I ordered two pr. of progressive-lenses/glasses. One pair arrived fine, and Im satisfied with it. The 2nd pair in the order didnt get the premium lenses because it was semi-frame and I didnt need to pay the extra for a spare pair of glasses. When it arrived, you could see the prescription markings etched on the lenses. The excuse I was told was that all lenses are marked, but they dont show on the premium lenses. So, in other words, if you dont want symbols and numbers in your line of sight, you have to pay MORE for their more expensive lenses. I was obviously quite upset, particularly since Ive been a customer of theirs for almost 20 years - and they finally offered to pay the difference. I accepted just to resolve the issue, but then they put my order ON HOLD because I hadnt paid the difference!!! The manager told me hed processed it and it would go through fine.... and yet its delayed again. At this point, I only want to either get the glasses I was promised WITHOUT etchings in my view, OR give me a refund for that pair of glasses and the lenses. Im VERY disappointed. They lost a very loyal, longtime customer with their ATROCIOUS service and LYING TO ME. Ive never had any of the base priced lenses come with etchings before. They should just admit they didnt polish the lenses or something properly, OR they should disclose that you may have markings if you go with the base-priced lenses - and show pictures! Im still waiting for this to be resolved. **update** I was FINALLY issued a refund since they could NOT guarantee that lenses wouldnt come with markings on them. They refunded the cost of the frames and the lenses, but did deduct the cost of shipping insurance. Keep in mind - you cant opt out of shipping insurance, so they still managed to penalize me a bit. Never again, eyebuydirect! You lost my business, my familys business, and anyone who ever asks where I get my glasses from again.
Very pleased with my glasses. I only have single vision lenses, and with anti-glare the price was excellent. Other retail stores wanted twice the price and without anti-glare. I had a buy-one-get-one-free deal which was great. The virtual try on is helpful. The only thing was it took a little over a week to receive which is not bad but not that quick. I would definitely order glasses again online with this site, as long as you have the pupillary distance you’re all set. It’s much cheaper and for single vision prescriptions why pay more? They come in a cute reusable box and cloth pouch but you have to get a case separately.

My glasses are higher quality than expected. Price was excellent: 1/4 of the price of retail. The lenses are perfect. I will need to get them fitted around my ears but this is not a problem for me. I plan to buy an spare pair.
The process of virtually trying on, buying and getting the frames was very easy. The downside was that I had to spend a lot of time adjusting the temple tips to get them to stay on my face without sliding down my nose. I wish this company contracted with someone to help fit the frames once you purchase them. Depending on how durable these glasses are, I would likely buy here again.
I cant see out of the right side of the right lens. Unfortunately, I waited for my other pair of glasses from another company to see if it was just my prescription, and now its too late to return them. The frames are too big for my face, but they are super lightweight. Shipping was fast. Those last two things gained the third star from me.

Lots of cool styles. Decent prices until you add on a prescription. They didnt have an option for the sunglasses I got lenses to be darker, which was a bummer that you can clearly see my eyes through them. The shipping took wayyy too long in my opinion. They send the glasses in a cloth pouch, no case. If Im spending 80$ on glasses Id like them to at least have a case I can put them in.

After waiting two weeks, I had to have glasses made again due to Dr. error. Thank you for correcting. But then had to wait over 2 weeks to get correct glasses, so basically without glasses for a month. Had to call and request status, then I was elevated but still did not receive until after two weeks.

