Dr. Gorges is a wonderful doctor, knowledgeable, good communicator, caring, and thorough. Today was my first visit to see Dr. Gorges since my primary doctor retired this summer. I was kind of nervous about what my new doctor would be like. Dr. Gorges was Awesome! He is so kind and personable. He took his time talking with me about any concerns that I might have. I felt so comfortable with him and glad that he is now my primary Doctor. I experienced a horrible health experience. Dr. Gorges was so helpful and knowledgeable and compassionate and cared about my health as well as my well-being. He is a wonderful Doctors and is always available. His office staff is wonderful. To me that is very important for a patient. Going through a Health experience, having a doctor like him is the best thing. His patience with me has made recovering and moving on so much easier.

Incredibly patient-centered ON TIME doctor! He takes his time and remembers previous visits, even complimenting us. He is the PERFECT example we wish every physician would emulate! I did not know a doctor so patient-focused, complementary and genuinely caring still existed!! He treats you like you would want to be treated. He didnt order a prescription just to send you on your way. Wow! 5 stars are not enough!

He is such a blessing to those that he comes in contact with whether the patients realize it or not.He has outstanding bedside manners. He is attentive, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Best doctor ever! Dr. Georges’ is professional, thorough, and still gives you that down to earth feeling by asking how the family is and actually knowing who they are. Every time I go in with a list of questions, I leave with the answers and today was no different. I feel confident in his care and I get the genuine feeling that he cares about my health. I just recently switched insurances to Sharp from Kaiser. Today I established care with Dr. Gorges. I am very thankful that I now have him as my primary doctor. He listened to every concern I had and immediately wanted to take action on helping me. He was very thorough when explaining the medicine he was prescribing me. The thing that I appreciated the most with Dr. Gorges and Sharp is that they genuinely care and don’t make you feel rushed. Unfortunately Kaiser made me feel like I was just a number and not a patient. The care is night and day. I am really looking forward to continuing coverage with Sharp for myself and my family.

For many years I was blessed with a great Doctor at Kaiser Los Angeles, Dr. Marc Lariviere, until he retired from practice. After 20 years of keeping me alive he certainly deserved retirement. I came to call him my friend. For a couple years I tried to find a similar physician in San Diego, to no success. None even came close. In December 2020 I changed providers to Sharp and was placed on the caseload for Dr. Gorges. Ive seen him 3x and each visit is the same: compassionate, knowledgeable care combined with a warm and friendly demeanor. Not only do I have a strong feeling that this is the learned professional who will continue with me my journey to good health, but I know truly that I can trust Dr. Gorges. If more Doctors were like Dr. Gorges then the medical profession overall would be held in higher regard.

Check-in was quick and easy on the kiosk (once I lined up the qr code correctly). Staff was friendly and efficient- the doctor amazing! He never appeared in a rush, did a thorough review of blood work ordered prior to the visit and all other tests and procedures. Update 2023: just left after annual check-up, same amazing experience although the kiosk couldnt read the barcode so check-in was at the front desk.

First let me start by saying that I’m a nurse (not for Sharp) so in saying that… I know Drs.As a patient I have had countless Drs immediately try and push a pill on me(always readily in their cabinet). Dr. Gorges is the first Dr. I felt like actually listened to me and cared about my concerns. This was all before he even knew I was a nurse so it wasn’t professional courtesy. Come to find out the Drs who kept pushing a pill on me were giving me medication for something I never even had…. A simple test instead of a pill actually figured out what was going on. I have recommended Dr. Gorges to everyone I know. I have a coworker who changed her entire family to him and thanks me all the time for referring him. Can’t say enough about the care I continue to receive. Also his MAs and nurses are awesome!!! Front girls aren’t so bad either.
