Easy to find and get to, plenty of parking, room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was great, wifi was stable and fast and near plenty of food and gas options. Would stay here again.

ReviewThe GM of this location is Zalma Quezada. And her Manager is Neal - who you will never get a hold of.Remember there names and hope that you never get helped by them. Because they truly done care about your stay not the service they provide. In fact when I told her that her service counter person was wearing a “Chevron” sweatshirt and no name badge- she gave no F’s. Even when I told her that my wife and I were locked out - the attendant never showed up until 30 mins later - she still gave no care.The Room:- white stains on the sofa; don’t even want to begin on what that stain was.- Dirty carpet that was not vacuumed properly and some sort of sticky substance near the bed and desk area- Stained dried toothpaste on the bathroom countertop- the top was never cleaned nor was the area below which had debris from the previous resident.She treats Marriott members who are loyal to Marriott for over 15 years like they are garbage.I told her how many points I used for the stay (after spending a lotTo earn then). She said “I’ll need to check that first and get back to you” - as if I was lying to her.She never issued the points back. Well done customer service by you and your manager to actually take of the people who pay your salary.Please do your best to never stay at this location.

Rooms were very clean. Lovely views of mountains on fourth floor. Beds were comfortable. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. They were genuinely interested in how you were liking your stay. Employees in breakfast area were also very helpful. Housekeeping was also pleasant and helpful.

I’m not a huge fan of any hotels for traveling but this was one of the better ones. I only stayed for 1 night so take my review with a grain of salt. The room was cleaned, the linen appeared to be clean and washed based on the smell . The shower was cleaned and spotless. I was not a huge fan of the beds to soft for me. I stayed on the 4th floor and it was very quiet did not hear any noises or neighbors.The check-in clerk was nice and the continental breakfast in the morning was sufficient. It beats spending $20 to eat at a breakfast restaurant. Overall if I am back in the Moorpark area I will be staying here again.

Absolutely do not stay here. Walls are paper thin. First night I could hear my neighbors TV and them talking over it. The front desk did nothing about it until I walked downstairs and asked for a new room. I was told they were sold out but the employee came upstairs to talk to the occupants.They switched me to a new room the next day after I asked a different employee the following morning. In this room not only could I hear people arguing, for the past two hours there have been children screaming and running around and jumping in the room above me. It is 12:30 at night and I am furious. I’m here on a work trip and need to sleep.There’s no way to keep the air conditioning fan on all night so it’s dead silent in the room. I have a white noise app but it still isn’t enough to drown these people out.It’s literally the only Marriott in town and I will never stay here again and am strongly considering leaving early.

Weve stayed here several times over the past 10 months. The breakfast could be better but the property is very well done. We had a few service issues with cleanliness on multiple stays but more recently we have not had those same issues. I would highly recommend this property because its new, has substantial amenities, is centrally located near food, retail and REVELATION CHURCH. The wifi may not be as strong as your office wifi, so bring a hot spot if you plan on making office related video calls. Book in advance for a better rate and check out the amenities on their website.

My family and I (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 preteen) stayed here to be close to the Ronald Reagan Library, which is only 6 miles away. We chose this location for the complimentary breakfast and Marriot Bonvoy low points required to stay at this location compared to others.The rooms were very clean and the 2 queen bed set up was comfortable. The only improvement Id like to see is to have more firm pillows in the beds, as the current ones are very flat.Staff was friendly and helpful.

A really great place. Its still newish so it looks new and is clean and inviting. Its location is great for Moorpark, which is obviously small. Its been great to stay here.The workers appear to care. Everyone Ive met is friendly or cordial, and since the rooms are clean, Im guessing they are happy workers as well.Ive stayed there 7 times already do I know that they are consistent too!!

Holy hell, what the heck Marriott? This is not what I’d expect from a hotel that costs $300 per night!1. EVERY LIGHT in the room is daylight light. it felt like a mental asylum - no way to get any sleep if you need some light!2. Do you like white noise? I hope you do - the high hum of the fridge and the deafening noise of the air conditioner will be blasting all night. Awesome!3. Would you like to take a relaxing dip in the tub? Nope, they removed the stopper so you can’t use it as a tub. Also, be careful when stepping in, cause it wasn’t cleaned4. Bring your own toilet paper, cause that 1-ply junk is like sand paper5. Also bring your own shampoo and wash, trust me.

