I started seeing Dr. Lyu about 2 months ago to treat my kiphosis and scoliosis pain. Dr. Lyus unique, holistic approach has consisted of gentle chiropractic adjustment, targeted laser light therapy, breathing exercises, and even adjustments to my diet. As a result, I am not only feeling less pain, but I am noticing that I am standing straighter and have more energy. Thank you Dr. Lyu!

Id love to share this Chiro practice with you all, as Ive been seeing Dr. Lyu for the tenosynovitis of my wrist since early March this year, and his treatment has achieved great results, and now I have already got back to my tennis practices. Dr. Lyu is quite knowledgeable and uses diversed techniques throughout the consultation and the actual weekly treatment sessions.

Dr. Lyu is a rare breed. This man is the only doctor I have ever met that takes true satisfaction in curing a problem you have rather than just giving you ongoing treatment. I remember my first treatment, I was very skeptical because of the amount of pain I was in. After I left his office, the pain was instantaneously less, and now, three visits later, I am almost feeling like a different person. There have been so many things that have changed in my life like sleep, body comfort, breathing pattern, and even vision improvement. Every visit, he unlocks another part of my body and releases more tension. I feel myself returning back to the way I used to feel when I was younger and pain-free. After L5-S1 back surgery 2 years ago, I continued to experience low back and sciatic nerve pain. A close friend recommended Dr. Lyu. On my first visit he adjusted my pelvis which relieved years of posture pain and discomfort. In my following visits, my low back pain levels have lowered each week. I usually go to there for my shoulder pain. It’s really nice. From last Nov., my son was coughing. He ate several kinds of medicine, but it was not working. Dr. Lyu recommand laser theraphy. I highly recommend the Five Balance Center. I am very satisfied with the amazing miracle Dr.Youngsu Lyu has done with me.I was in a car accident a couple years ago and since then I started having neck, shoulder and body pain on a daily basis. I was seeing a chiropractor for 2 years to feel better but it never happened. I have been having serious back pain and shoulder pains ever since I had my two children. I tried various methods to resolve the issues but nothing seemed to really help. I was suffering from my chronic backpain for last several months that I couldn’t even sit. I consulted multiple physicians and finally met Dr Lyu through a referral. Dr Young was very thorough in his diagnosis and helped me understand the root cause of my backpain. Within couple visits of treatment, I could see amazing results. I have had lower back pain on an off for years. Dr Lyu has been the first Doctor I have seen that has been able to make a significant difference in the pain level after the first visit. Dr Lyu also uses a range of red light therapy as well as laser treatments. I suffered a pretty big gash to my shin. After two treatments with one of the laser treatment systems, the gash had started to heal significantly with minimal scaring how deep the gash was.

