I wanted to drop a comment about my experience with Cory at Fahrney Ford purchasing a new truck! He really made the whole truck buying experience enjoyable and easy! Salesman was honest and cool guy, finance manager was dishonest and wasnt a man of his word, started off by telling me he would beat Carmax trade in valve only to offer 5k less than carmax. Wasted 3 hours of my time. I wouldnt offer my business as a customer even if they had a vehicle I was looking for under market value.

Bad experience with Fahrney Buick GMC I bought a new GMC Sierra on January 6th 2024 and it starts with Financing they stick you with supposedly pre-installed items like the KARR security system that sounded like it came standard with the vehicle but when I reviewed my copies at home I saw he charged me 1734 dls for it, and when you call them out on it he says he cant do anything also one of the items I bought ( finishing touch) that job usually take half a day to apply and they were done in less than 2 hours the vehicle wasnt even washed which is something you have to do before applying it and I called to get the work order and confirm that they actually applied it they have a hard time producing a copy of it then you talk to management to see what we can do about it they give you the run around telling you that I have to speak to Curtis I been waiting for Curtis call for almost 1 week also the auto stop in the vehicle only works sometimes when I asked the sales reps they dont know cause supposedly theyre not really familiar with GMC vehicles even though they sell GMCs I probably wont be doing business with this dealership ever again. An update on my purchase, I checked with a GMC service advisor at my local dealership in Bakersfield and he said that it is a big possibility that the aftermarket device (KARR Security system)that Fahrney Buick GMC pre-installs in its vehicles could void your warranties including the extended warranty that they sell you even though they know that probably wont be able to use it so be careful people if you buy a vehicle tru them make sure it doesnt have the KAAR security system because you would have problems down the road and this is after I asked them if having that item wouldnt void my warranty they said that it didnt so be careful people and if you do buy a vehicle that has that unit make sure that you get something in writing that states that theyll back any and all repairs that are not gonna be covered because of that unit because once the premises is really hard to get ahold of sales management for a resolution.

