Fun foods for a quick brunch/lunch. Order at the counter and they bring the items to your table. Needed another latte for the day, it was huge. The monte cristo was fun, french toast with different meats enclosed. The potatoes with it was the first to go. Choice of two dips, syrup and strawberry. The pastries and pies looked good but was too full. Service was nice.

This is a great little spot in this small town. The food was excellent, I had a breakfast bowl and it hit all the flavor marks you can hope for. The baked goods here though are definitely some of the best I have had, and I found myself leaving with a box of cookies even after I just ate. Service is great as well, its a small town and you get that from the friendly demeanor of everyone here. The place is cozy and comfortable, it even has outdoor seating to enjoy nice days. I was very happy to.havr found this place during my stay in Red Bluff

10/10 recommend! Drove through on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised to find fresh food for a very reasonable price. Very very impressed with everything we ordered. I had the breakfast tacos and wish we didnt live 3 hours away because I could easily eat them every day! You could tell everything used was fresh ingredients even for the desserts! Also was very excited to see fresh homemade sourdough bread for $5! What a steal. Not to mention the staff was extremely helpful and you could tell was happy to be at work and offered yummy free samples. Well make this a regular stop on our drives.

So I used to love this place, I have ignored the constant order screw ups because for the most part the food was good or the service was good, now it’s neither. Very unfortunate. Here’s the “well done” burger I ordered for my 3 yr old (note I even told them it was for my child when I ordered it well done). I might add that despite my tipping, smiling and being polite and friendly all I got back was a sneer upon picking up my order which is pretty common. I should say that the breakfast/lunch time is usually good and I’ve never had a problem there if it was based on the day staff I would give 5 stars.

Always like trying new places while in Red Bluff. Me and a friend each had a burger. I had the Cali Burger (pictured) and it was amazing! Hamburger patty was thick and juicy and seemed like it was fresh choice beef. My friend had the bacon cheeseburger and was equally impressed. One of the best burgers we’ve had in a very long time. I only had the burger and water and it was definitely plenty filling. We each bought a cronut to go. I wasn’t greatly fond of the chocolate crème cronut. The apple cronut was much better. It was pretty busy when we went there for lunch but the order line went quickly. And it didn’t take long for our burgers to arrive at our table. All the staff were super friendly and the place had a great atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back! You gained two new fans today. Keep up the great work!

I had a meeting here and ordered a coffee, black. Coffee was hot, earthy with a good flavor and a decent portion.This is a great space for small meetings and conversations. Wheres my salad? I ordered a blackened chicken Caesar salad last night and when I opened the box, there was hardly any leafy green goodness that I have grown accustomed to. Its half empty, normally its way more volume than this. I feel like I got ripped off for 14 bucks. I think Im just gonna figure out what they put in their ranch and make it at home from now on.

Cute lunch spot here in Red Bluff. Great salad options, mine was delicious. If you like coffee try the Aztec Mocha. What a great flavor! Line was long, but staff is very efficient and super nice. Be prepared to parallel park for spots close by.

Spacious cafe with a full breakfast and lunch menu, along with full coffee service. You order at the counter and get a number, making it fairly quick. It does get a bit busy around 9-10am. The potatoes are amazing!

Ok, so is it normal for the staff to tell customers that because they are closing in 5 minutes that we have to get our order Togo?? I’m sorry, I’ve been in the hospitality business for quite some time now and if the doors to the restaurant are unlocked, guests are welcome to come in, sit down and eat. I get that they were closing soon, but if you’re open, you’re open. That includes guests sitting down to eat their food. If you don’t want people sitting down to eat, LOCK YOUR DOORS! I mean seriously, 6:00 on a Sunday night is pretty early! But to tell someone when they walk in, unless we are ordering it Togo, we can’t eat there. Come on now! Get it together!!Just can’t get an order right!!!! So tired of them using the pandemic as an excuse!!!! Literally EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. they mess our order up!! Forgot an entire meal this time and the plain burger had a ton of mustard on it!! So tired of this place. I’m done. I will never go back.

Based upon its excellent Google reviews, my wife and I stopped in here for lunch on our way the Bay Area. We were not disappointed but found the Whisky BBQ Burger and the Carnitas Tacos delicious. Only a short distance from I5, it is very clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, and we did not have to wait very long for our food. This would be our #1 choice of places to eat if we were traveling through Red Bluff again. We were so glad to have found it.

