I knew when it came time to sell my parents Hayward home, I would call Les Fohl. I remember starting in the early 80s seeing his note pads in our home over the years. His team was amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would ! Kerissa and Cristina were incredible to work with. They knew exactly what minor improvements were needed to get the sale completed. They did what they said, and in the time they said it would be completed. One weekend of open house and the deal was done ! Communications was amazing. Thank you ladies, you are the best!

Working with Cristina and Kerissa was an amazing experience! It was wonderful watching two real estate professionals prepare my home for the market. Their deep and extensive knowledge of the Bay Area (Hayward, in our case) real estate market is impressive, and their recommendations regarding what minor changes/upgrades we needed to make in order to sell our parents house for the best price was excellent. When It came time to sell my mother’s house I chose Les Fohl because I knew he had a long history selling homes in the Hayward area. I called his associates Kerissa Calvo, and Cristina Bales and set up an appointment to meet with them. My partner, Karen, warned me, however, not to be too hasty, and not to sign ANYTHING. But after seeing just how knowledgeable and professional they were, I found myself signing everything they put before me. They knew I was a novice, and made it easy for me, guiding me through the process each step of the way. What would have taken me weeks or months was quickly accomplished by them in a short order. After their prep and staging work I could barely recognize the house as the one I used to know. I guess I shouldn’t have been so surprised when after just the first open house the property already had several firm offers on the table. ( All of these were OVER asking price.)I was under time constraints since my mother had to be moved to a rest home and the funds had to be there. We used Fohl Realty & Investments (Mr. Savan Thakkar) to buy our very first home in the Bay Area. How I found this amazing Fohl team? Did extensive internet research and felt Fohl was the only one who could help us. We cant speak highly enough of our experience with Savan. We were first-time homebuyers with very little knowledge about how to find the right place. We met with a couple of realtors before, but we knew instantly that he was the one for us. He is honest, patient, and hands-on (he even crawled into creepy attics to check insulation for us!), and he really helped to take the pressure off of us. We never felt forced to make an offer and when we finally found the one Savan walked us through every step of the negotiations. All throughout the negotiations and closing Savan and entire Fohl team were there quickly handling any issues that may have risen. If the time ever comes when I will be looking for a home again, there isnt any question on who my Realtor will be! He was immediately responsive to our questions to help us in making a decision. Savan was there for US! We would, and will, recommend him to anyone in the market to purchase a home. We were impressed with Savan’s professionalism and his genuine interest in assuring we were satisfied with our final decision on our new place. An outstanding, full-spectrum organization! From beginning to sale, the Fohl team was nothing but the highest caliber performance. During the first meeting, they set the bar high for themselves, so I awaited reality to set in. Happily, I can say they delivered on everything they talked about and exceeded their own bar. Friendly, professional, and on top of their game. Best aspect (of many) was their ability to cover every aspect of the sale including remodeling without us having to still be living in it. I needed a realtor to sell a home situated on a unique piece of property in Hayward. I looked at three realtor agencies, two nationwide and a local agency (Fohl Realty Serving Hayward and the East Bay since 1977). The initial contact with the nationwide agencies were typical. They would look at the property, do a quick analysis and make a recommendation on market sale price. There was no real plan or strategy or follow-up.Fohl Realty took a thorough look at the property, proceeded to do an in-depth market analysis. They looked at the property potential and options. As part of the process, they looked at over two years of real estate data, brought in developers and even visited City Hall to determine potential development options of the property. They went the extra step and performed all this work and effort at no cost or commitment from me.During the next six months preparing the property for sale, Fohl Realty continued to follow up and offered support in the form of market analysis; whereas, I never heard back from the other so-called top realtor agencies. As a result, when I was ready to list the property I went with Fohl Realty.Fohl Realty came in with a strategy understanding the quickly changing market (i.e. interest rate increasing, home prices dropping, inflation). They worked with me to understand my needs and requirements. We set a realistic expectation and sell target.They brought in their team: Les Fohl (broker / owner), Cristina Bales (President / realtor®), Kerissa Calvo (Vice President / realtor®) and Savan Thakkar (realtor®). The home was cleaned and within two weeks put on the MLS property listing with impressive aerial views of the property, videos and pictures of the home. One special service Fohl Realty provided was home security (cameras and hot spot) to detect visitors / intruders at the house with text notifications around the house. The house alarm system had to be disarmed during the selling process because realtors in general have issues with disarming and arming house alarms. In fact, I found on numerous occasions main doors that were unlocked after a visit from a real estate agency.During the sell process, there was continuous interactive communications to discuss options as offers were made. They understood a deal is not done, until it’s done. In this case, an offer fell through during escrow. Fohl Realty already had a back-up plan of other potential offers. Within a couple of days, another offer was made and placed into escrow.Fohl Realty is a full-service company that treats their customer as part of the team. From initial contact through the selling process, they demonstrated excellent customer service. They developed a strategy and executed a plan with contingencies. Their communication was excellent and you were part of the team, not an outsider looking in. In a tough seller’s market, I was able to sell the property quickly and at a fair market price. In summary, I believe you could not ask for a better realtor to help you in your process of selling or, for that matter, purchasing a home or property.

