I searched online for bankruptcy attorneys and each one were cold, very curt or didnt seem interested in my debt level. Gary was the only one who from the moment you talk to him makes you feel like youre talking to a friend, not an attorney.He calmed my nerves, explained the process and even suggested the reasons why bankruptcy wasnt my best option in his opinion, which I agree. He also is funny, warm and very knowledgeable so you know hes a master of his profession.Ultimately you want someone who doesnt treat you like a commission and while he could have simply pushed me to bankruptcy and took my money he treated me like a human deserving respect and gave me alternative. I have peace of mind and it was a pleasure talking with Gary. Ill always send my friends to him if they live in CA and need his help. Highly recommend!

I have been struggling to find an attorney to help me with a complex case involving auto loan bank fraud, predatory lending, unauthorized debit and credit cards, identity theft, and inside bank crime. I reached out to multiple attorneys, but either they couldn’t take the case or weren’t willing to listen to me. Going through my first bankruptcy with Gary made my experience go very smoothly. The process went by pretty quickly. Im someone who was embarrassed to be filling bankruptcy, however Fraley and Fraley was very informative, non-judge-mental and supportive during the less then two month process. I had to write this review. Gary is awesome! I came to him after I already talked with another attorney about a debt settlement and being sued by the collector. The other attorney told me it would cost anywhere from $600-$1000 to negotiate with the collector and that did not necessarily mean they would lower the debt amount. I decided to shop around for a second opinion and to compare rates. And I’m really glad I did. I contacted Frayley & Frayley PC Sacramento and Gary ended up helping me out. He was fair, straightforward and knowledgeable. He let me know my options and the best way to handle the debt settlement. That Hiring a lawyer to negotiate and settle the debt would incur more costs than it’s worth. He suggested that I needed to provide an answer by letter to the court to allow myself more time to negotiate. And he offered to write up the reply to the court summons for free! He saved me money and time and didn’t try to sell me his services. In fact he advised against hiring him and gave me a free solution. Thanks again Gary for your help!

I was a bit nervous when I found out I was being sued, but Im extremely happy that Fraley and Fraley contacted me through the mail when they found out a suit had been filed. I had no idea what to do, so getting that letter gave me someplace to turn.I scheduled my appointment, and they got me in very quickly. I met with Mr. Fraley and couldnt have been more pleased with him. He wasnt intimidating, he explained everything simply and clearly, and didnt try to rush me in and out.He was very thorough in going over my situation, and he actually gave me advice that was in MY best interest, not his. Rather than trying to up sell me and get me to declare bankruptcy, he advised me to wait, submit my answer to the suit (which he prepared for me for free by the way), and see if my situation changes before acting.This being my first time having to talk to a lawyer, I have to say I was very pleased with the service. The staff in this group are very helpful, not just at the onset of your bankruptcy, but throughout the duration. We sought help in filing for bankruptcy. Brian explained to us the nuances of each type and helped guide us to which one was best for us. In the end, we filed a chapter 13 with a 5-year repayment plan for the vehicles we kept. A year later, I was contacted by my ex-husband requesting help with a previous debt. Dana, a representative with Fraley & Fraley, gladly acted as the intermediary so that I did not have to speak directly with my ex (we despise each other). A couple of years after that, we met with Gary at the firm to discuss options that suited our current situation (change in income, student loan debt, etc). The help I got in filing bankruptcy was amazingly, from the first office visit to going to court.I had a foreclosure date of June 5,2013 on June 3rd I was looking into doing a short sale but I wanted to keep my home and at the last minute I decided to file for bankruptcy that when I found a flyer from Fraley & Fraley. I call the office on June 4, 2013 told the receptionist my situation I got an appointment the same day, to my surprise. Later that day I was in the office filing my papers for bankruptcy to save my home. I’m sure often people come into these types of situations with a lot of questions and they want to get their Bankruptcy done, but Gary talked to me and said that I should wait and hopefully not ever need to do a bankruptcy. I appreciated his time and honesty and he let me know that bankruptcies aren’t bad, but I didn’t need one for my situation. January February nothing was happening with my case ! Think they had a turn over in office personnel!March Covid-19 hit and I assumed That all business where closed. They ask for a deposit, but they do not tell you that its not refundable; even if you ask for it back via email on the same day that you gave it to them.Theyll also tell you that you can file Chapter 7, but later theyll tell you that you dont qualify. Again, ask for a refund and you are coldly told: We will honor our contract.They took $2700 from me after a free consultation by ensuring me that it was just a deposit.When they admitted that their attorneys were quitting and that the receptionist(s) were fired for using drugs, I should have known better.Their response to this post proves that they believe the customer is always wrong and they prefer to take instead of earn money.

I told Mr. Fraley that there was a lien on my property on our initial meeting. He assured me he will take care of this during the bankruptcy and I trusted that he would. I never spoke to him after that. I called and email several times asking how he will take care of this, I had to tell the story many times to the receptionist and the paralegal. Even thou I called and asked I can’t even remember how many times, nothing was done regarding this. My Bk was discharged and this problem was still there. I emailed and called in the following months with NO answer. The only answer I got was that Blanca was swamped and she will get back to me when she is available. I did not call a few times .... I emailed and called every week for over two months.... i begged for an answer or even they refer me to another attorney and nothing. After many sleepless nights and numerous emails, I found another attorney. As it turns out, my new attorney explained in a few minutes what the problem was and got it resolved in less than an hour with a few phone calls. I would not recommend Fraley & Fraley to anyone! This is more than lack of professionalism, it’s lack of ethics.
