I came here to recycle an old laptop. Do not be fooled by the neighborhood. I was very impressed by the shop, which seems very well run. The owner helped me clear the memory from my old laptop to safely recycle it at no charge.

I stopped in this morning while I was on a morning walk with my friend.I just went in to look around and check it out, I drive by this place all the time and was curious.I was helped by the guy working in the morning, he showed me a couple laptops I was interested in, he was very honest, helpful, and knowledgeable and didn’t pressure me at all.He could have pushed me to the slightly higher priced laptop I was looking at, but he said the one I chose was slightly better. So I ended up purchasing a laptop at a great price that includes a 90 warranty.I was very impressed with the store, selection, prices, and service.This place is a hidden gem in downtown San Jose.If they had a location with a parking lot, I would have stopped in years ago. But I live near by, so it wasn’t a problem at all. I hope the business will be around for a long time. Such a great place.

First time into new spot on SClara St. Vsited this place over the weekend & charger did not function for the laptop I took into the store. Charlie was helpful. I returned on Monday to get a refund so that I could buy an original Dell charger instead of going back& forth w/issues. Kevin was kind & really wanted to look for another charger but I didnt want to be having issues. I needed closure to complete tasks online. Thanks for all your help guys.

First off, let me say just how satisfied I am with the service here. Everyone was incredibly nice, polite and very informative. I was immediately helped by Charlie and I was able to get approved for their 90 day payment plan which allowed me to walk out with MacBook. Theyre very flexible with the payment plan and if you get approved they explain everything to you. This place may be small, but dont underestimate them they have A BUNCH of great products.

I was greeted properly and graciously. The customer service is awesome. They took my laptop evaluating. It had a question and answer session. Came up with a temporary solution for me until they were able to get the part in to fix my laptop. They did an awesome job Turnaround time one day

DO NOT USE. Scheduled an appointment to replace a cooling fan on a PC. They called me a week later that it was finished. When I got there, they gave me the wrong power cord and insisted it was the correct one, and that there were no other power cords (which means they must have given mine to another customer, even though mine had a sticker that clearly said my name).Since the replacement, my computer has consistently had BSODs. I took it to another repair store and they told me the fan wasnt installed properly and some wires were still disconnected. I called FixLaptop for a refund but they refused, stating they arent responsible for damages they cause during repairs.In short, they dont know what theyre doing, unprofessional, and lazy. Find another repair store.

Highly recommended, if you need anything laptop or related, this is the place to go. I have shown up at Fix laptop several times looking for something impossible to find. Every time, I walk out with a solution. Prices are right, service is great. Support your local small business, you will be happy.
