My friend and I were on the hunt for a large storage unit. This place was our first stop. Manny was so kind and informative. He graciously showed us 2 different sized units (in the blaring heat of Palm Springs ... on the golf cart ). The second one was exactly what we needed. We signed right then and there and didnt look anywhere else. When you have exceptional staff, great price, and a perfect location why look anywhere else!!

Great storage options here and I found competitive prices for all sizes of units. The manager, Emmanuel, was patient and helpful when we were shopping for storage and trying to figure out what we really needed. We booked online after hours and the unit was clean and ready when we arrived the next morning. We looked at some other options but came back to this extra space due to Emmanuel’s willingness to be helpful and he has been awesome ever since! PS-Gate access by the phone app is a breeze!

Misplaced my keys.. I knew who to call. Emmanuel maintains a friendly, professional demeanor and a positive attitude. In person, Ive seen him handle difficult customers gracefully.The facility offers a variety of storage space sizes at a convenient location and are a good value. I have been a Extra Space Storage user for several several decades. The Extra Space storage in Executive Drive in Palm Springs is by far my favorite. What i enjoy about this particular property all has to do with the manager and his wife, how they work as a team and go out of their way to welcome people, stopping in while making their rounds and just chat. A genuine kindness and willingness to help you with your storage needs Then. you start meeting i other tenants and before you know it you are pert of a small community People will generally get to know you and treat you well, kindness, and respect. People making friends, doing business together, supporting each other. A attitude fostered by the manager The manager and his wife have a true open door policy, grab an ice cream together and just be real. Tell me the last time you were treated as one of the team, another member of our community, a place to be real.and know they hit your back, you don’t find that in business anymore, but ya can here. Come and join us, you too will be welcomed into a place where you can store your stuff and make new peeps and yes we got you covered.

Im always pleased when I go here. What I like most is the site manager remembered me from 3 years ago and may have a better chance of detecting if someone other than myself accesses my unit, I feel confident that he will investigate if he notices anything inconsistent.

If you arent a member of this facility they are not going to allow you in and you better believe that somebody is there at that front desk six days a week with the door wide open and they know everybody that goes in and out of that storage facility cameras are all working and some of the facilities even have electricity for all those people that have to pack and move at night like myself love love love this storage place highly highly recommended

I have a storage there since yesterday. Love it. Very convenient. I can drive my car right in front of it and the app allows me to open the main entrance without the code. It’s very Clean and the guy at the entrance was very nice. He helped me with a mattress. Definitely recommend it.

There’s a lot to like about this Extra Space Storage facility. The app makes entry and exit through the security gate very easy and convenient. The manager and staff were very helpful, personable and accommodating. My only concern was the extremely dusty conditions due to being right next to the desert. I should note that the manager disclosed that to me when I initially rented the space. That said, I definitely would recommend this facility to others.

Used this company for the past 5 yrs. My experience was good checking in and excellent in checking out. I spike to the current manager Emmanuel Martinez and he set up the closing while I was in the office. I vacated the unit and came back 2 days later to sweep it out and he had already done. That was an extra effort and I appreciate it.Definitely would do again.

Emmanuel at extra space is great. Hes very personable. Remembers your name and is professional. Extra space as a business on the other hand is way overpriced. I was paying 293$ for a 6 x 20ft. Other places were half that. One can argue market rate but I dont think thats correct given the amount of space available in Palm springs. Shop around first.

Great service from start to finish! The gentleman who helped us was welcoming, friendly and gave us all the information we needed. As we weren’t sure which size unit to get, he was kind enough to take us on the golf cart to show us a couple of options, one of which had just become available and was more than perfect. The terms were explained thoroughly and the whole experience was a breeze, including the use of their app which allows you to easily enter and exit the facility, rather than have to punch in your passcode each time.

Several years have passed since I made the decision to economize and save my pennies to buy a new home. This required a temporary but drastic downsizing of my living situation, so into a small apartment I went... And into storage went my stuff. I chose Extra Space Storage mainly because of its proximity to my apartment, but also because their rates were competitive - better than the other storage places I compared online. The move-in went smoothly, and I even got the first month free. It gets even better. The office doubles as a store, filled with a variety of moving supplies. The friendly staff provide help and assistance and offer suggestions and solutions to all things Storage. Emanuel is the manager and go-to person, warm, knowledgeable and ready to help. The facility is spotless and well maintained. In the roughly 5 years, I have been utilizing the facility, the entire place has been repainted - actually twice on the metal roll up doors which secure each storage unit. During regular business hours, employees are readily available, and consistently make rounds in a golf cart, monitoring the premises. I know I made a good decision hands down, and it still remains a good deal.

No Im not enjoying Extra Space Storage my first encounter within the day I moved my belongings in was they were supposed to supply two brand new locks for my unit which had two doors to it they never supply them they said they were inside the unit the place closes at 10:00 p.m. I was looking for the locks asked where the locks were they still insisted they left them inside the unit which they never did so I had to look for my locks so by the time I found them it was 10:05 p.m. and I was being picked up by a friend he threatened to call the police on my friend and told him to leave the property then started screaming profanity at me and I explained I had to find my locks because he never left any,, he as in the manager. The second encounter with the manager hes walking through doing lock checks apparently tells us we cant use the electricity thats in the unit already and I just have my cell phone plugged in and charging so I tell him no problem and I unplug it. So the third time I show up at my unit theres a note on my door saying that I have been evicted and I need to be out by the 19th of April. The next encounter I have Im working on the unit condensing everything to get ready to move my stuff out and he tells me I cannot have the door shut to my unit I said thats fine I open the door and it swings shut on itself right in front of him, so he tells me to block it open. I take a load to a new storage facility and come back to find that Im locked out of my unit saying that I owe another $113 now Grant you I have been in this unit for only 3 weeks the money already cleared from my account or else I would have never been allowed in the unit in the first place! They are shady theyre trying to steal my property I have tools in there I have personal belongings, these people are nothing but thieves and liars, I called corporate, corporate never called me back like they said they would never have taken care of anything I will never ever do business with this place again. I was a good tenant never made noise, never left a mess, never made a mess when I was there, minded my own business, took care of things I needed to take care of, there was absolutely no reason whatsoever for me to be treated the way I was treated by this place! Horrible customer service. Horrible business practices. If I could leave negative stars I would, the manager needs to be fired period. First time on the property I was met with profanity ( every other word ) and it was there error not mine!

