing. Hoping to save someone else the trouble of dealing with them.

All of their equipment looks good, is quality, works great, works together seamlessly. The quality control is top notch. It is really worth the price. The SUPPORT has been stellar. Jolo with FrontRunner has been the man - from answering technical questions and catering to your specific needs to support with damage on the shippers part... which is a VERY rare occurrence. Ive ordered from FrontRunner many times and FedEx has only damaged my item once, which FrontRunner (Jolo) made a very quick, easy, and painless process to replace. Their gear and staff is A+++!

The Slimline II and expedition rails was a breeze to assemble and the fit up to my ARE cap was simple and solid. I opted for the 2m awning and the quick release mounts and couldn’t be happier. All in all I would highly recommend all the Frontrunner products.

From the quote, purchased, packaging, and assembly. I had the pleasure of Sameer helping me. I even made a mistake on one of the rail tubes and Front Runner sent me an extra one. The Quality is perfect and packaging. I did have a small issue when I mounted the tray onto the footrails. The tray was square but was off when I installed it. Front was not centered but the rear was. Sameer emailed with a fast response and it was a simple fix. Loosened the nuts that connect the tray to the footrails and adjust the bolts. It was that simple. I plan on buying a few accessories later. I.G. #toyotasequoialife

The products are top notch. Their customer service is excellent, when you purchased items from them. If you did not purchase items from them, you must go to the retailer you bought them from. Also, only if the retailer is an authorised dealer. So not all Frontrunner products are concidered equal. Keep records and dont buy any other way than direct! If it was not for this, they would be 5 stars.

It was awesome being able to place my roof top tent on will call so I could stop in to check out the showroom! It was fun looking around. Alyssa was not only super friendly and fun to talk to, but actually really knowledgeable when it came to different types of roof rail systems and channels and trucks too. It was great to not feel hassled, but instead welcomed.There were a few washers missing when it came to assembly, but all the major hardware and bits and pieces were there which is what was important.The girlfriend and I absolutely love our new purchase, but even better, were beyond happy with the experience!

Over the years I have purchased Wolfpacks, Chairs and Tables from Front Runner. All Great products. I had always wanted to install their rack system to hold it all together. Recently I had two custom racks to have built for an off road trailer and my new Jeep JT. Staff over the phone with some back and forth helped me get a perfect fit for both. I bought 3 of the front runner expandable chairs several months back and one broke after 2nd use. Since a week ago I have left 2 lengthy messages trying to get someone to call me about the warranty. Unfortunately no one has. Very poor customer service. You spend good money on stuff like this and you would think that a company would take 5 minutes to call you back and stand by there product. Nope not this company. Will never do business with them again.

I recently purchased Side Brackets to hold MaxTrax on my Slimline II Rack. Although the included instructions were good, I needed technical assistance about one part of the installation. I was able to reach someone immediately at Front Runner who provided the info. I needed. This ability to get technical advice so quickly saved me alot of time, and is pretty unusual to reach someone that quickly at most companies. In addition, I ran into an issue later in the process in which 2 of the screws did not fit the way they were supposed to. When I contacted Front Runner the second time, I reached Shawn who immediately agreed to send out replacements. I was notified later the same day that the screws were already shipped.Over the last few months after taking delivery of a 2022 Tacoma, I have purchased a rack and a number of accessories from Front Runner. I am really pleased with the quality of all these items, and am amazed at the customer service and technical assistance.

