One of the best quesabirria tacos Ive ever had. The salsas were on point! The consome was super flavorful. Umami bomb! The gyro platter was tasty. The rice was nicely cooked, the meat was tender, and smoky. My daughter had the smash burgers. The patties were thicker than other smash burgers. Cherse had good flavor, and the fries were well seasoned and crispy. Definitely coming back to try more stuff!

Super large menu with a huge selection of Mediterranean and Mexican cuisines. You should study their menu before you get there because its humongous. I will return to try other things. Only complaint, some portions are small and too much rice to make up for the smaller portions.

Casual spot? More like a diamond in the rough. Emphasis on the diamond. This place did not disappoint. I’m not even sure how I found it, but I’m so glad I did. I had the birria grilled cheese and my fiancé had the quesa birria taco platter.We were thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The atmosphere was very interesting, but inviting.UPDATE: we flew back to LA a couple months later (now March 2024) and the very first stop on our list was Fatima’s Grill.This time, we were greeted by Liza, who is an absolute rockstar. She was running the entire front of house seamlessly and took great care of us while we dined in.I would say, if you’re a first timer, definitely take a moment to browse the menu because the options seem to be endless.I changed up and ordered the newest menu option: the smash burger. The burger was super tasty and the pickles, grilled onions, and queso they added to the sandwich was the perfect touch. My only suggestion would be to cook up/caramelize the grilled onions a bit more.My fiancé ordered the lettuce tacos with asada. They were such a pop of flavor, the chile releno, tomato, onions, and cilantro alongside the delicious grilled beef covered in the lettuce shells was such a good change up.We ordered the birria nachos to share and they were also very good (not a surprise considering our last visit). We’re so full but it was sooooo good. Once again, like the terminator, I’ll be back.

Got the Hot cheeto burger combo & the Philly sub combo, washed it down with a cold can if Dr pepper. The hot Cheeto Burger was pretty good, the meat was nice and soft and it was very cheesy with good flavors. The Philly Cheese sub was good too but the fries were super Bland (wish they added more salt). Their sauce that they make and sell in the bottle is really delicious (Dipped my fries in them). The staff was friendly and its a cute little place on the corner in the plaza with parking.

I am very surprised by the 4.5 stars, the LA food scene always surprises me. In a region of the country where good Mexican and Mexican -American food is everywhere, this just does not cut it for me. Although the service was nice, the inside of the restaurant was unique and I appreciate that its halal, the food just wasnt up to par. Being halal does not give you an excuse to not have good food. For $15 + tax, I got the hot cheetos carne asada burrito. It was 80% rice and cheetos with too much nacho cheese sauce and carne asada. The carne asada was good, but with all the extra stuff it was barely edible, it seems that the food is made for instagram photos rather than real consumption. A real socal burrito should have meat, pico, and maybe fries if it is a burrito california. This food is gimmicky, try it for the sake of trying it, but it didnt do it for me.

Great services! Welcomed us and helped with the menu as we were first timers. The atmosphere was clean with hand sanitizers at each table. It also a very fun and LA down decor, wall to wall! But most importantly the food was INCREDIBLE!!! I got the birria and shrimp tacos and it was the best birria I have had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I came across a video on instagram advertising Fatima’s grill, and after flying in from Texas I knew this had to be on the bucket list. Everything was amazing. The food and presentation were both top-tiered, but even better was the service. Ali, the owner, greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. He made sure we were taken care of and went absolutely above and beyond. The burrito and nachos his team made me were by far the best I’ve ever had. I ordered a surf n turf quesarito and their loaded nachos. If I ever come back to the city of Downey I will be sure to visit every time. Thank for everything.

Seen they were trending on tiktok so we came to check it out. We ordered and waited about 15 mins for our food. Atmosphere was super cool, love all of their decor and style. The food wasn’t bad, it was a bit too much for me.. lots and lots of different flavors. I forgot exactly what we ordered but I took pictures because I was really excited lol. We only ended up eating less than half of everything. I will go back and try something different.

