We had a long road trip crossing a couple state lines and came to Extra Space Storage before having a unit booked. They were able to accommodate us the same day and assist us with any support we needed. We are glad we found them and it’s close to so many things, we also got a rate that felt right for us.

Initially gave a 5 star review, however I have been renting a unit for about 3 months at this point and feel an updated review is necessary.I rented my unit on a promotion - $116 a month. Now 3 months into renting it, I have had a major rodent infestation (urine/feces/chew marks) all over my furniture and belongings. Called the office to ask about it and was told “yeah, other units had this happen as well, not sure what to tell you since you don’t have insurance on the unit”. No apology or resolution? Extremely unprofessional.About 2 weeks later, I get a letter in the mail saying “due to inflation” my monthly payment would be raised $100 - now putting me at $216 only THREE MONTHS INTO RENTING THE UNIT? Are you serious?Extremely disappointing. 0/10 recommend this place. Please rent elsewhere. I know I will now be!

Beware!!! Falling behind on rent will cost a substantial amount!! The regular late fee PLUS $120 (one hundred and twenty dollars) fee after 35 days from due date!!So dont be late on payments! (I imagine its to keep you from catching up...or being late which wasnt mentioned on signing of having 1 late fee AND a punishment fee. LOL)Regular rent is on the high end, (unless you have lots of money) but is an ok place to keep stuff in a controlled environment... (Except the dust and occasional bug.)No lighting inside the units!! So you cant work when its dark outside. (No outlets either.) Just lights for the exterior driveway.Staff has a long lunch break, so access to restroom is always locked which is frustrating and very inconvenient.

Good unit for a couple of months. The rates did increase from 113 to 210 in one month so that was surprising. Its not the reason I moved my stuff out of the unit, but I would consider that. Overall good experience. I wish there was a bathroom code they could give customers for after hour visiting.

When I first moved in, there was a bad infestation of birds on the side of the facility where my unit was. So bird poop was everywhere on that side. About 3 months in I went back to the unit to get some things & the birds & poop were gone. However, when after opening my unit I had to kill a several black widow spiders & there were mouse dropping on my boxes & furniture. A few of my boxes were scratched up & 1 was eaten through & had a hole in it. The rats had gotten to my stuffed animals & chewed all the seeded stuffing out of one of them. So the seeds were all over the right side of the unit. Along with urine & feces. I had enough, so decided to move out as soon as possible. When moving out there were daddy long leg spiders & crickets all over the unit, thankfully we bought bug spray & a broom. We had to check everything to make sure that we were not taking any critters bugs, or insects with us. I would not rent at this facility again.

Overall this place does exactly what you need it to. Plenty of EASY TO ACCESS units which is a MAJOR plus. When I moved in 3+ years ago, rates were pretty fair, insurance was comprehensive. Definitely would rent here again if the need ever came up

I was initially happy with using Extra Space Storage and this facility, but after a few months my rate nearly doubled for no explicable reason. When I called to follow up a representative told me that the fine print of the agreement states that the rate is subject to change depending on market conditions. Our rate went from approximately $75 a month to over $150, which, the representative admitted, was more than the going rate for similar units; eventually my rate was dropped to $123 a month.The company knew our plans, never mentioned that the rate was only for a few months, never mentioned it was subject to change based on market conditions. I feel they should have been upfront about these details, and as a result, we are finding a new storage unit elsewhere and wont do business with Extra Space again.

Never thought id be this pleased with a storage business, because welp its just storage. Basically my husband and I are in the middle of moving and I’ve been dealing with so many business’s that this one stuck out like a unicorn! It’s so well managed and the speed and ease of the whole process was flawless!The thing is how often do you come across a truly honest business these days? They discussed all of the ways one can save, up front without even asking! I got the first month free even after telling them I only needed the unit for a month. Things that other business’s would normally hide or just hope you dont find out, like cancelling ahead of time so that you don’t end up paying for the full month.The customer service was some of the best Ive come across, as well. All of the agents are competent and sharp, they kept all of my notes from previous calls, which was so nice. Maria was the last person to finish signing me up for my storage unit. She was lovely to talk to, super thoughtful throughout the process and really funny which is always a plus!Only negative thing I can think of is that their software system’s seem a bit buggy. Other than that I walked away super impressed with how Extra Space runs their business and the quality people working there! Highly recommend them! I seldom take the time to write reviews unfortunately because of time but I was just that impressed.

Day one went into office to ask questions and manager could not be bothered! See I registered on line !She must not make any money on that form of rental? All she could tell me was that all info In needed was sent to me via email!When I finally found unit there was no cart anywhere in site. The door to the inside units would not stay open no door stop and the fancy magnet door holder was not working. So a bit of a hassle with no door stop or cart.All in all it’s really what you expect these days in service? But, the high inflated move in price ? Lock? Admin fee and all ! Just gross!

Then a prompt phone call from the manager guiding through their easy mobile contract procedure. Everyone is being squeezed by gas, rent, food prices and these guys didnt NEED to increase their rent, they didnt even say that their costs have risen, just that they were increasing to market standards or something like that. So they increased about $75 a month, with no additional benefits. Were looking around for new digs as the place doesnt have a few things one would expect from a storage place, but they want the same or more than other places.

How do I put this.. I moved out here from LA medical reasons a real struggle to make a long story short I ended up in the hospital again, when I got out my storage had been locked cause it wss past due.. I thought I was going to lose everything being as late as I was.. well, Theres this nice woman there, Maria.. I cannot thank her enough, I wish I could buy her and her family dinner or something.. They were extremely giving with the Covid epidemic, which allowed for me to save my unit from being auctioned off. They also have been evicting the homeless that have been struggling through this Pandemic. I have health issues and need my supplements at constant temperature. Also partially disabled.