This is a really nice hotel. Its very clean and the check-in was pleasant even though I arrived very late. I really appreciated the upgrade. The breakfast offered more options than other Fairfield Inns that Ive been to. I appreciated the lady that was constantly working to keep the area clean.Update: I choose the option for just towel changes instead of regular room service to make it easier for the housekeeping staff. I didnt get any cleaned towels during my entire 3 night stay. I would suggest others to opt for the regular room service if they want their towels replaced with clean ones.

We made a reservation at this hotel last minute on memorial weekend while visiting Moorpark for a travel ball team tournament. The rates were reasonable, the rooms were beautiful, and the customer service was above and beyond. My youngest son left his favorite blanket in one of the two rooms that we stayed in. Several days later we realized we left the blanket there. The hotel reached out to us and asked us if we had left a blanket. We were so surprised, as that has never happened anywhere weve stayed and left something behind. They kept the blanket at the front desk for three weeks until someone was able to get out there and pick it up, being we live over 2 hours away. BEST customer service ever! I was so completely impressed with not only the immaculate and beautiful hotel, the team who works here is absolutely amazing! Thank you!

Anyone giving this hotel a 4-5 rating has never stayed in 4-5 rated hotel. I have stayed there since they opened -every other month -and it has gone downhill fast. Rooms are dirty, facility is dirty, and staff is very rude. My company is located in Moorpark and it’s gotten so bad that we are no longer doing business with them or even allowed to book a room there. The last time I stayed there (2 weeks ago) room was filthy and lamp next to bed was just an exposed wire out of the wall. I told front desk - could have cared less and said it would be fixed - but never was the 2 weeks I stayed there.

This is a terrible hotel. Go somewhere else!We specifically requested that housekeeping clean our room for two days in a row and it was not cleaned either day. We asked for a partial refund and were told that all they could do was give us extra Marriott points.They just simply DO NOT CARE about providing good service.Also, the free breakfast is terrible. The food that should be hot was lukewarm - the breakfast meats, the potatoes and the eggs AND even the oatmeal.Also, the coffee served at breakfast is provided in pump-style thermos jugs that only dispense a small amount of coffee each time you pump them. We tried all of them and they were all that way. It took 15 pumps to fill a coffee cup. Maybe to save money?Also, the orange juice served at breakfast tastes terrible and is obviously watered down. Maybe to save money?We will never stay here again. Based on some of the other reviewers comments we will try the Couryard next time, or maybe better yet, look for some other hotel that is not a Marriott property.

Horrible. My mother in law booked several rooms here for a wedding. We checked in on May 27 in the morning, unpacked our things in our room, attended the wedding, and then returned to the Marriott around midnight to find that we could not get into the room. We went down to the front desk and they had removed all of our belongings from our room and placed them in the lobby. They had given someone else OUR room and informed us that the hotel was booked and we had nowhere to stay. It was the most shocking and disappointing thing that has ever happened to me at a hotel. They only offered us a refund on our room (which was obviously expected since they gave our room to someone else). I’m not sure how they chose us to bump or who was staying in that room that was so much more important than us. Fun thing is, my husband is a lawyer so it will be quite easy for us to file a civil suit against Marriott. Do better.

The room was very nice, modern, clean, with an oversized walking shower. However, no coffee maker. Disappointed with the website not disclosing that hot breakfast would not be available. Instead they offer a bad breakfast. Oh wait, they had one left when my family of four went down and the banana was black and frozen. On the bright side it kept the water cold. Oh wait, they were out of water too. I was very excited to utilize the digital key option to limit face to face contact, however that locked me out of my room twice and I ended up going to the front desk even more often. Not sure why if I turn down housekeeping service when a pandemic isnt going on I get extra points, but during a pandemic the hotel simply saves money. Yes money, it has nothing to do with saving water and reusing towels. I love Marriott, the room was great, the amenities were not.

The thermostats wont let you leave the fan on continuously which sucks for those of us that like white noise and recirculating air, the bed was super soft and mushy, and the whole hotel seemed humid and this was in May. Also, the rooms dont have safes which seems crazy for a business hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful new property and were pleasantly surprised. The decor, service and cleanliness standards are stellar. Staying during the Covid-19 pandemic, we didn’t expect breakfast or housekeeping services, but were still offered a grab and go bag in the morning, explained the pool wasn’t open yet and our temperature was taken. All these precautions and disclosures made us feel so much more comfortable. We will be back!