My husband and I have been eyeballing Fatima’s for quite sometime!!!We were so excited to finally experience them in person and see if their food photos would match up to the flavors and reviews we had been seeing!We are glad to say THEY DO! I think the hardest part for us was narrowing down what we wanted to try on our trip, because there were sooooo many things we wanted, but had a feeling the serving sizes were going to be pretty big!We ended up getting the quesarito surf and turf with half of it dipped in hot Cheetos so we could compare. With as excessive as it looked we LOVED all the flavors that came through and it was impressive at how packed they are able to fill it while still being able to wrap it in a second tortilla!!! The fries inside were also perfectly flavored and cooked plus the plump shrimp, everything!!The QUESA birria tacos were loaded with lots of cheese for epic mouth cheese pulls plus the added chili relleno on top was bomb! Loved adding the fresh radish slices inside the taco and omg their lebamex sauce with it definitely took it up a notch on flavor and some added spice which we loved!!!The restaurant was small, but so cute with lots of fun signs, very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly!We are eager to go back and try more of their creations! Everyone eating their looked so happy and all the food we saw looked and smelled incredible! Next we have to try their crunch wraps, schwarmas and crazy fried chicken brisket burger! Honestly we know everything will be solid!Please do yourself a favor and check them out!! I had the barria tacos my kids had the barria crunch wrap and hot Cheetos burger!!! This is my favorite place to treat myself during the week. I go here with my partner every chance I get. The food is absolutely amazing. The options are endless and I try to get something new every time I go. The entire staff is outstanding. The owners are very welcoming and passionate. Liza is very sweet, kind, and a character. After having an amazing Wrestlemania weekend, what other way to end it than with some FASCINATING FOOD. Their system was down, so the owner took the down the order by pen and paper. The owner was an extremely chill, professional, down to earth person. Have been following their Instagram page for months and finally go to try their food. The food is no hype! I ordered the Carne Asada Hot Cheetoh Mac and Cheese Quesarrito. My wife ordered the Carne Asada Crunch Wrap with Nacho Cheese and Hot Cheetohs. The food was as good as it looked! We were not disappointed. I am ashamed that I was not able to finish the whole burrito before I got full🤣. That thing was huge! I did save it, though. Wife was not able to finish the wrap eighter. Again, AMAZING FOOD...The restaurant was clean, and all the workers were extremely nice. Like I said, the system was down, but they allowed me to pay them via cash app since I did not have cash. Before heading into The Stardust Club just down the street from here, decided to check this place out.The wifey followed them on IG and wanted us to try it.I got the Philly cheese steak fries & she got the Schwarma combo plate.Everything was so amazingly delicious, I couldnt believe how good my Philly cheese steak fries tasted. Everything was fresh and made to order.I got their aguas frescas in a bottle which I had before and just had to have it again here. The strawberry lemonade is so refreshing with great natural flavors.I didnt try the Schwarma however did taste the hummus and that was amazing too.I got a chance to speak to one of the cooks and was really friendly. The beef koufta with hibibi mix was good.The things that are bad, the chicken w hbibi mix wasnt good. Me and a buddy are trying to hit up a bunch of spots near us and this by far is on the top. The food was delicious and I got 2 meals out of it. I got the brisket mac fries and the shawarma mix burrito. The fries were crunchy and sweet from the coleslaw, the brisket was tender juicy and savory, the fries seasoned nicely and the mac and cheese on top was just perfect. The burrito was heavy and filled with everything you could want and mixed very well for the size.10/10 would recommend

I am on a mission to compare all gyro style wraps so we went to see how the food is compared against few other places. First the wrap: MEAT WAS HARD AND POOR QUALITY. I would not give even one star to that wrap. Sorry. I ordered a wrap and side of Falafel via kiosk, but there was no option to order drink on kiosk so I had to order the drink at the counter. They charged me $0.85 for ordering that cold drink (credit card charge) and my cold drink cost me like $4.85 REALLY? I always order side of falafels and usual med. place would give me at least 3-4 falafels. These guys literally just gave me one falafel and that too was frozen/fried and poor quality. Will never visit that place again and would not recommend anyone to go there.

What can we say about the hospitality and the welcome to the customers. We are out of town visitors and we came based on the instagram findings. Due to the month of Ramadan and the fact its halal, they are accepting orders even last minute which speak volumes. The place is small however they have seating outside that accommodate many more. It was packed when we got in and wait time was 30 min. We were willing to wait to see the food and taste it. We ordered the chicken birria tacos and the 3 meat hot chetos burrito. Please see the pictures as they match their photos on social media. It was very very delicious and we couldnt finish so they wrapped it for us as we have a plane to catch tomorrow morning. We are going to have the rest of it tomorrow. Thank you to the owner and his children for a wonderful experience.

Amazing. These guys are Lebanese but learned how to cook Mexican and Lebanese fusion. Saturday morning and I was looking for something delicious, it not crazy heavy. This is what good food looks like!!! The hot Cheetos burger comes with pieces of Cheetos, double patty, nacho cheese, lettuce, onions and their secret sauce which I requested to the side. The loaded fries is probably my favorite off their menu because of one thing: bell peppers. I think it’s genius to add bell peppers on fries. It really gives the taste of chicken fajitas or Mexican hot dog. I will def be coming back again! Shout out to the staff and store owner who made our experience special and comfortable! ❤️

There is no inside seating because of covid so they have a tent outside with tables(great idea!) But not kept clean, and 1 was broken. If you pick up the food and go eat at home, go for it!

