I rented a pretty large locker at Extra Space Storage in Santa Monica for many years.over that time, it was a perfect experience…The facilities were kept very clean…The staff was knowledgeable and helpful.I never had a thought about Security… As it was extremely safe…I would highly recommend this facilityJeremiah samuels

I’m not one to usually give reviews (especially for a storage place) but Terri and everyone at Extra Space Storage on Cloverfield manage/operate such an incredible facility that I had to finally say something. Bottom line, I’ve been a customer for many years and they continue to over-deliver on everything — from cleanliness (absolutely spotless), hours open to customer service, price, etc. I go out of my way to continue to rent a space here (there are closer places for me) but they are just easy, secure and the best. Kudos to everyone there. I very much appreciate all the effort.

I very rarely do reviews. Only when theyre completely incompetent or when theyre superb. Fortunately for ExtraSpace you hired one of the sharpest and personable managers when you hired Teri. Im sure you know that already and are treating her like a queen.I know because Im inveterate traveler and Ive used public storage and U-Haul several times and I tell you this is my fourth experience in a row with ExtraSpace and I know Im in good hands. Ive been to two other locations and both of them were very good as well but when Im in Los Angeles I go out of my way to use this location. Terry and her staff are the reason.

Love this place! Im paying a bit more for the Westside location but for me theres no comparison. Terri, the Manager, is a super nice individual with awesome customer support skills. She runs a tight ship and that gives me confidence in my choice of off-site storage. Clean, modern facility with great security (they do regular walkthroughs everyday). Plus they give me a little senior discount, which is a very nice gesture. I highly recommend this particular location and manager. It is simply the best, par excellence!

The team at Extra Space Storage in Santa Monica have been so incredibly helpful upon my move into my unit. Want to give a shoutout to David - who has gone above and beyond with his customer service. He went out of his way to assist with deliveries - helping us load and transport several boxes to our unit. One of our vehicles had a dead battery and David jumped in to help jumpstart our vehicle. I had a great experience with the Extra Space Storage at cloverfield blvd, Santa Monica. I booked a space online and went to the office to check-in. The Manager Terri was very helpful when I discovered that the space I rented was unsuitable for my requirements.She showed me multiple spaces until we found the one that works best for me. She credited my payment towards my new space and even offered me a choice of different locks. She made the move-in experience quite smooth and easy.This location is clean, secure and well maintained. It is near Santa Monica Water Garden, Metro Expo line station at 26th Street, and the expo bike paths.Overall, 5 stars for this location and the manager.

Our experience was good. We were welcomed, and the attendants were very nice,and helpful. There were other clients there and they knew them by name. They gave us a tour of the facility, as well as a tour of the units so we could be sure if the size storage we needed. They were great. The storage rental is a bit expensive and that would be my only gripe.

I don’t recommend. Rented here for almost two years. The price gouging and lack of customer concern was disappointing in my experience. They offer the first month free which is helpful in a pinch. But you loose so much money between late fees, lean fees, and the increase on monthly fees. The late fees increase each time the monthly fees increase and it’s already over priced. I’m now paying almost half the price of ES for a larger space at the same type of facility. Don’t rent with Extra Space. Unless you plan on loosing a lot of EXTRA MONEY. I will say the facility is clean and some of the staff (Brittany and Terry) have been extremely professional.

DISGUSTING, SHAMEFUL, AND NASTY treatment of my son by the ESS team. After an error on the part of their staff that overcharged him 3 times for a monthly fee, it took weeks for him to get a refund, and once he did an additional mistake was made by them which cause them to lock him out of the unit WHICH WAS PAID FOR. After attempting to get contact from their district manager, Kim Wetzel, he was ignored and no one ever reached out. Do not do business with them, ever!!!!

ExtraSpace on Cloverfield is convenient for my Business storage.The staff is helpful and the space is well kept however Im more comfortable since the security guard is on the premises due to the break ins. Im also shocked my rent increased over $100 after 4 months on each storage units, I moved out of my 1 unit and keeping the other for now.

She not only made the process easy, but you can see how much care she puts into running the facility. Unfortunately, this was not a positive experience for me.The rate the manager had offered me, while choosing my unit on site & in person, changed 3 months after move-in by over 30%. She did not mention to me that it was a temporary rental rate. The timing of the monthly rate increase (conveniently after spending time & money to move all my stuff into the unit) felt like a classic “bait & switch”. Also, they significantly reduced the access availability times each day to business hours only (no after hours morning/evening/holiday/etc.)Yet no concessions were made to current lease holders for this major change. Three (3) months after the rate increase and access restrictions, I made the frustrating and still-burdensome decision to vacate the unit.

