This is the second time Ive called Forest and both times, the service and communication were excellent. Last time was a dryer issue. This time, I head a water leak in the fridge. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem, and explained how the problem occurred and how to avoid a repeat. The basic fee for diagnostics, plus a $75 labor charge were reasonable. No parts needed. No time wasted. Thank you, Forest and technician Chris.

I had the worst experience with this company, they came out to fix my fridge and ended up causing more issues, then they didnt want to fix what the broke. I had to fight months to get this resolved. Ever since they fix my fridge Ive been having nothing but issue, I recently had a much more professional come out and take a look and sure enough he confirm it was due to the poor work of the previous job. Owner/ daughter also has the worst customer service, a ton of excuses, and doesnt care about her customers. You can even see that in their responses here.

Forrest was able to get a tech out the same day i called to diagnose my washer. They also were honest enough to tell me it wasnt cost effective to repair the washer, based on the cost of the parts required. Will absolutely call them next time i am in need.

They were absolutely amazing working with me, there were many hiccups with fixing my washer not to their fault. They were amazing and checked in with me along the way to keep me in the loop with parts being ordered and making sure I was happy and satisfied with the repairs. I spoke with Austyn on the phone multiple times and they made this situation alot easier for me. Im so grateful for them and would 100% recommend them to others in the future.

This company is so unprofessional! Made me wait 2 week to get a response to find out if they had the part for my appliance. Nobody is ever in the office. So even when you call there is no answer, and no response back in a timely manner . They had to make an appointment to look at the appliance and after waiting a 4 hour wait, the tech glanced at our appliance. Was there maybe 5- 10 min. Then tried 6 times to get an appointment to fix it. Btw, they will not work weekends or weekdays after 3. And kept cancelling. Last minute no less. This company deserves -3 stars.

Forrest Appliance has cancelled two appointments in a row due to unavailability of technicians. I wanted to support local, but I think this company needs to figure out a better system. Hire one more technician for more availability, and/or prioritize their customers better.

I rely on this company and they always come through. Staff is great... Lindsey scheduled me in quickly and Techician Chris always calls to let me know he is in on his way. He is efficient and very knowledgeable. Good team!

Wow never received such poor service EVER! The technician was rude and incompetent. Out of 3 problems, he could not diagnose one, claimed the other was not in his order, and completely misdiagnosed the third. Sears came and took care of everything within a week including parts, so I know the technician was all wrong. Worst service ever!

Tom (orange color) and the dishwasher repair person (blue color) were helpful, knowledgeable, polite, careful to protect my kitchen counters and floors and pleasant to works with. They also seen the have a really good working relationship with each other. They figured out what was wrong with both appliances and took care of everything. Thank you!

This was a home warranty call for a rental home. There were some miscommunications between me, the company and my tenant which caused some frustration on my part. I am happy to say that the oven has been fixed. I would use this company again as the technician was very knowledgeable and fixed an issue the last repairman didnt fix.

I dont know why there are such low reviews but I think the company is under different management now. Daniel was superb!! Showed up exactly on time, clearly knew his stuff, serviced 3 appliances in like 20 minutes?!? Also showed great care to take care of our space and our things while fixing all our problems. Super courteous, professional and FAST. Will definitely be calling these guys again!!**Follow up reviewHad a second servicing because a part came in that was needed. Once again, outstanding and super fast service!! Also consistently fantastic communications with regards to coordination and scheduling. (Edit in response to Owner: Thank you for your wishes, A&E Factory Service made the repair yesterday. My frustration is not with the hold time, but with the lack of progress over 2 weeks time. I should only have to explain the problem once, maybe twice, to the repair company directly. 4 times was too much for me, not including the explanation I gave to Home Depot. I understand that Covid has impacted businesses...but there are plenty of people looking for a job right now. If you’re understaffed take in a couple new hires.)Let me say first that I am all about supporting local business and giving our local folks the benefit of the doubt, but my experience with Sarah and Gene was unprofessional at best. If you’re interested in the story please take a read below.We were assigned Forrest TV and Appliance through LG after we contacted Home Depot for a warranty repair on our LG washing machine. After explaining to Home Depot the problem we were having we were told we would have a repair tech out 3 days later to make the repair. Long story short, they didn’t come on the scheduled day because, in Sarah’s words they were “too busy and forgot my work order at home.” After explaining the issue to her over the phone she told me she would call me to setup an appointment when the parts were in hand. The next day, Gene left me a voicemail to ask what the problem was...again. So I emailed him and gave him all the info needed. He replied and said we’d be in touch soon. 4 days later I received another call from him saying “this is the second message ive left you, please respond so we can order your parts.” I returned his call and he again asked the problem I was having so he could order parts. This was over a week after the initial contact at this point. Today I called the office to see the status of the order and Sarah put me on a 12 minute hold, after which she told me that she was too busy and asked the problem again so the correct parts could be ordered!! I expressed some frustration since this was 2 weeks to the day since LG assigned them to our repair and she cut me off to tell me what her perspective was. Not the best way to handle a frustrated customer. She promised to call me shortly to take care of the problem and never called. 4 hours later I called Home Depot and requested a different repair agency.

