Our family loves to come to this old school theater! Staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Pricing on tickets and concessions are great and the bathrooms are always clean. We love the small town feel!

This is an awesome Historic Theater that first opened in May of 1928! It is a smaller theater but its nice you cant beat the prices matinee $4 after that $6. Its a great little vintage theater its like a walk back in time. I Love this place and will definitely be back. Affordable prices and great friendly workers and a cozy, clean theater! You cant go wrong by taking a walk back in time!

Typical movie experiences for me are stadium style seating with assigned luxury recliners in wide rooms with huge screens.Visiting the area with time to waste, I saw Haunted Mansion starting in 20mins and Id figured Id give it a try. Was overly surprised by the experience and may go again for non-Blockbuster movies when local. The 4k screen and sound quality were good. Food prices were about normal to me, but you save on the ticket price though. Having to get my food and walk out to The Ally and punch in a code to enter the theater was a new experience!Tips: if getting nachos and love cheese, get an extra cheese cup. Also, if you have messy food, eat fast during the trailers because when lights go out, may be harder to see the food due to seats blocking screen light.Cons: Please fix the door handle for its a struggle to open. Cant imagine having full hands trying to open it. Was warned when I got my food. If I didnt know, Id probably bang on door or go back and ask for help.Went: Saturday early afternoon and had my choice of seats. Chose the back to not have to angle my head up so much.

Small little theater in the middle of Banning. Ticket prices are really good. We paid $5 each. The seats are comfortable with minimal recline. Not the greatest but they do the job. Snacks and drink prices are not bad either.Overall very cool and unique theater with 1950s(?) vibes.

Everytime I call the theater I have to talk to a dumb robot and gives you very limited options. Theres no option to talk to a person and ask any question I want. All the robot keeps asking if I want to know the times when the movie starts or if Id like to get a text message about if Id like to know when the movie starts!! So dumb!!!

Ive been spoiled by luxury theaters. This small theater has comfortable seats but they only recline a bit when you lean back. Snack prices were reasonable. Restroom was not wheelchair friendly. So small I had to leave my chair outside and hobble in. The staff was very courteous and ticket prices were very reasonable also. Regular price is less expensive than luxury theater matinee prices, for first run movies. When Im in Cabazon visiting the kids, well definitely visit again.

Its a vintage non stadium seating theater so you get what you pay for really. Good prices all around and It has modern equipment and everything was remodeled about 10 years ago but seats are still nothing compared to more expensive stadium theaters. Its good to take your kids to see kid friendly movies but unless youre going to see a R rated movie or chick flick you probably will be interrupted by loud kids so dont expect a quiet theater if your planning on actually watching a kid friendly movie that kids go to. So if youre serious about really watching a movie thats kid friendly go to another more expensive theater. This theater attracts local loud kids because its cheap.

Well... it was affordable ($5 each for matinee). And the Sony 4K experience was nice. And the general low-key nature and friendly staff was nice. Didnt know they didnt take card until I got to the window (had to go inside and use an ATM to get cash)...also, took quite some time to get the movie going (technical difficulties?)...they eventually just skipped previews and went right into movie. Will visit again when in town...but my expectations have been slightly lowered.

I still like that this historical Fox threater got restored/renovated because its in good use. We drive out of the Coachella Valley just to come to this cool smaller threater on historical Route 99/60/70. Prices are cool, service is okay, arcade is okay. Wednesday deals are real cool, and gives you a great reason to support this small historical Fox threater.

I have be coming to this theater for 30 years, since I was a little kid. It is very clean and the staff is super friendly. We have always had a great experience.Has cheap prices so its affordable to bring the entire family to see a movie and still get popcorn.It is also a famous historical movie theater so I think its real neat to look at all the old pictures and see how the place has changed over so many years.

5 stars, considering the low price of admission. This is not a new, high end theater, but a nicely renovated old one with $6 adult admission. Picture quality is very good, as is the sound quality. Treats and popcorn are affordable, and there is a small arcade in front as well.

Gave it one star because I can’t go lowerThis place is full of rude people got there a little early to purchase tickets told me I couldn’t get them until 15 min before the movie it was freezing outside the security guy told us to come in because we had our kids after waiting 30 min there was a line outside no one told us they we had to buy our tickets outside since the booth in the front was closed we had to stand in the back of the line didn’t get good seats got stuck in front of two adults kicking my chair rude attendants at the Concession stand to get drinks and popcorn I know movie Theaters aren’t the cleanest but this place is down right Filthy it’s an older movie theater but that’s no excuse. The prices are cheap but I guess u get what you pay for but it’s not worth it for rudeInconsiderate People and no common Courtesy.

