Simply “The Best”! The care and attention I received from the front desk staff (Lauren and Paige) and my therapists Brenda and Ingo, as well as the rest of the Fit For Life staff was amazing. Twelve days after receiving a total right knee replacement, I walked in the FFL front door using a walker. Twelve therapy sessions later my surgical knee is better than my “good left knee”! I highly recommend Fit For Life.

My experience is; I have had 2 knee replacements, Broken back, rotation cuff tear and hand surgery. I used Fit for Life with my last knee replacement and they are the best I have ever used. And I drove a 45 minutes in one direction to get to them. Well worth the drive. There are real great, amazing- know there stuff. Well managed and great PT staff. Have referred people to them. And wouldn’t do that if they where not great. Im back to a youthful knee with very little pain. Doing 5 miles walks, up and down stairs, some hiking, washing floor on knees, good bend, at 72 and back.to the old me. Let do it. Thank you Fit for Life.

If you’re in need of physical therapy this place rocks! Have had two injuries that have needed PT and they are the best. Starting with my surgery of a knee meniscus clean out then a total knee replacement. They were very helpful and listened to my needs. They are now like family and I actually miss not having to go to therapy.

Fit for Life is the BEST! They rehabbed me through a right reverse shoulder replacement and a left reverse shoulder replacement. Every staff member is compassionate, knowledgeable about their job and very professional. Both my Ortho and PCP advised me I might not regain my full range of motion, but the folks at Fit for Life have done their job well and with a little more work on my part at home I will have great range of motion. Fit for Life is the bomb! From the front desk of Lauren and Paige, PTs Brenda and Jen to the Owner Ingo, all provided the best care and healing! This was my second surgery to repair my torn meniscus and with their magic I am functioning at almost 100% in just three months! Come here and dont go anywhere else!

I visited Fit for Life Physical Therapy for rehab of my shoulder following rotator cuff repair. I thoroughly enjoyed my therapy sessions. The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean and welcoming. They have multiple therapists and theyre really great at what they do. Its rare to find a business that makes you feel as valued as this place made me feel. Im almost sorry that my shoulder is better because I miss visiting them. I wish I could give more than five stars!

I had the most healing and amazing experience at Fit for Life. I was greeted by a very friendly and caring front office which felt very comforting. The physical therapist I saw, Ingo Zirpins was a pure delight. He is very easy going energetically all the while is a wealth of knowledge on the human body. He explained everything in great detail to me with the problem I was having. My neck pain had been going on for over a year, I had seen a chiropractor and had went to a different physical therapy office previously with no lasting or good results. I am pain free, I have full range of motion and feel so grateful with my experience at Fit for Life! Ingo also enlightened me on my core being weak (creating poor posture) since then I have started a regular exercise routine and I feel the strongest I have honestly felt in my whole life. I can say my life has changed for the better since being a patient at this lovely and healing office. They are doing the good work, true healers.

If you want to be treated by a dedicated group of delightfully friendly, concerned, and skilled individuals who make you feel like family, go to Fit for Life (FFL). Ive been to numerous physical therapy practices over the years, but none compare to the outstanding care I received at FFL. From the first day, when I could barely walk in after my knee replacement, to the last when I pranced out the door, my experience could not have been more positive. Staff not only made the therapy fun, but they were always attentive, they constantly assessed and reassessed, they took time to listen and address concerns, and they planned care based on jointly agreed upon interventions. I’m sad my physical therapy ended because I loved the time I spent there...and I’m quite sure you would, too.

Fit For Life is the best Physical Therapy place to go for any of your PT needs. They are very professional and treat you with the most respect. They value how you feel and make sure you are receiving the best results from your therapy. Their office is extremely comfortable with a large open area with the best equipment & private rooms if necessary. The therapists are fantastic in every way and so knowledgeable. When I first started physical therapy at Fit for Life, I was on crutches/walker due to a horrible car accident that left me with multiple broken bones which required orthopedic surgery. I worked with Ingo mostly, with a few appointments with Jenn and Makenzi. They are all wonderful. The aids are also super helpful and caring. When I first started physical therapy, I was worried that I will never be back to normal or be able to walk without assistive devices. By the time I completed my 6 weeks, I was able to walk without a cane comfortably, although I still use it for balance. I still have a little ways to go to fine-tune my walk and build strength, but Ingo and his team got me back on my feet again after I was off them for 16 weeks. With the progress that I made in 6 weeks with Fit for Life, I have faith that I will be able to run and jump again one day! I will forever be grateful for Fit for Life for giving me my life back. ❤️

Highly recommend 3 outstanding therapists at Fit for Life: Mags, Ingo, and Jennifer, who worked on my SI joint, and vertigo. All listen well, addressed my concerns, are knowledgeable, gave thorough explanations, created clear daily exercise plans, started where I was, built strength step by step tailoring PT to my needs, and gave me maintenance exercises for my specific daily activities. They are encouraging and kind. Excellent facility/equipment. Rigorous adherence to Covid precautions was comforting. Highly recommend!

I just graduated today from Fit for Life PT. I had shoulder surgery mid-Feb of this year and have been going mostly 2/wk and the 1/wk for the past month or so. Makenzi and Jen were the two therapists I saw and they were both fantastic. Very caring and most importantly knowledgeable and patient. Very personable and fun, as well. I would also like to give a shout out to the terrific front office staff led by Sara, who greets you and painstakingly makes sure you follow the COVID protocol and wipes down everything after anyone touches a piece of equipment. It kind of felt a bit like the last day at camp (a little sad) to leave today, but happy for the reason (Im well on my way to complete recovery.) Thank you Fit for Life! With your help, I will be!

