I do Uber all over the Bay and choose to travel to this one place for all the intermittent maintenance on my Honda Accord. The owner really knows his stuff. He found a gasket leak missed by other mechanics. Trustworthy person. Price was very fair and competitive. This is a one stop shop. Can do everything from air conditioner to transmission. Great customer service, very friendly. Can diagnose anything.

Went in for air conditioning issues. Before getting started, he explained to me what they were going to check for, possible issues & solutions. I was kept informed of everything. Broke down every step for me. When it came down to the repairs, he explained what was needed and why. Quick and thorough repairs. My AC even blows colder air than it did before the incident! Great customer service! Flexible to work around your schedule, which is a big plus. He even went out of his way to help and recommend simple solutions to other car issues that could be done at home. Very welcoming environment with good prices! Thank you!

Klent is awesome with his customer service! I was here for oil change but he does free service of checking air filter, cabin filter and clean up the corrosive on my engine. I just feel that my car will be good after giving it to him. Definitely coming back here every time I need any auto repair.

This place was so welcoming and nice!! I’ve been having a hard time trusting some mechanics but this mechanic has been the best welcoming and trustworthy. They check extra things and changed my signal light bulb for me and the oil change was so fast!!! Highly recommend.

I was not referred here or heard anything about this place other than the reviews that were previously left.This place was fantastic. I took my daughters 2000 RAV4 to Familia Automotive and thats exactly how they treated us, like family. The owner was great as well as the staff.. even though the problem was minor he thoroughly checked the car and sent a video via text as well text messages letting us know when it was ready along with a thorough phone call explaining everything he had found. It was well worth the time and money to visit familia automotive and it will be receiving our business moving forward along with any recommendations.

I came across this business when looking for an honest mechanic. Not only did Klent look at the issue I was having right away. He set up a pre trip inspection since I’m traveling out of town soon. They let me know of parts that should be replaced and I couldnt be more thankful!! I’m so HAPPY I found them. Highly recommend for any of your car needs.

The shop itself is so tidy and organized! Not to mention how professional Klent is… I honestly dont know anything about cars but Klent was so patient explaining to me what needs to be done with my car, Klent does not take advantage of people like me and charge only what needs to be charged! This is one of the best auto shop I’ve ever been to the waiting room and bathroom is so clean customer service is one of the best of these guys know exactly what they’re doing 100% I originally came to get my Catholic converters replace I had some small issues, and I still took care of it for me even with the conversion of my O2 sensor I’ve been looking for shop to get my car repair for some time and I found out he found the shop. Trust me you guys won’t regret. You name it they can do it even for modifications. prices are reasonable I can’t complain.

Familia Automotive is Hands Down the best auto shop in Stockton CA. Family owned and ran by Klent who is the owner. Not only is the auto service efficient but the quality of work is great and he has amazing customer service. He kept me updated through out the process and provided affordable prices. I called at last five other places and went to three to have my AC check and recharge and none of them could beat his prices or get me in today without an appointment but him. This business was definitely a ram in the bush find and Ill be referring all of my friends and family to him. Easily THE Best experience I’ve ever had! I always tend to get anxious going in for an oil change because autoshops are known to try and scam you to get services rendered that you don’t even need however Clint was very reassuring and was knowledgeable that he made me feel comfortable and at easy that was in the right hands. The process was smooth and my oil change was completed in an hour in such a reasonable and affordable price. Highly highly recommend. Definitely will be my go to for car services.

Familia Automotive is the go to place. Klent helped me with an engine swap and helped me pick the best engine we can find. Klent also saved me money by suggesting that I replace the clutch while everything was already apart. They kept me updated on my cars status daily and gave accurate pix and vids on what was going on. They also explain why and how something breaks down. Theyre very friendly and respectful. Ive been going here for years, I get cars towed from Grass Valley, CA. Just so I can have these guys work on it. They pay attention to detail and make sure the job is done right. They take pride in their work, the art that is preformed at Familia Automotive is quality.Oh and they have free coffee and water.

Brought multiple cars here and was satisfied each time. The most competitively priced shop for quality service that I have found. Most recently had the complete brake system replaced in my car. Pads and Rotors front and back. First, it was done for hundreds cheaper than quotes from other shops. Then after some abnormal wear on one set of pads, it was determined that one set of pads were defective. Then, the warranty kicked in and I had no out of pocket costs. Just had my wife’s 2019 RAV4 oil change done AC filter, an engine filter replaced less than 30 minutes everything was finish. He also checked every other component on the car. I had a problem with this vehicle for sometime when I come to a complete stop it has a weird jerk when you come to a complete stop and pick up speed He also check that out for me and we confirm a problem is there, so my appointment is already set up to get that taken care of this is the spot y’all won’t regret it

Ive been hunting for a good mechanic in Stockton for awhile. None of my friends or co-workers were able to recommend one to me. I went with google reviews and hit the jackpot! I was feeling some vibration while driving my 2007 Lexus and brought it into Familia automotive and the issue ended up being difficult to diagnose. Balanced tires? check, wheel bearings good? check. Turns out I needed a new driver side axle and he was able to accurately diagnose the issue. The owner Klent kept me informed throughout the process and his pricing was very affordable. You can tell he is a hard working and honest individual and he knows his cars! Now if any of my co-workers or friends ask me for a good honest mechanic. Ill be sending them to Familia Automotive.

