One of the best truck stops Ive been to in awhile. 218 semi parking spots, lots of room to maneuver. Easy access off of hwy 99. Fresh air in the country. Have a Taco Bell, Jack in the Box and El Taco Loco across the street! Even give you a plastic bag, free of charge for your purchases (yeah, I thought I was in California?) Nice and clean parking and truck stop!

Perfect stop while road tripping. Especially while pulling oir trailer. They have a gas entrance for regular cars, rvs and truckers. Big store with CLEAN bathrooms. There was a taco truck and a stand nearby selling natural honey. Good grassy area for my dog to get a stretch too.

This review is towards the truck drivers showers. By far the worst one Ive been in first of all if your 6 good luck you gotta get on your knees to shower second the showers are small third no cold water really and no AC so it was like I never showerjust be ready when you get out the shower is like a sauna. The whole place just feels dirty. I gotta say this pilot is under bad management.

Really kind, friendly people working inside. Super comfortable to use the RV lane to fill our tank and reasonable prices for diesel and very cheap propane refill. There is a dump station. Security circulated the parking lot at night. Thank you for your hospitality Flying J.

Nice place. Stopped for gas and a hot cup of coffee. They also have a Taco Bell inside, as well as bathrooms and showers. Pretty cool for those driving long distances. Anyways, I’ve been driving all day and night. I had asked about how far I was from destination. Starting to get sleepy here! Dustin, his name was, had welcomed me to take a nap in the parking lot by his car, while he is on shift. Very nice of him to do that. Thankfully, the coffee was working like magic. Still, it’s nice to know there’s still good people out there with hospitality. It truly goes a long way.

We enjoy stopping at this place whenever we are going north on 99.They always have hot food available,and call me a scrub if you want,but I like their pizza there.If you are going to get six slices among yourselves,just get a whole pizza and mix and match different flavors.They also have Cinnabon which will give you all the sugar you need.Flying J also has low carb foods such as boiled eggs or salads.There is also a Wendys here for food,so there are enough food options to cover everyones taste.Lots of trucker stuff to buy also like cb radios,lights 12 volt crock pot,etc..Truckstop food can be good,but I am easy to please I guess...its a truck stop for pete sake.You can expect to have the same pizza,burritos and eggrolls,hotdogs,burgers whenever you go there,and that is a good thing...predictable.Pilot /Flying J has good grub.Good job People!!!

I parked and gathered my trash bag. Walking towards the trash compactor area i was approached by this store manager. Rudely i was informed to use the trash cans not this area. His attitude was like i interrupted him and a female employee in a off camera area. This manager needs to be investigated. After all touching a lower ee is not always welcome

I couldnt believe they had a CINNABON place in the store. They were nice and warm. We got the fresh Cinnabons that were just made. The taste was so delicious. The Supreme pizza was also very good. The crust was nice and soft. I enjoyed every bite of the pizza.

Dump station costs $10 regardless of whether you get gas there, and the water currently doesnt work. Fuel is also more expensive here than other nearby stations.

You may not believe this but they have the best pizza here and its sold by the slice. There is also a Subway and a Dennys to eat at. Gas prices are very reasonable. Easy on and off the freeway. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The store itself is in pretty good shape. My problem lies with their other services. I tried to purchase wifi to use on my laptop. For some reason, Pilot/Flying J decided that we dont need a one day access option anymore. Now you have to waste $20.00 for a month of access even if you only need it for a day. To make things worse, the service is absolute garbage. Its useable, but dont expect to do much other than basic web browsing, doom scrolling on Instagram etc. And the worst part? No refunds. Thanks for the big middle finger guys. Can you make it any more clear that you couldnt really care less about your core customer base?

1.5 hours for a trailer washout. The inside of my trailer was not bad at all. $39.99 price.20 mins just to setup their system at back end of trailer. They tarp up so the debris doesnt fly everywhere then they have to hook up the hose and pressure washer. Drivers with appointments need a place that is ready to go when you arrive.Will use this as last resort next time.Unable to clean trailer floor. Left because took too long.