Products are great.. Service is awful. Which makes me not want to do business with them anymore. I have just spent thousands on different great products . However, one item needed to be returned. I can’t get a hold of anyone. I left messages, emails and online help “button”. I have 30 days to return. And I would like to purchase something in its place . Unfortunately, this is a deal breaker because all over the website it say 24 hour support. I would look else where for your over-landing needs until this problem is corrected. Bad Customer service can ruin great products. ****. Follow Up**** service center contacted me, and fixed my issues. Like a lot of businesses, they are having staffing issues. Currently experiencing trouble with Front Runner customer service. The parts I ordered weeks ago arrived damaged due to poor packing. All three parts that I paid hundreds of dollars for were damaged. Their support is very, very slow to respond and over the course of 5 days back and forth with them, I still have not gotten anywhere. They suggested I could send the items back, and after I agreed that I could do this, I have not heard back.Front Runner should have immediately sent out replacements after I sent them photographs of the poor packaging and damaged items. I guess Ill keep waiting, but contact the credit card company if this poor support continues.To summarize, Im out hundreds of dollars, I am burdened with purchasing boxes and finding a UPS store to ship back broken items, and I still do not have the items that I ordered weeks ago specifically in preparation for an upcoming trip.If you want to save yourself a headache, shop elsewhere.

It was a Happy Place...that equips me to get to my Happier places!Lots on display in the showroom building for reference and perspective. Staff provided good feedback on the items, and his real world experience recommendations on the products to fill in the knowledge gaps.Picked up accessories for the slimline2 rack to fit more surf boards and secure equipment up top. Also the storage drawer kit with dividers for Land Rover Disco5...which exceeded expectations!Basically doubles the storage space and provides lockable security. Your load space mat can still fit on top for wet items like wetsuits...and they have thought thru the spare tire lowering procedure with a cutout and extended t handle tool. The contoured deck-top fits around the wheel wells like a glove.It comes mounted in a quality laser cut plywood protective crate with sprayed on brand placement...which I will either make into a coffee table or store items within it in the garage. Bonus! If you have them install it, make sure you ask to take it with you, its worth something.A fitment appointment wasnt available...but they went above and beyond to the other warehouse and picked up the crate. We took it away and installed everything ourselves in a few hours.Excellent quality, great fitment, well thought through design, ok instructions. We shall see on durability, but with just a week in...Im impressed with the ease of loading the vertical surfboard carrier, and headed to my Happy Places!

The product is great and sure pricey is up there yes, but once you need warranty claim be prepare for too many question from FR. Instead of asking how this occur or how would they improve their product in future BUT instead they would say “they will give you 20% off for the new one” FR said it’s table is not covered under standard warranty because it’s been used by me. Let me remind you this picnic table is advertise as “PRO” name on it. the table is great shape over all but the 4 corners are the weak spot. the warranty dept. is a joke with my experience…

Purchased a full roof rack system for my Tundra including front section over the cab and rear over a hard shell canopy in 2016. Over time added all the accessories including awning, traction recovery devices, propane tank storage, surf board rack, road shower, etc...amazing functionality and love having nothing rattling on the roof. Recently certain parts of the system (hardware and side rails) began showing signs of oxidation and corrosion. I reached out to FrontRunner about this issue and Liam promptly replied back, was super helpful and coordinated for replacement parts to be shipped out at no cost. EXCELLENT customer service and refreshing to work with a company that fully stands behind their product!

I recently purchased a vehicle which had a set of the Front Runner gullwing doors installed on it. Unfortunately, when I took possession of the vehicle the previous owner had lost the keys to the gullwing doors. So, after several failed attempts to have a locksmith make new keys, I reached out to Front Runner for help. Shawn answered my inquiry right away and said he would try to find me a set of replacements. Sure enough, that same afternoon, Shawn emailed me to let me know he had found a set of keys and mailed them out. I was in shock! What great customer service. The staff at Front Runner are super supportive and a tremendous help. I will recommend them to everyone I know in the 4X4 world and continue making purchases from them myself. Thank you, Shawn!

I was hoping to stop by for curbside pickup but they were closed due to recent lockdown restrictions. The guy on the phone was very helpful and walked me through ordering online, which I did. I got a set of ladder brackets for my camper van and received them next day, even when using standard shipping. The service was great, and the product arrived much earlier than expected. All in the middle of a pandemic. Highly recommend.

