Love this spot for MTG and Lorcana. Amazing people and Amazing vibe. Local shop for a local player!! So amazing to have a mtg store nearby. They buy cards at extremely fair prices, give great store credit, and sell at great rates. The coolest thing for me is that I can make a card list on tcgplayer, place the order, and pick up my cards within a couple hours. I have had some on the whim deck ideas and they fulfill my orders quick enough for that nights game. The employees are so great, I have stayed long past my transaction to talk magic and life and anything.

This place is a very special kind of awesome. Great knowledgeable staff. Great product selection. Passionate about the games. Lots of space to play and lots of events. Huge singles inventory.I cant think of a LGS that Ive been to that is better. If you are in the area you owe it to yourself to check them out.I cannot say enough about Finch and Sparrow Games. Amazing inventory, and a large warehouse of singles + product located only 15 minutes away from the store location for them to collect. Staff are helpful and interactive with the customers, alotting for questions and assistance at any time. They also have a kiosk for placing orders which allows for you to build and buy conveniently at any time.

Well versed in many card games, the staff are sharp, witty, helpful, and resourceful. The Wednesday MtG draft nearly always fires with a great group of people who are ingested in helping.Though I dont know much about Lorcana there is a crowd that varies in age playing nearly every Wednesday!You could not find a better store to cards games!

Fantastic shop with the best selection of both regular and high end singles! Staff is super friendly and happy to chat about magic and helping new players find what they need. There’s also plenty of tables and rooms to get games in. I can’t recommend this shop enough.

Staff service is more or less friendly, not a fan of the new female employee, had a few conversations with her before about cards and came of as being an attitude problem. She didnt say anything rude but more like she had a bad attitude, like she didnt want to be there.

This store sold me a volcanic island that was labeled as a miscut I was informed by many people that it wasnt a miscut off centered!! worth less than normal volcanic island in similar condition!! the store said it was my responsibility to check photos and not theirs even though the card was literally labeled as a miscut!!! when I asked them to cancel they refused! when I ask them to do a return to sender they also refused! they told me if I send it back pay for shipping both ways theyd issue refund even though this complete their fault!!!

This is one of my favorite game stores. The staff is super chill. They have so much product and its cool how they have computers to look up what you want. The people who play here are generally friendly and welcoming. Overall this is just a great place to play MTG.

I live in Ohio and decided to sell my collection of magic cards. They gave me a soft offer when I sent in a csv and it was very reasonable. Once I accepted the sent me shipping labels for 11 boxes. While the shipping process didnt go perfectly smooth, Michael made every effort to make everything right. His communication throughout the process mitigated my worry about the shipping issues.I definitely recommend looking to them if you are in the market to sell and I will definitely stop in the store if I ever find myself in the area.

Good card store, buys sorta low sells high but has some rare cards. Always gets new product in regards to Magic The Gathering.There is a employee that is pretty unfriendly and can come off as just rude at times, not the end of the world and doesnt mean its a bad place but if they had been the first ones I spoke to I could see it being a turn off.

Very chill atmosphere, helpful staff, roomy.One of the most important things that puts Finch & Sparrow apart for me is that it’s a card shop that accepts card. Cannot say how many times I’ve walked away from a shop or booth because of a cash only policy. The tables are always clean, there is plenty of space (outside of tourney days, obviously) and the extra little room near the back is as adorable as it is functional. Also, another reason for high rating? Two unisex bathrooms. TWO.Overall have yet to have a bad experience here. Big Ups for the selection of snacks to buy on location as well.

I visited this store after just starting Magic about a month ago and they were so friendly and patient with all my questions. These kind people really care about not just games and having fun but the players as well. I was having a difficult time with an online purchase however FS was transparent and very helpful with information and when it seemed like I was SOL on the items I ordered they issued me a full refund. I couldnt believe it, I cant imagine a more customer friendly and caring business out there 10/10 definitely recommend these people!! I will be purchasing through them for any MTG stuff in the future!

6 minutes agoFinch and sparrow used to be an amazing reputable LGS. Loved selling my bulk rare collections here even though it was an hour and a half ride. I used to work for a reputable card store and I guess telling someone 65% also secretly means TCG low. Covid must have really done a number on ethical trading and selling. Im sorry you feel the need to belittle customers with ridiculous deals. Paying someone for their collection without asking if its a good deal is not business practice. Will never return to this place and hope they decide to return to the way they used to practice business.