I had to stay for more than 4 days and because of the people, this hotel feels / felt like home. I was honestly sad to leave and Kim and Neysa are super sweet! The color scheme makes it peaceful. The cleanliness, and willingness of the staff to make things right, is why I really like this hotel. Neysa, Roman, Kim, Andrew, Zalma, George and more... have ALL been accommodating, friendly, and warm. Every morning at breakfast Neysa greeted me with kindness. I felt seen, heard, and valuable. Nice, new, and clean! The shower was amazing! I love the teatree shampoo. Pillows were comfortable, but the bed could have been softer. They do not have a shuttle service, and they did not have any water bottles in the rooms so bring your own water.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had accompanied with the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life Via the manager Diane Jarisca. Starting at 8 AM there was an ear piercing alarm going off IN our room every 10-20 minutes. We finally contacted the front desk after an hour of that...and they informed us that the elevator was being worked on.....yet no one informed us that this was going to happen. We moved to another room in hopes that the alarm would not be going off in there, unfortunately the same thing. An hour later we could not take it anymore so we went in search of somewhere else to stay. We found other accomodations and returned to the Marriott to check out and move.....they were going to make us pay for the whole night. After some discussion the manager offered first a 15% discount, then 20% even though we werent and couldnt be there all day and werent staying the night. We asked her to prorate the room because we literally spent no more than an hour in it, but she clearly did not care and was actually extremely rude even suggesting that we should have just hung out in the lobby all day to avoid the alarm! Also my boyfriend is a Veteran of the Navy.....and this happened on Veterans Day. The icing on the cake is that we paid part cash....and she WAY overcharged us on our credit card. In the end we paid over $700 for two nights when we only stayed one night. I cannot wrap my mind around how and why Diane would think a customer service job is for her....and If you read the reviews of the hotel there are constant complaints on customer service. Diane clearly doesnt understand or care how their guests stay is. She did not one time apologize for our experience....instead she was extremely rude and disrespectful. Dont waste your money and possibly your sanity here its not worth it.

Hotel is still NEW, only 18 months old, so everything is CLEAN & NEW!Rooms are large, with nice amenities.(Need to request a shower cap if want one)A welcoming hotel if you are in the area.Breakfast is fair- it’s complimentary but average in selections.It also is ONLY offered at 7-930AM!Should be 7-10 or 7-11.The glaring negative we had was the girl at the front desk was not professional, in fact she winked at me and clicked her tongue when she handed me the room keycards!My husband is Deaf and as we walked to the elevator his comment was also negative about his “visual” observation of her demonstrated behavior as lacking professionalism.A real lack of respect and professionalism!She would fit better as a Walmart Greeter!She also was curt on the phone the day before when I had called to inquire about the hotel info.Her response was, “we are short-handed” and I’ve worked 6 days in a row.Again, TMI and unprofessional!The hotel is great but this employee needs retraining or “get someone else” at the point of desk contact!Hotel Staff are a reflection of the business they represent, I cannot give this hotel more than 2 stars, Due to her lack of professionalism.Upon leaving, I kindly asked for her name, she refused to tell me, went into the office and shut the door, refusing to return!Thankfully, after waiting and standing there another 10 minutes with a closed door in my face, an engineer walked over and told me her name is “KIM”.Please Marriott- address this issue, as this employee needs retraining or shown the door!

This hotel has all acceptable amenities that I expect from a Marriott hotel. However, the check in process was a nightmare. We arrived after the check-In time for a prepaid hotel room, but our room was not ready for 45 minutes. Despite asking the staff to expedite preparing a room, there were significant delays leading to us almost missing the event we had traveled so far to attend. This hotel needs to do some major quality improvement on their room preparation process. Would not stay at this hotel due to this major inconvenience.

The Air Conditioning did not work properly and the management has done NOTHING to address this issue with us. We were in town for a wedding and got back to our room very late at night. We just wanted to get some sleep, but were only able to nap here and there because the AC temperature kept creeping up, once to 87 degrees. We continually put it down, would doze off, only to wakened again because of the temperature. When reporting this to the front desk, it was insinuated that we were making it up because they had just recently been upgraded. My husband showed her a picture of the 87 degrees and it showing cooling to prove our point. She then offered my husband double points. My husband declined and asked that a manager call him. We are still awaiting that call. Also, in speaking with other guests from the wedding, we were not the only ones experiencing this problem so there is clearly an issue with their HVAC system, but they obviously are not addressing the issue. I would not recommend this location unless you like your room like a sauna when trying to get some sleep. Very disappointed because we have always stayed at Marriotts, but their lack of customer service is very disturbing. I am hoping someone from Corporate will take note of this and do something to correct it, but not holding my breath on it.

