Had a Marriott rewards certificate that was expiring so we decided to use it for a night here. This Sheraton Four Points hotel is in a great location, lovely building, and has so much potential but the overall services and amenities is lackluster. Front desk staff could care less that you’re Marriott Gold Elite because this is a Sheraton right? Guest rooms are huge but with only a desk light and a night stand light, the large room is so dim at night you think you’re in a medieval dungeon. The wood bed corner post is so sharp I accidentally banged my leg and it left a scar. They thought of blocking out light from outside with blackout curtains, but not the inside bright light from the wall thermostat. What use are the two upright chairs in the rooms and a small stand table? A sofa and a coffee table would be more used for sitting and eating in the room. Several dining tables in the back of the hotel front lobby are good to eat outside food until you get shooed away by the restaurant staff. So where are guests supposed to eat take out food? Water pressure in the shower was low perhaps since we were on the third floor. Overall, what a disappointing experience at a Sheraton Four Points. I’ll use my Marriott rewards exclusively on Marriott properties in the future.

The stay here was truly one of kind. Quaint mountainous background and very peaceful at night. The rooms were immaculate and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Furthermore, the food and beverage menu was outstanding. Will definitely be coming back here today again. For the price and location, it was perfect and Santa Cruz is only a 20-30 minute drive away. I could not ask for a better hotel to stay.

Beautiful upscale hotel. The room was perfect. Side note we stayed on the 1st floor and when someone closes the door its pretty loud (Im a light sleeper). We ordered from the hotel food service and my salmon was perfectly cooked. It was a good stay. The staff was very welcoming. I worked with Pete mostly over the phone and when we arrived he was there to greet us which was nice to put a voice to a face. I recommend this hotel 😊

I was initially hesitant to book a stay at the Sheraton Hotel due to reviews from 3-4 months ago but decided to give it a try, hoping for improvements.I called 24 hours ahead to request a room on the first floor for my two young children. Despite this, we were assigned a room on the second floor upon check-in.The room temperature was set to 76°F, which I adjusted to 70°F for our comfort. However, after five hours, it remained at 76°F, with the air filter emitting only weak airflow.At night, the room felt stuffy, cooler outside than inside. My family and I ended up kicking off our covers due to the discomfort.The bathroom was particularly uncomfortable, with no air circulation making it very stuffy.Additionally, the bed frame had sharp corners that my kids and I frequently bumped into, resulting in painful scabs on my knees.While the room was clean and the staff were friendly, I likely won’t stay here again.

Nice little town. Hotel was comfortable with a nice bar inside our bartender was excellent. Staff was friendly upon check in. One thing to mention on the downside are the doors slam so in the early morning there is a bit of noise. Other than that a nice place to stay.

My good friend and I are both 18 year old girls, travelling for one night, by ourselves, to enjoy the beach. We booked a 2 queen bedroom a week before our trip, paid $170 in advance. We overviewed the hotel website and all the policies, and even booked with protection for our reservation, which was an addition cost, that we made through expedia. When arriving at the Hotel we went to the front desk and told them of our reservation and gave them my ID. I was then told that my friend and I cannot stay at the hotel because we arent 21. When asking why they just said it was hotel policy. I explained that no where on the site said that you must be 21, and they told me that they are very aware and just havent bothered to update their website or tell expedia and other travel agencies of their policy. Having to be 21 makes no sense, we are both legal adults, plus we were not informed of the age requirment, not due to our lack of investigation, but because of the hotels lack of care, and minimal effort on keeping their guests informed. We were conpliemt and said we will leave if they give us a full refund for their mistake. We were refused a refund and are now out nearly $200 for their lack of info, which they knew they were not supplying. We asked for a mananger, who then refused to speak with us and made the Concierge talk to us. He told us to come back when another manager is there, even though he knew we were leaving the next day. We were poliet and compleint and still denied a room or refund. We were forced to pay over $200 to find a place to sleep that night. And paid $170 for a room we never got. The staff is rude, the website is completely wrong and doesnt have any current info, and the managers wont even speak to their own guests. This hotel is beautiful but please keep in mind what you see on the website isnt true.

I am not one to leave reviews normally but hopefully this review will be helpful to someone looking to stay here. I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a wedding block, the discount for the block brought the room down to $179 a night, however they let me know that their normal prices range from $150-$250 per night for the room I was in.The room was not great for getting ready in for a wedding, awful lighting and poor ventilation in the bathroom. The edges of the bed were sharp and protruding and I ran into them like 10 times. We were told upon check-in that we could request a microwave anytime, yet after we asked 3 times we were told that only the suites get a microwave and we could only use the one in the lobby.The turn-down service left food and trash on the room floor. There was also a human trafficking scare and a domestic violence incident during my 3-day stay there; not necessarily the hotels responsibility but worth mentioning. There was no continental breakfast and the menu was expensive and bland. I have stayed at Marriots before and was very happy, I think for the price per night I just expected better customer service and accommodations. I have reached out to the office and hace received an apology.

We lost power at home after the last big storm and had to move out after a couple of days so we went to the 4 points in Scotts Valley. The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant crew members were all super helpful and the manager Pete was incredibly flexible with us as PG&E kept pushing out our repair completion estimates day after day. Pete let us stay with flexibility to check out whenever our home power came on and he gave us a really awesome rate. One week later we were finally able to pack up and head home. We’ll be sure to recommend this hotel to others. Thanks, Pete!

I recently stayed at this hotel for a short staycation and it was the most relaxed Ive felt. The room was a king sized suite with plenty of space, a nice sized tub and shower with a water fall type shower head (best kind)!Most may say what is missing is a pool within the patio area, but to be quite honest I rather not be at a hotel with screaming kids running around out in the pool. I also feel it detracts from the nature thats around the area. You can hear the creek near by which is nice.The food is great. Their dinner plates are tasteful. Love their fries! In the morning my partner and I ordered the breakfast sandwiches and they were really good! No need to travel away from there to go get food, but if you feel a need to, theres local spots that are just a few minutes of a drive from the hotel.I loved having the tub in the suite so I was able to soak before bed. The fact its away from the shower and spacious enough compared to other hotels that are usually crammed together is a plus for me.Their staff was inviting and very kind. I understand being in customer service industry is tough and you get a variety of people, but for them being able to still show up in a positive manner was really appreciated!If you are staying and wanting to venture out a bit, Santa Cruz is just about a 15 minute drive South of the hotel with plenty of shops and site seeing to do! If youre wanting to get away from the city and be in nature, you can head up the mountain just about 10 minutes up into Felton and visit Henry Cowell State Park! Beautiful place to check out some redwoods.Id stay here again for a small staycation but it can be suitable for wedding guests or business people as well!

MOLD in the comforter! This was after I had already slept a full night in the moldy comforter. Inspect your blankets before using them or just dont stay here at all. This was so disgusting and looks even worse in person.When I went downstairs to tell the employees that it had made me sick (nonstop vomiting) as well as sneezing and burning eyes at 11:30pm they apologized, confirmed it was mold and said we should expect a refund in the morning for the stay.The next morning, we showed another associate and they also confirmed it was mold and asked us to send them the picture. Then the manager came out and told us that they were just bring feathers in the comforter and that this happens often and it is not mold. This is definitely mold, feathers wouldnt be in the seams of the blanket or have small dots. Also, if this happens often and IF what the manager was saying was the truth, then the looks on the face of the staff wouldnt have been as mortified as we are and they also would have told us they were just feathers as well.I will be reporting this hotel to the state and county as this is a public health issue and people should not have to worry about leaving their vacation sick due to lack of safety and sanitation standards.

