You’ve really got to try the quiche Lorraine here. It’s to die for. These are really Europeans making the best authentic dishes (Swiss and French, so be careful who you accuse of being French!!). The outdoor seating is super nice and the pastries are also superb. I had a special pineapple treat which was amazing. Coffee also marvellous as you’d expect, and plenty of sweet treats if you choose to explore them!

Hands down best breakfast/ lunch/ sweets spot in Los Gatos.Their treats are made in house and are always fresh. Not commercial (or overhyped) like the alternatives.Wonderful people!Good for desserts/ special occasion too.

Chocolate mousse is made there and is absolutely excellent. Their desserts are surprisingly good and very rich. They are very very expensive about $11 for a small dessert but still worth it for the experience

The desserts were great but felt too sweet. We got their mango delight and a chocolate based dessert. The texture was light and the flavour was subtle. I would have given 5 stars if it wasnt too sweet. Its a very small place and you may not have seats all the time. They do have coffee and tea along with desserts.

We stopped in for the first time and I got an Americano and my wife got green tea latte. The mere were a lot of chocolates to chose from and I just picked a few. They were delicious and very rich and filling. We will definitely come back again to try some of the other chocolates. I would highway recommend this place.

Hands down the BEST croissants in the bay. Line is out the door for a good reason. Even with the long line, it moves quickly. The staff is super friendly and efficient. Be prepared for crowds and amazing pastries.

Pretty cool place with a good selection of french pastries! Really good service! My friends and i visited this place on a cool Saturday evening. We were confused about what to take and the helper there, Karly, was really nice in helping us choose the cakes. They explained us which ones are popular and what each cake tastes like! We ended up ordering fleur de cocoa, a paris, and a tiramisu. Along with that, a croissant. All the things were really nice!Outdoor seating available. Very limited indoor seating(one table with a few chairs).

I adore this patisserie chocolaterie. You will find that everything they make is beautifully crafted.For any special celebration, I will order in advance and get one of their delicious mousse cakes. My family loved all flavors we’ve gotten so far and we’re always looking forward to the next time. Some of our favorites include: The Royal, The Eclipse, and the Fraisier (this one is seasonal)I’ve also tried their chocolates. They are just as delicious as the cakes.The flavors are delicate, yet perfectly layered and complex-tasting. You can tell they use high quality ingredients.Service is always pleasant and courteous.10/10 from me, highly recommended

Delicious desert and coffee spot. I got the honeybear coffee which tasted like teddy grahams! My husband got a custard pie. He said his was a little dry and he was jealous of my dish. I got the Satin, which is ladyfinger with raspberry custard filling. The boxes open into little plates, by the way. I would definitely recommend this place. Yum.

Fleur de Cocoa created an amazing dessert table for my April wedding. My husband and I love all French Patisserie and had cakes from Fleur de Cocoa at parties with friends in the past. Their assortment of petit fours and ability to make a croquembouche was what drew us to them for our wedding. We had 4 petit fours (yuzu meringue tarts, chocolate elcairs, berry vanilla tarts, and paris mousse cakes) and 2 croquembouches (one chocolate and one passion fruit). They were delicious! They delivered the desserts to my family property in Hollister. They set up a beautiful table! The croquembouches were so fun for us to crack into for our cake cutting. Having small desserts enabled people to try a few and self service very easy. Everyone raved about the flavors and quality. We were even able to freeze some extra desserts for us to enjoy following our return from our honeymoon. Planning a wedding at your own venue makes interactions with professional companies so much more important and Fleur de Cocoa, specifically Aline made it all the more easier.

We came in to the store on a rainy Saturday evening around 6.30 pm, and were greeted by nice and friendly staff. We ordered a few delicious petite croissants and drool over all the very lovely cakes, tarts etc.. will come back to try out those delicious looking pastry

Exactly what I was looking for! Fleur de Cocoa definitely met and exceeded my expectations. I found this place after searching online. I was a bit hesitant since it was a 20 minute drive from my house. But it was definitely worth the drive.Omg! We couldn’t be happier with our choices. We ordered the Royal and the Salango chocolate Cake. I’m usually a fast eater. Surprisingly, not this time. It took us quite a while to finish our cakes. They were super yummy, very rich and delicate. We sure enjoyed every bite. :)Customer service here is amazing. Everyone here is super nice and friendly. the place is very clean and well kept. Will definitely be back!

