I was very impressed by how well trained the staff is. The salesperson who helped me was very young, and I was concerned that he wouldnt be very knowledgeable. It was the exact opposite. He was informed, patient, thorough, and effective.Im not an avid runner and hadnt purchased this type of footwear in about 25 years. This was the best place for me.

I came here with my wife on a Monday. Im a large, heavy set man trying to get into shape and I have always just bought shoes by going into a store and trying it on. Fleet Feet is different. I met with Collin who explained everything to me and came back with some amazing shoes and I purchased a pair of shoes that is possibly the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever purchased in my life and walking, for the first time, no pain.Thank you Fleet Feet and Collin for the help!

This place is great. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I do suggest making an appointment/reservation online if you can, as this is a process and if you dont reserve a space in advance, you could be waiting for a bit...depending on the needs of the customers ahead of you. Elliott was the one who fitted me and it was a pleasure to have him help me out. He was thoughtful, energetic, fun and he knew his stuff. Thanks, Elliott!

I have NEVER had this high level customer of service. My wife needed help with plantar fasciitis. Elliott greeted us, took his time to explain and understand what, why and how. We came to buy a pair but ended up buying 2 pairs. I really hope fleet feet recognizes and reward employees like Elliott for their good customer service. He is the reason we will be back. A good shop for sports shoes. Recommended by my son’s coach and they actually had the nice running shows however options were limited.They have other good sports stuff collection.It opens at 10am on Sat/Sun so we had to grab the shoes quickly and drove to Martinez where we had the x-country tournament.

Cant speak highly enough of my experience at this store. The 3d scanning and evaluation of my feet was so helpful. Matthew helped me out and was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, patient, and gave specific feedback to all of my questions. Didnt feel like they were forcing me to buy anything and I didnt know they had a 60 day return policy that allows you to try on the shoe. So epic! Would recommend for anyone looking to find the right footwear for whatever activity theyre interested in.

Its been awhile (pre-COVID) since I last came here. I remember the experience being enjoyable and effective, which is why I made the relatively long drive to come here vs. stores closer to home. Sure enough, the process was just as good and I came away happy with my purchase! Their outfitting process provides lots of good data about how I walk and they do a good job of explaining the results. There ended up being three options to choose from that all felt good but were clearly different. It made me feel very good about my choice. The lady who helped me was nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. I overheard the other guy working and he seemed equally proficient. I wouldve been happy with whomever served me.Make sure you get on the wait list before driving over! The outfitting process takes awhile per person so you could end up being there for an hour or more if there are a few people ahead of you. If you ended up in this situation, go check out the rest of downtown Pleasanton though. There are lots of shops to suck up the time.Ill definitely be coming back to buy replacement shoes from here. I cant say enough good things about my experience at Fleet Feet! As an avid runner training for my first marathon, I knew I needed to invest in a good pair of running shoes. The staff at Fleet Feet went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair.The store has an amazing selection of top running shoe brands like Brooks, Saucony, Asics, and more. I told the employee what kind of running I do, any injuries, my gait, and he proceeded to bring out multiple options for me to try on. I tested each pair by walking and jogging across the store. They even have a treadmill so you can get a feel for how the shoes perform at different speeds.After narrowing it down to two pairs, the employee used the stores 3D foot scanner to analyze my feet and determine my exact sizing and fit needs. Thanks to the data from the scan, he helped me choose the optimal shoe for my foot type. I walked out feeling extremely confident in my purchase knowing the shoes were customized to my feet.The staffs passion and knowledge for running is unmatched. They take the time to listen to your needs and make thoughtful recommendations, rather than just pushing the trendiest shoes. I appreciated the thorough gait analysis and professional advice on things like socks, shoe care, and accessories to prevent injury.I cant thank Fleet Feet enough for their top-notch customer service and dedication to getting me in the perfect pair of running shoes. I had a wonderful experience at Fleet Feet this morning. I had scheduled an appointment and was greeted by Cathy. She was very friendly, answered many of my questions and overall provided great customer service. She had me walk back and forth on a mat to scan my feet to provide an optimum fit. I bought the first shoes I tried on. They felt already broken in and were extremely comfortable. They are the HOKA Gaviota 4 model. They are less than 12oz in weight and provide excellent stability. I highly recommend you stop by Fleet Feet. You will be very satisfied!

Hello, This store is something special where your feet is scanned in 360 degrees by using some foot scanner machine. Staff are so friendly, and they will help you to identify right balance shoes, which will solve some chronic pains in your knees, foot and legs. The sales associate that helped us was wonderful in nearly every way. He was so knowledgeable, and was able to answer every question I had intelligently & informatively. (That is saying a lot as I am a nurse and always ask several difficult questions that often stump people.)He was so patient and took his time to really listen and find the right shoes for both my boyfriends & my needs. He also took the time to explain how and why certain shoes would be best for us. It took both of us trying on several different shoes for us to find the right fit but he never rushed us or made us feel like we were taking too long. Friendly, super knowledgeable/helpful and all around great customer service. You can tell he’s been doing this job for a good amount of time so I was happy we got such an experienced sales person. His name is Jahadi from the Pleasanton store & he deserves recognition from management. I will be referring other friends & family to the store after my two great experiences with him! This is also to say the fleet feet model of foot & gait analysis is unmatched by any other shoe store. It’s so helpful & scientific to be fit in proper shoes this way. Also, because I’ve been here twice before I have data tracking how my feet have changed over the years. This is especially helpful after I had an injury & also because I work on my feet all day. I found out I’ve been wearing shoes that are a size too small now because my feet have changed. I also have data on how my arch’s have changed. I highly recommend everyone who has feet get fitted for shoes here at least once! The analysis & time spent with you are FREE! But hopefully you buy the perfect shoes there & see how worth it is! I was here on April 3rd with an appointment to scan my feet. They make you walk and read your walking style, where you put pressure on while walking and also they check the hinges high or low and depending on that they will suggest what size shoe is suitable for you. The first time I was there I had one shoe to try based on my scanning report and I didnt take another chance and bought the shoe. Its good they create an account in their system for you and email your scanning report to you as well. Theres a 60 days timeframe to return the shoe if it doesnt fit well or you have any issues with it. After 3 weeks I figured something was not right, and I booked an appointment and went to return the shoe. I checked online before making that appointment. The person who helped me this time thoroughly looked at and suggested cushioning and brought different types of shoes for my size. After trying a couple of them, I found the one that fitted well and was comfortable in walking. I really appreciate the service and the patience they have with their customers. I will definitely recommend this place. Try to find the one thats closer to your location.