Inexpensive bifocal glasses that fit well and are crafted very well!! My only complaint is that it took almost a month from order placement to order delivery although the advertising claims 7-14 days. Not a BIG problem for me but others may take exception.
I got my order and I couldnt see with the glasses. I had made an error entering the prescription. I was helped politely, quickly, and efficiently. Once I fixed my prescription, they immediately started making my new glasses, before I had even shipped the others back! New ones arrived, and Im loving them. This was my first time purchasing prescription eyewear online. And I must say the representative at EyeBuyDirect were knowledgeable and very helpful.Besides having your prescription, its vital to have your the Pupil Distance (PD) measurements. When I ordered my glasses I only submitted my prescriptions which includes progressive. I thought that would suffice. Although when my glasses arrived I thought they looked amazing in style and fit, the clarity was somewhat blurred. I contacted my Optometrist for my PD and email the information when I returned my eyewear.After a few weeks of anticipation, I received my sunglasses and regular glasses which has perfect clarity. This website is a SCAM! I simply want to return my product, but they have no system for returns - they force you to either swap low quality glasses out for another pair, or tell you that youre on your own! Ive tried MULTIPLE pairs of their glasses now and they all fit like theyre made for children. I simply want a modern return policy where I can just send them back and receive a refund (I received them less than a week ago). Its just more cheap, overseas, mass-produced junk with this company - BUYER BEWARE. Youre better off just buying the cheap stuff on Amazon, getting fast shipping, and having a modern (normal?) return policy.
I went in to take advantage of the buy one get one special I think it was for $69. Well it was not really a special I spent $300 for two pair. But the staff was very professional and personable. The wait was about 3days after promised. I’m pleased with my glasses I need to have them tinted.

I bought some glasses with progressive lenses and you cannot even tell where the reading prescription is, if it is there are all. And the hinges are so stiff it feels like the sides will break. But here is the really bad part: I had been communicating with them about the problems but now, no answer for TWO WEEKS. They just stopped answering.

The frames are nice enough, but I ordered bifocals and the reading part is placed so high that I can’t see when I wear them. I’ve ordered many bifocals online from Zenni, in different types of frames, and never had a problem. I’m pretty disappointed, since I’m not able to wear these at all. I won’t order from EyeBuyDirect again.
I figured I should write this review since the only other one for them is so negative and Ive had several good experiences with ebd. Started ordering 2 years ago and now have ordered about 9 pairs of eyeglasses with them. You really cant beat the price, and although it usually takes 2 weeks to get your glasses, they now have a separate section of glasses that only take 2 days to manufacture and ship, which is pretty greatI only have ordered distance glasses, so Im not sure about the accuracy of bifocals. I know the prescriptions are correct b/c when I went to my eye doctor, he ran the lenses under his machine device contraption and it read them a the proper prescription. Honestly EBD is doing amazing work; no one should have to shell out hundreds of dollars just to be able to see
I ordered 2 pair of glasses; 1 was regular progressive bifocals, the other was sunglasses with the same prescription. I didnt qualify for the expedited shipping, but it was because I have a complicated prescription, so thats understandable. Shipping was delayed because of Columbus day, but I still got them before the estimated date.Overall, the ordering process was easier than Zenni and my glasses were about half the cost. I even got them faster than Zenni, even with the delay becauseoftheholiday. Ill definitely be ordering from EyeBuyDirect again.
Customer service is almost nonexistent. I understand that it’s an web-based company, but I emailed the day after I received my glasses to exchange a pair as they didn’t fit me properly. No reply. Shipping took forever and when I reached out for an update I couldn’t get through via phone and used a janky chat to get an answer. Great product, poor service

Ordered replacement frames with plain lenses because I accidentally sat on my glasses, bending the frames beyond repair, but the lenses were still pristine. It was a simple matter to swap my lenses into the replacement frames, which was less wasteful and expensive than buying new eyeglasses.

The shipping took what seemed like forever especially needing glasses so bad. When they finally arrived, they were very poor quality. One wasn’t even the pair I had ordered. And only had less than a month and one pair is broken and the second pair the arm is falling off
I love my new glasses. My favorite feature is that there is an intermediate viewing area for looking at a computer screen, not just the two parts, as with regular bifocals. The price was half of what I normally pay at a brick-and-mortar glasses shop.
I’m afraid I don’t have many positive things to say about EyeBuy Direct. I ordered prescription glasses, progressive lenses with the blue light filter. The glasses received did not have the blue light filter. I contacted EyeBuy Direct and was sent replacement glasses. Not only did the replacements not have the blue light filter, clear vision through the glasses was only possible in the straight forward view. View to either side is distorted and blurry. While customer service tried to help, the quality just isn’t there. I will not be able to use either of the glasses shipped to me, I suppose you get what you pay for.EyeBuy direct sent a shipping label to send my first pair of glasses to a charity, I think I’ll send both. They might be better than no glasses at all for someone in need.
Ordered bifocals. Gave full, accurate prescription numbers. Received (3 weeks later) glasses with 3.0 on bottom, and NO focal point what so ever on top. Not even the wrong prescription, just completely opaque, completely worthless. Now I am suppose to print out shipping label (I have no printer) and go to UPS to ship glasses back then email confirmation of shipping before getting a refund. Its Covid people I dont want to go anywhere I shouldnt have to. I didnt make a worthless pair of glasses and steal someones hard earned money! Dont waste your time with this company.

