Wow, the manager here was gracious and accommodating. Stayed with a party of nearly 40 band kids as a chaperone and she was kind about them totally taking over the pool and the breakfast area. Saw her tending the check in desk at 10:00 pm and she was right back at 8:00 am, that’s dedication. Thank you!!

We booked the Fairfield Inn on January 20th as a part of our road trip plan for the March Break. We were very surprised to arrive at the hotel in March to discover that we had to pay a pet fee of $100! I had messaged the inn back in January to let them know that we were bringing our dog with us. They never messaged back to let us know that we would have to pay a $100 fee for our dog! Unheard of.. we travel frequently with our dog. When considering that we paid $119 dollars for the room for our family of 4, thisdog fee is exorbitantly high, paying double the price because we have a dog?? It was late when we arrived and we didnt want to deal with going to find another hotel so we sucked it up and paid the price...but this was too hard to swallow...I had to mention this on Google. We were very disappointed for not being informed early on and that we had to pay such a high price. Very wrong in our opinion!

I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms in this hotel. They seem updated and more importantly very clean compared to other similar hotels. I also found the hotel staff go above and beyond. I was accidentally told that the breakfast ended at 10 and when I showed up it turns out it ends at 9. The manager managed to get some food for me. Usually in hotels cleaners are extremely loud and slam doors but here they were very quiet and considerate of the guests that might be resting. They whisper and place towels so the doors don’t slam. These little things go a long way.

The Fairfield Inn has recently undergone a remodel it seems. The rooms were well equipped and modern looking, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean.They have a very nice indoor heated swimming pool, but no fitness center. The good news is across the way is the residence Inn and you can use their gym. It has a single weight bench, free weights up to 45lbs, wish they had heavier weights, a treadmills, and other basics. Lots of space.My only wishes was that the market downstairs had a wider selection of items. Like muscle milk protein shakes, or other snack items.There’s plenty of parking. Fast WiFi. And a central location. All in all a good Marriott property if the price is right with friendly staff.

Difficult to find free parking but the lady at the receptionist waive ours since we are Elite member of Marriott Bonvoy. Agreed with friendly receptionist staff, and agreed that they did not do what we reported (light above the bathroom mirror) although they make explicit promise to fix it right away, we got 1500 points for this. Breakfast is in the simplest form of all Fairfield Inn we have tried in USA and Canada

Rooms are nice. Closet space is a bit small. The hotel also has the body wash pumps, which are excellent. You dont have to worry about those little small soaps for your whole body 😀the location is great its in walking distance of many familiar places,like Ross, Marshalls, Sprouts, the list goes on..

The very fact that there is an additional $12 a night fee for parking, when its not a parking garage or secure lot at all, just an open parking lot is absolutely ridiculous. And it wasnt anywhere in a warning when I booked so I had no idea about it.

Apple had great customer service, very nice person! Loved that the hotel has an indoor pool and hours are from 6am - 11pm. My daughter loved going to the pool. They have breakfast. The room was clean and good condition, beds were comfortable to sleep. Will recommend to go if youre near by and need a place to stay.

Stayed here over the weekend, the location is convenient and in the center of it all. Arrived and we’re quickly checked in by Apple at the front desk. Apple is very kind and courteous. The room was clean, smelled great and beds are comfy. Would stay at this location again.

Do not book here. They nickel and dime you until you wind up paying for what should equal the cost of an actual nice hotel. I booked through Expedia and did t see anywhere that they charge a $100 non-refundable pet fee. Had I known this, theres no way Id have booked there. There are so many free pet friendly options out there that Im done with all Marriott properties. The rooms are small and what they refer to as a queen bed is really only a full.

First time staying here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and comfortable and quiet. The only thing is that the closets are on the small side. Its in a great location next to shopping outlets and many places to eat. When we come back to this area, we will stay here again.

