Today, I needed three presentation bouquets for an event. Flowers by Maria worked within my budget and timeline. Im truly grateful for their commitment to bringing joy to both the buyer and recipients alike. Moreover, Sydney was kind enough to create unique bouquets for each of the ladies who were presented with these gifts of gratitude for their hard work. Ordering a plant online, only from a picture, is always challenging... you need to believe that the plant being delivered is as lovely as the picture on the site and IT WAS. What a beautiful Orchid. Maria’s Flowers did an excellent job at creating my bouquet for my wedding. My bouquet was beautiful and exactly as I wanted it to be, and it arrived in great shape. My only issue was with the boutonnières. I had requested that they make them all exactly the same, so we wouldn’t have any confusion and wouldn’t have to worry about trying to figure out which guy would wear which one, which they had agreed to. When they arrived, they were all different. Two of them had sunflowers, some of them had white flowers, it was a bit of a mix, which made it a little bit stressful on the day of the wedding to try and organize them. I had also let them know that the boutonnières wouldn’t be the type with the pin, I wanted to put them in pocket protectors to avoid the hassle of attaching the pins, so I asked that they make them according to that request. They came as the type that were meant to be pinned on, so the guys had to spend extra time getting them figured out. They still looked nice, just wasn’t exactly what I had requested, so for this, I’m giving 4 stars. I appreciate Maria’s providing me with a beautiful bouquet anyway!

What amazing service. First of all, the site was easy to navigate. I had special instructions on my order and I received a call to clarify the instructions and they were so pleasant and friendly. And the absolute best part, the flowers are perfection. This was my girls first Mothers Day and I wanted it to be special and the arrangements were the finishing touch. I honestly cant put into words how amazing the arrangements are, beyond my expectations. I was expecting standard tulips and received double tulips, the sunflowers are so vibrant. I was told in the confirmation call that they would look like the picture and they are so much nicer than the picture. I would absolutely use them, again and again.

I ordered a memorial spray for my mothers memorial weeks prior to the event. When I picked it up the flowers were sparce, some were old and wilted, some of the greenery was old and brittle, and some of the flowers were completely closed up. I showed them the photo from their website of what it was supposed to look like and Maria kept saying they made the spray bigger for me. I never asked for them to make it bigger and that still doesnt explain the wilted flowers and old greenery. They added some flowers and took out the old wilted ones and it was then decent but not amazing but I took it because I had not other choice since the memorial was only hours away. They were not apologetic and even seem irritated with me. Obviously I was very disappointed.

A bit of a lengthy story, but I feel its worth telling. Ordered from here for the first time to have flowers delivered to my wife in the hospital. She never got the delivery and at first was really disappointed. When given a satisfaction survey I mentioned she never got them. That day I got a call and they assured me the flowers had been delivered. They then called the hospital to see what happened and called me back with updates on the flowers getting lost somewhere in the hospital after they were delivered. The next day the owner called and had flowers delivered to our house after my wife got home from the hospital. It wasnt even their fault and they did everything they could to make sure my wife got flowers. I appreciate them so much for going out of their way and their amazing customer service. Thank you!!

Flowers by Maria never disappoints. I always do designers choice when I get flowers from them and I give them very little to go off of but they always do an amazing job. Not only are their arrangements impressive but there customer service is amazing. I called internationally to make this order by phone as I wanted a local florist and to be sure delivery would be same day. They happened to have a customer in the middle of making a very large order there and asked if they could call back. Using images on their web site as I spoke on the phone, I was able to choose a design and set up my order easily. Helpful service. Delivery was within a few hours. I needed arrangements for a special occasion…with Covid making gatherings so hard, getting cancelled etc the smaller safe events you can have become even more precious. Yolanda was very professional, kind, and thorough while guiding me in the ordering process. I felt as though I was talking with a friend rather than just placing a flower order at a random store. Yolanda assured me that Maria would do a wonderful job with the arrangement being sent to my Mom.Not only was my Mom incredibly impressed by the arrangement that was sent, but so many of my family members that saw the arrangement have also commented on how beautiful it was. I cant claim to have used their services but Im leaving a review anyway because I appreciate the way they do business: Even though search results and social media tell you that their Simi Valley location delivers personal flower arrangements to Fillmore—it does not. (It works on WEDDINGS out there, and content management systems have no way of distinguishing, which I have since noticed is an issue across the industry, but I digress).I learned this after placing an order and getting a courteous call from Carolyn (sp?) to inform me of the mix up. After gently apologizing and explaining how theyve tried but no of know way to fix this problem, she looked up an alternative florist to recommend (and they didnt charge my card so I didnt have to wait for a refund). Overall, a very nice interaction with no actual transaction but it shows the character of the place so Im sharing!