2023-10-16 19:52:41This frame got broken twice exactly on the same spot. First time the frame got broken in 3 months, they have replaced it with new glasses that got broken again in a month. Eyebuydirect sells very low quality frames...After your reply:I was on a phone with you, Eyebuydirect, for an hour trying replace with a new frame or return my funds, you have refused it. So, now youre worry after my negative review. Btw, I did warn you about placing negative comments on social media.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!11 days to process an order is unreasonable!USPS label was printed on 6 April. Wasnt delivered to USPS until 11 April.Wish I had used someone else.All I asked was that Eyebuy direct answer my email.Review of final product TBD.

2023-12-07 23:42:15If you are looking for great deals on glasses- especially frames with a lot of personality, as well as wanting to get more than 1 pair of frames at a time for low cost- this is your absolute go-to place! For almost 2 years I ordered multiple pairs of glasses, paid nowhere near what I would pay at a brick-n-mortar optical shop, and received so so so many compliments from strangers on my frames! Eyebuydirect gives you lots of coupons, there is a tier system where you earn points that apply to future purchases, and you even get specials for your birthday.Update December 2023: Another great experience with this company! The glasses I ordered- progressives- did not land good on my face and when I reached out to the company, they responded immediately, advised me these two pairs would be redone, AND they gave me a pre-paid label to mail the original pairs to a charity that Eye Buy Direct donates to! Kudos Kudos Kudos! LOVE THAT THEY DONATE!And yet another update in December 2023! Love how they read and respond to reviews, especially positive reviews as many companies will ignore the positive reviews and only respond to the really negative ones. I appreciate that this company acknowledges the time customers take to give kudos! So....yet another kudos to eyebuydirect!

2023-11-08 18:23:47Had received a coupon for 45% off when you spend $250. The coupon was applied to my order and showed it was applied but then when I input my credit card info and hit confirm purchase, my receipt showed the coupon not being applied. Contacted customer service, they assumed that i never put in the coupon code in. I showed a screenshot to which they had to honor the coupon, but the fact that you’re assuming customers are lying? Not good for business. Also, they cancelled my order that i paid an extra $19 for 2 day shipping which delayed since it was cancelled. So it just seems like a shady business to buy from. To have the coupon apply then disappear when i input the pay info. And then to have my order cancelled and then re-processed after I paid $19 extra for faster shipping to then have it be delayed. Just beware when shopping here, or don’t shop here at all and go to Zenni instead. Less of a hassle and cuter glasses.

2023-08-26 00:51:34I ordered my glasses online. Price was fine, they delivered very quickly, but both lenses are cut too small!The right lens pops out when I wanted to clean it no matter how tight the screws. It has been a hassle trying to put fillers on the lenses!!!

The one instance I had an issue with a pair of glasses I ordered they were more than eager to assist and correct the issue You can’t beat their prices either. I highly recommend them to everyone I know!

2022-11-19 16:47:14These are exceptional quality glasses for a reasonable price. Even more they are a company with exceptional customer service. I had my glasses ruined by a dog and called them. They picked up without a crazy automatic phone AI!! The agent had me take a picture and send it in and in minutes they had worked out a deal with me to get my glasses replaced. These guys are AMAZING at support! I would buy my glasses from them just for that. The quality of my glasses is amazing. I cant rave in strong enough language about these guys! Thank you EyeBuyDirect! I am beyond loyal!
