This place was the most affordable I could find after the Covid shutdowns. I took my newly adopted former stray 1 year old here in June of 2021 and they were great. He was a bit of a wild boy, I was worried he might be a bit aggressive, but they had no trouble with him and said he was a sweetheart. At the time it was only $80 for neutering. I paid around $150 cash for neutering, vaccinations, and a microchip. The best way to get in touch is to call and leave a message and someone will call you back to book an appointment. Appointments were about a month out at the time. It was a good experience, they were very knowledgeable and professional and I wouldnt hesitate taking any future furry friends here in the future.

I took my feral Siamese mix to this clinic to get neutered...the team was AMAZING! They were kind and patient when I had questions..went over everything before the appointment and took such great care of Charlie during his surgery... I highly recommend them!!! Since the onset of covid its been a challenge to find affordable neuter services. The animal shelters are no longer offering spay/neuter for animals that are not adopted from their agencies. I called many local vet hospitals. Prices were incredibly high compared to the shelters, some upwards of $600. The receptionist of this particular hospital even went into detail about why the prices were so high, making it sound like they offered premium care versus other veterinarians.I found For Paws and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful voice on the other end of the phone. Their prices were half of what I was quoted by others. When asked what was included in the price, it was the exact same service as the most expensive vet hospital. I booked an appointment 2 weeks out.The drop off and pick up were seamless. Payment is cash only. And the staff was great. I definitely recommend For Paws. My pup does too.

FACILITIES ARE NOT CLEAN AT ALL!!I took them for spay and neuter(I have 2 cats) which I paid $260 for both, they had good attitude and prices are affordable. When I got home I found 2 fleas on one of them, which make no sense, cuz I just got them fleas and ticks medication for my cats like 4 days ago and they havent had fleas in 1 month, I dont understand how they can get fleas if their equipments are clean, Im so disappointed about this cuz I just got rid of fleas and ticks 1 month ago and now I have to deal with it again. The next day I called the clinic to see what they can do for me, the woman that assist me had a nice attitude, she provided me fleas and ticks medication for the cat that Ive found fleas and I said that would be great(it was a Friday btw, i had to wait until next Thursday bc that was the only day I had time to go to that clinic, it was 30 minutes from my house). But the second day I found another flea on the other cat, at the end I had to buy the medication online that would arrive the next day. I TOTALLY APPRECIATE THEIR RESPONSE FOR PROVIDING ME MEDICATION BUT PLEASE CLEAN AREAS OF THE SURGERY AND MAKE SURE STAFF ARE SANITIZED FOR THE NEXT SURGERY!!!

Phenomenal service. Got my kitten in next day due to a cancellation. The front desk people were so patient and thorough when booking, with pre-surgery care and post-surgery care. They asked if he needed shots and if he wanted to be chipped. Gave me up front pricing. INFINITELY cheaper than what I was being quoted by vets offices. They took such good care of him and had him back in 4 hours with a happy kitten. Thank you a million times over and I could not recommend this clinic more.

The ladies working in For Paws are the best. They are so kind and attentive. They clearly explain everything you need to know when you take you puppy there, and their protocols are very simple but solid. Follow the instructions described in the web page, you dont need to do anything else. Wait in the parking lot, bring your pen, and be on time. I 100% recommend this place. Thanks For Paws! I have been going here for years. I have helped to TNR a number of cats and kittens. For Paws is efficiently ran, they are busy but they do an excellent job! My advice is to always listen to the outgoing message when you call, it is updated as needed with important information to help you know what you need to do. The staff is friendly and helpful! All thumbs up 👍

I have taken many cats here over the years. All to get fixed or spayed. Kittens to large cats. Personal pets to stray pets. All done in one day. They also have options to get vaccinations and micro chipped. They do it all at once. The people who work there are nice and love pets. Highly recommended !

I had my cat Salem neutered yesterday and overall it was a pleasant experience. The staff is kind and ready to answer any questions you have. :) They have very affordable prices! You have to call and schedule an appointment before being seen, they called me a day before to confirm my appointment which I really appreciated! Great place to bring your fur babies! They inform you on what to do when you bring them home. 😁

I went with this place after I was quoted with 1,300 at one place and 800 at another. I got charged 300 at For Paws which was significantly cheaper. This place is affordable fast and the customer service was great. There were no issues and everything was explained well. My cat Willow had a speedy recovery. They also offer other services like vaccines and microchip. Bring a pen and cash only. I recommend this place!

We had our cocker spaniel Dodo neutered here a couple of weeks ago. Recovery was smooth and Dodo was back to normal just a couple of days after the surgery. We kept the e-collar (cone of shame) on for 11 or so days after the procedure. Everyone I worked with was polite and helpful and the price was reasonable. 5-star experience!!