This is such a cool place! Front Runner has a really cool show room displaying all of their products. I came in frustrated with my previous rack system and was checking out Front Runners stuff to see if it would suit my needs. The staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions, even brought water for my dog who was tagging along with me. I told them exactly what I was trying to accomplish and they showed me all of the accessories I would need. I walked out of there spending a pretty penny but with the A+ customer service it was worth it.

Ordered online after asking them a few questions about the product. After not receiving any shipping info for 5 days I contacted them and was told their shipping department was running behind. OK, things happen. Then 3 days later they cancel my order and say that they dont have the item. Im gong on a trip and now have to find another solution with only a few days to accomplish this. Thanks a lot. Why does it take them 8 days to realize they dont even have the product they accepted money for? Very bad customer service.

I recently ordered a rack for my F150 during the Black Friday sale. But I ended up selling my truck couple days later and got a Tacoma. I called their sales team to double check if the rack for the F150 would fit for the Tacoma because on their website when I shopped by vehicle for the Tacoma, the same dimension rack popped up. Kyle (the sales rep) told me it would hang over but the vibe of his tone was a little careless maybe a bit condescending. But whatever I brushed it off. I asked if I could exchange the order but he said he had to cancel the current order and that I’d have to reorder. I informed him that my credit limit isn’t very high and that I’d have to wait for the return to post on my credit card which takes couple days. I asked him knowing that the sale ends today, if there was anything he could do to help me. Without even attempting to find a solution or even show a little bit of concern, he just said I can’t do anything for you. If the sale is over it’s over.This is the first response I received and I had to call back and talk to someone else because it was just a little mind numbing.I get that your company has a process in how you process orders. But in my mind, you’re a retail company. So to not have a process where exchanges can be made? I’m scratching my head here. I get the little bit of a headache that may be caused between the paper work and shipping department, but is that inconvenience such a hurdle? Maybe your company is too big and has too many orders that the headache is actually too much but then is the company too big for the little things?Just on the customer side of things...At least show an attempt to find a solution or even show a little concern. I mean your goal at the end of the day is to get a sale no? You do have great products and there’s no arguing that. But as a customer I had to rethink if I wanted to purchase your products. I must say I bought it with a bad taste in my mouth. If this company solely relies on its products, it’s a risky tactic.Thanks to Alyssa for at least showing some concern for customer happiness. If you want a great roof rack for your van conversion and great service, you should checkout Front Runner. I researched a ton on different roof racks and there are a lot of great ones, but Front Runner’s rack is a very versatile, flexible roof system that has a strong ecosystem for accessories. It also bolts with normal screws and is well made. I’ve been working with one of their support guys, Liam Sarroug, and he’s been so helpful, patient, and easy to work with. I’ve also worked with Travis too, and he’s awesome. Both took the time to look at my layout and pictures, to help me. Thanks Liam and Travis!

The Front Runner Team has been fantastic. I dealt specifically with Brandon for a rack setup for my Range Rover Sport. Front Runner doesnt offer a kit for my truck but Brandon put one together and it worked out awesome.Brandon answered all my questions in a timely manner and I cant thank him enough. Rack had dents and was missing nuts, customer support was HORRIBLE. I was put on hold by the sales rep 11 times. The rack is small for the vehicle so their SPRINTER campaign they are running is a scheme to get into the market. The product is solid once assembled, I definitely like the adjustable slats. I think that they have a bit too much flex when walking on them but that is not a huge deal. All in all, your money is better spent on a Alluminess rack!

One star, I wish they had negative stars too. They sold me a rack fro my 2002 Nissan Xterra and it does not fit! Once I was able to speak to a real human being they told me that the rack was for 2005 and above Xterras. When asked why my order was accepted via the computer, they had no real answer other than to say they would refund me the money and send me postage paid labels. My next complaint will be with the Better Business Bureau.