This was our second time staying at this location. The first time we stayed here we were so tired from our travels so we didnt mind the fast non friendly check-in. This last time we stayed. The same gentleman was there. I know we all get tired and have bad days but he is so not welcoming at all. I can deal with the lack of customer service but he was not helpful at all. As we were check-in the card reader was having issues. It kept saying chip error on our end. I tried three cards and all three said the same thing. So obviously it was the card reader. The gentleman just stood there and said in a non helpful way. Im not sure what to do its not working. I asked if there was a manager or if we could enter the card in manually he replied with a fast and rude No, I cant. I understand protocol but the lack of warm customer service is super important during times of technology error. After about 10 minutes waiting I insisted he allowed us to enter the card in manually which worked on the first try. Super sad this was our last experience here. We love the hotel and location but this last experience makes us want to stay elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I stayed here and it was great. The check-in person was kind and upgraded us to a very nice room. The hotel also looks really nice, which we both really liked. Pretty good location, great for everything we wanted to do. Overall, really good hotel.

We did not have a good experience at this hotel. Luckily we were only staying 1 night. Arrived around 10pm to find all the parking was full. When we returned to the front desk they said to park in the back of the car wash next door. She then pointed to the opposite side of the hotel that the car wash ended up being on. The map they gave us was so unclear we couldnt figure out where they were talking about. There were others trying to find the parking too and were just as frustrated as us with the process. There was also a big party in the bar/restaurant area that was going strong well after 10pm (probably why there was no parking) . Our room was not the king suite with the separate room we had booked, everything was run down, broken bathroom door, chipped tub, loud on the 2nd floor late into the night, my kids said the sofa bed was the worst bed theyve ever slept on and the comforters were all lumpy with the filling. For the price we expected much more and will definitely not be returning.

This is a real place. Its not the cookie cutter Marriot down brand experience sweeping the nation. I stay in a hundred hotels a year, mostly Marriot properties, and it was great to stay somewhere that was big, had a bar, had leather couches, had people being themselves at the front desk and restaurant. I have grown tired of the homogeneous experience of the Fairfield, courtyard, etc. and this place felt like an old school hotel that has been renovated to have a little bit of a resort feel. And depending on who you come its dirt cheap! Bravo 4pts.

We had such a wonderful stay we wished we could have stayed longer. We loved the California mission style decor and vibe (so classy and relaxing), the spaciousness of the rooms, the lushness of the surrounds, and the fact that we could open the balcony doors and enjoy the breeze. We had a suite, and Im not sure Ive ever stayed in such a large room with so many places to sit and so many windows. The shower was enormous, and the stand alone tub was a nice addition.The staff was friendly and helpful. We like the location too: close enough to Santa Cruz to enjoy everything, but away from the hustle and bustle and high prices. We would definitely stay again!

No customer service. Apparently when you book a king suite you may or may not get one that has a door to separate the rooms as shown on the website. Front desk said I should have called if I wanted the room that I reserved. Staff really just doesn’t care. It’s obviously a common problem that happens and yet they don’t do anything about it when booking/website.Walls are really thin (can hear neighbors TV all night and kids running around the halls), pull out bed is all springs, thermostat light illuminates the entire room all night,

Had a pleasant stay at the Four Points in Scott’s Valley. The staff was very accommodating and upgraded me to a great suite. The lobby was creatively decorated for Christmas. My only disappointment was the restaurant and bar was closed on a Thursday evening and breakfast that was supposed to start at six was delayed and I missed it.

Very nice property for a mid-level brand in the Marriott family. Rooms on the first floor have 10’ ceilings. The rooms are fresh and bright and clean. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had delightful water pressure. Shower amenities are large refillable bottles (great scent and seemingly high quality) versus the damaging sample sizes that used to be so common.The lobby is large and comfortable, with a huge outdoor patio and plenty of seating. Free parking is easy to access around the hotel. The setting in Scotts Valley (aside from being on a main road) is still beautiful, surrounded by the Santa Cruz mountains and it’s majestic redwoods.The front desk team were always friendly and welcoming and only enhanced our stay here. Nicely done. The only thing on my wish list was a more comfy, softer mattress…but i still had a good night of rest. I recommend this property!

I stayed at this hotel for work for two nights. Room 150. The room was ok. However when I went to use the microwave to warm food it was not connected to an electrical outlet so I could not use it. Same goes for their coffee machine. So I was not able to use any of it. And I would had plugged it in however there did not seem to be an outlet on the table it was sitting on. Was not going to carry it either. Needs to be addressed.The room seemed very dark even with the lighting they had. The heater seemed to take some time to heat the room up. At least 24 hours. This could however be due to the 10 feet vaulted ceilings they have.The bed seemed ok. You definitely could feel the springs when you turned from side to side. Did not eat the breakfast was not going pay 20 dollars for hotel breakfast. I feel breakfast should be included in the price of the hotel. That is just my opinion.Would I come back to this hotel? Maybe if there were definitely some updates in the rooms themselves. Service at the beginning of me entering the hotel was ok. Was not very awe moment. 1st impressions are the best impressions.

My client stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. She couldnt say enough great things about it. The rooms were clean, service were great and the property was beautiful and perfectly located. Close enough to the beach and hiking paths.As a travel advisor, I was very grateful to the staff who helped me give her a memorable experience, also for accommodating my request for a special treat at the bar to thank her for the business. When you come back with these flying colors, you have a travel advisor going to suggest your hotel to more clients. She even mentioned that it would be a great venue for a wedding!

We stay at this hotel the weekend before the 4th of July. The hotel is very pretty and the rooms too. We got checked in by a very nice lady with dark hair, I don’t recall her name but she was the best. So sad for the rest of the incidents. I told the morning people at the front desk twice that the coffee maker didn’t work, they promised to replace it and never did. Only 2 cups for coffee in the room the day we arrived and forget the other days, we didn’t bother since we didn’t have a workable coffee maker. Housekeeping: room never got clean and towels never got changed, never picked up trash from room (good thing we didn’t have much). On Sunday afternoon I met the housekeeper in the hallway and ask for 4 towels (we pay for 4 guests) and the housekeeper said very rude she can only give me 3 because that is how they do it, that if I wanted 4 I need to call the front desk which I had to do to have one towel each. The water in the shower stop as soon as we put on our shampoo and keep stopping during our showers, this is very dangerous because usually if there is a pipe pressure problem the hot water comes out first and people can burn their skin. And the grand finale: we got charged twice, front desk said the manager will call to fix this issue and never did, this matter only got fixed until we checked out. I hope they fix these issues because is a very nice hotel. I know I will come back if they do. Thanks to the housekeepers that brought a microwave and an extra towel to our room.