Fries used to come with some of the food, now its an extra charge and you dont even get as many, and they arent very good.

After a 4 hour drive we were starving and needed a bite to eat. I just happened to find this place on google and I’m happy I did. They have a great variety of food and the outside area is dog friendly. The chia tea was amazing as well as the breakfast burrito. Definitely stopping by again.

I brought my parents and kids here for the first time, and the food was delicious. The inside is modern and clean. They staff was very nice and accommodating. We asked for recommendations, and she said the Chi bowl was a popular item. My mom and I both got the Chi bowl with kale and qoina (mine was chicken and hers tofu). My son got the whisky burger, and my three other kids got Umami burgers (one made with impossible patty). I also ordered 5 drinks, and they all got garlic fries with their burgers. For the 5 of us, I spent $107 with a 15% tip. We also got a free bacon cheese burger (they accidentally brought it out instead of one of the umami burgers but boxed it up for me to take home (I was planning on buying one to take home to my husband anyways). They staff was great and the food was amazing

Got the ahi tuna bowl with kale & quinoa. There was hardly any quinoa, this was more of a kale salad as opposed to a “bowl”. Ordered without cilantro, but there was quite a bit of cilantro in it, ruining many of my bites. There was no dressing or sauce on the bowl, or in my bag. I had to go back in to get some. The freshness of the tuna was sub-par. I would return, but certainly not for this entree.

WOW!!!!Where do I begin? The food was absolutely incredible. We came here to celebrate our Junior Football Championship Game win! The only thing sweeter than the taste of victory was the delicious desserts!!I got the umami burger and was blown away. I paired it with the peanut butter pipeline, which was like a peanut butter cup in a drink.My wife got the teriyaki bowl and replaced the rice with kale and quinoa. The mushrooms, peppers, and chicken were all prepared to perfection! Such a find! We were looking for a place to get a quick healthy dinner while on a long trip that wasnt the standard fastfood or greasy spoon.This restaurant was perfect! Health fresh options (and fries if you need them!) Fantastically clean and well organized with plenty of seating inside and out. The staff was extra icing on the cake! Pleasant, helpful and fast.This place is now saved and will be a go to everytime we pass through!We had the Jerk tacos and the Southwest salad. Both were generous portions and not overwhelming. Excellent bright flavors and great balance of ingredients.

This is a clear favorite for us. The people are always friendly. The food is always fabulous. Plentiful portions, clean, casual, and charming atmosphere. This asks about which meal we ate but honestly we have had breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, and/or Dinner. We have never been disappointed. They have a fun gal there named Terri that is just a delight it is worth the trip in for her friendly manner and smiles. But they are all working their tails off to make everyones experience the best.

Based on Google reviews we ate here while passing through. We had the daily soup, Tokyo bowl and chicken wings; all of which were delicious. The rice bowl had plenty of fresh vegetables and was tasty although just a little too much teriyaki sauce. Other tables were tucking into burgers, fries and tacos which all looked equally well prepared. Clearly the staff take some pride in serving good simple food and doing it well.If I am ever in this area again I will definitely come back here.

My family stopped in here while traveling through to Redwood national Park from Tahoe. It was delightful and delicious! The Peruvian steak sandwich was messy but worth it. The blackened chicken cesar was refreshing. The fries are crispy and the burgers are enormous. The tomato soup is a must try in my daughters opinion.Stop in whether youre a local or just passing through. You wont be disappointed.

This is a great find. I frequently travel I5 and felt like there were never any good eating options near the freeway that were convenient for a quick stop. From the Hearth was terrific : very tasty food, reasonable prices, fast and friendly service, nice and casual ambiance. Clean bathroom. Good for families. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, steak tacos, and not-so-fried chicken sandwich. All delicious. Fries were excellent. Definitely a regular stop on future trips.

Awesome food and GREAT service. Went with a group of ladies and we were able to sit in the back in a perfect location and we all fit in nicely and comfortably. The food was very tasty. I had a Turkey and avocado sandwich on a croissant and it was delicious! First time going there and it wont be my last. The pastries in the showcase looked really great too. Next time I will try the sweets. Very cute place. Looks small from the outside but its very roomy and comfy inside.