Lots of fast pumps. Both a Dennys and Subway on site. Numerous bathrooms and showers. Full Flying J deli/hot food available. Theres also a bit of green grass outside of you need to walk your pet. This stop has it all.

Gross. No toilet paper no hand soap to wash your hands and one toilet is clogged. So only one toilet available and you can’t wash your hands after using the bathroom.That means the employees are using the restroom and not washing there hands afterwards. I asked to speak to a manager and the 2 that helped me just kinda brushed it off the lady said nothing just stood there. Just the one man went with the blue shirt walked away hopefully he went to check but who knows. This was all in the women’s restroom.

This flying J is always so busy and there is not enough staff member to help you out when you are checking out specially during the hours morning there is always rush and lots of costumers waiting to check out but there is only one counter person dealing with all the costumers .They are understaff, the bathrooms are very dirty .

Worst truck stop I have ever stopped at! Rude as far as customer service! Lines were long to get to register. I got a shower, and from the time I purchased it at the counter 13 mins later while I was finishing a quick shower maintenance was harassing me about taking too long. Seriously I take quick showers anyway! 13 mins included buying the shower at the front, walking to the back, using restroom, shower, and brushing teeth!

Always understaffed, usually one person to try and take care of twenty people in a line, everything is always backed up and waiting because of the stores refusal to hire enough people. I stopped at this location for fuel $806.21. I attempt to buy a Cinnabon & a $25 Robux giftcard with my debit card. I was told that I had to use cash for the Robux card.(un-heard of I use my debit card all over the country to purchase Robux for kids in my family). I paid debit $4.47 for the Cinnabon. I went to the ATM to withdraw cash for the giftcard purchase. I took a picture of the giftcard and forward it to the childs parent only to learn 2 days later that the giftcard was invalid. A small pitstop is the reason why we stopped as we headed down South. We navigated in and out of the parking lot with ease. The restroom was clean and roomy. Its a good location right off the freeway. Easy to get gas, go to the bathroom and get on your way. My problem was with one of the cashiers. She was quite mean the entire time we were there. People are for the most part traveling through the area. Theyre tired. Be patient with them.

He needs to be fired or should be given training on customer service.He served me on 3rd December at 6:45pmHe was inattentive towards me and was too occupied mingling with his co worker. Upon correcting him he further continued even louder conversing showing complete disregard towards a customer.This really infuriated me as I give you guys good business fuelling up and buying merchandise every week and the least I expect is a good customer service.Elijah is a real threat to you’re business and the management should look into this matter or I will not hesitate escalating this to the corporate office.It is always a pleasant experience at this truck stop but one bad employee can seriously ruin a reputation.I hope things will change on my next visit.

Store 154 they need to have better training, they dont know how to resolve problems with the Myrewards card, I travel a lot so I always used pilot travel gas station because of the discount, so today I noticed that the pump didnt give me the discount, I noticed before pumping so I went back and I told her (cashier) that the pump didnt give me the discount and she said it will give you the discount after you pump and I said I dont think so we need to reset it she no put gas and it will give you the discount, so I did put gas and I went to get the change and I told her did they give me the discount? She said no, let me ask my manager if I can give you the discount in cash, of course the manager said no which I knew, thats why I think they need a better training on how to resolve all the problems

One girl that transferred from another store was friendly, everyone else could care less in the store. The laundry didnt have a single working washing machine and the laundry room was filthy, there were several places in the store that could use a cleaning. Oddly enough the restrooms were very clean. The Dennys here is really terrific. The parking lot is large and fairly clean. Shower was very small but clean, no seat at all besides stool, barely room for me and my wife in there. I saw a shore power kiosk on the front of the store but I didnt notice which spaces if any had it.

