I rent my unit at Perry Ave. My experience here is very satisfied. After a couple of months renting a 10x10 I needed to downgrade to a 5x10. I went in and I met Ramona. She is awesome. Shes very professional with great customer service. Shes very patient and listen to all my needs. She was able to help me secure a 5x10 while they needed to repair the sidewall 1st. After finally moving into my 5x10, I was also experiencing latch problem and it just wont latch properly. She helped fix the problem immediately. I will totally recommend her again. Thanks! So much Ramona. 😊💗

As many have to do, my wife and I were priced out of the previous Public Storage unit and we saw a deal on a 10x10. I had my own circular lock, but the guy said that they are phasing them out. I said that over the phone I was told that they could do both, but he corrected me and I had to buy a cylinder lock. Well, when we got to the unit, it was plain to see that the 10 x 10 was about a 9 x 9 maybe 🤔, and after we got everything into the unit the lock was also able to accommodate my original circular lock, so I spent 20 dollars on an extra cylinder lock that I didnt need. I guess I will do this again next year.

My family just recently went here to try to pay a bill sat there for over an hour blowing up their phone office was wide open nobody ever answered the phone. My family had to leave. They did not have that kind of time to just sit and wait for somebody to show up not to mention, there’s mouse feces all through the unit

First I would like to say that the service that I received at this particular location was extremely kind, professional and efficient. I cannot remember the manager’s name who oversees the property but she was nothing but helpful. Unfortunately that is where the niceties begin and end. This particular location is an a very unsavory part of town and immediately adjacent to the property is what amounts to a homeless encampment. Also there are at least two or three persons who park and live in their car and out of their rented storage space in this facility which creates a very suspect environment. I am actually storing a very valuable piece of equipment in my storage locker and to have this environment makes me extremely nervous about its security. I would like to reiterate that this is in no way the fault of the manager of this particular facility who was nothing but professional and courteous but I would encourage anyone with any valuables to store in a secure location to search somewhere else.

I will never go here again look over your paperwork and also take a photo of your contract that’s on their computer before they submit it. I got a storage on the 5th went the following month on same day and I was charged a late fee and was told I got my storage on the 1st. In stead of being helpful to help fix this matter or atleast have me walking away like ok it was an honest mistake on their part, Danielle was rude and didn’t have the same attitude as she did when I got the storage with her. I will not recommend this place. I’d give no stars if I had the option.

I chose Extra Space storage because of its high reviews, but when I got to paying there were a few hidden fees that were not mentioned in my online quote. I got a half-off first month 10x10 unit that said it cost $64. Half of that is $32, plus an administrative fee and taxes my quote was around $60. Once I got to the office to finalize my reservation I was told there was a mandatory insurance of $13 and that the unit I reserved was actually two 5x10 units and since I only had one lock, I needed to buy a second one (and was of course recommended the most expensive one in the store which I declined.)All in all I paid $84 for a $64 unit that was marked Half-off. I would have liked to know about the mandatory insurance when I was shopping for quotes so I knew more of what to expect when it came time to pay.Other than the surprises, the service was convenient and worked well with my schedule, I had easy drive-up access and none of my things got stolen. I was a bit worried as a few of the units around mine had clearly been forcibly broken into and had the latches replaced previously.As for when it came time to cancel my unit, I called the current customer phone line a total of 4 times over 2 days without having my call answered, I left a message and no one returned my call. I then called the new customer line and was promptly answered, clearly the focus is to get as many customers as possible, but not to maintain them.Extra Space Storage served their purpose, but I will be looking at other storage companies next time I have the need.

Nice folks, very helpful and took me when I walked in right before they closed.When I closed out my unit and settled the account, the system charged me automatically a day later for a full month, and when I called them prepared to fight for a refund, I found out that the wonderful associate, Clarrissa I believe, had already noticed and refunded the money to me. It was such a pleasant exchange with no hassles that I will absolutely be going to ExtraSpace in the future for any storage needs that I have.

Ive had storage there for 4 years now, my possessions have been safe, but the price has gone up continually. I started at $49 dollars a month and I am now being charged $132 dollars a month. I have a 5 X10 unit. They have had no problems associated with me but raise my rent another $10 to $20 dollars every three months. I dont understand their logic but will be moving out soon since the lady who was working there was promoted and went to another location. I stayed because I enjoyed talking with her. The owners of these properties must be really greedy, since the overhead has remained almost the same for them.

When it came time and I needed to put my stuff in storage, there was no question where I would go. I had checked out this site before and was very impressed with the staff and facility. Not only was the process easy, the staff took their time and answered all my questions. I very rarely write reviews but this site and company deserve some recognition for how I was treated. The walls of my storage unit at this facility looked like a cardboard version of drywall. Someone had apparently put a hole in the wall and a piece of wood was screwed in over the drywall, so overall I wasnt sure how secure the place was because I felt like someone could just put a hole in the wall from an adjacent unit and take my stuff out. Happily, that fear did not come true, After many months of my going in & out multiple times, it came time for me to give up the unit. When I went to get my things out of the unit, my stuff was covered in rat pee & poop! There had never been any signs of rats prior to that. I had things that I was planning on selling which had to be put in the trash. This made it take longer to removed my stuff, as I had to go through everything to make sure I was not taking a rat back to my home. They did let me dump some larger items in their dumpster, due to the rat problem. The staff at the facility was always very nice. I have not complaints about the workers or any interactions with the company. Just know that the critters can travel from unit to unit, so you may want to include some type of rodent deterrent when storing your items here.

It was one of the cleanest storage places I have ever seen. The manager was super friendly and really nice. She explained the entire process to me and was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone!

I dont like what happened with the one worker Christie she walks around that storage like she owns it she has the biggest A. On her chest she tried to say something that happened at the storage and that me or my brother did something and told my wife that she was the one that could come on the property when I know that we didnt do what it was but she told my brother that we were not able to go on the property and that was that so he asked her if she knows that it was one of us and i have had the unit for three years and never missed a payment so I will be getting my things out of their for one thing because they are not clean thay have nice and rats eating up my things and she was told and didnt do anything and their until are to much for a 10- by 10 is 220 a month when I getting a 10 by 15 for less than that.