Really cute French cafe with delicious food (both savory and sweet). I had the quiche (with chicken, brocoli, cheddar and thyme) and it was really good. However, pretty expensive ($8.50) for a small piece. Given the prices, I would expect a bigger portion. They have a good variety of pastries (such as pain au chocolat, croissants, etc.), but some of them seemed a little burnt the day we went. I tried a small almond croissant and although the inside was delicious, the outside was too tough. The crème de tomato soup my mom had was okay (not a lot of flavor, but cool flaky bread in the top) and the cappuccino/tea were great. I tried the Paris tea and it tasted delicious, black tea with a hint of berries. I wouldnt come here every day given the high prices, but definitely for a special treat!

Every September, we celebrate about 6 birthdays. We strive to find different bakeries that amazes us with best cakes, cake designs, customer service and always important the cleanliness. With a bad experience at Flower Flour, we decided to expand our search. We found Fleur de Cocoa to be friendly, with great customer service. I had many questions and the manager answered all my questions without being annoyed. She explained the different cakes and just really helpful. We ending going with the Stain which is a combo of white chocolate and raspberry moose! It was heavily! We didn’t let any piece go to waste! Everyone complimented how yummy the cake was and how it just has the right sweetness. We will come back to order other cakes for here.

Beautifully crafted desserts (very expensive @ $10+ per). The mousse ones we tried (we bought 3, 1 to take away and 2 eaten on the scene) were light, airy and not very sweet. So if youre looking for substance & weight in your dessert, this aint it. Must return to try the tartes, which look like the crust would provide heft. Im usually very much a chocolaholic, but in this case I preferred the Mango Mousse (with passion fruit in the middle) made the deepest impression. I thought the Royal was meh, and the Raspberry Mousse w chocolate was scandalous (made with white chocolate). But overall Id say we should return to try again, even after spending $40+ for 4 small desserts!

Really nice french bakery with tasty cakes and coffee. They also have chocolates that I have not tried, but gelato (which availability is seasonal) is also quite good. In general, pastries are the best products. A few indoor seatings, no outdoor seatings. Parking is on the street which sometime is hard to come by when the place is busy.

The dessert case displayed some very colorful and enticing choices around ~10$ each. I thought we might end up having to walk with our after lunch treats so I passed on a plated cake. (although they have many delicious looking gluten-free offerings here). Lucky for us we ended up scoring a table outside alongside the late lunch crowd. Cappuccino had a nice frothy and solid foam which is a rarity. The cannelé had a lot of vanilla flavor and the kouign amman was fun to eat (soft folds of dough within the crispy crunchy outer layers).

The coffee and pastry was ok, but there is always price discrepancy between the advertised price and the actual charge on your check. The cashier didn’t issue refund or offer any apology. You won’t get rich by overcharging unsuspecting customers. I urge you to stop dishonest business practice now. They also added 4% of service charge, What type of service you provided?

This was a delightfully delicious patisserie; everything was very fresh. 😋 Yum-yum!I hope its the same now. My family stopped visiting this place some time ago because we had an incident when we placed an order, and the cash register suddenly stopped working. It was not our fault at all, and nonetheless, the cashier took our phone number and called my husband every morning for three days, reminding him to return the money for two cups of coffee. Lol, because this caffè is our local, and we had intended to return the money at a convenient time for us, but we didnt even get a chance. 🙂Thanks to this incident, we discovered several excellent coffee shops nearby!P.S. This is a cafe with realistic French patisserie atmosphere. The breakfast selection outside of pastries is not extensive, but the sandwich we had was tasty.The croissants here taste better than those of nearby Manresa Bread (the other place I love). But they are still a bit too stiff and dry on the inside compared to a good croissant in France. More butter! ☺The pastry and cake selection is amazing, and prices even if higher than normal, are reasonable for the quality you get.The service was very very friendly and knowledgeable. Delicious little cafe!Wanted to grab a quick bite around Los Gatos and stumbled upon this cute gem of a place. The place was quite busy and there were a lot of customers inside sitting and eating. Luckily they have an outdoor space to accommodate more people.Primarily a bakery store but they have light breakfast/lunch times like Avacado toasts, soups etc.I decided to get a few amazing croissants- raspberry pistachio almond with orange and chocolate banana almond croissants :) They also have mini croissants which is a great option if you dont want to eat a whole big one. Relatively speaking this is an expensive place. The mini croissants are as expensive as a regular full size croissants in other bakeries. The raspberry croissants were ok, not as good as the plain almond or chocolate ones. I also got a French onion soup and it tasted ok. Not the best I have had. They had a lot of amazing looking desserts which I would be happy to try another time.