I gave 5 stars when I first came into the storage. Just so two months later I get blamed for storage next to me getting broken into just because he trying to save his own behind for lack on his end of doing his daily checks . I know manny doesn’t do his checks because my father in laws ex gf is parked outside of there lot most of the day and all night she has never seen him do his checks. Also he because I was the last one there the night before and literally I was there for “four minutes “ coming from his mouth I had enough time to unload my stuff unlock my storage put stuff in storage go back out grab some more stuff n lock the storage room and also break into the one next to mine and take there stuff too . With? I left without anything. In my hands and I asked him the following day to go check my storage with me and he said no I showed him how much money I have in the back and I have no need to steal from your storage . And he said that’s what I am still investigating . I am angry and I want nothing to do with this place manny doesn’t take care of your stuff and I have a feeling he breaks into the storages because the walls look like they get dismantled everyday . There’s always chips of the walls on the floor . Etc i asked for corporate number he refused to give it to me so I just wanna warn everyone to be careful. Manny is a fake person who is trying to blame an innocent person for someone else’s wrong doing for his own failure in checking the units daily like he claims.

Very unhappy since day one. Moved in November 15th or so. Needed a 10x20 to store a car. Rented a unit for over $350.00. (Don’t remember the exact amount). My vehicle did not fit. What they rented me was not 20 feet deep. My vehicle extended more than a foot. I wasn’t refunded my money. I moved it to a different facility but did rent a small unit to store about 10-15 boxes. They quoted me a price that was about $150.00 a month for a much larger unit than I needed. On March 1st, I received an email that stated my rate has increased to $250.00. No warning, no notice. They just took the money from my account. I decided to move to another facility. Found one for $100.00 a month. When I went back to Extra Space Storage, they didn’t even ask me why I’m moving, they took me off auto pay and told me that once I leave them my google review, they would move me out. No refund, no nothing. I would stay clear of extra space facilities from here on out. Sorry, but this has been our experience. I’m not happy with this company and wouldn’t go back.

I have forgot to make a payment here recently and I was 14 days past instead of locking me out and cleaning out the unit i had received something by mail letting me know. What a great guy with exceptional customer service. I explained my unusual circumstances and he felt my needs would be better served at another facility. Both Johnny and Marco at Extra Space Storage were extremely helpful. When I called initially, I wasn’t sure what size unit I needed. Instead of renting me the larger unit I asked for, Johnny directed me to a different Extra Space Storage location nearby which actually had the smaller size I needed. This saved me a lot of money. Once on site, Marco helped me find the best size unit for my items at a great price. Marco was very friendly and showed great customer service skills as well as efficiency. I also received a follow up call from Johnny, the initial person I spoke with, to ensure I had found what I needed. The customer service I received from start to finish was excellent. It was great to interact with a customer service team that was so patient and positive. It’s rare to encounter people who actually try to help you get what you need rather than just trying to push the most expensive service that they can. I would definitely use Extra Space Storage again.

In January my rent doubled --- in one month. I thought that I had inadvertanly missed a payment, but no, the price exactly doubled. This caused me to question why I am keeping stuff that I rarely use in paid storage. I could have bought my Xmas decorations several times over on what I have been paying for storage over the last 3 years. I’m being generous because the staff was the only ok thing there and I barely spoke with them. There are transients that live in a community right next to the place. I’ve seen people on the day I moved in, jump the fence back and forth, in and out. When I started in January 2022, with insurance and everything I was paying around $109. By end of April they bumped it up to $156 without much of a notice. I’ve never heard of a 5 x 6 jumping rates SO MUCH!!! Then after being forced to pay or get out within 10 days,I moved out by the end of may. When I got to my storage there was a bigger cockroach on one of my boxes and two or three small ones (which means there’s an infestation in the building) on top of my vacuum sealed clothing bags. I would not recommend this place!

Lanes between storage a little narrow so if you have a U-haul, 26 foot might be too big. Good locking mechanism that makes breaking and entering very difficult. Overall solid experience.

I was recently in need of a small storage unit and found the rates here to be perfect. They were the cheapest in the valley. I went to take a tour and see if I liked it or not but was worried as I was cutting it close to their closing time. A little bit after I made the appointment I got a call from the storage facility and the gentleman asked if I was coming in and if I needed directions. I told him no I had GPS but was worried about their closing time. He said not to worry he would be there waiting for me.I got to the storage facility which was easy to locate and had parking right up front. The parking lot was clean as well as the office. I walked inside and was greeted by a very nice gentleman. He confirmed who I was and then took my information before asking me to go see the unit. He gave me a tour of the facility and storage unit which was exactly what I needed. Afterwards we went back and finished all of the paperwork. He was very helpful and friendly and I was grateful that he was not rushed by me showing up late or near closing time.I even forgot to set up direct pay and asked if we could go back in and do that and he said yes not a problem. We got that set up and I was on my way.The experience was great and I recommend this storage location to anyone in the area who needs a place to put their stuff.