Did not love our stay. Did not like our stay. Lets just say we stayed here a few nights.THE GOOD... The courtyard, kinda? Large workout room.THE BAD... Dirty laundry room on our visit and no quarters available all weekend. Coffee available in the morning but its usually not hot and full of grounds. Not a walking location, noting around here. The hallways are hot and humid. One ice machine location on the second floor for the whole building! The rooms are dark. No semi private areas to do work in the lobby.THE UGLY... The staff in the bar and breakfast area are put-out, stressed and surly. Ask for anything and you get lots of attitude. I mentioned that the propane was out in all the outside heat lamps hoping she might make a note for the maintenance guy in the morning. Wow! The insane amount of aggression that invoked. Asked for $1.50 in quarters in the morning so I could dry my laundry, youd think I had asked for her first born! The level of service here is really pathetic, zero people skills on the resturant/bar side of the operation. BTW, the desk people were normal/professional and let it be know they were aware of the problems in the bar area. This is a bad 2 star hotel at best.I would not recommend.

The hotel was clean and quiet. We stayed for 3 nights and were surprised that there were no housekeeping services for our room during our stay. Also, we booked a suite expecting separate rooms, but there was no door separating the rooms and the bathroom door was a barn-door style, so privacy and sound reduction was lacking. Not an overall bad experience but I wouldnt stay here again for the price.

Just checked in and I’m already not pleased.The pictures of the hotel look great, the hotel room itself is alright, but the service is horrible. I think there’s some miscommunication between departments which causes the overall service to suck- which other reviews stated.I’m a Marriott member and cardholder. On the app it allowed for me to check in earlier than 3pm. I wanted to use a certain card so I had to check in in person. We arrived around 1 and the room wasted ready. No biggie. We waited and I would occasionally ask if the room was ready. 3pm came and I along with others were trying to check in. The room wasted ready and finally was waiting on getting inspected. It was 3:30 when we got checked in.I requested a top floor specifically so we don’t have loud people above since I have a baby. I also requested extra towels. Neither requests were fulfilled. I also want to note that the tv sounds like there’s static and the mini fridge is very mini. We got a suite room so we had extra space for the baby. But the fridge was a bit too small for our food/drinks/ baby food.I’ll update rating if service improves during stay.

The rooms are a decent size with really high ceilings on the ground level. This was a big issue and very sleepless night as not only did my boyfriends snoring echo off the wall, but I could hear someone snoring on the other side of the wall as well. I sleep with silicone earplugs. The snoring was 3 times louder than usual. The pillows were also so soft and flat that I couldnt get any kind of firmness to be comfortable. The bathroom was large and had a huge shower. The lobby has a bar and lounge area. The bartender on a Saturday night was great. She gave us excellent service and was just the right amount of chatty. When we checked out I asked if perhaps a different level had lower ceilings and was told yes. So if youre staying with someone who snores Id definitely ask for a higher floor. This hotel is fairly new. Very clean.

Very disappointed. Never have I been in a hotel, where breakfast does not belong in to the price. Free coffee and tea was advertised. In our room was only one normal teabag and one camomille tea. I had to go asking for more, and they dont have any decaf options available. One little bottle of water. If one needs another cup in the morning, one has to buy the water. How can you call that free coffee/tea? And never before have I been in a place, where there are papercups, and not normal coffee cups in the room. They dont have cider in the bar, and they charge 14 $ of one glass of wine, which was served in a plastic cup. They had ran out of wine glasses. And one is not allowed to take glasses in the room anyway. They do consider their customers have rather low behavior, I guess. The night-table lamp switch was so high, I had to get up from the bed every time to use it. And for the people working there: Smiling to your customers, greeting them happily, would make your own day much happier. Sorry to say we still have to stay here for another night, since thats what we reserved. I will never come back here again, nor in any hotel of the chain, since here customers are not treated nice.

All the guest room doors at this hotel absolutely slam shut fast and very loud, unlike any hotel I’ve stayed at before. Definitely don’t recommend it if you’re a light sleeper or have kids trying to sleep. Just a heads up if you have an oversized vehicle, the parking lot is quite small. And their “business center” computer is so outdated in its software that you can’t even log in to Gmail. The staff has been good but I would not voluntarily stay here again.

I really really like this property! Its in a great location, close to Santa Cruz and highway 17. Rooms are very spacious, very clean, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is awesome and the shower is very luxurious. The only issue with this property is the noise. There is a car wash right next door, if youre sleeping on that side of the building you are going to get woken up very early buy a lot of machines making a lot of noise. There was also a very annoying banging sound that kept happening about every minute in the morning, I think this was the cleaning crew going in and out of a door and for whatever reason they kept slamming it, not sure what that is about. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this property and I will be returning.

I think they save the bad rooms for third-party booking companies. Our room overlooked the dumpster and business garages. The mattress felt like a deflated air mattress. The decor looks like it was out of a Dungeons and Dragons estate sale. I needed to work, but the desk/chair situation is not functional. Desk was super short, chair was high, I couldnt even fit my legs under it. Our mini fridge was just sitting on the carpet in the corner of our room like a college dorm. No ceramic coffee mugs or wine glasses, only paper and plastic. Needless to say I will be staying at the Hilton next visit.

My review is just like all the others. This place is horrible and the staff for most part is horrible as well.The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is huge is about the only good thing about this place.The front staff is horrible, Cyrus is good but I think hes new.The management team at the front is horrible and doesnt follow through. The bar team can not provide any quality service. Ashely was the only good one providing good service.Most of the bar and front staff sat at the end of the bar drinking and eating and talking.If youre only needing to sleep for the night and move on, it will do. But otherwise is a place to avoid.Be warned, the AC dont work, and the water pressure goes away and you could be standing there for 5 to 7 min with no water.The front staff will not tell you this!If management says they will take care of it, do not count on it and double check for yourself.I will not stay here again, there are so many better places then this. If I could give zero or negative stars, this please deserves it.

This hotel is clean, and esthetically pleasing. My real issue was with the parking. Some imbecile decided it was okay to park his van across four parking spots and a semi driver decided he could do the same. This meant, when we arrived back at the hotel around 10pm, there was no available parking in front nor in the garage. People were parking illegally in handicapped parking spots and in places marked as no parking. It was a mess. The poor front desk girl had clearly taken a brow beating from multiple people staying there because of this. She was kind enough to get her boyfriend to come move her car so we could park in her spot. I think her name was Taylor? I hope her boss sees this and commends her for a job well done. I also hope the manager sees this and doesn’t allow idiots to park this way in the limited parking at the hotel again.

I secured a King Suite.The pull out bed was un-sleepable.The duvet did not have a coverThere was only 1 pillow.The reservation was for 3 and there were 2 sets of towelsAsked for a different room. We had made reservations for Wednesday when we arrived our reservation wasnt entered into the system though we had a confirmation letter. Laura the front desk agent was able to move things around and she took care of us. Laura was fantastic the manager Angelica didnt seem to care about the situation when we had a conversation about it the next day.

My wife and I booked two rooms using free night certificates and ended both getting charged around $52 each per room. We’ve contacted the front desk and management multiple times but they did nothing and passed me on to the next person. Almost a month later this issue still hasn’t been resolved so I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. Worst customer service ever and I will never come back to stay here again.