I stayed there with my family and it was a horrible experience. It’s definitely overpriced…. Breakfast was ok. The front desk staff was rude. We had a room with with no closet to put away our things. There was a wet spot next to the bed. They had an indoor pool that was hella dirty. The bathtub was dirty. It was just awful. We paid $290 for one night. Please don’t stay here… I know for a fact we won’t be going back … 😐

Stopped off here after a long drive and day to rest up before heading home. Check in was smooth. Parking involved putting a paper slip on the dash. There is renovating going on so entrance to the hotel is on the sides at the moment. Room was a good size on the third floor and I didnt have any major issues. Internet was easy and fast. Little things I noted, I didnt have any tissues and my dispenser for body wash was not working. Easy things to fix if I were staying more than a night though and I had toiletries with me just in case. I left really early the next morning to beat traffic, but breakfast is included. Gym facility is available in the residence inn nearby, but I did not attempt to access. Location was great if you are looking to hop on the interstate or stop at the outlets.

Weve stayed at this location a few times before & were excited to see the renovations. The room we stayed in was a small room perfect for a one night stay. It was a nice room, comfortable bed, beautiful furniture & TV was easy to access. We did find someones sock & bag behind the small dresser. How we found that was because we dropped the key & when going to grab it noticed the items on backside. As for the bathroom it was big, nice shower but it could have been cleaned more. The shower glass & handles had spots & it was dusty around wall rims throughout bathroom. It felt like it was rushed through the cleaning. With my background in the hospitality industry - we would have room inspections to see if the cleaning was being conducted properly. We never had that issue before. Breakfast was interesting & we always enjoy the hospitality from the employees, they are very kind. Thank you

Decent hotel for the price. The elevator wasnt working when we stayed; however, the staff gave us notice of this several days before we were scheduled to check in - they even offered marriott bonvoy points for the inconvenience. Im giving 4 stars because the room wasnt super clean and the continental breakfast seems to have gotten worse within the last couple of years. Overall, though, it was a great stay.

Alright, we have stayed in some 2 star hotels in the past due to attending dogshows : this hotel is definitely way better then the average 2 or even 3 star hotels. The rooms are renovated, clean and nice, everything is well laid out. Most importantly I would like to emphasize the staff - after the pandemic Hotel industry went really downhill, and it is refreshing to go to a place that provides great service like this hotel. Lady at the breakfast was wonderful a helped our family to get breakfast, even toasted our bread for us. We really appreciate them going above and beyond in the place.

A great hotel for a great price. We enjoyed the stay, the pool did kind of smell a little chlorinated which isn’t good, but my kids did enjoy swimming downfall no hot tub and no workout room. We did get a random 4:30am wake up which we did not schedule. The breakfast is a normal hotel breakfast nothing fancy. The rooms were good nice and clean. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

So I went online to the schedule the one next day. I have been a lot of nights in different hotels for work. Just preface this. I went to the desk and the lady was nice but she gave me the wrong room on the third floor. Had a big bag with me. How I found out was the angry guy behind the door told me I was trying to open the wrong door. So I had to go back downstairs and I saw one of the other girls on her cell phone texting with her back to me. I said excuse me and she put it down quickly I told her what happened they looked on the computer and saw that she wrote to the wrong door number. So i went back upstairs again finally that room is correct. The bed was very uncomfortable. What was bad was I was charged for parking even though it didnt say anything about parking costing anything. Ive never been to a place where you charged for parking. So tihe nickel and dime you for random stuff and it turns out to be the same price as a really good place so you dont really save anything going here. Just go to a better place with better more comfortable furniture and you will pay the same

Both front desk people were wonderful, professional and warm. They were very responsive. However, the rooms were definitely not matching the brand or the front desk. No soap, shampoo or conditioner. Hair scrunchie and dust balls under the bed. And a yellow stain near toilet in bath. On the other hand, the beds were very comfortable and the bath large with a great dual shower head.

