I have to say I was surprised by the service here. I rented the unit online. When we arrived Amy greeted us and helped us get set up. It was good to know that she keeps an eye on who is coming and going. It made me feel more secure about leaving our possessions in storage. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent here.

Extra Space pace Storage was surprisingly easy from the moment we reserved our storage unit, to the time that we emptied it out. The store manager, Amy was delightful, knowledgeable and always there when we needed her. This may sound weird, but we will miss her after moving out. I highly recommend, Extra Space Storage as your go-to safe place to store your belongings.

At first glance when you look at this place online you see nothing but 5 star reviews. You’ll probably think to yourself this is gotta be fake or paid reviews. But when you get past all of the skepticism and actually make your way to this business you will find probably the best customer service you can think of. The store manager there Amy is extremely outgoing and friendly. To top it off the knowledge and skill she has as an employee of this company. Makes you both comfortable and confident in your choice to do business there. It’s hard to go wrong with this location because of Amy she clearly runs a right ship. With the impression she gave me each and every one of them is hard earned.

Had a really great experience at this extra space storage location. Amy the store manager was really helpful and made the renting process go smoothly.I felt my things were extra safe when I went later in the night and was putting things in my storage unit and I was making some noise and the store manager who lives on site came down to check things out and make sure there wasn’t someone trying to break in into any of the units. The location is also really clean and compared to other places I’ve been to it’s well taken care of. Would highly recommend coming to this extra space storage location.

I usually do not post feed back about my business experience but this one is an exception. I had been asked to demobilize one of my office locations on short notice so I found Extra Space on line close to my residence, very convenient, as well as the rental agreement process. After I had completed that process I received a call from Amy the facility manager, she was very professional and polite helped me through a couple of issues with the application that I had made, to make sure everything was in order before my arrival planned for that afternoon. We had a great experience with Amy and Steve ! After a quick phone call with Amy (information) she was alert and ready for our appointment date/time which then lead us to meet Steve, who did a wonderful job at giving us a quick tour. Recommendations were given too, on security and insurance plans. Everything was explained very thorough. Steve was able to guide us through the access code and elevator to ensure entering and exiting tasks were done correctly. Great job to the staff at this location I definitely feel secure!

I cant say enough positive things about the outstanding support received from Amy at the East Extra Space location. My mother was moving up to San Jose and with uncertainty about the actual date. Amy made the entire experience an actual pleasant one (and with a move, that is a high compliment!). She was also helpful with the selection process and is always pleasant when we bump into her at the facility. Steve also was an excellent backup when Amy was busy. Ive rented from several storage facilities over the years and this one is the BEST and Amy is definitely a keeper!!!

I worked with Amy (the General Manager) today to get all set up with a storage unit. I went with a 10x10 unit, which was super affordable. The whole process today took less than 20 minutes and Amy was incredibly sweet and helpful. She made the process easy and answered all my questions. She then took the time to walk me to my unit so it was easier for me to find.Overall great experience and affordable storage unit!

It’s rare to run into someone with such a positive attitude when you are in the moving process, so she definitely made my day! Facility is clean, love that they make access to carts much easier than other storage facilities. Very happy with my choice of this location!!Update since I’ve moved out—still the same five star service! Amy is wonderful to work with and always is so helpful. Usually when you tell a company you’re leaving, the customer service goes down but not with them. Would recommend this location to anyone! I only left because I was moving out of the area.

Im changing my review from 5 to 2 stars because even though the facility is clean and safe, they have more than doubled the price for my unit since I first moved in. Originally I was paying around $150 and now theyre charging $330. Its also true they dont send an email, or a text, or call (even though they have all that information). They send ONE notice in the mail about the price change, and hope you dont notice. Theyve raised the price twice in 2022.The staff are helpful and nice, but honestly this price gouging is having me 100% thinking about just moving my stuff out of there. If you want something with consistent price, dont do business here.

My husband and I decided last week that we should get a storage unit so on Saturday afternoon 12/28 I did some research and found Extra Space Storage on 187 E. Sunnyoaks. I reserved the unit online and received a phone call from Amy a short while after I placed the reservation. I was so impressed with her reaching out to me and discussing the process. We met with Steve this morning and toured the facility and the unit Amy reserved for us and decided the unit Amy reserved for us was perfect for our needs! My husband and I are very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the great customer service provided by Amy and Steve. They made the process simple and made us feel valued! The location is also very convenient and perfect for us! We will gladly recommend them to our friends and family for their storage needs.

