Finally an eye doctor that listens! Dr. Fong was patient with me and let me walk around the office with trial lenses before ordering glasses. The office staff is very nice and there is no hard sell to purchase glasses from them.

This is a small office that is professionally run with excellent staff. Everyone in this office is friendly, helpful, and prompt. I saw Dr. Yakub today and she has an excellent chair side manner; is friendly, informative, helpful, and efficient. I would highly recommend this office to anyone for quality eyecare.

I had a great experience here! Dr. Fong is kind and was super quick and efficient in figuring out my new prescription needs. The optometry staff were also all very friendly and helpful from beginning to end of my appointment. There are lots of different eye tests they do at the beginning and the tech was super helpful and nice about explaining how to complete each one. I appreciated the staff’s help in helping me pick out a new set of frames. I loved the individualized attention and I didn’t feel rushed at all while I was picking out my glasses and trying different ones on. It was quick and easy to schedule an appointment.

I love this place. Service is great. When you have your eye scanned the doctor explains everything to you. When choosing frames the team are great here too. They provide suggestions and pick some frames that you may like as well as you choosing some too. I have now being going here for 6 years and cannot recommend them enough. Same review 2 years later, still fantastic I just cannot praise them enough!!

Didn’t realize how much I had been missing out on a good eye doctor until I came here! They are very kind and knowledgeable. Better than that, this is the first time a doctor has LISTENED to me instead of assuming I’m stupid. In the past, my contacts have always been too strong, so he lowered them by a quarter just in case. Wow, what a difference! The contacts feel great and the prescription is perfect. I don’t typically write reviews, but I am impressed with this office. :)

I had an eye exam at Eye Care West today. From start to finish it was an outstanding experience. The staff is courteous and helpful. Great first experience!Office had the latest in eye vision testing, was offered a retinal photo for a small extra fee, doc seemed very knowledgeable and took his time, and the staff spent a good 30-45 minutes suggesting and giving me feedback on various frame and lens options based on what my insurance would cover. The staff here are knowledgable, kind and really care! Never have I had a doctor sit down with me for small talk, showing a genuine interest in me as a person! Never have I had a tech help me pick glasses. I told her what I was looking for, and she patiently waited while I tried on and asked for advice on all 20+ pairs she picked out! The woman photographing my eyes was also so sweet, positive and professional.Every staff member I interacted with was wonderful. Often you have a couple of shining stars in every office, but here all of the staff goes above and beyond.Getting my eyes checked was nerve wracking, but I had a truly pleasant experience here. I will always be a customer here.

Dr. Brian was incredible. I scratched my eye on a birthday card (from putting it in my purse corner out) while at my son’s birthday party. The office staff very graciously squeezed me in late on a Thursday afternoon. Dr. Brain did a thorough exam and confirmed the scratch, prescribed antibiotic drops and numbed my eye so he could put a contact lens in to help the eye heal. I made it back in time to sing happy birthday and watch my son blow out his candles. By the time the party was over, my prescription was ready. I am so grateful to Dr. Brian and his staff for very professional and kind treatment.

Dr. Sabrina Yakub was great! For the first time ever I feel like I’m actually getting the correct prescription for my glasses. The only thing I should have realized is that staff would have pointed me out to higher priced frames than what my insurance covers but yanno that’s kind of on me too! Love the frames I’m getting on both pairs of glasses and the staff were really great! If ur a new patient you can do your new patient paperwork online which I really liked. The office uses all the latest technology (that’s a plus too). It was just a great experience all the way around. You also know that they are cleaning and using proper Covid-19 protocols which for me is very important. For that I say “Well done and Thank you!”

I had a very good experience by visiting the Eye Care West Optometry OC.From the entrance door I felt the cleanles and the positive vibe of the place.The receptionist was very friendly and well prepared with all the documents needed.I did not need to wait even one minute to be escorted by a very friendly nurse to complete the preliminary test and I was impressed by all the latest and up to date equipments I have been through before I was guided to the exam room.Again in less than a minute dr. Fong, Carleton came to the exam room with the most friendly smile and greetings. He gave me the impression of a person who masters his profession but very humble on the same time.He started his thorough exam explaining patiently what is happening with comforting words.Finaly I was escorted to the nice young lady that helped me with a relaxed no rush attitude to pick my eyewear frame.Over all my experience in this clinic was awesome and I strongly recommend it.

I had a excellent experience for my first time here. First of all they have COVID protocols in place and things are wiped down so it feels very safe. I was greeted by the optometric assistant as soon as I walked in the door. I didnt catch her name, but she was friendly and very helpful. She clearly explained the forms I had to sign, insurance related stuff, and each of the tests/machines. This practice has very nice and up-to-date equipment/machines. They had some tests/machines that Ive never done/seen before at other optometry offices. My appointment was with Dr. Brian Fong and he was great. Sometimes its hard to tell between number 1 and number 2 (you know what i mean lol) but he was very patient and went back and forth and tested different prescriptions to make sure I got the correct prescription. He is also very knowledgeable and open to answering questions without being arrogant or condescending, unlike the previous optometrist I went to. He listened to my concerns about having dry eyes and made contact lens recommendations based on that. Overall, the whole examination and lens fitting process was very thorough. This was the best optometry visit Ive ever had. Completely satisfied with the care I received. Thank you!

I’ve been a patient at Eye Care West for a several years now and even though at one point I moved to Corona, I did not switch to a closer optometrist, because from the moment you walk in until you leave their staff and doctors are all about you. They keep up with the latest in eye care technology, are very knowledgeable answering all questions you may have, the staff is friendly and puntual, and they offer a huge variety of frames you can chose from at very affordable prices. My daughter broke her glasses. Dr. Fong and his team went above and beyond to accommodate her and keep her healthy. We text the office when we got to the parking lot. A staff member took her temperature and asked critical questions before entering the office. The staff also wore masks with shields and disinfected all equipment.The office takes extra precautions to keep their patients safe and my daughter came home with new replacement glasses that day!Eye Care West is a local FHR business worth supporting!

I took my 4 year old daughter in yesterday to get her a pair of prescription glasses. Front desk Miss Lupy was very friendly. Mr. Wesley took car of us with his professional expertise and a lot of patience. He helped us checked our insurance and found out only the parents are in the vision plan and my daughter is not covered. He contacted the insurance company for us to see if they could add her in our plan. He tried hard to help even thought its not his job to do this. He worked for my daughter to pick out her favorite frame measured the dimension, everything was perfect. I am really impressed, and I am very thankful that I found this Eye Care West on internet and decided to come here for my daughters prescription.