We were finally able purchase our family SUV Yukon XL Thank you to Ben Cardoza who made it happen. He made the process really easy due to shortage we had to order our SUV we we’re told it would take a month to get it, and we actually got it a week earlier. Deeply Disappointed by Lack of Resolution and Poor Customer Service I am writing this review with a heavy heart, as my experience with Fahrney GMC has been far from satisfactory. Last year, in October, my wife and I purchased a 2016 Chevy Traverse from this dealership with high hopes. However, our experience since then has been marked by ongoing issues, lack of resolution, and poor customer service. From day one, we noticed unusual engine noises and encountered problems with the air conditioning system. The promise made before we left the lot to schedule a service appointment for the car to address these concerns remained unfulfilled. When we finally attempted to get the air conditioner fixed, we were told that our coverage didnt apply, and we were directed back to the sales department. This is where our ordeal truly began. Contacting sales became a series of frustrating runarounds. The hopeful attitude we started with began to wane, and we felt increasingly disheartened. As we watched, our hopes for resolution dwindled, and our vehicles problems persisted, growing worse by the day. Our concern for the safety and reliability of the vehicle deepened. We chose Fahrney GMC based on their acclaimed reputation for outstanding customer service, a reputation they proudly tout on their website. The emphasis on customer satisfaction and vehicle performance were central factors in our decision to choose this dealership. Sadly, our experience has fallen drastically short of these expectations. Throughout the months, we have made numerous attempts to seek assistance, but each time we found ourselves relegated to the back burner. The disregard for our concerns has been disheartening, especially given the substantial investment we made in the vehicle and the trust we initially placed in the dealership. The growing engine noise and the potential danger posed by a failing motor mount have heightened our worries. As responsible parents, our utmost priority is the safety and reliability of our familys transportation. It is with profound frustration and disappointment that I write this review, expressing the frustration that has mounted over time. The fact that nearly a year has passed since our purchase with no resolution in sight is truly perplexing and distressing. While we acknowledge that vehicle issues can arise, the commitment to customer satisfaction that Fahrney GMC purports to uphold has, in our case, proven to be mere words. We genuinely hope that the dealership can comprehend the seriousness of our situation and extend the assistance and attention that our vehicle so desperately needs to ensure its safe and efficient operation. We are formally requesting immediate action to address the ongoing problems were encountering with our 2016 Chevy Traverse. Our expectation is that the reliable transportation we were promised will be restored. We entrust the dealership to prioritize our concerns and work towards their prompt resolution. Reason Being: If you like me; have No Credit, No Reliable Car, No Way to Go Pick out A Car, Have a busy Schedule, Need a vehicle to get you Here and There, MOST Importantly: Are tired of spending another Winter with your OLD Car that does not have a good Heater, Windows dont roll up, horrible on gas, Many of Hot Hot Summers No AC, Wind Chapped faces from driving out of town, My List Can Go On! You All Know His It Is...Most IMPORTANTLY: I got in touch with a sales Manager, and they ran my Credit, I Passed because they deal with a lot of different Banks. Got Approved! I did not even have a way to go pick up the vehicle. Fahrney HELPED, Mathew the takes Manager... Mathew texted and said, We want to help you, We can have a couple of our guys drive the vehicle over to you, and we can bring you your car. Can you believe that? No, this statement or offer does not occur to me. Now Im waiting, excited, thinking this is a Hack of some sort. Thank you Jesus; Here comes the guys bringing me my car. Then I spent a total of 5 Minutes. 5 Minutes signing documents, then they hand me my Keys! They get up out of my way and Im able to take off safely. I dont have to worry about my face getting chapped Hyde, I dont have TO worry ABOUT Blown tires, Car overheating, and now the car is mine. Im thankful. Thank you, Mathew, 2 Drivers, and their Staff for giving me an ever-lasting, Never-forgotten, Experience, that I will cherish forever. I called and was told the vehicle is available. After they figured out that Im really interested in buying the vehicle I got a call back from one of sales staff and was told 4000$ more of the price i was told.And they said its sold.Later I asked my friend to call them they said its available and again told him the low price. After that I called back again to figure it out and after I told them that they just told my friend its still available and the price is 25.690 not 30.000$ as they told me. They quickly just told me that that vehicle has just been sold )))

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Fahrney Buick GMC, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I had hoped to have a smooth and fair transaction while selling my car, but what I encountered was quite the opposite.First, Fahrney Buick GMC presented me with a shockingly low ball offer for my vehicle, and despite multiple calls and negotiations, we agreed on a price. However, when I requested a courtesy ride, they demanded a further discount of $500 or they wouldnt provide one.To make matters worse, they backed out of the deal at the last minute. Its disheartening to see a pattern of generic responses from management to similar reviews.To the management of Fahrney Buick GMC, if you truly want to improve and ensure a better experience for future customers, please reach out to me directly. My information should be in your system. Honest communication is essential in resolving these issues.In conclusion, my experience with Fahrney Buick GMC was deeply disappointing, and I would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with them to think twice. I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership. I would give them zero stars if I could. My vehicle was not properly inspected, serviced, or cleaned before it was sold to me. The dealership claimed they had taken care of these things, but it was clear that they had not. Its unacceptable to sell a vehicle and knowingly deceive customers. I was especially frustrated to discover that the GMC rims on my vehicle were actually fake, which is embarrassing for a GMC dealer. Unfortunately, this was just one of many issues I experienced. Im ashamed to say that I was fooled, and Im sure others have been as well. On top of everything else, Ive had issues with my warranty and have not received clear guidance or answers from the dealership. Overall, I would not recommend this dealership to others.