The listing agents specifically Cristina Bales is not so great if you are thinking to make her a seller agent..She doesnt have courtesy to return calls from interested buyer agents nor respond to their questions let alone respond to offer.Though there are going to me multiple offers for a property its very essential that seller agent is open to communication and hence get the best offer from buyers.In her case she doesnt do the needful and bare minimum.Would highly recommend to stay away from Fohl reality and investments.

After interviewing several realtors, my wife and I met with Christina and Kerissa. We knew immediately that these women were capable and driven, and that Fohl was the right company for us. I got a sense of ownership and drive not present in other realtors. They took charge of every aspect, defined the issues for our sale, and got to work immediately. These woman know their industry, and have resources available to handle just about any problem or hurdle thrown at them. Not only did they present our home for sale in a professional and exciting way, they managed the open house and followed up with the dozen or so offers they produced on that one day. My wife and I had some fairly lofty expectations; Christina and Kerissa exceeded them at every turn and produced a breathtaking result for us. Because our move was coast to coast we had to leave much of the management of the sale of our home to these ladies. They produced fantastic results, and we are very grateful and thrilled with the outcome. He was reliable, friendly, and professional in buying/selling and managing the property. I had a pre-planned vacation trip for a month so I wanted to have a closing before the trip. Savan understood the urgency and expedited the closing process by effectively communicating with lender and the title company. His advice and support through closing was invaluable. I posted this review on Yelp, but Im repeating it here because Fohl & Hernandez are as good as it gets and everyone needs to know it.This is a difficult review to write. Why? Because there just arent enough superlatives to describe the excellence of Fohl & Hernandez. And not just Les and Brenda, but their entire organization. They, along with Mirella and Marissa were a joy to work with.We were in the unenviable position of having to sell our folks house after our mom passed away. The last time I sold a house was almost 30 years ago, so I had no real recollection of what to expect. It didnt matter, though. Along with being real estate virtuosos, Les and Brenda are kind and caring people who do an outstanding job of holding their clients hands.They walked us through every step of the process, never tired of answering every question we had, and provided us with expert advice that resulted in the house being sold for a surprising amount of money. The house was far from a palace, but Les and Brenda treated it like one and were very thoughtful regarding the pride my folks had in their home. Just amazing.I dont know how many more real estate transactions I have left in my lifetime, but I do know this. Whether youre a buyer or a seller, you couldnt possibly have anyone better than Fohl & Hernandez representing you.I guess you have to be a little suspicious of reviews that are all positive. So heres one negative:If youre a dog lover, prepare to have your heart broken. Youll fall in love with Journey and want to take her home, but Les wont let you :-{

We are “over the moon” happy that we chose Les Fohl Realty and Investments to list our home for us. We were on a short time crunch to get our parents home ready to sell and on the market. He provides a “prep to sell” service where he and his team handle all the home updating to get the home ready to sell. It took the burden of having to pick out paint colors and deal with contractors off our shoulders. For us, living remotely from the property and still working our own full-time jobs, this was a HUGE help and benefit. And the work was performed professionally and completed within a matter of weeks. At the end, the result was that the home sparkled like a diamond! We ended up getting top dollar for our property with the help of his service. We cannot thank Les and his team enough for their assistance. For us, Les is definitely more!
