I had a seamless experience renting my unit and I thank Taylor and his team for that! This is not my first storage unit rental, but it is with Extra Space and I have to say comparatively the customer service was top tier! Made for pleasant experience. This facility offers great customer service and fare prices. Taylor and the rest of the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and well kept. I always feel safe and comfortable when I visit my storage. Others have also made reference to the facility being tech savvy and clean. Really kind and on-the-ball staff. Im moving out of state so I cleared out and cancelled my unit online yesterday (a Sunday so the office was closed). I was very surprised to see a confirmation email this morning and a refund in my bank for the remainder of the month without ever having to call or anything. I thought at the very least Id need to check up and confirm the move-out. Thats service that exceeds expectations :) Facilities are also well maintained and modernized. Would absolutely recommend this location to anyone!

I was shopping around for a storage unit that could securely and comfortably store my car. Upon a quick search I saw that this location had the best rates and cleanest facilities. Made a reservation and swung by to check it out. I was assisted by Taylor, who was an absolute legend, and promptly gave me a tour of the units. Even though there were many options available, Taylor helped me decide what was most suitable for my purposes. Any questions or concerns that came up were promptly and thoroughly addressed. When it came to signing the lease, Taylor also helped me lock in the best rates and even took the time to go over the fine print with me. Extremely knowledgeable, efficient, attentive, and patient. I have had my things stored here for about 18 months. There have been several price increases over that period, which I think is really unethical, given that customers are not prepared to pay more just because the facility wants more money suddenly. The facility is usually well kept inside, however I have noticed some trash outside in the parking area. About a month ago, I went to check on my unit, which I try to do periodically to make sure if anything is stolen, the camera footage can be quickly subpoenaed before it gets erased, because that happened at another facility before. As I was parking, I heard and felt something that indicated a tire puncture. I got out and there were nails on the ground. I could not see the tire deflating quickly, but I took a photo because I was sure that there was a high probability of a puncture. A few hours later, tire was completely flat. I also documented this. I emailed the customer help email address and attached photos. It was ignored. I emailed again about a week ago, it was again ignored. I called and the person who answered the phone at this facility said that he needed to handle the customer in the store and placed me on a long hold. I stayed on hold. He then said that he would call me back. Still waiting for that call. I find it interested that they can email me and call me when they want their money after raising the prices for the same unit whenever they feel like it, but when they are responsible for damages to a customers vehicle, they ignore emails, put the call on long holds, and dont call back as they say they will. The fact that they have a long-term customer means nothing to them, which is really disappointing, because I thought this company was better than the previous one. They need to clean the parking areas thoroughly and customers need to be sure to monitor their tires when at this facility.

I called and came to find out that I never received my increase notice through the mail.Andrew was very patient, kind and helpful. The facilities are very well maintained, the staff is very friendly. 5 stars for this. HOWEVER, while It appears secure, sadly it is not. Our unit was broken into and pillaged by someone that knew what to look for. Then we literally had to stand in line behind others reporting a theft to the policeman that showed up. BTW, no security cameras on the unit hallways, just the elevators.

The security you guys have at night has no regards for the people who live on this street they are constantly yelling into them speakers between the hours of 10pm and 4am I’m up at 2am writing this now because they don’t stop. A speaker is clearly not scaring the smokers away hire better security and b considerate nobody wants to hear how they’re going to call the police every 2 second’s because they don’t want to leave the property or get off the property tell security lower the damn speaker.

Whatever you do dont let anybody put your name down as your emergency contact in case they cant get ahold of the person renting unit or dont help anybody move into the storage because if you do and they do something and get thrown out they will put your name on a do not rent list. Dont believe them if they send you an email after you move out saying oh youre welcome to come back here cuz they sent me one of those and then I want to go to rent a storage at another place they told me that that place put me on a do not rent list. So they hold you for somebody elses actions I recommend going anywhere else but here

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the unethical and unfair rent increase practices employed by Extra Space Storage at 2035 Wardlow Rd Long Beach CA 90810 . Over the course of just one year, my monthly rent has been raised three times, from an initial rate of $130 to $169 and then to an astonishing $289. To make matters worse, upon discussing this issue with other tenants, I discovered that their rent had been increased even more. It is evident that Extra Space Storage is engaging in a deceitful strategy of luring customers in with low introductory rates and then continuously hiking up the rent.I strongly urge potential customers to think twice before considering Extra Space Storage Whitin. While their facilities may seem appealing at first, be prepared for significant rent hikes that may far exceed what you initially agreed upon. It is disappointing to see a company prioritize short-term financial gains over building long-lasting customer relationships.

She has an exceptionally professional and fun personality. She was very talkative and answered each and every question. Usually, you expect to go in and find things of this nature to be boring and straightforward. Somehow she made that short time fun and kept me laughing and interested in the conversations and in the services. She was able to help us find a perfectly spacious unit for what we needed. My review it’s regarding the pricing. I started paying around $115 and now I’m paying $132 which at the end of the day if prices are been raised I would at least, at least! like a notification (text, email, phone call, letter) regarding the price been raised!. What if I didn’t have enough money in my bank account and all of a sudden they debit the money? . A while back i was paying was $117 and suddenly they raised it to $118 which I asked about that even though it was a $1 to my bank that $30 overdraft fee! and this past month was $132!!!. I mean do what you have to do but at least notify the customer!.... the only thing I won’t complain is the customer service inside the location which was really really good!!

I called up around noon and got a good quote over the phone so I decided to swing on down and check out the facility. I met with Eddie and he showed me around a few different sizes and a few different locations of storage spaces.I am done and settling on a 10 x 10 and its very close to one of the lifts which will make it easier for me to get my stuff in and out of the unit because it is inside and upstairs.The whole deal went smoothly the people here seem cool and the facility is definitely secure.Pro tip: go to their website and get the internet price or internet discount because it is quite a bit cheaper than the walk in price. find them online and get and get the Internet price because it is much better than the walkin price.

I r randomly walk in to this location thinking ugh im giving up this is stressful. Then Rosa assisted us was very friendly and very helpful. Very unsecure location, I was burglarized as well as 2 other renters and apparently the police officers responding said they are frequently called. There was another theft a couple of days prior and other renters were not notified. Seems like there is extreme fraud and I would be very cautious about everyone. Cameras I was informed are not even functioning. Place needs to be investigated.