Farney GMC dealership just wasted 2hrs of my time and one of their managers, Samuel Gutierrez, is very condescending and aggressive. A week ago they contacted me about buying our used GMC Terrain that I had posted on OfferUp. I asked several times to let me know if they couldnt get close to my asking price so we didnt waste both of our time. I provided all info and again asked that they ensure they dont lowball me before I make the trip. They stated they could pay or come close to the asking price if the car represented well, which it did and does. They offered 23% less than my asking and based it off a carmax internet search which couldve been done at any point. Samuel didnt even run the vin or his carmax report until I got there (40min drive 1 way) and said he was busy with other customers so he couldnt do it until I got there (1 week with all my info). I probably wouldve taken the offer, but Samuel is very unprofessional and clearly doesnt care how he comes across. He got aggressive and tried to be intimidating when I didnt appreciate them wasting my time away from my family to take the car in for them to see. I cant review buying a car there, but I can say I will never be back and they need to work on their customer service.

The sales dept. are happy and greet you because they want you to buy their car, but once you are in service side, the discrimination and lack of respect is visible. The person at the counter did not greet us and was busy, at least acknowledge the person. The only one that was welcoming was Gregorio. I had my vehicle in for a LCD display malfunction. I dropped it off for diagnosis and repair in early October, the job was quoted to be a 12 hr repair under warranty, total time i was without my vehicle was 4 weeks. We were not offered a replacement vehicle, only to rent a car from the dealership. I have never had a dealership not give a loaner car for a repair that was going to be longer then 1 day. I was called and informed of progress a total of 1 time, any other update I had to inquire. The staff were very professional over the phone, but seemed to not have much information for updated other then to say that the tech was leaving early (usually around 4 pm). Text message communication was initiated by the manager of the service department, Michelle, who also rarely replied in a timely manner. The repair was finally finished and was a total of 18 hours of labor, which took 4 weeks to take care of. I understand that inspection and parts had to be ordered and received, but this amount of time is extremely excessive. Other then warranty work to be done due to contract, I will not be returning to Farney!!!

I sold them my Toyota and had the worst experience doing that. I was in contact with Brandon, and when I wasnt sure if I wanted to sell to them he was very persistent and would call me often. As soon as I sold him the car and they owed me money I never heard from him again and couldnt get in contact with him again. I would not deal with them when it comes to selling them your car. Terrible service once they have your car.

Felt rushed through the contract signing process. Got home and realized I signed a contract I verbally did not agree on but was deceived and not fully explained and shown what I was signing. Although I was able to re-sign another contract with everything I agreed on I still had to go through the extra stress that was not necessary. Only gave 2 stars because it was the exact vehicle I was wanting to purchase bus would not recommend business with Fahrney to anyone I know.

Buyers and shoppers beware. We walked in last night and ready to buy at the advertised price. Well to our surprise there was a market adjustment, also known as we are gonna screw you without any lube. They raised the price by over 7k because the truck was in high demand. As far as I know there is no market adjustment premium option when you blue book your vehicle. Why cant dealers truly advertise the real price? We will never recommend Fahrney to our friends.

Let me start off by saying that I love the car we purchased. The salesman was nice enough, as youd expect from someone trying to make a sale, they will tell you whatever you want to hear. When it comes to pricing, transparency, and document signing, they are far from lacking. I came to Farnhey automotive versus any other dealership because, as most consumers do I was pricing vehicles online. The vehicle that I wanted was priced for 63K per their website, not a third party website, their website Fahrneybuickgmc.com Adam the sales representative who handles pricing, REFUSED to honor the price advertised, stating that they had no control over the pricing because a third party did their pricing! This is none other than false advertisement and phishing, and I have reported this the the better business bureau for FALSE advertisement, because till this second the same car is priced around that much. I have purchased two other cars from Honda (within the last year) and my mother a Lexus based on their online prices and without hesitation they honored those prices. My husband was in love with this car so with my hesitation we proceeded with the purchase. While signing papers to take this car home they did not tell me the trade in value of the car I was trading in, I had to ask, they did not tell me the interest rate I had to ask, they did not tell me the my monthly payment, again I had to ask. They were having us signing these legal documents without explaining what we are signing. Be as smart consumer and ask because they wont tell you.Ive had different experiences with Honda where they have explained everything in DETAIL and I knew exactly what I was getting into and felt no reserves. However while I was signing here I felt no transparency, as if they were hiding details of the transaction. We get the car home and are completely in love with it. The next day the man Eric, who has us sign papers asked us to verify income. This dealership let me walk off the lot with a $70K car without verifying income?! Youd think they verify that BEFORE and only speaks to their level of incompetence and thirst to make a sale. A few days later a light to my car thats 4 days old goes on, we call the service department and they are rude and seemingly unwilling to accommodate our schedule to resolve the issue. We took the car to another GMC certified dealership and they fixed is ASAP. I will NOT be buying another car from here and I dont think you should either.