One of the best Flying Js Ive been to. Im in an RV so I parked on the road (Zachary Ave.) Probably not staying overnight though as this place is really busy. My biggest complaint is the 2 brand new idiot RVers that decided to pull into the truck parking lot. Theres tons of parking available outside of the drivers lot. If youre in an RV, use your head and park where the rest of the RVs park.

Coffee on 2/21/19 was nasty. The coffee pot were nasty and haven’t been cleaned for awhile, the coffee was old, and was about out. The fresh brewed coffee is too strong for me even though it good. At 11:00pm there was NO hot food. Wish Flying J will keep hot food options at their deli so we have something to eat at night other than pizza options and sometimes we don’t even have pizza.

I showed the manager a picture of the toilet, the person cleaning the shower didnt lift the lid up, I found toilet paper in the toilet and pee stains on the front of the seat. Fast friendly staff. Good place to stop for gas and goodies. Some have restaurants inside or many fast food options near by. I always stop to get gas stretch my legs get a drink sometimes I will get something to eat eat whether its there food or one of the options near by. Ate at the Dennys and the service and food was great. As far as the truck side though since this is a truck stop, too much of the parking is reserved only and shows the greed of the corporation. I love most of the truck stop places. For the most part they are clean the shower rooms are clean they have great service I think when it comes to the truckers. I think there as only been one that I went to that wasnt very clean. I have a few trucker friends that I travel with once in awhile.

What a place!Im pretty sure the woman sitting in the truckers lounge was a hooker.I used the laundry facilities (three washers and six dryers). The washers didnt really get my work clothes clean. I swear, they looked worse after I took them out of the washer (which cost $2.25 a load.) The dryers also cost $2.25 a load, and my clothes werent dry when the dryer stopped quite some time later. I wont do laundry here again.I took a shower too, and the shower was absolutely clean, and the door locked securely. The shower cost $12.I wont go out of my way to stop here again, but if Im ever in the area and in need of a shower, I would take another shower here.

Could have been better, could have been worse. The diesel fuel lanes had timers over them to let you know who had been there longer. I assume the longer they had already been there then they would be pulling up out of the way sooner.The Dennys Restaurant inside had been closed down, although all the neon signs outside were still lit up.Restroom had not been cleaned overnight. We stayed in our truck overnight and it was clear to see. Im speaking of the ladys room.

This place is pretty busy with lots of big rig traffic along with regular vehicular traffic. There is ample parking space available. The store is usually clean and is usually crowded but lines seem to move swiftly for the most part. Theres many different snacks and prepared food available and the prices are pretty decent. There is a Dennys and Subway located there which is open 24 hours.

Lots of pumps, lots of parking, nice clean and neat building inside, decent food. All in all not a bad place to fuel. The most important thing to me is I can usually arrive, fuel and leave within 15 minutes. Thats a huge plus on most days. Theres a bit of construction on the streets around there right now, but it doesnt seem to hurt movement too much.Two negatives to me. Sometimes the pump area is a little messy and slick with fuel on the ground. Not ridiculously so, but enough to hurt my opinion. The second is the design of the pumps. The line of pumps bends in the middle, so you pull forward into an area that is concave in the middle. So if trucks pull forward from the pumps and stop to go into the store or something, a couple of trucks at pumps can end up being blocked from leaving. VERY bad design.