I have been to Fit for Life several times. When I first got referred to them, I met with Margaret (Mags) Mathews for Pelvic Floor Therapy. She was so knowledgeable and I learned so much. I have also met with Ingo Zirpins for a foot injury, TMJ and my back and posture. Each time I have learned what exercises to do, how to do them, why they work, and have had much success. No question that I asked was deemed silly. I highly recommend Fit for Life. I think they are incredible physical therapists and the entire office is wonderful.

Fit for Life Physical Therapy has the very best PT & office staff anywhere! They are highly knowledgeable in their field and they genuinely care about their patients. They explain what you need to do and why. Their work is done with Love in their hearts and humor in their hip pocket, which pops out a lot, putting a smile on your face.I have had Ingo Zirpins (the owner) and Narayan Jorgensen work with me, improving my knee pain and expanding my knowledge of self healing of the human body so I can continue being fit for the rest of my life. I have been to many different physical therapists in the area over the years and I love the Fit for Life team. I have worked with 3 different therapists and am impressed by each.They work really hard to get you in as prescribed and I am always feeling accomplished when I walk out.I highly recommend them!

Excellent facility and staff. They took in depth medical history and reviewed my radiographs and MRI with me. My doc referred me to Fit for Life and urged me to get Ingo (the owner) for my rehab. She said he was the best shoulder guy there is! He did not disappoint

I went for PT for two different injuries. My back is hugely improved, and my knee rehabbed quickly. Its not just the therapies that make FFL stand out--its the education as they rehab you. Do your homework and believe in the process! Im thrilled that I am again doing the things I want to do.

This place is the best in town by far. A very healing environment, a very healing vibe. Allow all anxieties about your physical problem start to ease when you walk into fit for life. I experienced three different PTers and all were superb. I had shoulder pain for 30 years, many cortisone shots, surgery never helped. Why take so long? I dunno! Anyway, close to pain free and now trained to do exercises at home. I would do them at home if I had a personal motivator! Such is life!

I feel so for fortunate to have been treated by physical therapist and owner, Ingo Zirpins. I am a 72 year old woman who was referred to PT because of a back injury. Ingo used his expertise and TLC to make me whole again. He gave me many tools to deal with my back pain including exercises to perform daily. He also shared with me a book by Robin McKenzie to teach me the mechanics of the back and good back hygiene.The new facility at Catherine Lane is sparkling clean, cheerful and calming. The staff and other therapists were friendly and welcoming.

The first time I walked into Fit for Life I was very apprehensive regarding P/T for my shoulder which I had already thought I would need surgery and that this was just a waste of time. Well boy was I wrong.....Cory my P/Therapist was very patient with my attitude and explained a few things that I needed to know. Since then we have worked very hard and I will not need surgery on my Shoulder....she also has given me a routine to do at home to continue healing therapy. I had had another P/T who helped me with getting my Plantar Fasciitis about 50% healed. So my thoughts are that I would like to have Cory work on getting my foot 100% healed....We are currently working very hard to heal the heel....And they have the best receptionists...Kim and Casey....They are always cheerful....I would recommend Fit for Life Nevada City to any and everyone needing help.

Grass Valley and Nevada City are so lucky to have Mags, a stellar physical therapy pro I’ve trusted for more than a decade to advise me on taking care of my body. I have issues with back pain, neck pain, knee pain, and the occasional sprained ankle, and I always turn to Mags for expert care and guidance. She has a prevention-oriented approach, a kind and gentle nature, and an impressive breadth of knowledge from a wide range of disciplines, including massage and Pilates. I have also worked with Mags on fertility and women’s health issues as well as digestion. She’s the kind of health care provider you can really talk to and trust. I highly recommend her!

I have done pilates with Margaret for over a decade. She is very detail oriented and articulate. She genuinely cares for all her students/patients and has taught me a lot about body alignment over the years. She always asks what areas of the body we want to work on beforehand and mine are usually for neck pain, shoulder pain or hand pain from all the sitting and computer work. She also does an amazing arm massage to release the tension from office symptoms; Im dreaming about it as I write!

Ive had five or six sessions with Ingo and Jenn. It has worked wonders. When my doctor referred me due to some pain in my side that had lasted for nearly six months, I did not expect that PT would do anything. On the first session, Ingo was able to pinpoint exactly where it was, what was causing it, and what I needed to do to improve the problem. Within a week, the pain that had been bothering me for six months was completely gone. He was also very friendly, and asked how everything else was doing. I happened to also have an ankle issue Ive been ignoring for five years. He asked about it, and we begun treating it. Its better than it has been in months. Highly recommend this group. Also, every time I walk in the front door from the first visit, theyve said hello to me by name. Very friendly.

I was directed by my podiatrist to Fit for Life to deal with Metatarsalgia in my right foot. My foot pain went from a level 8 down to almost zero thanks to Jen, CJ, Paige, Ingo and others who I hope will forgive me for not remembering their names. These people know what they are doing and make going there such a positive experience. Due to the pandemic my only regret is that masks covered the faces of the professionals that helped me which I would have liked to see. Thank you for your service.

My wife and I both highly recommend Ingo Zirpins for physical therapy treatment of back problems. He is very knowledgeable and effective. My wife had experience with other physical therapists for her back issues, but only after seeing Ingo did the issue finally get resolved. Later, when my back issues arose, she recommended that I see him, and I also received expert treatment from Ingo. Very happy with our results.