I love coming to this theater, Im a regular here! Its small (2 big screens in the main building, 1 small screen in the alley), the staff is excellent, and the overall retro classic style of the theater is a big plus for me. Cheap prices for the newest movies in 4K, $4 for showings before 5 PM and $6 after 5 PM, plus Wednesdays are $4 all day. Cheap prices on the food, too! The only (small) downside is that they only take cash, no debit or credit cards. But nonetheless Ill continue going here for as long as they exist!

I was so excited to get back to the movies, so a friend and I attended an evening movie last night at the Fox theater in Banning since they recently opened back up. Let me start by saying that I’ve attended movies there since they remodeled the theater many, many years ago. The prices were always fair, staff was friendly and the concessions were fairly priced and they had fantastic popcorn. We discovered upon arrival that the theater had changed ownership a few months before the pandemic hit so its looks likes its been closed down off and on during the pandemic. Let me start by saying, they have some improvements to make. The prices are still fair, the one staff that ran the concessions was friendly, but the popcorn was not very good, my package of candy had expired four months ago, and the movie theater had a strange smell, not just musty smelling from being closed. I’m hoping the new owner makes some improvements in these areas because I would love to support our locally owned businesses if possible. Especially since they are about to open a new theater in Beaumont. Yes the prices will most likely be higher but those items I mentioned will need to improve if the Fox wants to keep patrons coming to their theater.

Small vintage theatre with decent prices and friendly staff. Enjoyed my experience overall. There were a party of about 20 minors were there on a Friday evening showing causing quite a disturbance in the theater. A gentleman that was with his wife approached the children asking if there would be a problem which quieted them for a bit. Then eventually he had to go get one of the two employees to tell them to stop running in the front rows which helped the noise level. I will return on a night other than Friday 😉

This is a two movie cash only renovated theater that plays new shows for cheap. $5 before 5pm daily. I suggest not going at night as Banning has an unfortunate homeless and drug problem right now and it doesnt feel safe. The seats are comfortable and the sound has always been perfect.

The retro architecture makes it extra fun - the popcorn is delicious and fresh!The price on Wednesday is only $2.50 – you can’t get that price anywhere I know of – also Wednesday special is – buy a large popcorn and get a large drink free!Customer service is Always Awesome!!!We have been going there since 2001 – we hope it will never change their retro building to a modern design – that would just make my heart sink.This theater is a must go!!!

It was great overall, the employees were friendly, the price of the movie was great at only $6 for an evening showing, and it was a great experience overall.My biggest pet peeve, and the reason for the -2 stars, is because theyre cash only. Sure, they have an ATM to pull cash out from and all, but because its not an ATM by my bank, you are charged a $3.50 service fee to use said ATM and then my bank charges a $2 fee for using a non-bank ATM. Basically, the $20 I pulled out from their ATM turned into a $25 transaction.If they accepted cards at their registers, and even charged a $1 fee per transaction for using card at registers for your purchases, non-cash holders such as myself would be much happier going here.

This is a great hometown movie theatre with plenty of parking and discounted tickets on Wednesdays. The place only takes cash but they do have an ATM machine inside. Theyve updated their equipment and projector to 4K resolution. If you want to see a popular movie on day one I recommend coming 2 hours early because seating is scarce.

This is the go-to theater for my family. Wonderful gem of a theater, with good sound, clean floors and seats, and large screens for watching first run movies. Wednesdays are $3 movie days, which works out great if you have larger families. Be ready for a line on Wednesday, especially in the summer! But we have never had a bad seat. The center aisle is off-set in both theaters, so there is a preferred side to sit on depending on which theater you are in. I have never been in the smaller third theater. Lots of street parking across the street. Cash-only, which seems to be a hang-up for some. Hit up the ATM before coming over, and think about how much you are saving while watching the show!

This place is a blast from the past. The exterior is modern yet retro. It feels like Im going back in time with the comfort of modern air conditioning lol. There is usually a limited selection of movies a week and it sucks that they are always changing them but they are always the newest ones, so you cant really complain. New/current movies at less than half of the price at most movie theaters, its a dream come true. The seats are comfortable and the pricing is the best part I think. Its no cinemark but it has a mom-and-pop feel to it and its actually really nice. I thought it would be really run-down because of the pricing but it was nice and clean. I recommend it, I mean you cant beat $4-$6 for a movie.