Bring your own pen or theyll charge you $5. Curbside service is nice. Very reasonable prices as spay and neuter services are mostly what they do. Staff is friendly and they have good communication. You drop off your pet between 9am and 9:30am, and theyll call you with an hour notice whenever your pet is ready to get picked up.

Please read!Great service and wonderful care for our cats neuter, and I’m not exaggerating. For the price I was almost concerned to take my cat here, I was too busy thinking more expensive meant better, but more expensive just means you’re getting ripped off. I was getting quoted as little as $375 and as much as $700 before I found this place, and to think I would have waisted my money on a clinic clearly only after my money makes me sad. This place charged us a total of $145: $100 for neuter, $20 fee for micro chip (completely voluntary), and $25 charge for sedation because our kitten acted like a feral maniac. They communicated with us before offering sedation to our kitten, and waited for us to give the “okay” before doing anything which was very comforting. The whole process was about 3 hours, and they gave us a list of after care information. I will forever be recommending this place to everyone now.

I love this place. My dog had spay, and they did very good job, and she recovered with that big scar very quickly. Also, they take the vulture, and I paid just little bit money for that huge surgery! Highly recommended!

They are very organized at handling patients in a safe way!! We had our cat Monji spayed, everyone was super sweet, they treated our baby very nicely. Very affordable too, it was only $165 for spay and micro chip. They cant always answer the phone but leave a message and they really will call you back.

I called to schedule for my rabbit to be spayed and they were able to call me back quickly. Other places weren’t calling me back or they called me back 7 days later so this was a plus in my book. Additionally the clinic was willing to see my rabbit as other clinics didn’t even want to perform her spay until she was a year old. As a new rabbit parent, I found out that female rabbits have a high risk of uterine cancers so the earlier the better to get her spayed. The day before her surgery, I received a call to confirm her appointment. The day of her surgery, someone came to pick up my rabbit from my car so they take a lot of care to make the appointment as social distanced as possible which I again see as a bonus due to the variant appearing. After her procedure, they called and they were able to answer all my questions regarding if she can still use her litter box and if she needed pain medication. I felt like my rabbit was in very good hands and like the staff really took the time to provide me the information required to make her recovery go as well as possible. $250 is a lot but for the peace of mind knowing my rabbit’s care was the highest priority, it was worth every penny.

Awesome clinic. People working here are so friendly and really love animals. Ive brought several of my pets here and they always bounce back really fast. Very affordable and is a non-profit so there are a few rules to work out before you come, but definitely donate to them if you can!

The best dental care my kitties have had. I appreciate the hard work and caring attitudes of the staff and Veterinarian. It unfortunate that dental extractions have been paused for now. My kitty, Tommy, needs the remaining teeth extracted (genetic I am told) and the quotes I have received from other veterinarian hospitals have been outrageous.Thanks for all you do !

Inexpensive place to take our precious kitty Church to. She was a small stray we found under our house. They spayed her and gave her vaccines for 80$ (great price cash only). She had a fast recovery, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

For Paws is the most wonderful, not to mention affordable, place to have your furry family members spayed and neutered! The veterinarians at For Paws do impeccable work, and the knowledgable, tolerant, hard working, and kind women that make this place run smoothly, deserve alot of thanks. I have used them for feral and stray cats, as well as my own cats and dogs, because I trust them, and their surgery skills and suturing are something I have come to trust, and I would use them, even if my regular vet charged the same fee. I will tell you, the difference in the quality of work between For Paws and other vets work in the area is very noticable. Trust me. And just a reminder, they are open certain days of the week. Call and find out how their clinic works, dont complain, and please follow the rules. They work their butts off for our cats, dogs and bunnies, so please have your feral cat in a trap, your pet bunny or cat in a carrier, and your dog on a leash, and please be nice. For Paws is a wonderful place to take your dogs or cats or even rabbits and possibly other animals. I would call and check if you have an animal who needs to be fixed to see what Critters they handle. They also do dentals but I think its only once a month so it takes awhile to get an appointment. They called several times wants to move up my date and twice to confirm that I was keeping my appointment. The help was wonderful and the price is so much cheaper than going to a regular vet. All they do is space neuters and dentals and theyre very good at their jobs. Highly, highly recommend checking them out before you pay the cost of a regular vet

I took my older border collie here a few years ago to be spayed. They did warn me that I may have waited too long. However, all went well and she was able to come home the same day. I would not trust anyone else to this procedure. I will be taking my male and female puppies here in the next few weeks! Excellent service!

If you need a dog or cat to be spayed or neutered in the Fremont, Union City, Newark area, this is the place to go. Its not a fun experience, but its part of being a responsible pet owner. They are very friendly, love animals, and its inexpensive. Vets that do neutering in Fremont are many, but their costs are significantly higher.

Experience spaying a 60lb dog is so so. Originally told me the cost will be $180-250. At the appointment day when we check in, that become $250-350 End up paying $350. Warnsprings pet hospital advertised spaying for $210. Not sure if this kind of pricing switch is also there...