Horrible Horrible Horrible, They can not get orders rights. On 3 separate occasions I have ordered 3 different sandwiches and they have all been mess up. That is just on recent orders. In the past they gave me a burt grilled cheese, one side of bread was fine which they of course placed up and the burnt side face down so you couldnt see when you open.If I could give negative stars I would. I will not be returning to any of there locations. They should never win any of the best of anything. Over priced, cant get orders rights. Will not recommend this place any more. Update. They said they were going to refund me on my messed up orders got my statement they did not for last month, check my statement for this order no refund given again.

From the Hearth has long been my families go to on busy nights. I’ve slowly become less and less satisfied with my experience here. Prices have gone up, sides are no longer included with your sandwich or burger. You pay $4 for 10-12 French fries, which is ridiculous! I used to be able to feed my family if 5 for $60-$65. Tonight my 2 dinners totaled $36.73! 1 hamburger with Garlic Fries, a French Dip with Garlic Fries and no beverages)I probably wouldn’t have written a poor review had my dinner at least been edible. My hamburger was nearly raw. I’m not talking pink in the middle, I’m talking pink on the outside! And our garlic fries (all 10 of them) were in their own container swimming in oil or butter. It was 1/2 inch deep!From the Hearth, come on. If you’re going to charge me more, at least provide me with a good product!

I loved my Chi bowl with chicken. The Umami sauce was very delicious. I wish it would have been just a little more intense. The bowl had the perfect combination and quantity of ingredients. I had a mix of the brown rice, and the kale mix. My coworker had the pulled pork sandwich and he said it was wonderful. He also enjoyed the lemonade. I’m glad this was our dinner while traveling for work. It was filling, delicious, fresh and healthy.

Stayed at a local hotel and the staff highly recommend this restaurant. We arent local so only ordered off their online menu. I should have waited to order in person. I have kids and was unaware there was even a kids menu.The staff was friendly and helpful. Our food took longer then expected. The ladies working out front were apologetic about the website not listening a kids menu or their waffles. I regret not getting any waffles.The food was great. We got a chicken rice bowl, the Thai chicken wrap, and the cafe wrap. After a day of driving, it hit the spot.All in all, I will definitely be eating here when we pass through again. I just wish they would add the kids menu and waffles to the online menu.

The $12 jersey chicken bowl i received was incredibly skimpy in what they put in it and on top of that they put a very thick coconut sauce on it that had no taste what so ever. It was not good and I ate very little of it. I have always had a good experience here and the smoothies they have are awesome the breakfast options they have are so yummy but lunch is not their specialty....Try it for your own experience but I would recommend if you want a good experience, eat breakfast here :)

Top notch ingredients prepared with proper attention to detail. I personally dont find the cold deli sandwiches to be any better than any other quality deli set up, but the hot menu is outstanding!Not thrilled that a year ago they raised the price of my sandwich $1 AND AT THE SAME TIME took away the included fries (making the total price shift $5 and change), so now I get it once every 4-6 months instead of twice a month. At least the quality hasnt changed.New info: as of my 7/10/22 visit (first in 8 months) they are now using a lower quality of pastrami that has no grain thats discernable when chewing (chews like pressed meat) AND is SWEET (a taste that has NO business on pastrami!).

Wonderful family restaurant in the charming Northern Cal small town of Red Bluff with a warm Western hometown feel. You can dine inside or sit outside at several picnic tables and they are very pet friendly! They have a variety of hot and cold custom made sandwiches, salads, wraps, bowls, homemade soups and gourmet burgers.Located across the street from the old historic County Court House building with a feel of the late 1800s, early 1900s. Everything at the restaurant is made fresh and homemade so dont expect fast food! The wait is worth it! The chicken pot pie soup is the bomb, and a must if you love a hardy, homemade chicken and vegetable soup. The tomatoe basil soup with the extra touch of balsamic glaze is also excellent! We liked the restaurant so much we may be back tomorrow to try breakfast on our way out of town, and will be back next trip! Thank you for great service as well!