This is my first ever experience of having to fight the AWFUL staff at this location to reverse a double incidentals pre charge that went through on my card.When I arrived at the hotel the staff were the worst, most unfriendly, and least helpful hotel staff Ive ever witnessed. I was told during my calls they had to send someone in from corporate just to try and repair this sinking ship. I had to call back 5 times for them to finally confirm the refund. Each call ending with the promise I will call you back soon.Location was really awkward. The view from my hotel room was a back alley and an elementary school it seemed with loud kids playing.

Stayed here for a wedding in town this last weekend. The hotel looks pretty new but it is the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From our room you could hear everything in the main lobby and bar area. Also anytime someone left their room the door would slam so loud it would shake the walls to our room. This happened at all hours of the night causing us to get very little sleep during our stay. The walls are also so thin you can hear conversations in the room next to you and the toilets flushing

I am not typically one to post public reviews as I prefer to reach out to management directly to give them the opportunity to rectify my experience. However, I have been waiting days for a response from their management team and have gotten no response, so here I am. I want to first say the property itself is lovely but the biggest let down was customer service property-wide. The check in process was short and uninformative. It is also very clear the front desk agents just sit in the back office and watch a camera to see when guests approach the desk which is very unprofessional in the guests eyes, especially on a busy Friday evening (we arrived around 6pm for reference). Once I got into my room I was opening some of the drawers and found a bag of trash in the bedside table. This was a huge let down and leads me to believe housekeeping is not thorough in their cleaning process. I brought this to the front desks attention and she apologized but did not offer much further upon that. At the same time I confirmed restaurant and bar hours with the front desk before heading out for dinner and she confirmed that food was served until 9pm and drinks until 10pm. We returned to the hotel at 9pm and decided to go to the bar for a drink. The bar was full with only two stools open when we sat down at 9:10pm. We asked the female bartender for a drink menu and she responded We did last call at 9:30pm I responded that the current time was only 9:10pm, she then proceeded with oh, well its been a slow night so we are closed now (with attitude). Again, there were only 2 seats left in the bar so not sure how this is considered a slow night for the bar. My partner and I then decided to just go out to the firepits on the courtyard to try and enjoy the rest of our evening. Only a few moments after getting situated we noticed the front desk agent was sitting out at a fire pit across from us with a group of her intoxicated friends. She sat with them for over 30 minutes gossiping about personal matters that we could clearly hear, which was inappropriate since she had just checked us in only a few hours prior. Not long after we left the bar we could tell the other guests had been asked to leave the bar as it cleared out pretty fast. Around 9:40pm we proceed to watch the bartenders turn out the lights and watch a movie on the bar TV. This was a huge disappointment and quite frustrating for us to watch since we were turned away. When I checked out the next morning I requested to speak with a manager but was informed they had a few new managers and none were on property at the time, nor did the staff have emails for them. I left my information behind and was assured I would be contacted shortly by a manager and still have not had any out reach after several days. Huge let down, would not consider going back until management makes customer service a priority around their property.

Stayed here two nights. Hotel was satisfactory and had no troubles with anything other than the fact that fact that they didnt clean the rooms between nights. We were out all day in SC and when we got back to the hotel in the evening, it was very clear that no one had attended the room. A well made bed, water, and clean towels would have been nice though its not something to get too rialed up about.The walls seem a bit thin - I could hear the people next to us snoring all night long and the TV is pretty loud through the walls. If youre a light sleeper, this could be an issue.The front desk service is also very amateur. Not bad people at all, just not skillful at helping run a hotel. And if you complain about anything, please know that they wont care or do anything about it.

One of the worst Marriott’s I’ve ever stayed at. & I’ve stayed at HUNDREDS of Marriotts & this one was the worst :(Upon check in- had to wait 5 minutes for a front desk person to come & greet me and check me in. Despite having to wait for the Front Desk, we had to wait for our room as well (10 mins) never in my life have I ever experienced this! 15 minutes waiting to get checked in because the employees want to hide in the back room.. yikesShe then proceeds to charge me 3x (not the rate i had booked) & had no explanation for it.. not even the other workers had an idea what went wrong. End of the day, I was charged over $800 extra. It was the worst experience ever. I’m traumatized from staying at any Four Point from now on!Every Marriott I’ve stayed at, has always been full rate due and deposit due upon check out..I was here for 4 days for my birthday.. The only nice thing about this hotel is the spacious rooms & the fact that it’s a new build— nothing more.They don’t have any amenities what so ever. Customer service does NOT exist here.. from the front desk, to valet, to bartender, & housekeepers.The front desk is clueless in anything you ask them.. (especially the shorted haired blonde). We tried figuring out how to use the fire pits outside and couldn’t get it to work so we asked her since she works here & was outside by the pits & she shrug her shoulders and said “I don’t know, ask someone who has it on”…I was flabbergasted 😮 because that is not up to Marriott standards. House keepers are always talking among themselves loudly in front of rooms and or yelling across the hall early morning.. it was disturbing.. They kept slamming doors left & right not considering other guest are staying there as well.. The doors are loud to begin with but definitely can be prevented from slamming. The bathroom door in my room was smaller than the door opening so it had a large gap on the side of the door. Very unprofessional for Marriott. The Ac is placed in the worst position possible. You can only feel it if you are standing underneath it. It does not approach your bed what so ever so you are sweating like a pig at night. I wish I could have saved my money & stayed elsewhere.This hotel was a big disappointment! Also, good luck finding a manger…. LOL. There’s never one on duty when you need one.

Stayed here for a night over the weekend for a staycation. The AC was out in the hotel and most of the rooms but was able to get one where it was working. It was good. Room was very clean. The fridge was just on top of a luggage rack thing and no microwave. It was a bit loud, I could hear doors slamming all night. Halls were hot because of the AC issue. Staff was very nice. Bar closed at around 10 on Saturday so wasnt able to try it and breakfast ended at 10 on Sunday so didnt try that either but Im sure theyre good. Overall had a good time and would stay again.

WORST hotel stay Ive ever had. I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton in Scotts Valley last weekend. As someone who travels frequently and who holds status with all of the major hotel chains, I am still in shock over my experience here. I do want to note that I previously stayed at this hotel one year ago and had a pleasant experience at that time (I can’t believe this is the same hotel). After checking in last week, I walked to the King Suite I had reserved and found the door unlocked and wide open (MAJOR safety risk). As I pushed the door further, I walked into a room that was completely unkempt. There were consumed water bottles on the table. The bathroom did not have a single towel. There was no soap. The bathroom trashcan was placed in the bedroom. The countertops in the suite were stained. It was quite clear that the suite had not been cleaned. The tea and coffee had not been replenished. In addition, the bathroom door was not attached and nearly fell on top of me and my travel companions. Upon returning to the check-in desk, I was informed by the staff person that he was pretty much the manager. When I shared the details regarding the room, there was not a single apology and instead he nonchalantly offered only one solution which was to cancel my reservation at the last-minute leaving me with nowhere to stay on a July 4 weekend. Ultimately, I decided to go back to the suite and to clean it myself. I wiped down counters and put the bathroom trashcan in the right place. I had to request towels and soap since the room had come with NONE. From start to end, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The attitude of the person at the front desk is something I have never seen before and it will stay with me for years to come. This was truly a disappointing, unacceptable experience for a room that cost nearly $400 for a night.I do want to share that the hotel has been completely unresponsive to my concerns over what happened during my stay, which speaks volumes. I will update if I ever hear back from them.

