Just finished the Rescue Dive class out at Beals Point in Folsom Lake. Great class, great instructor (s). I truly feel much more confident if I am ever called upon to offer help to a fellow diver. I should have taken this class YEARS ago. Thank you very much Fisheye Scuba.

Jesse and Mike are great instructors who can take you from being an apprehensive dive student into becomming an open water diver. Youll find them easy going and easy to work with and super understanding and helpful. These guys WANT you to be a certified diver and to enjoy the sport that they clearly enjoy.Carly and Curt are masters of their profession and have built not only a professional operation but just an amazing team as well.Five stars, six if possible.

Recently completed my open water certification training with Fisheye Scuba and I couldnt be happier with the experience. Class & PADI expectations were communicated clearly and was well organized.The staff took the time to help me find gear that suited my needs but also fit properly to ensure a safe and comfortable experience underwater. Having the proper fitting gear allow me to focus on the training and not worry about my gear.The PADI instructors and Master Divers at Fisheye Scuba were awesome. Safety was always their top priority. They took the time to thoroughly explain each skill, ensure everyone understood before moving forward, and closely monitored each students progress throughout the confined water and open water classes. Their professionalism created a supportive learning environment where I felt comfortable asking questions.I highly recommend Fisheye Scuba to anyone looking to explore the underwater world with confidence and peace of mind.

Curt and Carlys guidance on this trip (July/August 2022) made it go from great to amazing! Every step of the way, they were supportive – with kindness and a positive outlook that went beyond any expectations I might have had.The resort location (Mayan Princess), staff, accommodations, transportation, local dive center, guides/ captains, dive locations, group gatherings, photo sharing, excursion options, etc. The list seems endless and words seem inadequateIll end with my sincerest heartfelt thanks – and plan that I can join them on another amazing trip in the future

Got my certification for Open Water diving here in 2015. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Don Sherwood was my instructor and he was great teacher. I had so much fun in Monterey getting certified, couldnt of have asked for a more beautiful location. I would definitely recommend getting certified and checking out life under the sea. Thanks FishEye staff!

They charged for their maintenance services, they charged again for a rush job, they delivered nothing. Blaming customers is not a good technique. Plan your dive; Dive your plan. Again blaming customers is not a good plan. Good luck! I wasnt aware that Cardi B was onsite to ensure proper operation and customer service, but shes quick to yell at you..... hahaha

As someone who has gone from an Open Water diver to now, an Instructor (all through Fisheye), I must say that Fisheye Scuba is THE BEST shop in the NorCal region.The caring nature of shop staff and its owner are what set this apart. Carly and Curtis take the time to ensure that customers are not just customers, they are friends. Their teaching methodology is one which prepares the diver fully in a rigorous manner. Divers who go through any of the class certifications are well versed in proper, safe and nature friendly techniques.If you dont succeed at first, you are encouraged to continue trying until you do. You can see the passion for diving with both of them. I love being an Instructor for them!The shop is well stocked and offers some of the best quality gear in the area. Shop staff takes the time to ensure proper fitting of everything and that it fits the budget. There are always smiles there waiting to help and develop your passion for scuba.I cant say enough how satisfying my journey from open water diver to Instructor has been. The more you dive and visit them, the more you become family on a first name basis. I wont shop anywhere but Fisheye for this reason, and neither should you.

First time customer renting a bc and reg setup. When I got to dive location, the secondary regulator leaked and free flowed creating a constant leak ending the days plans. After calling the store, the only option provided was to return to the store, which I was unable as I was over an hour away and the store closed in 20 minutes. The technician was “out of the country”, so no advice was provided to help solve the issue over the phone. The store only wanted to refund me for the rental of the regulator; however, if you don’t have a regulator to use, you also can’t use the BCD. Duh!! I was still charged for the tank rental as I luckily was able to find a different setup elsewhere that worked in the three days the store was closed over the holiday. In terms of customer service as to how inconvenient this issue is was, I’d expect an entire refund. Very unimpressed by the attitude of the store employee and his lack of desire to help fix this issue or lack of empathy towards the broken gear. Will never rent from this store again.