My family got a room with two queen beds for one night on fairly short notice. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so sections, including the staircases, were inaccessible. The pool had a sign on the door saying it was closed due to construction, but kids were in the pool in the evening, and the door was open the next morning, filling the hallway with the smell of chlorine. We thought there would be a microwave in our room, but we were told that rooms with two beds did not include a microwave, and we could not have a spare microwave brought to the room. All of this was somewhat inconvenient. However, the room was clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast (across the parking lot at the extended stay building) was excellent.

Excellent choice! I and am staying for 5 more nights but after a great nights sleep and a delicious breakfast I wanted to post my review now so I do not forget later! This is a nice hotel for a great rate, sporting clean and well maintained rooms with comfortable beds. The staff has done a wonderful job and is very focused on customer satisfaction. I have not had any issues, but if I did, I am confident they would be quick to respond. Another great Marriott experience!

The breakfast every morning was always good and very much on par with the Residence Inn across the way. With fresh cut limes in the water cooler in the lobby staying hydrated was never an issue. Stayed her for a whole month. Covid meant no normal breakfast services, instead bag breakfast was provided which left a bit to be desired. Definitely more of a snack bag. The room was clean and room service was handled any day I wanted by the time I got back from work. Refreshments and coffee bar took a while to be restocked but nothing too bad. Overall a very nice stay with the main drawbacks being a lack of laundry access and the occasional lacking snack bar.

Updated hotel in a convenient location - walking distance to the Vacaville Premium Outlets and right off the I-80 freeway. The room and all linens smelled & appeared fresh, and all surfaces looked polished. There were, however, noticeable marks on the walls and stains in the carpet. The room I stayed in was a single king, on the 3rd (top) floor, and looked clean otherwise (I sanitized surfaces upon entry to be sure).With CDC guidelines in effect, you must wear a mask in the common areas. Breakfast was provided in bags to-go each morning. There is a 24- hour vacancy between guests for each room. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Parking is $10/day (should be free).I would stay here again and recommend. Ew

Do NOT stay here!!!!! Their employees have access to your room even after you may request numerous times no housekeeping due to COVID etc....my room was broken into !!! while out for the day.....they stole my Laptop and Pad!!! the hotel saw in their system my room was entered in by one of their staff......Footage shows me gone for the day everything verified by the police and this company refused to replace my stolen property!!! When the situation occured......I immediatley contacted the police and told the front desk......the GM never reached out and had knowledge of the situation..I had to literally email and call for her to even address the matter for their management to try to resolve this situation....I recently reached out to her again prior to multiple times these past months and no assistance.....My eletronic devices were stolen in April, I contacted the police to come out for an investigation they came out took a report....employee who had access to my room even stated to the police in report they saw my computer etc.............the police saw actual proof of me leaving hotel and saw my door access being entered in with an employee key card while I was gone after telling front to Bypass cleaning my room and the fact ..... I would request towels when needed....I also had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door as well. I repeat do not stay here.... DO NOT RISK YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS BEING STOLEN!!!! you might not notice until you actuallly leave! Still to this day the GM has not gone above and beyond to make sure my items were returned......She chuckled on the phone when I recently called regarding my STOLEN PROPERTY with her coworkers in the background....DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! they absolutely dont give a eff.....this division of MARRIOTT needs to be shut down!!!

This was one hotel I always was curious about because I have my few favorites that I frequent and never gave this one a chance based on reviews.Pleasantly surprised and added this one at the top of my list. Everything about this place is a perk. Location, customer service: Rita, Angel, Vince, check in super fast, there is coffee & tea offered 24 hours, a very nice breakfast selection, super clean new rooms with a fridge, microwave, charging outlets, HUGE television with free showtime and hbo plus, and the wall mounted shampoo, conditioner & body wash! It checks off everything that I love in a hotel. And I know hotels because I’ve stayed in 60 in the past year.