Ive lived in the area for nearly twenty years and its my first time here. Recently Ive been walking around downtown area on the weekends while Im charging a car.Its quite good. For a change, croissant wasnt the size of my head like dinner place. As soon as I but into the butter croissant, I can feel the layers and smelled butter. Im a simple man. Used to be a pretty decent place for cakes but I recently tried a few slices and they all tasted heavily of detergent. I suppose there were dishwasher detergent remnants on the surface they used to cool the chocolates. I had to throw away all the cakes. I called in to inform the staff of the issue and they were indifferent to my concerns.

This is an incredible patisserie and chocolaterie. Fantastic pastries and desserts, from a couple who really do it right. Try the savory pastries like the leek and cheese or the ham and gruyere, or go for the full decadence of the chocolate hazelnut filled brioche or the chocolate almond croissant. If you have a fancy dinner party, get some incredible, gorgeous desserts that will wow your guests. The desserts here are better than any restaurant in Los Gatos or Saratoga. And the hand made truffles are pure decadence but extremely well balanced; I often buy things I ordinarily wouldnt touch because they are so skilled that they make unusual and challenging flavors blend perfectly with nuance and a deft touch. Seriously, we are so lucky to have a place like this in town.

They used to be my go to place for mousse based desserts but sadly I had to throw an entire batch of pâtisseries (Côte D’Ivoire, Royal, Red and Black, Fleur de Cocoa) I got for a birthday party on 10th Aug after feeling embarrassed to serve my guests desserts that had a strong detergent taste. My guess is the mousse itself was alright but the chocolates used for decorations were made on a silpat/surface that had a dishwasher detergent residue, as they smelled and tasted horrible. Anyway, since the place was such a favorite, our instinct was to call them and let them know. Instead of being concerned or apologetic however, they responded with a no worries. Mistakes happen, and can be moved past, but being arrogant about them is inexcusable.

The coffee was good, but the hand made chocolates were incredible.I had intended to go to Great Bear Coffee to chat and catch up on life with an old friend I hadnt seen in about a decade. Having parked behind the north side of N Santa Cruz Ave, we entered downtown from the street where Mikes Bikes occupies the corner lot, dangerously placing this little gem between us and our destination... needless to say, we didnt make it to Great Bear that night.Ultimately it most likely turned out to be a better choice in terms of being able to sit and chat, as it wasnt busy like the longer established coffee shops in LG. As a black coffee drinker, I have no complaints about the quality of the coffee and would stop for another cup if walking past again. But for the chocolates... this is the kind of quality hand made decadence that can establish itself as a destination all its own.If you have the opportunity to swing by this place and experience the sweets they have to offer, I most definitely recommend you do. The young woman who helped us while we took quite a while to choose a box of 12 was amazingly helpful and patient as well. Thankfully there wasnt a queue of others waiting for service or anything! 10/10 will go again!

They also have a small menu of sandwiches and cooked items which are also very good but can take a long time to prepare. One of my favorite places in Los Gatos. Pricey, but good quality coffee, pastries, sandwiches, chocolates, cakes. Go there for lunch (soups, salads, quiche, sandwiches) or for a cup of your favorite drink. Inside and outside sitting. About 3 small tables inside and two tables outside - quite limited sitting. Get there earlier in the day to catch apricotines (my 1st choice of pastries). Staff is very friendly.

My sister, who has Alzheimers, and I had a light lunch here. We were seated inside at the one big tAble near the window. The waitresses were so so kind and allowed us to sit there for a couple of hours and people-watch, sipping multiple cups of coffee and decadent pastries! I cant thank them enough for their kindness and reassurance that it was ok for us to sit so long (all the other tables were outside and it was clear that this a favorite spot). Superb food and thoughtful service.

A sweet little bakery with great treats for all ages.Their cakes are moist and flavorful, with great chocolate and fruit.On the other hand, their hot chocolate was, well, interesting. The taste was decent, however a weird skin formed on top of the drink. It looked congealed and almost fatty, something you dont hope to see from fresh hot chocolate.

Fleur de Cocoa is amazing since December 2019! The new owners are wonderful I am so thrilled they took over the business because I used to go but not as often as now. I promised to the owner that I will go every Saturday to grab 4 pastries because of covid19.Both her and her husband are always smiling and so sweet with every customer.Originally from France I am so happy to enjoy these wonderful and beautiful pastries on weekends.I highly recommend this place specially since it was taken over with these two specialist of pastries since December2019!.