My fridge ice maker wasnt making ice and my gas stove didnt adjust from high to low..both my GE appliances were under warranty and Forrest TV and Appliances is the closest to me..which is a ways away..like an hour...They came out pretty quick and the tech fixed the ice maker and the stove really quick..he made sure the ice maker was working before he left, super nice guy too.

Even though our expert technician Tom was dispatched with an improper diagnosis and the wrong service parts, he quickly discovered the REAL problem with our not-too-old refrigerator, showed us the issues and explained how they needed to be repaired. He then efficiently created a parts list for the repairs necessary and gave us an (extended) timeline for when we can hope to get our refrigerator back into our lives. We look forward to his return and completion of the service, and wish that service issues would return to being diagnosed in the field, rather than over the phone.

Took more then a weeks to schedule a time with them. Would not call back over and over again. I left message after message. Finally called every hour until by the end of the day they gave me a schedule. It was two weeks out. Then the morning of the appointment they cancelled because of bad weather. The next day they almost showed up but refused to drive on the road even though plenty of cars including fedex ups and basically everyone drives on it. We offered them a ride, could have walked but decided not to service. Don’t bother. Use someone else.

Was contracted by AHS to repair oven. Didn’t fix oven and fixed a part that wasn’t broken and then advised that we needed an electrician but refuses to pull out oven so that electrician can get to outlet but still charged AHS for a repair that wasn’t warranted. Buyer beware of these scammers.

Help arrived in the middle of their 4 hour scheduled window, which was 2 days after my appointment call. They asked for enough detail before arriving to ensure that no time was wasted. The visit was completed in less than 30 minutes with a diagnosis and estimate. The problem was more serious than expected and resulted in a new appliance purchase(from someone else). This visit cost $125.

What a rip off!!! After waiting 2 weeks for an appointment, Forrest Appliance Repair charged me $150.00 for the “Service Technician” to tell me to buy a new Dishwasher. He shows-up for the appointment, I show him that my dishwasher isn’t cycling properly. He says “your dishwasher motor is broken and it’s going to be cheeper and faster to buy a whole new dishwasher.” It took him longer to write up the $150.00 invoice then it did to look at the dishwasher. In fact, he never even touched the appliance!!!

My wife called them to come out and look at our oven, our clothes gas dryer, and our extra refrigerator in the garage. We were given a time frame. The technician showed up an hour early. Lucky we were home. He basically looked at all 3 appliance and determined the oven and dryer needed several items replaced. Without verifying but testing anything he decided to replace several parts on each in hopes one of the parts would make a difference. That is no way to diagnose and fix problems. They wanted over $900 to fix the oven with 3 different parts. Most likely the problem is only one part. When we attempted to call back to talk to the technician we were told they were too busy to talk to us, ever. You can only call them between 9-2:00. When I asked for a quote I wasnt provided much, no detail. Overall very nice girls on the phone but I would highly NOT recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely ABYSMAL customer service. Came out to repair my BRAND NEW refrigerator. Never properly repaired it- kept giving me new appointments with different repairs. Samsung called to find out if it had been repaired yet or not and when they found out it hadnt, told me they would be replacing it. When Forests customer service called, Sarah was incredibly rude, LAUGHING at me, hung up on me, when I called back, told me Samsung never said that and then put some new girl on the phone who then hung up on me after putting me on hold for a long period of time. When I called and spoke to Samsung they DID in fact have me down for a replacement. I called Forest back to let them know, and I was treated like DIRT. I think Forest TV and Repair was simply trying to get as much money out of Samsung as they could, and then lied to me AND laughed at me about it. I cant believe how terrible their office personnel are. It sounds like they have a high schooler working for them! Stay FAR away from this company!/Edit - The staff (Sarah, the owners daughter) continued to harass me and contact me via telephone and email after repeatedly being told to stop. Not to solve the problem, but to insult and belittle. I had to seek legal counsel. There seems to be a SERIOUSLY unbalanced individual working there.

I give them 5 stars on this one.. my Samsung TV screen suddenly showed a banner about the TV.. “New HD TV,, etc. I contacted the internet provider and after all the checks and try this..it was the TV.. Took a screen shot of the annoying banner and emailed to Forest TV. They called me back with the answer. .. The TV had reverted to Demo Mode! Found the manual, put batteries in the Samsung remote and through set up..canceled the Demo View.. Still a mystery why a 5 year old TV that was only being controlled by the cable provided control would suddenly revert. So far OK but if it changes back..their thought..a circuit board.. in the meantime diagnosed and fixed in an hour.. everyone else I talked with just scratched their heads.

We hired this company to fix a dishwasher. The maintenance staff did a great job but their office staff are very unprofessional. They demanded payment and refused to send an invoice. I was harrassed by one office staff Sarah to the point where I had to hang up the phone. Unfortunately I wont work with them again due to her attitude and complete lack of customer service.