The Fleet Feet store was recommended by a friend whose son is a high school cross country runner. I was in need a good new shoes due I have foot problems related to diabetes. The shoe store in Livermore went out of business where I used to buy my good shoes for walking and doing volunteer work usually 6 hrs on pavement. Great experience and staff is excellent and knowledgeable about feet and shoes. Also my Podiatrist recommended only good shoes for my feet. Elizabeth took at least an HOUR to take me through the scanning of my feet (the technology is amazing - and free) and talk with me about my injury history, goals, etc. to get me into the perfect pair of shoes for me. If you want individualized service, this is the shoe store to go to. I recommend making an appointment online before going to the store, because even with an appointment, I waited approximately 20 minutes on a weekday. Elliott, the associate who assisted me, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Your arch and the way you walk are evaluated electronically. The associate then recommends the correct shoe for your foot type. The shoes are not cheap dollarwise, but if you want a shoe that fits well and is specifically tailored to your feet, the cost, in my opinion, is worth it.

I am so sorry it took me this long to find this store to purchase shoes. I went in wanting a comfortable pair of shoes and left with a pair of Diadora Mythos 6 shoes that feel like Im walking on clouds and marshmallows. Tony helped me look for a pair of trainers - zero sales pressure. From the bottoms of my worn-out pair of Eccos, I thought I supinated, but after a test on their 3D imaging device and a walk test, Tony determined that I actually pronate a bit.He took out three pairs: ASICS, Saucony, and Brooks. Saucony and ASICS are two of my favorite running brands, but these Brooks Adrenaline GTS 18s were amazing! The support instantly made me feel quicker and the chronic pain in my left knee and right hip went away.Then he suggested that I try some Superfeet orthotics - even though it felt a little odd at first - like walking on eggs under my arches, there was no question that I was walking more upright. I left with a pair of Brooks and the Superfeet - it wasnt cheap, but prices are surprisingly fair when I checked later online.This is a top notch local running shop - highly recommended.

Great to have our feet measured and analyzed, to understand why were having problems and find solutions. The salespeople are knowledgable and helpful. The selection is good and the opportunity to find and order double-wide shoes was just what we needed. The return policy (60 day, even after outdoor wear) is superb. If youre unable to make a weekday reservation, the wait on reservation-less weekends may surprise you, but the service is worth that wait.

The young lady that helped me was very knowledgeable. This whole time I thought my shoe size was 10 1/2 but after sizing my foot on their really cool high tech 3D scanner I found out that I should be wearing an 11 or 11 1/2 and the arch on my right foot is higher then my left foot. I was recommended some Brooks Ghost 15 which weren’t even on my radar but so far they are working out for me and my narrow feet. The employee took her time with me and my experience didn’t feel rushed.

They didnt have the specific shoes I was looking for, but she was able to talk me through the alternatives that they did have, explaining all of the motion control / stability details that are important to a flat-footed, large, over-pronator like me. As a shoe shopper, I’m no picnic. I’m flat-footed. I also have a disability and the meds I’ve taken to manage this have caused me to develop issues with my heart and lungs. On top of that, I’ve developed kidney issues over the years. Not wanting to give up my only means of exercise during the pandemic, I decided to book an appointment at Fleet Feet in Pleasanton. And friends, lemme tell you: this was a very good idea. As another reviewer mentioned, they do wipe everything down and give you their undivided attention. I believe my sales associate’s name was Nicole, and she was awesome. After offering a fresh pair of socks, scanning my feet, and observing my gait, she came out with 3 solid shoe recommendations and inserts to try on. Yes, I did purchase a new pair, and I’ve been wearing them in and out of the house (and I don’t wear shoes in the house, it’s just that my feet have needed a lot more support lately). I have been buying slippers for arthritis from fleet feet for last 4 years and before it used to last up to an year but lately the quality has deteriorated so much that it doesn’t even last for 3 months and starts tearing up from everywhere:( Very disappointed as now it costs so much and has so little durability:(

Vincent is very nice and patiently explained which products are better fit for my feet. I recently had pain in the bottom of the feet. This pain technical term called planter facilities.He spent almost 45 minutes with me evaluating right foot size and shoes. He provided me complete Fit Id report. He provided 3 different types of shoes and OOFOS flipflops. I liked NB 880V7 compared Brooks and Hoka. He suggested me to use OS1st FS6 Performance Foot Sleeve for Plantar Fasciitis Relief and balega socks. After wearing NB 880V7 along with FS6 foot sleeve I feel big relief. OOFOS flip flaps also very comfortable. Each penny you spent in this store is really worth!!Thank you are providing awesome customer service. Price is same as other major online and sports stores.

Great service! They took my feet measurements using advanced technology. Metrics example include but not limited to: feet width/length, arch, pronation/supination. Gave advice based on these measurements. Let me run around with two selections and didnt need to browse much further. Also sold me on the socks and shorts which I now use for rock climbing as well.