I really like this place and support them wholeheartedly BUT recently all of their plastic bags/containers, along with their Styrofoam containers are reeking of STRONG perfume.Perhaps there is a new employee? Or maybe an existing employee started wearing the strongest perfume known to man and is touching the containers/bags when packaging food? Or it could be that the items themselves are arriving scented from wherever they are purchasing from and its time to change vendors..... In any case, if you have a good working sense of smell and dont wear perfume yourself, take the containers outside in the fresh air or in an enclosed car and take a whiff.Its really gross and has made it difficult to eat the food here. Im a LONG time customer and it makes me want to stop coming here which is a shame. Soooo glad we happened upon this place. Just traveling through, we spotted this place as we toured a bit of the downtown area. Outdoor (shade) or indoor (AC) was available and on our hot day opted for dining in. The place is an oasis on the inside with ample space and seating. The staff are warm and welcoming and quite knowledgeable about the offerings (Marissa gave Spot-on recommendations). The menu is wonderful with an emphasis on a café type fare--sandwiches, salads and baked items galore. We had a French Dip sandwich and a turkey wrap which were both beautifully presented, well constructed, flavorful and filling. All meal items are served on small aluminum baking pans lined with butcher paper and came with sides of our choice. We both opted for their cole slaw which was unique (golden raisins and I think shredded fennel along with shredded cabbage and carrots) and tasty. Would have been a five star review but the seating is hard (no cushioned seating) and it was uncomfortable for us travelers. Regardless, I would come straight here for our first stop in town--highly recommend!

The floor where they come from the kitchen and in front of the drink station is greasy. It’s very slippery. I know because I e worked in the food industry and I can see the mop bucket sitting there all day without being changed. It’s disgusting. Hot SOAPY water needs to be used to mop the floor and dumped after each use. The mop headed needs to be changed weee and properly cleaned EVERY night. This is So important and shows care for one’s ability to do things right which means that other cleaning in the restaurant is done right. Just by how they mop their floors does it tell how clean the rest of the place is.

We needed a lunch stop on a long drive so we Googled fast food places in Red Bluff close to I-5. We found this highly recommended little jewel in downtown. The ambience and the menu made me think this place was an upscale cafe. Although the food is excellent, I was disappointed to discover it is actually an upscale fast food restaurant. Customers place their order and pay for it at the cashier counter. Then they go to another area to get any tableware, condiments, etc. they might want and then find an open table. We have been going here consistently for a couple of years and recommending to friends as well. We also go to the one in Redding. As of this year, we’ve noticed the portions of meat in the French dip are not as generous as the portions are at the Redding restaurant. Tonight (in Red Bluff) we had their chicken pot pie. We’ve had this numerous times but the last couple of times and especially today, the mushrooms were cut in unappetizing sizes, they were absolutely huge and the chicken was sparse. When we left we decided they should rename the soup to Mushroom pot pie. Also, the truffle fries are delicious but again, the one in Redding serves a more generous portion of fries than the Red Bluff restaurant. I’d like to note the truffle fries are not cheap. We don’t mind paying the price if we get the serving that justifies it.

I consulted Yelp and the best looking choice was From the Hearth.We went on over and began our visit. The menu is pretty limited but the food is locally sourced with good quality ingredients.They are also a bakery and use only honey to sweeten their breads but the only pastries and cinnamon rolls etc.. that are available are the ones sitting on the counter by the register that are covered in flies.The prices were reasonable for a small town so we all ordered and sat down for breakfast.The food came out quickly but not all at the same time and the coffees were quite good. After breakfast, I was able to enjoy a 22oz bottle of Alpha Centauri IPA brewed by Hop Valley. I mean heck. I was still on vacation and subsequently not driving either so what the hey?If I ever find myself cruising through Red Bluff in the AM hours again, I will most likely stop in for some refreshment but since I live in Washington, that scenario is unlikely.If you live in Red Bluff or are passing by, make sure to give this little place some love. I always get the seared ahi sandwich, without bacon and I can never finish my fries. Its really good and very filling. They have two vegitarian options; a black bean burger and a grilled cheese. Smoothies and coffees are delicious.