Came across this shop online, thanks to Mayor Lincoln. My first time getting my service from this shop. And I have never experienced when an owner educates you about your vehicle depending on what your there for. But Clint was very professional, knowledgeable about his shop and takes really good care of his customers. And not only he fixes cars but also does all the paper work inside the office.Waiting Room is clean and hospitable. Plenty of space to sit, drink and use the restroom. Yes, well cleaned restroom.Staff was customer friendly. One guy went around to test my car and came back quick. It was not easy for my to trust anyone but they reassured you as always.Very accomodating and flexible with your schedule as long as you notify them. I would definitely return back and recommend this to other friends and family I know.

I called about a transmission and gave them the information they needed to find one and it’s been a week and a half and if they called me back to say they had one or couldn’t find one YOU DID. You know you haven’t called me so that tells me and you something. I needed my car fixed so I googled another garage and found Toole on Eldorado and got it diagnosed and fixed on I’m back on the road. Still haven’t heard from these people. Familia Automotive’s phone kept going to voicemail and mailbox was full so if they were too busy they could have told me, I can understand that but to go ghost is unacceptable. I’m glad they didn’t have my car. I don’t know if this is proper and I really don’t care but I recommend Toole Automotive. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. True Fact

I was given a lot of good advice and detailed information I needed to know about my car. The process was fast and with all the routine maintenance checks. I never leave reviews online but had to for this shop. A couple weeks ago I thought I needed an alternator replaced. Took my car in and they checked it out. Most other shops would have just replaced it anyways, but the owner Klent was honest and told me it was just the battery and sent me on my way. Ended up needing my rear brakes done a few weeks later. They got me in the next day when I got off work and took care of it quickly and the pricing was reasonable! Can’t recommend this place enough. Owner is super friendly and lets you know everything they will be doing. Will definitely be back!

I came here this morning because I was having a grinding like noise coming from under my vehicle. I explained to Klent and one of his crew members what was going on. They were able to squeeze me in and test drive my car even though he was already busy with vehicles from previous week and appointments from the day. And after test driving they were able to find my problem. He let me know what the problem was and my course of action to take. And after doing this for me, i was not charged a thing. Klent is the most honest mechanic i have met. I didnt know they existed. But he has changed my mind. This autoshop is awesome! Klent and his crew are the best! 10/10 would recommend! I had some issues with my car it left me stuck on the freeway and they not only figured out what was going on but they also helped us get our money back from the dealership that screwed up my engine with their crappie work! I just recently took both of my vehicles for service at Familia automotive . The customer service I received was outstanding. Klent and Steven went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with their work on my vehicles. They were able to diagnose my AC and now it’s working like new. They did a undercarriage cleaning to find any leaks my vehicles had. My mustang was overheating bad, and they replaced my coolant hose within a timely matter and charged me affordable prices for labor and parts. I noticed a water leak issue in my 2015 Honda Civic where both drivers side/passenger side carpets were soaked. I had an idea of the source but know nothing about cars so I decided to get it checked out. I was referred to Familia Automotive by a a good friend of mine. I called and spoke to Clint and was given an appointment the following morning. Location was kind of hidden but very clean space. I was immediately greeted by Clint, no wait time. He was able to do a couple quick checks to identify if it was a simple fix before charging a diagnostic fee which I greatly appreciated. Although I didn’t need service from the location, he was still very friendly and knowledgeable about what was going on. He was kind enough to guide me to a detailing shop and windshield repair location to help with my car issues. Fast, friendly, honest. Will definitely return for future services.

My car required a steam clean due to an unidentified oil leakage. I was able to quickly make an appointment & was provided with efficient & effective communication throughout the process. The mechanic was honest & reassured me by explaining in great detail the procedure & alternative scenarios. I had the best experience when my car broke down on my way home. A very nice guy stopped to make sure that I was okay and asked about the car. Come to find out hes the owner of Familia Automotive! Went in to have my brakes and rotors replaced, they gave me a complimentary inspection and a reasonable estimate (another shop quoted me almost $200 more). As a lady who knows little to nothing about cars, shops can be intimidating, and at their worst, exploitative of your lack of knowledge. I felt very comfortable in this shop, the owner was exceptionally friendly, informative, and fair. Familia Automotive is a great place to service your vehicle. I got my brakes and rotors replaced in less then 90 minutes same day appointment. I didn’t have to take my vehicle 50 minutes to the next city we’re I purchased. They were cost effective and the brakes feel better then before. Highly recommend their 5 star service. It was Memorial Day and my boyfriend was trying to change the oil on my car but couldnt get the oil drain plug out. Fortunately, Klents auto shop was open and he offered to help before he closed up shop. In less than an hour, Klent was able to pull out the stubborn plug and change the oil for me. I had my check engine light come on and turn off a few times, so he took a look into that as well, and he had no recommendations at this time. Affordable and friendly. I really like this shop! Klent is a good, honest businessman. I had a problem with my Four Runner, and I was almost certain it was the transmission. This is what I told Klent over the phone. He could have easily taken my word for it and charge me big bucks for a new transmission. He did not do that. At the drop off I mentioned if it was okay to check for any suspension issues or any bushings that needed to be replaced. The owner said it was no problem, he will check it while it’s off the ground. Had a weird issue with my sons 97 Wrangler. Since the car was dead I need a tow and one back to Brentwood wasnt worth the cost.