Seeing Dr. Lyu was one of the best decision I’ve made. I do Olympic weightlifting and through out training. I’ve been having hip pain, back tightness and pain. I have been to many chiropractors for over 20 years to deal with my neck, shoulder, sciatica and lower back. Dr Lyu, is the most unique and effective in terms of understanding and treating the root problems.He is patient to listen and clear in explaining the cause of the problems.His treatment is not rack and crack which is what 99% chiropractors do. His unique combination of traditional Chinese and modern approach with micro adjustments works wonders with minimal damage to my tendons, bones and muscles. Using light therapy also aids in the inflammation and healing process. My treatments actually last longer and feels better than the other chiropractors.For years, my left hip was rotated. No chiropractor ever fixed it. One session with Dr Lyu, hip put into place, pain and problem gone. Chronic problems dont have instant solutions and Dr. Lyu isnt your conventional crack and pop chiropractor. He patiently listens to your problems and takes time to explain and treat the root cause of the problems and is very responsive and considerate. Dr. Lyu is nothing short of a God-send. I cannot stress how important the decision to take a chance with his methods versus electing surgery. Because I am overweight, my sciatic nerve pain will not go away easy and surgery isnt an option. Ive been living with a herniated disc for over a year, and I really wanted surgery. My attempts with physical therapy, other chiropractors, and buying useless gimmicks online produced the same result: no alleviation of pain. Because I was defeated (as weight loss takes time), I took a chance at Five Balance and a chance Ill never regret. Dr. Lyus methods immediately started working wonders for me. After seeing 2 chiropractors my attorney referred me to for a neck and back injury I sustained from a car accident, I am thankful to have been finally referred to someone who really wanted to help me get better. Dr. Lyu was the only chiropractor who took the time to thoroughly assess me and to find out where my pain and headaches are coming from. Each visit, he would ask me how Im feeling and how my pain is. (The first 2 chiropractors I saw whose names I wont mention here have greeted me with, Go lie on the bed and take a nap while youre attached to this cool gadget which I didnt even know what it is for!) After I had an unfortunate bike accident three months ago, I’ve got back and neck pain and I’ve been fully recovered with his treatment. I had serious back pain and went to a different place for two years until someone recommended Dr. Lyu. Initially, I only hoped that his treatment would be helpful but had no real expectations; however, after my first treatment, I could already feel an improvement in my back. Even Dr. Lyu said that was atypical, but my back pain must’ve been severe to have improved after a single appointment.Since I am 50 years old, I wished for the treatment to be natural without too much pressure on my body. Considerate to the needs of his patients, Dr. Lyu makes it a comfortable experience for me so that I have no reason for concern. Once I convey my points of pain, he is able to find and fix my issues.Though the efficacy of a treatment can vary with the individual, I definitely recommend you try a visit with him! I too started with just a hope for some improvement but have experienced firsthand how my condition has been getting better through his support. I highly recommend this place and Dr Lyu.I got a lot of pain many places after giving birth, back/shoulder/pelvic/neck etc. After a few visits, I dont feel any right now. I feel so lucky to find Dr Lyu. Right now I still go to Dr Lyu for my engineer neck issues, the treatment is very effective.Based my experience, I also took my mom to Dr Lyu. She got her leg injured while standing up quickly, after a single treatment she doesnt feel anything any more. I fell down a few months ago. I went to Kaser to take an X-ray. They said that I have a fracture on my right humerus bone and recommend a surgery. I really didnt do a surgery. I have been gotten chiropractic treatments because of TMJ disorder. It becomes significantly improved after getting treatments here.In addition, I also got a headache treatment and it was very effective. In detail, I had been suffered from a severe headache for weeks and I told Dr. Lyu about my symptoms. He prescribed me a new treatment, called Brain PBM. Even though I felt a little bit dizziness during & after the treatment, my headache became much better after 1 hr. After 1 day, my headache was all gone.

The reason I went to see a Chiropractor in the first place is due to what feels like SI joint or Saitic nerve lower back pain. Im severely overweight and everytime I go see a doctor, a Western doctor, its always the same song and dance, You need to loose weight. Really.... Captain Obvious! Irritating. Dr. Lyu is a very professional and kind chiropractor! My boyfriend and I got in a car accident at the beginning of summer and he has helped us with our injuries and taught us a few knowledgeable things along the way. Ive been suffering from an onset of tinnitus for couple of months and one of my friends has recommended Dr. Ryu to me. I suffered from plantar fasciitis for more than a year to where I was unable to walk barefoot without pain. I have seen several osteopathic doctors. Most of them put the patient on hot compresses, electrotherapy, and other medical auxiliary equipment. In the last few minutes, the doctor came over, turned the bones twice, and ended the treatment. But Dr. Lu is not like that. He carefully adjusts every bone and uses a very advanced cold laser to specifically treat the injured fascia. The time he spends with each patient is several times that of other doctors.I have also met several doctors who asked for a consultation fee of 250 yuan from the beginning. Then ask to pay the 20 visit fees in one lump sum. Dr. Lu said, I am a doctor, not a salesman. Dont worry about the cost. Lets do the treatment.Dr. Lu is a rare good doctor. My first and second cervical vertebrae were misaligned due to an accident, and my fascia and ligaments were strained, which further caused almost every cervical vertebrae to become habitually displaced. During each treatment, Dr. Lu always patiently corrects each section to the correct position. However, it often takes hundreds of days to break the muscles and bones, because the fascia and ligaments need time to repair, and each time the cervical vertebrae are greatly displaced. At that time, I had no choice but to text the doctor and arrange for me to see him that day. He always comforts me, Its okay. Ive treated patients who are more serious than you. Dont worry, you will get better. He truly cares about his patients.With severe symptoms like mine, I stay with the patient for almost the entire forty minutes of every treatment. Fortunately for me, since the treatment, the first period has been almost fixed, and the deviation in the second period has also been greatly reduced. My C1 C2 cervical vertebrae are misaligned due to accident or false treatment, ligaments are loose and torn, causing multiple cervical vertebrates habitual dislocation, and happened repeatedly. During the treatment, Dr Lyu always patiently fix each one of my vertebrates back to the right place. Torn neck ligaments in C1 C2 area takes more than months to heal, when the disk dislocation or crashed happened again due to weak ligament support, I text Dr. for help, and he let me see him in the same day.