Nice, clean and comfortable rooms for our wedding party. We rented three rooms total. One room did not have a microwave, but upon request they brought one. The refrigerators were tiny. Another room was missing a hair dryer, but again, was brought up upon request. The rainfall showerhead in our room never produced hot water, so it was unusable. Had to shower using the hand-held sprayer, which had NO water pressure at all. My husband rates all hotel rooms by the shower, and he was grumpy! Thus the three star rating.Beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. We did not visit the onsite restaurant, as our schedule did not allow for a formal breakfast. There was no free, self-serve breakfast option.

The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are large. There was a nice courtyard and restaurant and bar on site. We were upgraded to a suite with a king size bed, and the bed was quite comfortable. It had courtyard view and a balcony. The room was nice and clean. The furniture seemed a bit spartan given the enormous size of the room. It was a really nice upgrade nonetheless.The staffs at the front desk were very nice and courteous. Housekeeping needs some improvement. There was no glass for drinking beverages in the room, except couple paper cups by the coffee machine. There was no Kleenex or tissue paper in the room. There was low on toilet paper and we have to get an extra one from the front desk ourselves since they didnt have housekeeper people in the evening. The hallway was dirty too.Given the nicely maintained facility and the friendly staffs, Id have given this place 5 stars. However, due to the lacking of housekeeping, its a 4 was of now.

We are here for a family wedding at Roaring Camp railroad. This Marriott was chosen to house the guests. The room was good, newer amenities like huge walk in shower rather than a tub option. We used the outside courtyard and bar for eating brought in meals and hanging out with the family at the bar. I had little interaction with staff other than the bartender who was nice, friendly and accommodating. Our room was never serviced during the 3 day stay and had to run down the cleaning crew for an extra roll of toilet paper. I guess we could have asked if we really wanted our room tidied up. The location is perfect for day trips as we stayed longer than our family due to the fact that we came from the east coast and wanted to enjoy Santa Cruz a few days longer.

There were some good things about this hotel: the rooms are big, the beds were comfortable with clean linens, bathroom was big and clean. However the maintenance was not good. When we got to the room there was a coat from the last person still hanging in the closet, and when I opened the coffee maker there were moldy coffee bags in it. I asked for it to be changed out and it never was. There was also no hair dryer??I also called ahead of time to change the name on the room, and when I got there, that had clearly not been done, although it wasnt a problem for checking in. There is no pool which is fine, just not that impressive.

Worst experience ever. The room has a dresser drawer that wont stay closed. They warned us as we were entering the room. It should have been fixed before they rented the room.We all slept the first night and went out the next day. We came back to discover the room wasnt cleaned. They did empty the trash, but they only took the dirty towels. We still had to go get cleans ones from the front desk.We also put out the shampoo and shower gell dispensers which were empty. They took those. Didnt fill them. Didnt replace them. Just took them.When we got back from a wedding, which was the reason for our visit, and saw they hadnt left clean towels and took the dispensers, I was heated and went to the front desk. The young man at the front desk was not happy that my voice was raised. He told me I had to deal with the morning / day staff. He did give me towels but also threatened to close the account and kick me out because his feelings were hurt because I was angry that the hotel isnt doing basic hotel things.Oh, and theres mold on the bathroom ceiling and the showers dont have doors (so be prepared to sop up water every time you shower.Seriously, just avoid this dump and let it go under.If theyre short staffed and cant do basic hotel tasks such as providing clean linens, then only rent the number of rooms the staff can handle. Let the hotel shareholders suffer, not the paying customers.

We had a bad experience. We ultimately left this hotel for another (Hilton) and were glad we did. Rather than describe our whole experience I think it would be best to list pros and cons:Pros: Rooms are massive. First floor has 15 foot ceilings. Nice views of the creek from rooms on the back side. All furnishings are brand new and up to date. 10 minutes from the ocean. Ample parking (underground).Cons: Took 10 minutes for front lobby staff to show up. Rude and inconsiderate attitude from the woman working the front (day), and from the man working evenings. Paper thin walls (bring earplugs). No security on the door from downstairs parking lot (anyone can just walk in to the hotel without even a key). Understaffed. Found a former guests clothing in the first room they assigned us.

Worst Sheraton I’ve ever seen.The front door and elevator creek comically loudly like a haunted house. The hallway floor felt uneven or unleveled. There was a very loud fan left running in the room hidden behind the TV console. Maybe this is part of covid protocol but if it’s left on it, it makes me worried a guest recently checked out and this room was rushed. The mini fridge was abnormally loud. The thermostat didn’t work and the room was extremely cold which then prevented the room from being heated. The cleaning of the room looked rushed with smears on the mirror and dust left on surfaces. There was also a blinking indicator on the thermostat saying a filter needed to be replaced. The room was likely also not constructed to be level since you can feel a strong force of gravity pushing the abnormally wide bathroom door shut. Also the furniture doesn’t run parallel to the wall, are the walls crooked? The furniture feels too large. Are all the rooms for plus size? The dimensions of the room were also really odd like no hotel room I’ve ever seen with some areas spacious and some areas narrow.This was enough for me to pack my bags back into my car and ask for a refund. I thought if I found all these problems immediately there were probably more problems.The gentleman at the front desk didn’t refund me. He said that the manager wouldn’t be in for two days and that I needed to provide a list of problems with the room to give to the manager. I started listing some of the reasons above but stopped because this guy wasn’t writing them down, was visibly annoyed, and started explaining that there were no refunds within 48 hours of reservations and the best he could do was give me a new room. There was so much wrong with the room and the hotel, I said no because how can I trust the next room to be any better. Also before leaving I tried to explain to him that I wasn’t mad at him personally but he scoffed at me and then walked away to the bar to ignore me and help the only other party of guests in the lobby.This experience was so bad that I wish this place goes out of business or at least loses the right to call themselves a Sheraton.I left and stayed at another hotel in town. We’ll see what the manager says in 2 days.

A fantastic and welcoming experience from start to finish. Upon arrival I was greeted by John who is a great example of what customer service in the hospitality industry should look like. He was detailed, helpful, and personable. I will return to this location just because of his service. The room was amazing with a very open concept layout that made it feel not cramped and truly comfortable . The furnishing had a rustic but still modern feel to them that made the experience feel like a upscale hotel at an affordable price. Had issues with no water during our stay but no manager on site to address the issue. I was given a contact card to get ahold of the manager after we departed but the manager has been unresponsive and yet to return my calls. I’ve been calling since October…Unacceptable! I travel often and normally choose Marriott properties since I hold status with them but this experience left me extremely disappointed and not valued as a member. The lack of customer service and responsiveness of the manager is a direct reflection in the hotel and staff. My last phone call to the Hotel (a few weeks ago) I told them I had an upcoming weeklong trip and was intending on staying at the property again if we could get the original issue resolved and asked if the water issue had been addressed. The representative told me, if he was being honest, the water issue is an ongoing thing that has never been fixed, and assured me the manager would be calling me. Yet again, no response. Needless to say, I will not be spending my money there and highly urge others to look elsewhere.