The desk workers were very helpful and the staff was very nice. The rooms were nice too but the hotel was under renovation so it was very inconvenient. The continental breakfast wasnt provided at the hotel because the dining room was under construction so we had to walk across the street to the other hotel. That one too was under renovation so they didnt have a dining hall. Instead, they had a very small breakfast in a re-purposed room of the hotel, didnt have enough seating and everyone was running I to each other. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for a night but very inconvenient.

Clean room, had the essentials. The desk power outlet was hard to access as it was dead center underneath. The night stand between the beds had a lamp with an outlet which was much more convenient. Bathroom was clean and in order. The parking lot was very well lit but unfortunately also lit the window of our room very well. Baked good were good at breakfast but the eggs and ham were hurting when we got down for the final 45 minutes of a busy fourth of July.

They charged me $100 for a Pet Fee no matter if you stay one night or ten. Thats ridiculous. They also charged me $12 per night to park in the lot. There were no security guards or patrols around. The elevator did not work and was probably shut off due to Covid - we stayed there 2 nights in March 2022. Oh and you couldnt use the pool either. The food for breakfast was all in separate packages and who knows how long they had been there. Everything, except the coffee had preservatives - nothing fresh. I will not be staying at a Marriott again after this experience.

Location was great, very close to the Vacaville outlet shopping and the freeway entrance. I got a king bed room, which was clean although the shower pressure is a little weak compared to other hotels and the hallway smelled of cleaning products from housekeeping. Didnt use the pool, but it was indoor heated. They also provide a guest pass to Vacaville Fitness if you want to use a gym. The hot breakfast was also nice, there was eggs, bacon, and sausage patty (very dry) along with your standard continental breakfast items and a waffle maker. Overall, a pleasant experience and the price was reasonable.

Staying here on business, so changing hotels would be more trouble than its worth, and Id probably have to pay the fees. There are stains all over my walls, the people at the pool sound like they are inside my room, the people above me sound like they are giving tap dancing lessons beginning at 5am, I killed a cockroach in my room the first day I was here, etc. etc. All around, the place is just another old and run down 2 or 3 level motel style building that hotel chains are slapping a fresh coat of paint on and acting like theyre nice.

The room! The beds! The breakfast! I havent stayed at a Fairfield in years & they have really stepped up their game. The beds were HEAVENLY. I love the tall ceilings. Plenty of outlets, great toiletries, BEST pillows hands down! Their breakfast was AMAZING... with 2 different types of waffles, an oatmeal bar, 4 different types of dry cereal, bagels, muffins, omelets, scrambled eggs, meat for the carnists, juice, hard boiled eggs & more. Very clean, very tidy, always on time & the staff was so pleasant, helpful & genuinely friendly. I hated leaving here!

Average at best compared to most other Marriott properties.Room could have used some attention. While sheets and carpets were clean, curtains were stained as was the bathroom floor. Mattress was not comfortable, and the last day we were they were taking mattress out in box trucks so hopefully replacing them with better ones.Pool is over saturated with chlorine as most Marriott pools are. “Laundry” listed on map on back of hotel door but this is not for guest use. To do laundry, I had to walk across the street to the Residence Inn and use their washer and dryer on the second floor.Breakfast is the standard breakfast. I don’t eat breakfast often but the few times I walked down there were bananas, apples, and oranges. Cereals, toast, cut fruit, sausage, yogurt, etc.Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely no complaints about service!Three stars is a comparison to the other Fairfield’s and Marriot properties I’ve stayed at. This was one in need of attention, if my standard is to compare them to the rest.

The lady working the desk was the worst, rude, unable to multitask and made it clear she was by herself and for that reason accept what shes delivering to you. The rooms were mediocre, if you have a few devices to charge good luck theres one box on the night stand with two USB ports and 2 outlets. Speaking of night stands theres only 1 in the room for you and partner to share. The sink is on the outside of the bathroom so be prepared to wake anyone else in the room if you need to wash your hands. The toilet kept running, had to go back and shake the handle a few times. All in all, horrible. The only thing good about it is they have HDMI inputs that you can actually use, other than that I will never come back to this location again.