Just started my rental today. Amy and Steve and Josh were all friendly and easy to work. Amy the property manager is especially enjoyable to talk with. I like her no-nonsense approach. The building appears secure and well maintained. The location off of San Tomas is convenient for me.Was a little surprised that the website doesnt more obviously mention the required insurance, and the monthly rates for that, but that may have been a failure on my part for not doing more research on the site prior to, and thats not the fault of the folks here at this location, so Im not letting that affect this rating.

I was member of this Extra Space Storage facility since 2015 and the only reason I no longer have my unit with them is because I am moving to another state. I looked at a lot of storage units before choosing this location, this was by far one of the cleanest and nicest looking facilities in the South Bay. The best part about the location is the manager Amy and her staff as theyre incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. It always made me smile that they would wave through the office windows when they saw me coming or going.

The storage units are indoors and I love that the building entrance is a sliding auto door, which makes it easier to push in a cart. I like the fact that the manager stays above the facility for that extra touch of personal security.Recently I had to upgrade my storage unit to a larger size and had the pleasure of working with Ms. Amy Pope this time around. I found out that Amy is also the person who lives above and is very knowledgeable of most renters and is very observant of who comes and goes into the facility. Ive had my things in storage at this facility for five or six years and its been a comfort to know that all my stuff has been safe and secure. Amy, the manager, is competent, courteous and professional. I appreciate that she is knowledgeable and helpful to her tenants. I have only two complaints: the company raised my rent several times to a level which I find to be unreasonable. The other thing is that terrible music blasted through the building that is quite distracting and annoying while moving material in and out of my unit.

My experience was very positive although I have only been here for a couple days. U can definitively report that so far, the staff has been both accomodating and friendly. I just came from Public Storage and the differences between the two are tremendous. Not only does Extra Space Storage provide alarms for each unit, it also offers cleaner facilities and camera surveillance in the hallways. No complaints here and I am happy with the upgrade in space. My unit size tripled from that of Public Storage, while the monthly rate increased by only $30. Ask for Anne at the front desk because she adds a bright spot to the building by making the process easy, and enjoyable.

This is a customer service story. Earlier today I was at Public Storage trying to negotiate a better price on my storage unit. I was told it couldn’t be done. I have been with that company for 19 months. My monthly rental was $255. They said the only way I could lower my monthly payment would be to move to a smaller unit. I agreeed with the terms and then was told they had no smaller units available, I was put on a waiting list. Not happy with the experience I just had, I stopped by Extra Space Storage on my way home, it’s actually closer to where I live. Its safe, modern and clean with very friendly staff, keypad security to get into the building, alarms on each individual unit, and someone is there 24 hours (although you dont get 24 access to your unit). Carts are available to make moving easier and there is a very large elevator. Parking spaces close to the door too.

Great place because its easy to get to, the people running it are friendly and helpful, the place is clean, prices are fair, and theres no funny business when it comes down to signing a contract - very straight forward. Highly recommend. My circumstances changed and I had to move out earlier than expected and it was easy to do so. Will use this place again without hesitation when next I need a storage space.

Raul and Amy did a great deal with me a week before Christmas. That was my best Christmas gift that I have had. I just came for 5x5 and I got 5x 10 for better price. Dont think to much if you want storage on this location.

Wasnt happy with previous storage company so moved here instead. SO MUCH better. right off the bat, staff was a complete upgrade. They are always available to help unlike previous company. Rates were cheaper for a BIGGER unit. I should have moved here sooner

I helped friends move in and it was the easiest move I have participated in. The location had plenty of carts on hand to help move our items quickly and effectively. Location is clean and clutter free. Very nice place, I would highly recommend to other friends.

Recently I had an urgent need to store some personal items. A friend told me about Extra Space Storage. On my first visit I met Amy Pope, the manager, and was amazed at her bubbly personality and customer service skills. I travel a lot in my job and it is rare that I meet someone who seems to genuinely care about customers. Ms. Pope does care. It did not take long to find just what would suit my needs. Great storage facility. Amy and Steve are so nice! And the whole complex is always kept very clean. I’ve been to other storage places near by and they’re dirty with terrible lighting in the hallways, but this one it not like that!
