After visiting a doctor nearby, I stopped by FedEx to return a package to Walmart. The service was quick, with only a 2-minute wait in line before being helped. Every time I have something to ship internationally, I visit this FedEx location in Encino because Alvin goes above and beyond. He’s so personable and helpful, a breath of fresh air. International shipping can be complicated, and as an assistant for a living, I’m always running around like crazy. Alvin calmly and efficiently handles all the details, which provides invaluable peace of mind. They are truly lucky to have him.

Only reason for the 5 star review is to counter a “complaint” that may come from a guy who had a beach purse @ 2:45am. He doesn’t like what he’s hearing wanted to talk poorly of the lady who is just doing her job. Old man just grumpy.

Hey! Just wanted to take the time out to say, Thank You to Alvin and the colleague that was helping me today at this Encino office. These guys were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and gave honest helpful solutions for my shipping needs. Ive visited this location before and i have always been impressed with the high level of customer service.Alvin is relatable, professional and efficient !I’ll continue to come here even though office depot is closer to me.

I absolutely hate this location. I avoid it at all costs. Machines are ALWAYS broken, the employees are unhelpful and rude. This location is trash. I would rather drive to Granada Hills

Seriously great customer service here! Michael is extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. This is his second time helping me, and he is absolutely wonderful!!! This is now my go-to fedex for printing/shipping. I love this place :)

Do NOT go to this branch for passport renewal.They will make you wait on the side until they take care of the customer’s line. And if you delay with the process, you will wait more.They will not not check your application for accuracy, there is no proper training of the Employees. This was my experience. I applied for the expedited renewal. The employee did not double check my application. Some information was missing, and i had to resubmit it again. They don’t have any clue how to check, and accurately process the application which costs double, therefore needs to address special attention to a customer. Please stay away.

Had a complex last minute issue that Kevin at the Encino store addressed in a mindful and prompt manner. I had a size issue on a poster, called for advice, which Kevin reviewed and gave feedback on it, we spoke and he gave me shipping options to send it out then confirmed before the cutoff. Great service all around.

On Friday I emailed a very small order. The order was six laminated pages. I received a confirmation email that all is good. After 24 hours, I went by to pick up the order. One lady was behind the counter and one gentleman on the shipping side. I had to wait quite a bit for her to acknowledge me. Then she couldn’t find the order. After 20 minutes the email was found on a different computer. But according to her the download is taking a long time. I suggest we raise money for FedEx to get a quicker computer. While we are at it, we might as well get a wet sponge so the staff wouldn’t have to lick their fingers while flipping through pages.

Had to print 37 pages black and white double sided. Charged me $38 (because they charge by “impression” not by page) and added a $2.50 surcharge for good measure. Didn’t tell me what the price would be before they printed. Never ever ever print anything at this place.

This location closes earlier than their posted time. When I arrived the gentleman yelled at me that they would close in 5 minutes when their posted time was 8 minutes from then. No greeting. Their machines are slow and jam as well. When I asked for assistance he said I wouldnt get through my documents in time for them to close. If youre open and you have customers in the store, you should serve them. I had 10 pages not 100. I wanna get home too. Wasted trip, never will spend money here again.

Wasting customer’s time and the worst part is they are not even sorry about that. Scanned a lot of documents on the self-service machines. I do normally check but didn’t do this time and left the store only to find out later that I have not received any of the documents. Called on 5/2/2021 (the next day) spoke with a girl who tells me you need to come back and do it again!!!! I’m impressed by the solution, like seriously???? She made it look that it’s my fault that their machines doesn’t work well. Never again going to to this place. No wonder your reviews are this bad. Will chargeback for this scam transaction.

Came last night to scan a job and 2 of their machines froze/shut down right when finishing losing everything I did. Employee was rushing me to leave so she could go home so I left the file with them to scan for me. Came today and stood there without anyone saying a single word to me for 15 minutes with no one in front of me. One guy was working and busy while another lady just walked around, doing seemingly random things but wouldnt so much as address me. Obviously just left since no one wants to help there. Horrible customer service. Doesnt help that their machines break down when using them either.

Wouldnt release my package to me with proof of ID, asked me to call their corporate office for permission who denied it as well, then was told thats what I was warned of would happen if I called. When I informed the worker that his statement was inaccurate he denied my experience.If he knew that would happen... why did he give me the number to call in the first place?

The Manager Carol and Lara who work here are very unprofessional and rude. In addition long time to wait to get anything done. I saw few unhappy people here today. Carols the manager deserves to be fired. His customer service skills are zero.

These incompetent peasants working at this fedex location were having a meeting in the back office while a paying customer is waiting at the front. They make eye contact, and continue their meeting for another 5 minutes before coming out and claiming they told me they would be right out. If that was the case, this review wouldn’t be here. Next time you lie to a customers face, remember that the negative reviews hurt the franchisee not your basic minimum wage paychecks.

I had the misfortune to recently go to the van nuys fedex and couldnt believe the actually rotten customer service there. i ended up having to file complaints to fedex corporate, and when they heard how my order was handled and i was treated, even they were upset.i normally go to this fedex office on ventura blvd and my experience at the other one made me realize how important it was to write a review of THIS one, since i took for granted the wonderful and friendly service i always receive when i come here, almost weekly.fedex is a wonderful company, but apparently they have very bad management from what i experienced at their van nuys store at 5810 sepulveda. the companys concerned attitude about what i experienced, and the wonderful experience i have EVERY time i come to this ventura blvd. store, makes me appreciate fedex as a whole, and realize i need to let people know when something is good. these guys are good!

BE VERY CAUTIOUS. SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS PLACE. DO NOT GIVE ID for shipping or mailing. Weeks later after I’ve used their shipping service to send a package, I found unauthorized charges on my card from this location. Changed me four times to send one package on different dates. Whatever you do, BE VERY CAUTIOUS when dealing with this location.