Found myself in Vacaville in need of a hotel reservation and as a Marriott Rewards member I looked at Marriott properties first. When I contacted Fairfield Inn the front desk clerk, Elizabeth answered and then put my call on hold. After waiting several minutes she returned apparently forgetting that she had placed my call on hold... she then put me on hold again. I called back and she transferred my call away to a corporate reservations line. I then called a sister property as I drove directly to the property and they kindly looked up and quoted prices for their own property and Fairfield. When I arrived at Fairfield I told the desk attendant about the difficulties I had earlier and inquired about a room. I was quoted 4... 4! ...different prices for the same room during our conversation. When I let her know that I had been giving a price by their sister property she then suddenly found a rate that was half of what she originally tried to charge for the room. I declined saying that I was really unhappy with the customer service I had received so far... and then stayed at the more expensive sister property with the exceptional staff and better accommodations. I would not stay here or ever recommend it.

Do not bother with this property. They overbooked and gave my room away. There are some other negative reviews mentioning the use of cheap tactics by this hotel and now I witnessed it first hand. I have stayed at over 20 Marriott properties this year and this is the first one I’ve seen pull something like this. I booked online and did not check into my room until 10 PM, using the app. When I checked in, I selected a checkin time of 1 AM and I received confirmation that my room was available on the app. What I believe happened is that they accidentally overbooked rooms and prior to my arrival it was first come, first serve. Since I hadn’t shown up, they thought they got away with it. So when I walked in at 1 AM the desk clerk immediately looked surprised that I actually came. He told me that someone working during the day had an issue with my credit card so they cancelled my room. I assure you there’s nothing wrong with my credit card because I had even used it at another Marriott property that morning. He also said they tried to contact me, however I received no phone call and no email. Very very dirty business practice and I am extremely disappointed especially since I am a frequent Marriott customer.

That is a huge improvement from rudeness and ugliness though, so I will take it. The room was better also.Hotel is still in bad need of major reno all throughout though. Everything (pool included) appeared to be very dirty and dingy.The dining area is also very small, so its always packed out and the guy who is in charge of breakfest most of the time has a hard time putting all of the stuff out and keeping it all filled up. So there are always lots of items missing. Never even saw the poppyseed bread and dont dare ask him for anything.

My family and I stayed their two weeks ago. We got our room key card and as I opened room door... there was already some guy sitting in our bed watching the television. According to assistant manager, this guy was the maintenance employee fixing the television. I realized that assistant manager was just covering for this lazy employee. I was very upset due to the fact that my family and I were really tired from a long drive and were looking forward to some rest.We ended up checking in the Holiday Inn instead. Holiday Inn staff were very friendly and professional.

My experience at this hotel was great... until we checked out......my husband is a wounded veteran and so we were homeless until we worked with the ssvf. they paid for our stay here. when we went to check out the hotel assistant manager said we had broken furniture and the room was destroyed, but of course it was not. then there was two homeless people that would come and sit on the bench and smoked crack yes it was actual crack. when we reported it we got yelled at for moving a picnic bench. if you are planning on staying here for a while I would advise you to stay else where so that this does not happen to you either. its sad that this hotel would take advantage of someone who fought for their freedom and had no money nothing and they wanted to make a quick buck and had the ssvf pay.... dont worry ill make sure not to recommend other veterans stay here either. sad sad sad people

Location is good, but to pay 100+ for this place like I had an argument not good but this photo is legit where is the health inspector cause they need an exterminator asap. That whole parking lot is crawling with cockroaches . 100+ a night and I had to get my car washed asap and sprayed underneath my car . They over charged me for parking . I had one car, I would not return as this was over priced and so gross. Covid or no covid this place shouldnt be able to even have a buffet unless you want cockroaches pancakes... Yikes...