My son begged me to take him to a card shop to buy and trade Pokémon cards when we were visiting LA so we found Finch and Sparrow. Great find!!! Mike went above and beyond helping my son find certain cards and trade in cards. Finch and Sparrow was the highlight of his trip. We will for sure be back next time were in town.

Ever since finding out about Finch and Sparrow, they have become my default locale to buy Pokémon cards. They have a great selection of new and semi older Pokémon products, and their prices for graded and unique cards are more than reasonable. Ive also come to them to sell my bulk and valuable cards and have received a great price on what I have traded in - both in cash and in store credit. They also sell MTG here, and I would say that it is their main product here as they host community events regularly. This is a definite go-to locale if you wanna support your local tabletop games business.

Staff felt it was my fault for not knowing information about their store (that I have never been to) that is not advertised anywhere on their social media. I understand that there is not much that can be done, but they were not sympathetic at all to the situation. When asked if important information like I was asking about would be posted online in the future, they told me no and that once again I should have known.

This shop is on of the best ones Ive been to in this area. The staff are very helpful, the play space is fairly large and open, and the competition is strong.They actually have a rewards system, which is not something I think many would expect. By patronizing the store, you can save up points for things like free random rares and snacks, all the way to free store merch. Buying prices are fair and tournament priIng good as well.As far as Ive ever known, their selection for the latest Standard sets is comprehensive, with all the best cards available from the newest sets. The selection of cards for eternal formats can be a bit hit-or-miss sometimes, but they do seem to always be trying to get new singles in for those formats also.I have seen playgroups meet up for all the more popular formats and I keep seeing the same faces, so I think the community here are strong. From a competitive aspect, I would say that my average opponent is very competent. If youre looking to grind and get better at the game, coming to their weeklies is definitely a way to do so.Overall, I really enjoy Finch and Sparrow. I hope my review has nudged you towards want to come in and check it out yourself. I dont get out this way much, but I find it hard to believe that theres a better shop in the area. F&S definitely sets the bar high.

I came into ownership of my fathers extensive MTG card collection after his passing. Ive played Magic some but I was really over my head on trying to figure out what it was worth or where I should even sell a collection this size (7,000+ cards).I came to Finch and Sparrow with a literal suitcase full of cards, and Chris and his team graciously went through them and happily talked about the value and history of the cards. After spending over an hour going through them, he gave me what I perceived to be a fair offer, however I still wanted a second opinion. Chris never pressured me and in encouraged me to give a second opinion.I ended up coming back to Finch and Sparrow to sell the cards because it was the best price, I felt Chris was being really fair in his offer, and lastly I can tell he was passionate about his business and doing what was right for me, who is a not a MTG player.If youre looking to sell magic cards I will highly encourage you to visit Finch and Sparrow Games.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY SEALED POKEMON PRODUCTS FROM THIS SHOP!! I got a Shiny Legends Special Collection Raichu box today for $130 and all the packs were tampered with. I had to go back and get my refund which they had no hesitation giving me because they knew they got caught. The store owner even said “it likes fine to me” which it is completely obvious that they are doing some shandy stuff in the back. It’s sad that they’ll probably re-seal it and stick right back on the shelf. STAY AWAKE YALL!!

I came to buy singles and play some casually edh. I did not realize they were having a big edh event the same day, but the staff juggled coordinating that and pulling my singles order really well. Everyone was friendly, ended up playing a edh game with randoms that was fun. Make sure to check the parking sign as you walk in. I wish mask enforcement was a little better.

Good place for Pokémon and Magic cards. DO NOT sell your bulk here, they offer to buy it for 1/3 of a penny per card no matter the rarity. Other places will give you at least 1.5-2 cents for common/uncommon, 4-5 cents reverse holo common/uncommon, 6-7 cents for rare cards, etc...My Response to Owner: Somehow I cant respond to your comment, but a few days ago I called in to ask if you guys buy bulks pokemon cards and the gentleman that I spoke to did indeed told me you guy do but at 1/3 of a penny per card. Maybe he has his own side business selling bulks and try to make profit by scamming customer. You may want to take a look at this situation. I am very glad you responded and glad to hear you buy them at 1.5 cents per card. Thanks!

Warehouse space converted to a gaming store. Good assortment of Magic: The Gathering merchandise. A few other board games. Lots of gaming space. Theres a few games on a demo shelf including Super Munchkin and Risk that you can grab and play. The proprietors are quite friendly, as are the customers. While I was there, someone ordered a huge pizza and shared with everyone.
