The Fair Claims process was extremely tedious. The customer service however was very helpful. Mediation was tiresome and very long. I had at least 50 pictures of what the contractor did incorrectly, ruined with huge scratches or just did not follow directions on the flooring. I got back part of my money but my floors were ruined by poor workmanship. I did not replace my floor right away. Expensive LVP litterally came apart where I was trying to tell the meadiator it would, and that part of my testimony was ignored. A high traffic area was not leveled and the luxury vinyl came totally up off the floor. The contractor used underlayment and the flooring specifically stated not to.Caulking was a total mess. The contractor lied, I had a witness and I feel I should have had total cost replacement for his shoddy work.
Straight joke. They force you to sign stuff and they really don’t know how to make judgements they assume and guess things. On top of that they have “attorneys” making decisions now we all know that they are the biggest liars yet this is a scam and fraud
FairClaims did a great job with the evidence we had, they ruled in our favor, they followed the evidence to the truth we would use them again !!

I had a good experience with Fair Claims and my arbitrator did have a construction background. For my part, I was thorough with explanations, timeline and photos which assisted the arbitration process. I was pleased they were able to resolve my claim.

2024-06-28 23:48:31This company is getting paid under the table by the corporation that is against the consumer to win they case .As a consumer you have no chance of winning any case if you are using FairClaims for your arbitration, your evidence can clearly show that the corporation owe you money, but that does not matter for FairClaims.All the arbitrators, mediators on this company FairClaims need to be investigated, by law enforcement, or any related legal entity for improper practices!!!

2024-04-21 23:32:07These people are a bunch of inexperienced, kids. They control Angis Leads Decisions. And my lead didnt use them to find me!! They profess much experience and produce little. Unfortunately they were brought into a subject that they know nothing about...air duct cleaning and remediation services. Arbitrators come to agreements with 2 parties. They awarded ALL the funds of ALL my work to a dirty, unclean, 14 cat owner, smoker who claims we came in and hung out at her house doing nothing for 6.5 hours. They shut down my advertising for 2 weeks while the guy who was handling the problem went on vacation.!! Losers, If I could give any rating it would be a half of a moon!

And they did not do their job Well .customer won due to not having no background in construction. I will be contacting better buisness bureau.

2023-12-20 20:58:21I used FairClaims to arbitrate a dispute with some contractors over the installation of a heat pump, and was impressed with the result. Im not terribly experienced with legal matters, but Ive seen enough to have learned that even if you have a cast-iron case your chances of winning are still pretty much a coin toss, so taking the plea deal and getting things done quickly and cheaply is generally the only realistic way to handle matters - hence arbitration.With FairClaims, the process was almost entirely online, simple and arms-length, so one didnt have to go through any stressful and time-consuming face-to-face fighting with the other party. There was ample opportunity to resolve the dispute even before going into a hearing with a human arbitrator. The arbitration hearing was simple and well-organised, and the arbitrator had clearly taken the time to read and understand the evidence. He maintained control of the proceedings, generally kept everything on track, and the (phone) hearing was done and dusted in about half an hour.Anyone who engages in any sort of dispute resolution process probably wont get everything asked for, is going to feel aggrieved, and will probably still feel so even if fortunate enough to win the case. As it happens, I mostly won the dispute, but even had I not done so, I think that I would have felt as if I had had my fair day in (quasi) court, and that had I lost I should take my lumps and go home content that I had made my case as best I could, and that I can draw a line under the whole nightmare and get on with my life.All told, I think that Fair Claims did an excellent job. Their web site is pretty lame, but if youre organised and prepared to put in the time and effort to document your case clearly and succinctly, then you ought to be able to get through without undue expense and grief.If youre the sort of person who expects to be able to stand up in front of Judge Wapner and plead your case, bicker with the other party, and hope to get a resolution, then this is NOT the service for you. The whole process is designed to avoid that as much as possible. You are trading your sweat equity in preparing the case beforehand to be able to get the arbitration proceedings themselves done quickly and efficiently.