Ive stayed here on 2 separate occasions ( one for approx 8 days while quarantining, the other for 2 days because I found a good rate ) and I have nothing but good things to address. Every staff member Ive encountered have been incredibly nice and accommodating. During my latter stay, I was offered a room upgrade and the room was ostensibly immaculate ( minus a couple minor cosmetic blemishes ). The location is beautiful; peaceful, and convienent. A lot of these negative reviews seem to be rooted in misunderstandings on behalf of the reviewer, irrational standards and perhaps even fragile egos. If you find a room for sub 150 you will receive a solid stay relative to the competition as far as Im concerned.

Make sure your room is away from all the noise. Apparently people in Scott Valley have nothing else to do but partying in hotel rooms. The receptionist wasn’t helpful in reducing the noise and asking the people to keep it down. So we had to be annoying in asking them to move us away from the whole noise. Small micro wave and fridge, plenty of cupboard/wardrobe space and bonus was free parking on site.No room service in 3 nights! Had to get replacement towels from reception and rubbish not taken from room. Tea/coffee available in room but only enough for 2 people for 1 day for a family 4 person room for 1 day. Hotel is a bit soulless, concrete plain structure so doesnt look feel very appealing from kerb side. Within 1.5 miles off various food, cinema and supermarkets. It feels more like a 1 night stop over hotel/business hotel than for a longer vacation. Also no safe in room.

Never stay here if youre coming for a special occassion or if youre coming in a group (specifically a wedding).My now-husband and I personally called, toured and even stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley (FYI its not Santa Cruz) to scope it out for our wedding guests to stay after our wedding in Los Gatos. We did this *more than a year prior* to our big event.The first time we met Frances Hester, she showed us a second floor corner room where the bridal suite would be located with the best lighting for makeup and video/pictures. She showed us the joint rooms nearby and said we would all be on the second floor so we would have a nice view of the courtyard below.We paid all our deposits and signed contracts.The hotel then changed GMs. Ultimately Abbey Walker began emailing with us. Communication, particularly billing and waiver signing, was frequent with her months and then days before our wedding.I had no way of knowing there was a complete lack of communication among hotel staff.Turns out, none of that planning existed when we showed up.- The front desk was unaware of our wedding partys stay and started putting our party in random rooms on the 1st, 2nd & 3rd floors.- Abbey Walker came out and looked completely confused saying she had no notes from Frances or from the multiple GMs the hotel had. The staff on site, other than Abbey, had no idea we were celebrating a wedding. Frances Hester later said on a call they shouldve been informed. They werent.That felt terrible; I dont know how else to describe it, especially at that point of the wedding process and with all the emails I sent to make sure they were prepared.- During our extended bar rental Thursday evening, the staff was rude. To be fair, our group was not quiet and at times were singing as a group celebrating the wedding. Immediately I would tell my group to be quiet and respectful of other guests but when the overnight manager came over, he was rude and did not provide one polite request based on my observation.My guests also communicated to me the bartender was rude and complained about having to work, which is completelyunprofessional. They said he expressed wanting to go home. We had two guests bring out a white claw from their rooms, which is prohibited. Instead of kindly reminding me, the bride, to reiterate this rule to my guests, the bartender went straight to threatening to shut down the extended bar event. This while situation was handled poorly by staff.- This is not as major, but prior to all of thix, Abbey had emailed me just 24 hours before check-in sayinf due to staffing issues there would be no breakfast for any of our wedding guests. I still dont understand how this hotel could be so underprepared with no staffing backup plan when they had a years notice.I would have respected a heads up so we had the opportunity to find a better hotel.The communication was awful. Abbey emailed all this last minute (when I was heading to my wedding rehearsal) when. I believe, a call was more appropriate.It was only when I called Abbey and asked she attempt to be more solutions-based did she offer a complimentary breakfast (yogurt & bagels) the next morning and comped our one room a night for the inconveniences.It was clear to my husband and me at that point, Frances and the Four Points Scotts Valley team had given us a sales pitch the year prior and that was it. There was zero effort to accomdate this wedding groups stay even with a years notice.Money aside, this tainted our wedding weekend. What made things worse, it was all completely preventable.I understand we are in a pandemic and staff are getting covid, but that doesnt explain the multiple, systemic communication failures.Wedding couples, I would pick a different hotel for your wedding party/guests, unless this location improves.

The hotel staff advised overflow parking was at the boys and girls club down the street. As I female I didnt feel safe parking in a dark parking lot and have to walk down a dark street to get to the hotel. The bar was supposed to close at 10. At 11:00 there was still about 50 people in the bar area and they were all being very loud. Many people were yelling. This hotel was not worth $280 per night. There is no consideration for the paying guest of the hotel.

Very poor service from management. I been waiting to discuss my horrible experience for the last two weeks from Sarah. Leaving multiple messages with the front desk. Went there on the 4th of July weekend. Denied towels and bedding because they were “short” the lamp next to the bed in room 245 did not work, reported it the first night I stayed and was never fixed. The bedding sheets had a noticeable stain in the middle of the bed. And there’s a parade during the holiday which will not allow you to check in for 3pm you will have to wait until it’s over for parking. The staff turnaround is awful and they will not honor what the previous employee offered. We booked about 35 rooms for 2 nights and they they could said they could not comp the room for the Bride & Groom. They said we could extend the bar for 2 hours at $150 per hour but changed it to $200 and said well the rate just recently went up. They charged $500 additional for outside alcohol brought in which was in the contract, I personally did not see any outside alcohol, they said they told someone no outside alcohol was allowed but did not contact the person that signed the contract. This was not a private bar night so who knows who brought in alcohol? In addition they charged $243 service charge on the $500 stating this was standard at 27% plus $111 tax on service but said it was not for service? So $853 additional WTH we could have had an open bar with food for that amount. To get a bill for $1254.44 to keep the bar open for 2 hours after we paid for all of our drinks and rooms is outrageous! In addition, they said the bar would be open until 11pm Friday night and even though are guests were at the bar they closed at 9:30. Breakfast in the morning took about an hour as they had 1 cook and 1 waitress although they knew we had a wedding block. They basically said too bad so sad. So frustrated and disappointed!