I waited a long time to find this combination of water can and holder. Well I finally came across one on eBay. So I bought it. It was half the price of a new set.I’ll start with the Jerry Can Holder. I will give credit where it is do. The bracket is well made. Welds are sturdy and well finished. 1/8” steel is used throughout, much better than Smi**ybuilt. While the material and construction is very good. It is poorly designed. The holder arm which is supposed to secure the water cantainer is so loose, if you worked at it by hand you would get it off. It does not prevent tampering with the content. And it can’t be used with other containers. The holes for mounting do not align with license plate mounting holes. Even though it’s supposedly made for the US?Now the water container. It’s sturdy and well made. The spout works well and it easy to operate. It can be easily removed for replacement. Unfortunately the container imparts that terrible plastic smell and taste into the water. Why? I never had this issue with my inexpensive Rubb**maid or Col*man containers. And, why gray? Blue is the standard color for water containers.I would think if you purchased this new at nearly $200, you would have an item ready to go, no modifications needed. Not the case. I’ll have to seal the inside of the container and paint it. I’ll modify the holder as needed and make the best of it. I would pass on buying another. Bob MotoSo here is an update for Front Runner. Someone claiming to be the owner responded to my product review. The respondent did not identify themself. They insinuated that I had mistaken their product for some other. They offered to resolve any issues I might have if I would contact them. So I did, sending photos of the item in question and asking for their suggestions. Four business days have passed with no response.I can only come to one conclusion. That my review of the product was fair and accurate. That the photos shut down the attempt at misdirection. I placed an order with front runner on 11/25/16 order # 500002936 online. We were headed on a long trip starting on 12/5/16 and I am located in southern California about 1:30 away from front runner. Monday comes dont hear anything or any delivery yet so I give it another day still nothing so I call into front runner to find out whats going on ? Talk to Steve i guess the manger guess something happen with pay pal processing not big deal give him credit card over the phone no problem Steve tells me I will get that out right away should be there in a day ok it is now the 30th you would think by Friday at the latest since the order was placed first thing in the morning when front runner opened not so they ship it a day later even know front runner says on their website they ship same day!!. Shipment is coming on Friday now still have time before we leave. UPS call me on Friday and says the have lost the package and left it some where and will not be able to get to me until next week Tuesday or Wednesday. I call Steve back at front runner to find out whats going on with the shipment he explains there is nothing he can do, at this point i have no option we are leaving 2 days and i am not going to have $1,700 order sitting at my front door for 2 weeks while I am gone. I call Steve to cancel the order he says no problem and dose. I check my credit card and noticed that I did not get a full refund, call Steve back he tells me that I have to pay the cost of shipping even know UPS lost the order, He now explained that its my fault because i canceled the order really???? Told him why dont you contact your shipper and get your money back for the shipping? This is where front runner and Steve shine it would have taken 10 days to go 70 miles down the road thats my fault according to Steve better yet front runner clearly says that they ship same day that was also my fault according to Steve. Now front runner will no longer speak to me and steve now hangs up the phone. So I called the credit card company to for the shipping front runner has fought this all the way and will not refund me the shipping. I would recommend buying from a company that cares about service and not ripping off their customers for shipping that is out of my control. SO THANK YOU for ripping me off on the shipping I Will never buy from you again.

Ordered folding chairs- To my disappointment, they are made in China. On top of that, two weeks later they had a 10% off sale. Called in to see if they would honor the discount, they refused. Most any great company would be willing to do that, so another disappointment.

This company has the worst customer service! I paid extra to have the item shipped quicker to have it on time, they didnt ship it out on time and so It did not make it. There customer support didnt care, offered a refund for just the extra shipping cost.

Front Runner Outfitters is a small warehouse but its got everything you want! The show room usually opens from 10-5. The employees are very friendly and if theres something that you need help with for installation purposes or other products, theyll be glad to help.

Dont come here unless youre wallet is ready to take a beating, otherwise youre just torturing yourself. Picked up some slimline roof racks for the truck, took me a day to install them, and they worked amazingly well for our trip.THeir accessory lineup and showroom is something to be admired as well, definitely give this place a look if youre an offroad or overland adventurer.