Terri chose them very carefully so they were in close proximity to each other. Which I so appreciated! The building and parking lot is impeccably maintained. A+ cleanliness. The office staff is always very friendly and helpful. My project just wound down to the need for only one long-term storage unit. So I have let the other three go. This is a VERY well maintained property. I feel very safe leaving my things here and each unit is cleaned out after every single use. Terri the store manager is seriously the nicest person I have ever dealt with. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Ive had many storage units in the past. This location is by far the cleanest and best customer service I have ever experienced. Terri the store manager is really friendly and helpful. Most storage facilities I have used are cramped, run down, dirty and depressing. This location is the polar opposite. Clean, open and well maintained. Lots of parking and flat load in door area. So no ramps to just get into the building. I can not recommend them enough.

I needed storage (safe and clean) quickly in Santa Monica today for some left over things that didnt make the office move. I found an amazing Task Rabbit mover and called Extra Space. I worked with Christian (who was patient and wonderful) on the phone and he hooked me up immediately with a unit and stayed on the phone with me. Within fifteen minutes, I signed papers via email, had a text sent to me with my gate code and unit number and was inside. The lock was inside the unit waiting for me. Later in the day, the Manager, Terry, called me to check in on my experience and to note that she walked by the unit to make sure it was all ok. Really, this business is wonderful. I have used a few storage areas around and they feel unsafe and dark. Thanks Extra Space!

The building exterior, as much as the has a clean look to it, unlike many storage companies the warehouse district. To us: CLEAN is good.The next morning, I dropped by to see if they had any small storage rooms available.As I entered the lobby, the person in charge also surfaced from the private back area.We each met with a smile.I related I wanted to rent a small unit for a few months.She said, “I have an idea. You are going to love the room I will show you. Come with me.” A personal tour? Sure.For what must be their smallest, lowest-cost, little-but-immaculate space: Terri closed up the office and accompanied me nearby to the perfect space for my cartons.Most businesses will give you a map and suggest that YOU go find what you’re looking for!She repeated the couple turns we’d made, suggesting that writing them down was the easy way never to get lost in the long-but-well-lighted hallways.I was being treated and regarded as if I were the billionaire, paying $5,000a month storage rent—instead of a fraction of that.The woman there, recalling her name as Terri, greeted me with a smile, locked up the office, personally walked me to the projected storage room she had selected, and made it special. I had an unfortunate accident where I was attacked and robbed and ended up in the hospital for a few weeks and my locker payment got declined due to the people taking all my thing and spending all the money in my debit card. I am so impressed with Extra Space Storage. I had to rent a unit to store product for my job. They have gone above and beyond their duties to help me with deliveries and handling the product. Every time I go in, I feel very welcomed. Jessica, the manager, is such a delight and has helped me so much. I live on the other side of town but have decided to keep the product there because I know I wont find another space thats so helpful. Thank you!

Super Clean! In fact, it smells like a hospital. Staff very courteous and friendly. Kenya and Myra we’re both SUPER helpful and very cool. Individual units are alarmed and cameras everywhere to mitigate theft.Its a little frustrating that all unit sizes are approximate .. so you can’t be totally sure your stuff will fit until you actually get there and measure stuff.First time renting space here so we’ll see how it goes but so far so good!

I’ve never had a better experience at a storage facility than with JJ at Extra Space. He helped me load all my stuff into my unit, showing me how the facility worked and waking me to the unit. He also has a jovial personality and can do attitude. I am very happy with choosing extra space.

The friendly staff will walk you through the need-to-know details and answer any and all questions. The wonderfully convenient location on Cloverfield makes it so easy to pop in, my space really feels like an extension of home storage.

I have had to deal with many storage places in my life. Especially moving to new cities for work and school. I have never had such a great experience as I have had at Extra space in Santa Monica at cloverfield.Jessica has been awesome in accommodating, especially with the hectic ness of moving and storing items literally on the daily and weekly.Highly recommend them.

Ive had several storage units in CA and NV, and Extra Space on Cloverfield is by far the best. It is modern, clean, and secure. The lot has plenty of space for moving trucks. Ive had an 18 wheeler pull up to drop off a shipment and it was no problem at all. Ive never had any rate increases, and since the location is in SM, there is no need for climate controlled units unless you are storing frozen goods. The place is constructed out of concrete and steel, so everything stays cool year round. Definitely ask about their AAA membership savings, as it pays to become a member just for the discount you can get here.

The customer service here is excellent and friendly. I was called moments after making my reservation and they were helpful with answering my questions as to what I needed during the tour. Also the location is quiet, clean and drama free, the building inside is spotless and the neighborhood is pretty safe. Recommended.

The stellar customer service at Extra Space on Cloverfield was apparent from the parking lot. I pulled up and Jessica came out to greet me and open the door for me. I have been using this specific extra space location (1707 Cloverfield) for many many years now. The reason I this use this specific Extra Space is not just because of its cleanliness, security, and pleasant environment but because of its staff. Jessica and Roy who run this location are not just extremely professional, accommodating, and on top of their game but are also super personable, friendly, and nice.