However, I clearly explained myself to the tall gentleman that “yes, pls charge this card for the $50 incidental fee.” And I was told “oh we don’t charge the full stay until after check out” SO I understood that as, I was only getting charged $50 for checking in and I’d get charged the complete stay when we check out. So I gave him my actual card to pay in full.That was the understanding we both had, as I asked twice “you guys don’t charge the full pay tonight, just incidental fee?” He quickly said “yes.” I’m an avid marriot/Bonvoy member so I had to question cause this was the first time I head this.. but I didn’t keep questioning cause he is the person that’s checking me in.However. When giving him the credit card for deposit, then giving him my actual card to pay for the whole stay (after our stay, as told by the rep)— we were charged twice in the amount of $534 (will show both statements below). I’m upset because I understand it’s a “pending charge” and someone will get their money back, in a few days… but charging us double the price of what our total stay is completely NOT right and unfair. I explained to both supervisor and customer rep that “we’re here on a quick family stay. I just lost $500 budgeted to spend for the next two days.” I get that we’ll get our money back but will get credited WHEN we’re suppose to leave or even a few days after as it’s still “holiday business days.” So who knows when we’ll get our funds back. It’s unfortunate that I was told that we’d get charged $50 and to my surprise get charged $534, not once BUT TWICE.I am clearly upset and as promised, I would not shame the two kind people, as they completely understood the mishap but I asked to speak to you to see what you are able to do for this mishap under your hotel. We had a very nice stay here this passed few days Nov 2021. We stayed in rm 259. It was quiet and cozy. Not a good view but thats not important to us. There was wifi, huge TV where you can sign on to your Netflix account. Comfy king size bed. Felt like a memory foam mattress. The shower was amazing! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in shower as well. They do supply a hair dryer, mini fridge, mini coffee maker with 2 servings of coffee, hand lotion, make up removing wipes, iron, ironing board, ice bucket and 2 plastic cups. There was plenty of storage space in the bathroom for my make up & hair appliances. Check out was at 12:00pm which was so nice because we didnt have to rush out in the morning. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel. Free underground parking. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend staying here. My hubby and I enjoyed it.

New hotel, 3 months, so they are still trying to figure out how to operate, but there are a couple of issues that just got to me. 3rd floor balcony door wont lock. Maintenance locked it when I was at work the first day, but it still wouldnt lock when I got back.Front desk said there is a trick to it, but I tried everything. If an able customer cant secure the room that is unacceptable.The shower is spacious and beautiful, but the hot water is another real trick. There is a button on it that has to be held down while rotating the water faucet in order to get hot water.No free breakfast, but the coffee in the lobby was good. The rooms are big and clean. The desk chair doesnt roll so an older person might be challenged to move it often if working from the hotel. We are currently staying at this hotel and are completely frustrated with their front desk staff.When we checked in last night there was a LARGE party going on in the lobby watching the fights. The gentleman who checked us in was apologetic, promised the party would be over by 9:30pm, and even offered complimentary drink vouchers (we don’t drink so we didn’t take them but appreciated the gesture). On top of loud party, they explained that the king room we had a reservation for had been given away since they were overbooked and all that was left was a 2 queen room… right by the loud party. Frustrated, but tired, we felt we had no other recourse at the time, and decided to try to get some sleep (with the help of a very loud sound machine to attempt to drown out the party that didn’t end until 1am!)The following morning before we left for the day we asked the front desk if we could swap rooms to another floor to 1) avoid noise and 2) get the king room we reserved. They told us they couldn’t promise anything until other folks checked out so that they knew what was available. They asked us to check back after we got back to the hotel and they could help us then.After a long day, we returned to the hotel and asked the front desk if they were at capacity for the night and if there were any king rooms available. They told us that they have plenty available, so we explained the situation and asked to change rooms. They refused (even though they have rooms available) and got very rude about things blaming US for not asking to change rooms when their cleaning crew was available. They said it was our fault for accepting a room we didn’t really want in the first place and told us we should have refused the rooms if we weren’t happy with them in the first place. What?!?!?? It was all they had left! Fortunately I ended up taking video of how incredibly rude and unprofessional Miguel and Leona were. After going back and forth for a while about why they refused to give us the rooms we reserved (and instead gave them to people behind us checking in since they had “a new reservation”) they accused us of being intoxicated (remember the voucher situation from above? We don’t drink) they kept going in circles as to why they wouldn’t just give us the rooms we reserved.We asked to speak to their manager since they weren’t making sense and they handed us a card of someone we could call tomorrow. We check out tomorrow. Ugh! Super unhelpful! Why even make reservations?? Don’t bother making reservations for this place. Best case scenario they’ll take your money but won’t give you what you reserved, worst case there will be an all night party going on right outside your door.What a disappointing stay! To be honest kinda bummed. The hotel hosted a wedding receptio and didnt provide a valet for the huge party. Had to park down the street and lug bags in. During our extended stay, the water in the shower would cut off 3+ times while showering. Brought it up to staff multiple times. Never offered any explanations or comp us anything for the trouble, just apologizes. While checking out, person in line behind me said the same happened to them. Door shut hard and loud and so did every door around us. I get Covid but for such a high end hotel, I expected more than coffee in the morning. I had the opportunity to stay here on a Saturday night. When I checked in I asked to see if I had been upgraded as I am Gold. I was told oh yes a nice room on the first floor off the corner.The room location is horrible. There is tile off the room in the main corridors and there are high ceilings. Every roller suitcase, their cleaning carts everything came through the rooms. As well there is no seal on the door as you can still see light coming through.I said something the night before as we noticed the sound. Sorry, no open rooms. If youre planning to stay here just be forewarned that the staff and managements primary concern is whether or not youre wearing a facemask - even if youre alone and 30 feet away from another soul. Over the course of 3 days and two nights, our room was never cleaned and we were provided two trashcans the size of spittoons. While the hotels facade is pleasant, the walls are paper thin - so expect to get to know your neighbors in intimate detail, and to be awakened many times throughout the night. Location is great for the price of the rooms. Rooms look recently renovated. I ended up being upgraded to a king suite. Masks are required to be worn during the pandemic even while inside the hallways. TV remote controller was in a plastic covering that you have to tear open. The room was on the third floor and a decent size overlooking a small creek and some trees with a business further in the distance. I had called in ahead of time to ask for food recommendations of places due to pandemic and they spent time to print out a list for me which was ready by check-in. As soon as we sat down we were told that the restaurant was closing at 10am (it was 9:40am) and we needed to hurry up and order. Around 5:00 we came into their room with them after a long day at the beach watching sand soccer and we noticed that there had been no maid service. Here at tail end of covid lockdown, they shut down all outside seating which I think is unnecessary. The doors are really loud so I dont recommend leaving to get ice at 1 am if you have sleeping babies or children. This hotel has a Mediterranean resort appeal. The decor and the rooms and the in room bathroom is is great. The bathroom in particular is quite big. The service at the lounge/ restaurant also has great servers. The food is good too. Water bottles are free yay! Oh and its only just 15 mins from the Santa cruz boardwalk.But it also has the cons. I think being a new hotel its obvious theres bound to be some operational issues. Such as, whilst having a shower suddenly the water stopped. Thankfully it was towards the end of my morning shower. I wasnt dining alfresco. Some curtains or blinds would be nice Sheraton.The breakfast menu is fine but the dinner menu can do an upgrade. Drink list is great.Dont expect to bring your bathing suits, no pool at this resort type hotel. There clearly is an open air atrium that could be used to have a pool instead of stuffing it with lounges and fire pits overlooking some beautiful fauna.No turn down service or housekeeping whilst you stay, although the pamphlet in the room clearly states they will make the room. Oh well bummer there too.No special concierge or bell boys or greeters. This hotel has potential. Common Sheraton this aint your first rodeo.