Amazing French Bakery in Los Gatos. It’s a little far for us but their Almond Croissants is spot on!I wanted to not like this place because it was very difficult to order due to a number of things. Their website have different prices. The ordering system on the website was incorrect. Dates were incorrect (e.g. it said Tuesday, January 14,2021 🤦🏻‍♀️).I emailed to try to order. I was told to call and order but each time I called no one answers. I left several messages and left a message on their Instagram as well and still wasn’t able to order. Finally, I just frantically called several times one day and finally got thru.That all disappeared when we tried their butter croissants, pain au chocolat and croissant amandes. It was better than Mademoiselle Colette and Maison Alyzee. (Maison Alyzee is a family favorite. It is conveniently close to us. Mademoiselle Colette is a close second just don’t buy their baguette and bread).I will post our review of their galette des rois. It is the most expensive out of the SIX (6), yes you read that right, 6 French bakeries we tried around the Bay Area.

Amazing assortment of desserts and about 1/2 of them are actually gluten free, which is a blessing for my friend who has Celiac disease. I had the apple tart and its the best one Ive had in the U.S., just like they make them in Europe (Bijan and Cocola dont even come close). On top of that, the employees were super nice, even though I was grimy from my hike and wearing all my ugly hiking gear and definitely dragging down the ambiance of the place!

Very unprofessional and stuck up bakery. Contacted them by phone asking if they make croquembouche. The girl on the phone was clueless and said no (she doesnt even know what it was). Then I told her the website of the bakery said they made it. She had to ask someone else and then told me I had to email them. Not a problem. I emailed them on Aug 28th to ask them about ordering a croquembouche and 3 cakes to be ready on September 12th. Aline, their manager, emailed me back on the same day saying they could make me a croquembouche for September 12th but they dont deliver. So from Aug 28th to Aug 30th I literally called so many delivery companies to ask if they would pick up and deliver to my event. During those 3 days, Aline was still in touch with me to answer questions about the croquembouche, stringing me along. Then on Aug 31st I told her I was ready to order. She didnt reply to me until 3 days later. Saying she could not make me a croquembouche because the chef is already working on 2 other croquembouche. I dont know why she couldnt tell me this earlier but chose to string me along for 3 days, wasting my time calling literally about 20 delivery companies.No matter how good their cakes and pastries are, their customer service is horrible and I would not buy a single piece of pastry here.

And they have a wonderful Earl Grey tea they serve by the pot - let it steep and throw in a dash of cream - Super Good! I came yesterday with my best friend and we are from France, we were amazed finding some french looking products so we ran in but the excitement went down faster than we thought... The place is beautiful, not so big though. We came in and ordered some pastries for an expensive total, I dont mind paying for good things but not for that. The waiters didnt come ask if we were doing okay which should happened! The patries themselves are not eatable, for the eclairs for example the dough is not tasty, too thick and dry and the pastry cream is not pastry cream. Pastry cream needs to be made with corn flour and not with regular flour and has to cook for 5-6min ... They could definitely be more successful if they were paying more attention. The mile-feuille was overcooked such as the croissants which is not acceptable. The chef was looking very busy and unfriendly. But at least the place is clean! This place can trick americans but not french people, if they want to copy us then please do it better and use real vanilla bean for your pastry cream. Its a touristic area, they arent allowed to give up on making the best!

We stopped here for a light breakfast and enjoyed everything that we got. I ordered a chocolate, almond croissant and we split a hot chocolate. I thought both were very good, and I definitely enjoyed eating them. I had read others reviews about the staff being snooty, but I didnt experience that at all.The croissant was small, but delicious. It definitely was fresh and had some really european flavors to it that I enjoyed. The hot chocolate was liquidy and rich. I loved how creamy it was and that they added whipped cream. It definitely made for a good breakfast drink, but I still think that the Palo Alto hot chocolate at Moniques takes the cake. Overall, if you are in Los Gatos, this place makes for a great light breakfast and makes you feel oh so European. :)

My daughter and I stopped in and bought over $64.00 worth of desserts and chocolates. The inner layer of the mille feuilles was burnt and that flavor permeated the pastry cream. The package of small macarons had 5 different flavors in one package. Due to that the flavors bled into each other and were difficult to tell what was what. The pear tart was ok. The lemon rasp tart was ok, but the rasp didnt come through. I forget the name of the choc. Cake roll (divoire?) Was moist, but not a strong flavor. For the price my expectations were high. I have baked in French bakeries and it was disappointing. My daughter rated the products a 1.

Everything from plain, chocolate, cheese, and sometimes (seasonal) raspberry, pear, and apple are offered at this quaint bakery in downtown Los Gatos. Some varieties are also offered in mini versions, so you can taste a variety.To my delight, the pastries are not overly sweetened. Some of my favorites - the intoxicating (literally) eclairs and mille-feuille, swan cream puffs, Tarte Normande, Fleur de Cocoa, and strawberry cream pastry (forget the name, but only offered in the Summer).