Ive seen maybe a dozen movies here and ten were fantastic.Two sucked.A lady had three YOUNG kids in Batman Lego and one was starving and screaming crying constantly, she would not leave and told me I was an a-hole for asking her toquit ruining the movie for everybody. Also cant buy tickets ahead of time, they only open the doors about 20-25 min.s before the movie starts. As seniors, my friends and I appreciate the Wednesday specials. However, when necessary, we sometimes need to drop off those who are handicapped, and it seems that the theaters unloading zone parking spot is always occupied. It seems that employees (and the owner?) use this unloading area for parking their personal vehicles. It would be appreciated if the loading zone were to be able to be used for what it is intended for.

Better than before, they accept card now instead of just cash. They also upgraded their slushie machine as well. Upgrades aren’t the worse, the always are meant to improve something or do the best they can. Meaning yes there is are new owners and one of them I met. Great guy, allowed me to get the popcorn after hours and didn’t charge me. My grandpa is worried of covid but he sure loved the popcorn from the theater. Overall, definitely deserving of 5 stars.Also they do their best to follow covid rules. Also cheaper ticket for a dollar if bought online.

The Classic Fox Experience!!! There is something to be said about the nostalgic feeling we get when we come here. I Love the fact its location sits on a main strip. The tickets are bought cash and affordably low priced. It has a small arcade and the staff here is friendly. But the kicker here is the comfort of the standard theater when watching Amazing SONY HD (Possibly 4K) projections. The sound is awesome as well! Lets keep this place going and the pass area growing! This gorgeous, historic Spanish Colonial style theater was built in 1928 for William Fox (Fox FIlm Corporation). I enjoyed weekly double features here on Sunday afternoons in the early 50s. The renovation (2009) was meticulous and tasteful, retaining the original grandeur but bringing the theater fully into modernity. Prices are ridiculously low, films are current, and the experience is unfailingly positive. This gem is the perfect family theater!

You cant beat this theaters price, the popcorn is good and reasonably priced, and the theaters themselves are very nice (but small). The problem lies with how many babies are allowed into the theater! Every time I have gone here, there have been very young children from the ages of 0-6. I have yet to visit this place and have the movie run uninterrupted by a crying baby. Even when I went to see Halloween, there were MANY children, including TWO young babies and at least ten children from the ages of 4-7. This was in an R-rated movie with graphic gore, blood, and violence!!Not sure if this is a problem staff can fix, so Ill do my own PSA: Stop bringing your newborn children and toddlers to the movies!

The Fox Theatre is my favorite theater in the area. If the movie I want to see is playing there, I go there every time. This theater has three screens so they are limited on the number of movies they play each week, but they play current movies and their weekly selection usually has one movie that will appeal to each audience (ie. children, women and men.) The Wednesday night deal is great but it does get really crowded. The prices are completely reasonable every day, even if you dont go on Wednesday. To me though, the best part of this theater is the staff. They are always so friendly and eager to assist. If you havent been to the Fox yet, you should definitely try it out!

One major complaint... the movie goers who are thoughtless, lazy, inconsiderate and could care less if someone has to clean up after their mess, i.e., popcorn, drinks, wrappers etc., or that other movie goers cant avoid stepping in their mess before the staff cleans up after the movie is over... An excellent place to take the family for a movie. First run movies - very clean prints - at second run prices, Seats are comfortable, the staff is courteous, snacks are fresh. Minor drawbacks are the tiny 3rd theater, outside lines for weekend matinees, and no 3D to the movies. But, as a father of young kids, its a great value, and you dont miss the 3D.

Had to change my rating because we went to see avengers end game Friday April 26 for the 9:45 showing and in the middle of the movie it shut off!! Took them 30 minutes to fix. Basically skipped some of the movie. No refunds or apologies. So unprofessional. Staff Yelling at customers for being upset that we missed 30 minutes of the movie we paid for! Do not expect to have any elbow room here u will definately sit next to strangers because the theater is so small. i have witnessed people almost have confrontations over seats here. there are only about 3-4 showings a day and u cant purchase a ticket early. which means u have to show up about a half hour in advance if u dont want to wait in the line for ur ticket. the movie theater is just too small for my taste and it seems like the whole city of banning and beaumont comes out for every show so the theater always reaches capacity

Me and my family love this place and we drive all the way from Redlands just to see a movie because of the affordability compared to Krikorian in Redlands. We would wrather spend $20.00 and use $3-5 bucks on gas then spend $30-60 bucks. We like the remodeling that theyve done with the old place looks really good. I also like how you cant camp outside for a movie and have the line go around the block like some of these other theatres do.

Im from LAs westside, the worldwide Mecca of movieland, so Ive really seen it all, and THiS is one of my favorite theatres! Sure, no reclining seats and the screens are fairly small, but you forget that as soon as the lights dim. Theres no huge corporate vibe (ugh!).. this place is the real deal.