So get this. My mother purchased 4 rooms for a wedding. I checked in unpacked my clothes for a week long trip at 3 pm. I went to my cousins wedding and returned around 11 pm. Dianne Jereska the general manager decided for some reason a Wikipedia customer was more important and their staff LITERALLY took all of my clothes and belongings out of my private room and put them downstairs and told us there are no more rooms. So, now, we are stuck trying to find another room. They didn’t comp any rooms or offer anything other than a room 20 minutes away. True story. I would welcome any response from any representative of Marriott to say otherwise.

I came to stay here a few nights at this establishment only to be in horror. I tried to use the on-site laundry and there was this guest who I assume lives on the site, had all the washers to her self. Each time I kept trying to use the area she was in there and she even broke a washer and made the whole area smell like mold. I decided to use an off site laundry mat instead. Much cleaner, I started to think the lady in there was the washing machine police making sure no one uses it. Management needs to make sure all there guest have access to the area instead of one person having special privileges.

This place has really bad service. We called them so many times and they NEVER came. They installed the hot and cold sticker backwards. In our room the floor was sticky. Also the mattresses slide on the bed. it is very dangerous if that hard wood hits someone in the shin.

It never seemed full.An extremely popular hotel for wedding parties getting married in and around Moorpark. We spoke with three different groups who were in town, all for weddings at three different Moorpark locations. They loved the hotel, its location, and the wedding venues.Seems Moorpark really did need a nice, new hotel.

The hotel was very clean and had nice facilities. The beds were comfortable, I like that Marriot garauntees consistency in all their hotels. One of the women working the front desk however clearly didnt want to be there as she was generally rude to me and other guests. Everyone was really patient with me needing to extend my stay night after night. However I take issue with the billing. When I extended my stay for the last time I was told the rate would increase to $200, which I accepted since it was a holiday weekend and I knew thatd be around average for a room. However looking at my bill now I was charged a room rate of $237 before taxes and etc, not 200 which is a big enough difference that had I been told that upfront I would have looked for somewhere else to stay for the next night. Secondly, despite the fact that my stay shouldnt be more than $800 I currently have over $1500 pending charges to my bank account, which is effectively overdrafting my account. I checked out 4 days ago. Not sure Ill stay here if I find myself passing through again.

Dianne is 1 of the worst Marriott managers I’ve ever come across. I’ve been traveling for over 15 years and exclusively use Marriott. She basically made me feel like my business was not important and wouldn’t matter. I encourage anyone staying here for business to avoid this property and stay at the courtyard in Simi Valley. They actually do care about the guest and their needs.

This hotel manager was vwry rood to me when I adressed an issue with the a.c. unit not working correctly it was too hit in the room and would not cool down! Also the fridge started to make a loud humming noise at 3am and would bot stop! I felt very creeped out in this room and I was very upset about everything so I had my mom on 3 way and she listened to the manager bad mouth me about the amount of kids I had in my room asking me hiw many kids I have that she cant hear me and that we were not aloud to accommodate that many in a room.!

I wish I can give them 0 STAR . The worst customer service I have ever experienced.They confirmed my booking for 2 nights over the phone . After first night, called me on phone around 11:30 forcing me to check out at 12:00. It was their mistake .. they overbooked . The front desk lady was so rude, threatening that they will call the cops to if I will not check out by noon .I asked to have so some more time as my husband was away for business . I can not go with a toddler without him coming back.Then I called cops so that I can stay until my husband is back.Even they refused to check back with the employee who booked us for 2 night . Staff did n’t admit their mistakes and was harassing us.

At first I was quite disappointed in this hotel due to the fact that the website I booked through stated they had roll away beds but instead, they actually only had an inflatable bed. Its new, so theres still kinks to flatten out. The rooms are very echoey, and the doors shut on you faster than you can get into the room. They didnt have a coffee maker, cups, or even a safe in the room. Not a single worker was hospitable or friendly. I probably wont return.

Although, my family and I were grateful for Dianne, the manager, letting us quarantine after being diagnosed with COVID-19, we still had a few issues. The television stations and air-conditioner didn’t work. The breakfast was pathetically bland. Otherwise, the stuff was helpful, especially the young ladies at the front desk. Would consider staying again after the pandemic. (Will post on yelp after company is listed.)

Business trip, everything worked properly during my stay. You could feel the proximity to the highway, but it wasnt a problem to sleep.Excellent and plentiful breakfast, very varied.Very kind staff. Clean and very spacious room.
