Normally, other than the barrage of calls at all hours of the day and night, Flock isnt a bad company to run loads for. But I do have a gripe over a recent load I did for them. It was a 2 pick 2 drop load with around 1,100 miles paying $1,800. Not great, but okay.I pick up the first partial, but when I get to the second pickup, it wont all fit on my truck because unbeknownst to anyone, the first pickup was larger than the pallets and the shipper refused to split up the load.Without the second pickup and first drop, I still had to drive over 1k miles, but the broker dropped the rate down to $1k plus $150 TONU. I never would have taken a thousand miles run for $1,200 and in the end, it actually costed me more to carry that load than what I made.I get it, the broker still has to move the second partial. But the reason the problem existed in the first place was because Flock didnt verify the actual dimensions of the products being shipped and instead of honoring the original agreement, since they were the ones at fault here, they passed the loss off onto me.This is why trucking companies are critical of brokers. Theres no integrity.

Stay away as far as you can from this joke company, our delivery appt was set at 7:30 am, according to flock freight, arrived at the receiver at 6:50 am, checked in with receiving dept and they said that we dont have any delivery appt, - load rejected, started to call and email flock freight, ZERO RESPONSE FROM FLOCK FREIGHT, ZERO COMUNICATION WHATSOEVER, NO EMAILS NO PHONE, LOOKS LIKE THEY DONT CARE FOR CARRIERS OR THIER CUSTOMERS-SHIPPERS /RECEIVERS, JUST STAY AWAY, 4 HOURS HAVE PASSED, STILL ZERO RESPONSE, WE R TAKING OUR TRUCK BACK TO OUR YARD. JUST A WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THIS BROKER, if i could give them zero stars review i would, but there is no option for that THATS WHY I GAVE THEM ONE STAR.

We have not been able to book any loads with Flock Freight since the loads posted does not pertain to our truck and rates are no longer competitive. When bidding and being approved for loads, they are assigned to a shared truck load for extra low rates. We use to carry 10 or more loads a months and had a great rating.

I have been working with Flock Freight for about 6 months now, and they are absolutely great. Their competitive rates and customer service are unmatched in the industry. I’ve been working with Stephen Kennedy, and can I tell you, he is the best manager, dispatcher, broker representative I’ve worked with. Any questions or problems I’ve faced, he handled them professionally and right away. I now book 90% of my loads with Flock Freight, because I feel, hands down, they are the best. Update 5/22/23: Shortly after my previous review, Kevin Vankirk over at Flock Freight contacted me by phone. We discussed my concerns and within 5 days I had all issues resolved and paid in full. Along the way, Mr. Vankirk personally made it his top priority to handle my business with constant communication and delivery. I appreciate Flock Freight’s team and especially Kevin for hearing my concerns and handling your business with top level professional support.I have been a carrier with Flock Freight for over a year. They do not pay timely. Not terrible but not good. Up until recently. My factoring company cut ties with them around May 2023. Since then I have had an extremely difficult time getting paid. I have $10,000 in outstanding invoices with them. I have a hard time getting ahold of my representative. Try and call accounting. You can’t. Emails only. I have been here twice before where companies go bankrupt and do not pay carriers outstanding invoices.

Brokers are rude as hell, hang up in your face when you call if you don’t want to be at work don’t make the company look bad. Hope you get fired! This is a male Karen broker.

Recently signed up with Flock Freight as a Carrier, my initial experience has been getting worse by the minute. Christopher Johnson from the Encinitas, CA office is a very irresponsible individual. Seems like Im working with a kid. Just waiting to get my payout for the one and only loads I did with them and then terminate our agreement for incompetency.
