Searched online last minute for a small storage space, and went in an hour before closing to confirm availability. Teresa was wonderful and so helpful— she answered all of my questions and made the renting process super quick and simple. Got in and out in less than half an hour, and got to see the unit as well. Thanks for the great service!!

Was looking for a space for my old records and papers found easy space to be very competitive in price and customers service is top notch. Went in prior to storing my stuff to make sure everything is set up and found Neil to be very helpful. Proven to be one of the best economical ways to store your goods for the Long haul.

Worst customer service experience! Rent storage space literally anywhere else. On Saturday, 2/3/24, I called the main line to rent a large 10x20 unit. The gentleman I spoke with was perfectly helpful. He asked when we could come down. I told him between 1:30 and 2:00 that same afternoon. He said he’d schedule our move-in then and to come on down. When we showed up just before 1:30, the office was locked. A couple was knocking on the door to avail despite the woman working being inside. I called in the office number I’d been given to let them know we’d arrived. The woman answered and immediately placed me on hold. After nine minutes on hold, my husband went to knock on the door but the woman ignored him refusing to come to the door. A couple minutes later she existed the building. My husband said hello and tried to ask her if they we were open and to let her know we’d spoken to her colleague on the phone who’d told us we could come check in at this time. She walked past him completely ignoring him. He repeated his question two more times, but she continued to refuse to even acknowledge he existed. She got into her car and sped. Fortunately my husband moved out of her way as it certainly didn’t appear as though she would be concerned if she ran into him. It’s pretty tough to say you work in the customer service industry if you refuse to even acknowledge your customers exist. As a direct result of our encounter with her, Extra Space lost a customer and Public Storage now has our business. Move in there went smoothly. I’d highly recommended using them or any other storage facility you chose over this one.

Was I lucky to get the best price on storage? I thought so, but now I think Extra Space Storage do compete highly effectively with its competition. I got the best price for storage that feels like a give away. No, not lucky at all.

Update: They added motion sensor lights in the interior hallways! They are so much better and a lot easier to use than the previous timer dial ones as they were always really hard for me to turn.Second update (06/28/2022): They posted no smoking signs on some of the buildings.Third update: (10/30/2022): Just finished sweeping out my unit and removed the lock in order to move out. Ive revised my original review a bit for clarity.Pros:* Location is clean.* I feel safe visiting my unit alone even at night.* You can use your own padlock style lock even if you are forced to purchase theirs because you reserved the unit online. You can get your money back by giving the lock back to the office staff onsite.Cons:* Rates can change monthly and become an unjustifiable expense fairly quick. I have had my unit for just over a year and right before the 1 year anniversary date, they raised rates again. The cost of my unit has literally almost DOUBLED in 12 months with no additional value provided by Extra Space aside from motion sensing lights.Move in: Unit = $56, Insurance = $14.20, Admin Fee = $253 months at: Unit = $56, Insurance = $14.209 months at: Unit = $88, Insurance = $14.201 month at: Unit = $102, Insurance = $14.20* You have to contact the location directly with questions by phone or in person, there is no help at the corporate level.* Access hours are 6 AM - 10 PM instead of 24/7.* Mobile app is only good for opening the gate, you cannot use it to manage your account or make a payment. It just opens a web browser for you if you do anything aside from open the gate.* Gate code is really long. Using the mobile app comes in handy if you dont visit your unit often enough to memorize the code.

Theresa is awesome, she knows her business and what shes doing. The facility is always clean and well maintained. Its a good place to keep stuff that has to be stored, there is a sense of safety, always. Yes I would use this place for storage again if I ever got all my stored belongs out.

AGAIN... the, Dynamic Duo, Jennifer and Jessica, have proved to be worthy recipients of, Employee Recognition Awards for promptly administering to me, (sudden crisis,) a comprehensive solution, and a very practical remedy to my particular storage needs. Definitely better than Public storage. Super nice personnel, that’s always there. You can call actual people if you have problems. Storage units are very well maintained and drive up access is easy. Edit: back again a year later and so far the same great service.