This was our second stay. Our first was not as good as this stay, simply because they did not have handwash soap for guests. The solution was to use the body wash soap in the shower. We did that that until that ran out.We stayed one night this time. And they had soap! Lol. Really the hotel is brand spanking new. All the furnishings in and outside of the rooms are attractive. Of course, the biggest thing about Four Points is the everything is super roomy. This stay we had a suite. Its like being at home. Leather sofa, King Bed, Armoire, table, clothes shelves, TV and some corner tables. None of these are close to each other. You could park a car in there. The beds are very plush, with some firmness.The bathroom is pleasant with a nice lighting and shower with dual heads. Simply push a button to select which head you want to use or both.The restaurant is decent. We only enjoyed breakfast there. The menu is limited, but good. Two Eggs, Ham and the breakfast potatoes were actually hashbrowns. You have the option of eating outside in their decorated patio.Overall, the staff is friendly. The hotel is nice and roomy. Limited parking is available out front, but a nice attached parking garage is available. The price is pretty substantial. We used Bonvoy points to stay for free. Otherwise, close to $400 would have been a Saturday nights stay.

WORST hotel in all of Santa Cruz! The rudest staff you will ever encounter at any hotel! They would not provide a receipt for the incidentals deposit when I requested one upon checkout, said they didnt know how much the deposit was, then said I have to watch and make sure the charge drops off and if not, give them a call. So its up to me to do your job for you? And since when do people not have the right to a receipt when money is taken?Also, the soap in the shower is SO perfumy my skin itched and was really dry. It totally dried my hair out too.

Live in ben lomond and was excited to see some music locally, walk in and was impressed with court yard. I am a photographer and wanted to check out this hotel for my clients. Alex Lucero was playing which was nice but dam if I could get a drink, it seemed like the bartender was serving everyone but us. I finally had to say something, that it was my turn and he was rude after that, latter I found out my friend had the same problem and had to say something also. We wanted to order food outside with waitress but they kept walking by us, never once ask. Maybe your understaffed but there is no reason, for what I saw, we couldn’t even get are car key no one was there out front. It was the worse service I have seen in a long time. I will not be referring this place to my clients.

I’d actually give this place -0. My family and I drove here, over 4 hrs to work for the weekend.It’s 1030/11 at night and the guy/ family in room 205 are banging on our walls, screaming, slamming furniture around. I’m not sure if they’re fighting, wrestling or have a room full of 20 people.I’ve called the front desk and they don’t seem to care that my 4 year old can’t sleep and then is scared from all the loud noise next door in 205.They’ve offered a room change. I’m unpacked, in bed, with a sleepy child.I declined until I couldn’t take anymore. I packed our belongings and carried my sleepy 4 year old.What a stressful mess. This started as a 4 star review (see below). It has now become a time suck due to their complete incompetence. First, WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD. Twice I booked through a 3rd party. TWICE they direct charged me in addition to the 3rd party. The first stay, housekeeping arrives 11am, IGNORES do not disturb on door, bags on door, wakes me up & proceeds to ask me to leave my room an hour BEFORE check out. Their solution, refund me the $7.36 in grocery fees spent 3.7.19 & give me a bar & water for free. Great, things happen. Well was great until instead they charged a full price room. When they reversed it they left the partial price room minus the groceries which still showed on my card. Like an idiot, I stayed again the 12th & 13th (mind you, previous charges still on my card). The excuse for charges still on account, Linda who emailed you 2 days ago doesnt work here now but well talk to Manager & get back to you. No one got back to me. Second stay, they take the folio, nothing is charged to room so they just decide to charge me $20.31 when I in fact never left the room. Took over a week to get additional room charges & folios off card. Now, 3.17.19 I still have the market & erroneous $20.31 charge on my card that now, after 4 emails, 5 phone calls & 4 trips to front desk in the past few weeks that have been able to see, they now cant see it & cant help me. But you have STOLEN from me & I am incurring charges on the money you did not have permission to charge to my card. This hotel is fraudulent in their billing practices and so disorganized it is appalling. How hard is it to refund money you took? At this point Ive spend enough time & energy trying to resolve this (with zero help from them - Ill look into it & call you. Four people have told me that) that Its cost me twice what it did to stay in follow up. Best part, there are STIKK charges on my card. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD EVER!!!This was a 4 star review ****Beautiful, spacious rooms & fabulous staff. A great hotel to stay in Scotts Valley. First time to Scotts Valley. We were driving through and needed a place to stay for the night. Glad we chose this place. There is limited parking in front of the hotel but there is additional parking under the hotel. The check in was easy. The staff was friendly. The hotel is very nice inside and very convenient. The room was excellent. It had a wonderful bed, a good layout and a very nice bathroom. I would highly recommend this place for anyone needing a place to stay in this area.

All i got was a big fat wait tell monday to speak to a manager. My dog was never in the room by its self and i never smoked in the room but get slapped with a 200 dollar charge due to pet damage when i have picture proof that says other wise. I booked a room for my parents at the Four Points Santa Cruz but never stayed at the hotel myself. When I called to make the reservation, they assured me that they only needed my credit card to make the reservation but my parents could pay on their own credit card at check out. After a week I noticed never got refund, so I called and a guy told me because I chose Non-refundable. Wonderful hotel. Couldnt ask for a better stay. Its a new hotel (Dec 2018) with a bar and restaurant. Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner of the menu. You order at the bar and can either eat at one of the tables/couches or take to your room. There is no table or room service. Food is pretty good and very reasonably priced.The room is spacious with plenty of lighting and a very comfortable bed.Location is fantastic. 10-15 mins to Mystery Spot and Roaring Camp Train. Approx 20-25 mins to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz, 20 mins to San Jose and 1 hour to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I definitely recommend staying here.

We had a terrible experience and would like a refund. There was blood on our sheets and the hotel concierge switched our rooms and then the second room had deteriorated sheets from bleach and being washed so many times. We asked for an upgrade to another suite and instead were offered snacks from the pantry. We were also told that breakfast was included in our reservation and then when we arrived, we were told breakfast was no longer provided and there would be no compensation. We were highly upset because we chose this hotel because it offered breakfast. We had no soap in our bathroom and called to have it refilled. We left and came back to our room with still no soap and I had to call again to have soap dropped off. We are never going to book again with a 4 points Sheraton due to the lack of customer service and lack of cleanliness. We have never paid so much money for a terrible hotel experience. I want a refund of my hard earned money.

A hidden Gem in Scotts Valley/Santa Cruz! We are already making plans to come back and stay here again and again. The rooms are so cozy and clean with a southwest/rustic yet elegent and classy touch. As much as im loving the hotel the big winner for me was the food and service. From the time we walked in we were greated with sincere gratitude. We had an early dinner in Santa Cruz which was way over priced for food lacking quality. We came back to the hotel and I was still unsatisfied so I wanted to eat a little something before retiring for the night. AMAZING FOOD HERE!!!! Wow was the burger delicious! How often do you order a cheeseburger wherethe cheese stands out on its own? I was shocked!!! The burger was juice and well seasoned! As full as I was I shoved in that burger as if it was my first and last. Compliments to the chef!!!!!! There is no way that Ill stop anywhere else to eat when Im back in town other than here. The apple Tart was the big finish. My daughter had the pepperoni pretzel which was just wonderful. The price was way less than what we paid earlier for dinner but the quality was 100 times better. I recommend this place again and again. My kids loved every bite of the food and I have a feeling that Ill be having the burger again for lunch and dinner tomorrow.