Flying J and pilot centers are my favorite to stop at but the restrooms in this one were dirty and smelled bad. I am certain they may have been short staffed at that shift time, because their reputation is excellent, in my opinion. These centers are my favorite stop while on the road to see family. This spot is right on the middle of my commute to work and back home. I like to stop by whenever I dont feel like stopping in town. The place is fairly clean and has a big selection of goodies inside. The prices on gas are reasonable 2-5 cents more then arco. When I came in I was just gonna fix an air line that I broke by mistake why parking in the lot and just as always things happen for a reason. The mechanic there Juan noticed my rear wheels werent activating the spring action and so he looked into it to see that I had been driving with little to no rear brakes. Night time ladies were super rude!! First I asked to scan my rewards card so I could earn as I’m a PROFESSIONAL DRIVER. When she pulled up my account and saw PROFESSIONAL DRIVER, she verified my name with an attitude. Theres not much of interest between Northern Ca after Fresno and Bakersfield along the I 5. I moved on. Tired and hungry but still good to drive and think. Mostly about my daughter. The one thats in jail most of the time. Shes a mystery to me. Shes beautiful and smart and funny. A force of nature. Being in a room with her you can feel her fierce energy fill the space and make it crackle. Shes like that. Shes also criminally inclined and likes most kinds of drugs. All her friends are or have been behind bars. She herself has been in jail more than out these last couple of years. I fear she has become institutionalized. A reliable truck stop. However, I drive a motorhome and they have a dump site thats pretty easy to get into. When I spoke to somebody before going there they said they had water that I could use to put in the motor home. When I got there they said they didnt so, sometimes the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing. But the place has a lot of room and its easy to move a big vehicle around their lot.

Hit and miss on showers. Hot day and hot shower no cool water. Cut up towel that was supposed to be used as cleaning rag was given out to drivers as washcloths. Another driver complained about his washcloth and this was what the worker was telling him as I was there too. Homeless people sitting in drivers lounge so many that they took up most of the seats. I was not expecting this Flying J in the northern outskirts of Bakersfield, Ca to be as great as it was. The quality of their PJ Fresh is one of the best that youll find in any Pilot/Flying J. Id take a picture but I already scarfed down that slice of pizza.

I have traveled over million miles, there was always a restaurant inside not now! It SUCKS! SUBWAY OR FROZEN REHEATED FOOD! Truck drivers are people who bring all sorts products across country! This T.S. doesnt really recognize them. Sad.

Nice modern stop at exit 39 off California 99. Only one RV pump with a bit of a narrow access. You could easily fill up at one of the other pumps if the RV pump was occupied.

It is one of nicest truck stops that Ive seen you can even watch movies in a dark room and put your feet up the stuff seem friendly and welcoming it is off the freeway so dont get your hopes up for a beautiful view but it will do for a rest

There are phasing out the old style of making coffee there now you have to wait on machine to make coffee for you LMAO now it takes longer to getting coffee in the morning as a truck driver time is precious theyre forgetting about that technology is pushing Inn at truck stops not very good but anyway what are you going to do LMAO the service is great though all in all great place to stop very clean

Theres always parking here, it seems. Lots of space to back and park in, dont know about the showers, their pizza tends to sit longer than some other Flying Js.

Professional Drivers AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!Untrained staff, the ones old enough to know better have a horrible attitude. If you value your time and money stay away from their Subway. Loves in Tulare up the road, a much better choice. Sorry, I love Flying J, just not this one.

When I went in to take my Shower. The Toilet was dirty and the shower was full of hair. Didnt look like it was cleaned. And thats after I fueled up with 185 gallons. I spend a lot of money with both the J and Pilot.

They had a lot to offer us;they had a small Lil cinnabon in there which was really kool,cause u might get the late night munchies and that will, hit that sweet tooth right out the ball park ..♧These places r good place to stop at for all ur needs..just be careful from the creeps and weirdos. ..stay on ur toes,cause it is a truck stop..a lot of hidden things going on. .

A lot of stuff. Anything youd need, including a laundromat. Very clean bathrooms. The shop was like a grocery store, there was so much stuff. Its a great place to stop and stretch your legs when your on a long drive.

Do you want a 34-hour reset and I see they never empty the trash cans outside. They just stay full and garbage on the ground so people can pick through it and grab all the plastic bottles and make a bigger mess, I even saw an employee here digging through the trash cans

Never wasted so much time in a truck stop, showers were super slow, the cashier said my debit didnt work when my bank said everythings was fine, wasted more money to have to pull it out of the atm machine to waste more time back online.... Its just wrong never again

Was approached by a man trying to take our photos and would not leave us alone. I think he is a regular trucker, felt very unsafe and we left quickly.