After researching numerous GMC dealerships for a 2019 Yukon Denali - both online and through independent buying services, I chose to visit Fahrney Buick GMC. It was an excellent decision!The entire staff [sales, management, and finance personnel] was respectful, informative and patient for the duration of our negotiation...a very atypical and welcomed environment.This was especially true of Javier, the sales associate that I was so fortunate to have assist me! This personable, patient, hardworking, new father literally spent hours with me to ensure I found the exact vehicle I was looking for. Moreover, Javier took the time to answer my many questions about this new model-year Denalis capabilities and enhancements. Equally appreciated, on those few occasions when he needed to do some further checking, Javier got back to me shortly, either personally or by text message.Bottom line: I could not ask for a higher quality effort from any employee in most any profession.Thank you, Javier, and thank you, Fahrney GMC, for this rewarding buying experience.

5/28/21Took the pick up for transmission check up, mechanics/dealer had it for two days and they didnt do anything to it.I called for an update the second day, I was advised by Steve that tech had drove it and was not able to find anything wrong with it.After that update, I asked my wife to go pick it up. Once she arrived she noticed that the pick up was not in the lot, she was advised that tech Jessica was test driving it. My wife was told that before that day all the test drove they had done was around their car lot(very disappointed). Dont know how much test drove anyone can do around a car lot.Tech(Jessica) drove in and my wife took the pick up based on their advised that there was nothing wrong with it.My guess, they had not test drove the pick up before Jessica took it for a drive. Dont even know if Jessica was a real mechanic tech, she is not listed as a mechanic in their website.Thats my experience with your service!

This is the most disorganized dealership I have ever done business with. STAY away from this dealership! They had the car we wanted listed on their website, so I called to confirm that it was still available. The lady I spoke with was very nice and set me up with an appointment to meet a salesman at 5pm that evening. We drove from Visalia to view this car and when we arrive the salesmen was not available and no one had any idea about our appointment. We waited for about 25 minutes before another salesman helped us. He was very nice and I fell bad for him because everything else was not his fault. He went to locate the car for us I could not find it, they thought they sold it but it was still in the system. Then he found the car but another 20 minutes later couldnt find the key, when he finally found the key and took us to the car it was covered in dirt and apparently had been sitting for quite some time because it wouldnt start. He jumped the car and drove it up so my mom could look at it, she was set on this car. They offered us a really good deal so we ended up buying it anyways. By now its 9pm and dark, when we arrived we noticed a dent in the side. This should have been caught and pointed out when they washed the car to begin with. The next day we call they send out dent repair guy a day later who couldnt fix it. So we call again and now we have to drive back up so they can send it out to the body shop. We made an appointment for a few days later, when we arrive of course nothing is noted in the system so they are trying to figure it out. Luckily there was a man who over heard someone talking about our situation and knew who to talk to. On another note when we purchased the car they couldnt find the second key and was told they would find it and deliver it to us the next. We never heard anything from them. They finally called us a couple days later and said they found the key. So again we drive up to pick up the key which took them again 30 minutes to find. You would think that after all this inconvenience they would at least give my mom a complimentary oil change for her troubles, but no. Cant wait for our car to be out of the body shop and be done dealing with this dealership. I would have rated them 1 star, but the staff is at least nice even though they have to deal with this chaos.