Former Employee so take it as you will.Heres a list of ingredients that is processed and bought in as opposed to fresh. This could mean frozen, peeled, etc. Already processed food that youre paying for, basically. The garlic, the Ahi Tuna, the chicken strips, the biscuits come from a box, the chicken in the salads both grilled and the shredded chicken salad are made days in advance and cut up to be scooped later, the ranch is packaged so just go to your local grocery store and add a few jalapanos and extra paprika and boom. The meat for the French Dip and the Philly cheese steaks is frozen, as well as the pork sausage and like i said, the Ahi Tuna which costs 12.49$. The bread is delivered daily and the drinks are fantastic, the girls are doing a killer job. And so are the chefs for that matter. That is, each one is doing the best with what theyve got. Much like how the front of house is gorgeous and presentable, the back is a bit of a different story. Not only is the kitchen cramped in terms of space but the measures taken in terms of cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. I take responsibility for being negligent during my time spent there. Simply from what I saw and other peoples experience being there. While it may have been dealt with since i was fired in June, there is a cockroach problem and until one man took it upon himself to scrape years of gunk off walls to some progress, the place has decreased its standards over my time spent there. However there is one specific example of negligence under management that I would like to share with all of you. In the Basic Food Safety Course that every Chef is forced to take it makes very plainly clear the dangers of cross contamination. So when I saw cooked gravy next to raw meat, I very quickly brought this up not once, but twice to management. And I bet if you were to look to this day, you would find gravy next to raw meat. And the only feedback I ever got after fixing it for the fifth time was to put a note on the refrigerator to remind everyone. This review might be deleted, so Ive made sure to keep it backed up because it needs to be said. My personal beef with the restaurant aside, I really genuinely think FTH is not as good as everyone says, and that theyre laughing at customers behind their back. But the bread is good and so are the staff. Drinks are nice too. 2/5Oh, and the Hollandaise is NOT FRESH. It comes in a bottle.

I was very disappointed today when I went to the Red Bluff location. I was taken aback by the lack of concern for Covid-19. People were in line without mask and not 6 feet apart. While the people working there did have a mask the overall attentiveness to cleanliness was a concern.After two separate people ordered and had been leaning on the counter, there was no effort to wipe the counter. I was concern about the overall attentiveness and lack of wearing mask by the customers in line so I left.

One of my favorite spots in all of Red Bluff! Everything on their menu is delicious; soups, salads, sandwiches, its all great! Its got the vibe of Panera Bread (but much nicer) with a variety of food options, pastries and coffee. But they also have beer and wine and host paint night. My mom and I did a glow in the dark jelly fish canvas and it was surprisingly fun. I also love that they have a few different options for sides, instead of just the usual fries or chips. In fact the pesto pasta is my fav. I recommend the Green Goddess soup or the chicken salad on croissant.

My sandwich was soggy and lukewarm by 300 which was the time my order was supose to be picked up. I was not late. They said they would remake. They reheated instead, and the sandwich became a giant mess and barely had and filling inside. Save yourself the trouble and just throw your money out the window and not go.

Almost no vegetarian options at all. One of the better options in the area as the quality is pretty decent. But the menu is seriously disappointing if you don’t eat meat. They had one veggie panini and they took it off the menu. This is California guys, get with the program.

Great sandwiches! I wish there was consistency between locations. Collegeview Dr grills the bread for the Pulled Pork: Excellent! Red Bluff serves it on cold un-grilled or toasted bread...big difference in the taste..

Amazing! The Benedict is very good and I can see why their sourdough bread is award winning. I asked for ranch on the side, and the cook personally brought me their homemade ranch AND their homemade jalapeño ranch too that I didnt even know about. The jalapeño ranch turned out to be so amazing I didnt even touch the regular but I assume that was great as well. Overall, definitely stop here to eat, and ask for the jalapeño ranch.

I came in while there was no other costumers, after ordering I sat down to wait. Three couples had come in(at separate times) and recieved thier food and after the third,I asked if I could get refunded because I had been waiting an etreamly long time. The cook came out to ask if he should start it,I couldnt believe that it wasnt even made. This was my first time going and it was not a great experience.

I dont know how they make there fries but its definitely working for them. French dip is also good and they dont hold back on the fries either. You have to purchase the drinks on the side doesnt come with your meal

Dont ask for the bowls. I had the seared ahi tuna bowl. No flavour, no dressing. Only rice, cabbage, carrot. Raw.And the tuna.... well, you dont want to try it.