I spent 60 dollars for 3 different plates, quesa birtia tacos, a beef and shrimp burrito and a crunch wrap. Cheetos tasted a bit stale. The rice had no flavor and it really was not as good as people say. It was the only place open in my area besides Jack in the box. The cashier was pleasant and very patient. I looked online for a new-to-me lunch place midway between Covina and Lakewood and found Fatimas. What a great choice! Middle Eastern (halal) and Mexican - and more. Ali, the owner, was the perfect host. He offered to answer any questions we might have, and brought our food to us with a smile. He came by to refill my sauce cup (a lot of places charge for it). We both had wraps selected from the extensive menu, and they were delicious. We got there at 11:30 when there was only one customer, but before long the tables were filled and people were coming in for take-out. Ill definitely be back.

Recently discovered this place on Instagram and I come down to Norwalk-Downey almost once a month to visit for several days. First I just want to say Im very fond of both Mexican and Lebanese food and know both well. I was excited to see the fusion of them both. I decided to try the Hot Cheeto asada burrito. I enjoyed it but it wasnt the best burrito Ive had. However I dont see the Lebanese and Mexican fusion at all in some of their dishes. Its mostly Mexican food with a few modifications on plates to make it Lebanese-Mexican fusion. I dont really think the two cuisines mix all that well in my personal opinion. ( Mexican food is spicy while Lebanese food has no hint of spice whatsoever in their dishes)With that being said, give this place a try as they have some cool ideas for plates and was certainly on my bucket list to try.

Between what we sampled at the restaurant and what we orderd to go, we sampled: double cheese burger, Philly cheese steak, big boy hotdog, nachos, mix shawarma wrap, zinger fries, zinger chicken wrap, tongue tacos, chicken nuggets, chicken quesadilla, and bacon fries. The goal was to order as many meals as possible to narrow the menu down for our next visit. The problem is that we liked everything that we orders and would definitely order again and there are many more meals to sample.

This place is a must try if you are around Downy area. I’ve tried the hot Cheetos bun burger with Mac and cheese was really good and also the shrimp and carne asada fries 🍟🔥🔥🔥. They have this burrito that is soo huge I forgot what it was but it was humongous. The only thing I didn’t like was there is always a big line because this place is pretty busy all the time, but other than that it’s really good food. It’s something different to give it a try!!!

I love this place.Had my eye on them for a while now and decided to finally stop by in this pandemic era to help out small business.They abide by all covid guidelines and honestly one of the coolest things to see was their welcoming sign to everyone on their door.I really like the vibe here they seem to be very well loved in the neighborhood because there was tons of people here when I stopped by and it seemed like the owner was friends with everyone.I must say follow their Instagram if your still iffy about trying this place and I promise you wont be able to resist for long.Really intriguing all the crazy stuff they come up with here but decided to go with a little something safe this time and tried the shawarma mix wrap and mann do they hit it out the ballpark.The flavors and spices mix so well in this wrap definitely worth the trip out.Cant wait to try their tacos and other unique foods they come up with.Ill definitely be back.

The food is really good, we try a different menu every time. Its a family-friendly restaurant, but its a bit small so you might have trouble finding a seat. The staff are friendly, but you may have to wait a bit for the service due to the high number of people coming in the evenings. One of the few halal and quality places in the neighborhood.

I drove from East L.A. in search of a hot cheetos asada burrito but once I looked at the menu I decided on the quesadilla with chx, asada, & shrimp. The price was a bit steep but it really is 2 meals in one. First off I hate bell peppers & this has plenty including grilled onions. Well let me tell you I HAPPILY ate 1/2 of that quesadilla no problem! Bell peppers & all😄 It was hot( as in temp) it was cheesy, & meats were tender especially the steak & shrimp. The rest of the quesadilla I had for dinner. I cant wait to return as there are many things Id love to try. Service is ok but keep in mind this is a family biz & they are hands on. Seating is limited & many people do take their orders to go however you arent pressured to leave I ordered my food to go knowing I wouldnt finish it & ate half there.

Food is not just Lebanese but Mexican too. We stopped in for a quick lunch, I had mixed platter, daughter had asada burrito and buddy had fish tacos. We shared an order of garlic and shrimp fries. Food was very delicious all the way around. We stayed in to start eating our carry out order as we were early for an appointment. We didnt order drinks as we all had something in the truck already. Downey location-Simply put, the food was not good. Ordered chicken crunch wraps and hated them. Chicken tasted weird, it was overpowered with beans and the cheese was not even melted. We took a few bites and tossed it. We asked if we can replace our orders with something else and the cashier said we can’t replace it, but we can go ahead and pay for a new order. Went ahead and ordered a zinger and chicken shawarma. Chicken shawarma had the same chicken as the crunch wrap and zinger was flavorless. Would not recommend.
